#1 Russians are well organized. They refresh troops daily. August should clearly demonstrate how massive the Russian efforts are. Ukrainians are losing large numbers of solders daily. Tired and worn no fresh faces here to oppose. Volodymyr dandy and wife play to the various media. We will see then in endless reruns of Western medias.

#3 ^ Major problem with our western media. Ukraine now enlisting teenagers for war efforts. Just looking over YouTube extreme bias exposed. I am told to review Indian media for best coverage. Sky news has been good but today I will review India news programing for balance.

Most people I have talked to just don't bother to watch or listen to news these days. The Swamp Biden programing I suspect.

#4 Dunno about your sources Dale, but the impression I get is that Russians are not able to seize any more territory and Ukrainians are not able to push the Russians back. IOW, although the death and destruction continues, this war has degenerated into a stalemate and it's about damn time to stop it. Too bad we have no one on the international stage of sufficient stature to grab both sides by the nape of the neck, bash their heads together and insist on some serious negotiations. Such a person would certainly be in line for a Nobel Peace Prize, kinda like Jimmy Carter who managed to broker peace between Israel and Egypt. Too bad Brandon is more of a belligerent himself. He doesn't even measure up to jimmuh.

#5 The vaccine business for example. Same media. Now September vaccine formulated boosters.Hide anti vaccine news and hide war news same thing going on. The only sane approach is question everything. Being a gleaner, I simply gather information. Many simply ignore. I present ideas and ponder. This site allows a balanced exchange. I applaud their efforts. I must admit a higher caliber of talent than my own.(My moment of weakness, brief as it is).

#10 Russians fail several assaults...

Expect to see that headline often in the coming days. The Ukrainians are fighting from well prepared positions - fortifications, trenches and tunnels - created for the last war. The Russians could do a human wave assault which would thrill the media but would incur insane casualties.

Instead, the Russian tactical playbook looks like this:
1) Advance to fix the enemy in place
2) Use artillery to reduce the enemy and cut supply lines. Lots of artillery. Small probing attacks take the temperature and continually harass the enemy. See "Russians fail several assaults" headlines
3) More artillery. Without supply, the enemy either withdraws or is overrun when one of those "failed attacks" suddenly works.
4) Wash, rinse, repeat.

tl;dr: The Russians advance like bankruptcy - slowly at first, then all at once.
