#1 Yesterday a reader commented: Russian Perspective: Ukrainians have started using chemical weapons and bragging about it over social media. Dropping nerve agents from drones.

Having seen the video, I explained to him that the "nerve gas" is clearly a VOG fragmentation grenade. Today, in the grand Russian tradition of accusing your enemies of doing what you are doing, some Russians released a video of them dropping a banned chemical gas grenade. The chemical is CS gas, but still banned by treaty.

The Russians are violating the chemical weapons convention (OPCW) by using riot-control agent as a method of warfare. On this video they're using K-51 grenade.

He was already drowning and flailing BEFORE the VOG grenade was dropped (and clearly a fragmentation grenade, not a gas or liquid dispenser). He was already wounded and with the heavy wet gear unable to raise his head above the water. Cause before effect, not the other way around.

#8 Bakhmut- but for Russia - they are willing to sacrifice thousands and thousands of soldiers to get it

Wagner is no longer able to recruit cannon fodder from Russian prisons. They have already sacrificed 75% of that force and have little steam left. The Russian army is unwilling to support them and Prigozhin should avoid high windows at all costs.

Expect the Ukrainians gradually counterattacking and rolling them back.
