#2 There are actual videos of the human waves they are using and the Wagner head has said they are using the prisoners as a human wave tactic.

#3 All those convicted criminals killed in a human wave attack won’t need to be housed, fed, and guarded after they return home and resume former habits. And the ones that do survive will get to play that lottery again and again while learning useful skills. All sorts of wins from the Russian perspective.
