#3 ... died of #COVID on Dec 9. He once said, "Many parts of my body are not my own", as many of his organs were "replaced".

Maybe too many organ replacements makes one more susceptible to disease. Darwin or karma?

#10 New COVID omicron subvariant XBB.1.5 is ‘spreading like wildfire’ in US: Health experts reveal why

#11 From Skid's #7 link:"WHO warns ... most transmissible...But XBB.1.5 appears to be just as mild as its ancestor Omicron strains"

Over time, respiratory viruses tend to become more contagious and less virulent. It is just how things work. A virus that gives you a case of the sniffles that you can walk around with spreads further than one that drops you in your tracks.

The CCP HAS BEEN LYING ABOUT ITS C-19+ #'s
for 2 years. Unless of course you buy into the CCP having the same infection figures each week plus or minus 100 and being #98+ for infections in the world. Despite being in the top 2 for population.

So, if one is a smoker, the abused mucus membrane may serve as an armor?

#16 if one is a smoker, the abused mucus membrane may serve as an armor?

An interesting conjecture. Mucus is like microbial quicksand, so increased or thickened mucus would be a good thing in dealing with invading microbes. In the same way, thickened, leathery lungs might impair the passage of invaders as well as oxygen molecules.
