#1 This is a classic piece of Russian propaganda, designed to make Russians in particular and everybody else, hate Germans and equate today's Germans with the last century's Nazis. It doesn't help that German tanks will soon be headed into battle against Russians. That gives the propaganda the little kernel of truth that it needs to be effective. And so the hate goes on from one generation to the next.
