#1  Poor Russia, now negotiating for Ukraine to leave their pitiful navy alone and Russia will not attack civilian ships with grain, this is what Badanov's "Big Bad BEAR" Russia has come to.

I'd counter with NYET, we'll just sink the rest of your rust buckets and let Turkey be the Black Sea hegemon for now:

#2  Not safe anymore to have chosen to side with Badanov's Big Bad Bear, Badanov can pray to his totem poll of Russian tyrants to heal the guy up:

Russians flatter themselves that anyone, including fellow Russians, gives enough of a shit about Russians to waste our time feeding them in a zoo. Visit Russia, they leave their own downtrodden out begging like it was Canaan in 4000 BC:

#3 The Turks have Putin's number.

The Ukrainian-Turkish-UN convoy of 14 grain ships continues to sail south after breaking through Russia’s naval blockade of Ukraine this morning.

#5 "they leave their own downtrodden out begging like it was Canaan"

This seems more emotional than factual. Because less than 100K out of 125M people are homeless in Russia. The RUS say that homeless in Russia is a choice, not a circumstance. Which I fathom might be reason for their empathy deficit.

Have you been to any major American city in the last decade plus since Obama? If you have, you cannot miss the dystopic homeless camps that are plaguing these metros. Double-down and venture into the inner city, ex Frankford Line in philly or Skidrow in LA, and you'll find something similar to Thunderdome.

I think Thunderdome and Canaan are on par with each other.

#6  begging like it was Canaan

I’m not familiar with this idiom. But it looks interesting, so if someone would be so kind as to explain its provenance, I’d be grateful.

#7  All FoxNews supporters please pay attention. Tucker Carlson's ridiculous lies have become so off the charts, even Russian State TV spokesmen are calling him out as a liar. Never thought I'd see this day when US pr was weaker than Russian big lie trash:

#8 someone would be so kind as to explain its provenance

Better yet, let's have Forkbeard here explain it. 😉

#9 I think Canaan was doing quite well in 4000bc. Phoenicia, I think they called it. By 1200bc it was 'flowing with milk and honey' (ugh, the smell) when Joshua took it. I may be wrong.

Hey! That's a justification for taking land and killing the inhabitants right there! Ha ha! You brought it up, Forkbeard, darlin'.

#10 War is war. I get that. But it seems a bit unsporting to launch an attack from a secure corridor set up for grain export.

If I was playing the Ukr side, I would sink one of the grain ships. No need for elaborate ops or drones, a simple limpet mine planted in port would do. Super easy, barely an inconvenience. And everyone would know the Rus did it because they are big jerks and this is exactly the kind of thing they would do. Love and war, man.

#11 Especially with all the hewing and hawing 6 months ago about everybody starving because no grain exports.

"But they were looking for an excuse anyways!"

Yeah, well, guess what. And making it a blockbuster production of likes showed less strategic sense over the last few days combined than SteveS showed in one paragraph.
