#2 Haven't thought about the DEW line in years.

#4 Weird. So weird.

You can't murder trees for lumber if we burn them down!

#5 Fire Location Map. Also smoke density, as of June 8.

Many close together in Quebec, but not a big line.

#6

many times an fire is localized, burns the vegetation that is dry and smolders

then a strong wind comes along, reignites the fire and gets the flames in motion

this appears to be what happened

#7 Plate edges in Quebec? Craton shifts? Woodow, don't give them ideas about more things that could have been caused by CAGW.

#8 When we had our fun 6 years ago, what had happened is during Winter there was a particular ice storm which did some damage.

Come Spring, we had what was lovingly referred to as a wind event. Well, all those powerlines and electric fences which were damaged but still working, not showing signs, sparked.

West Kansas, East Colorado, North West Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle all basically caught fire at near the same time.

In that same grocery aisle, more common is a storm with lightning comes through, and the tree strikes smolder. Then a few, even 5 days may go by and the wind blows, and those embers starting lighting up fuel and, again, its fire everywhere all at once.

I am willing, however, to let those who brag about using fire to press their cause to go to the head of the blame line.

#9 When the eco-terrorists spout their ideology, remind people this is a real life example of their tactics.

Also, when people say solar is the way, maybe the only way to go, apparently solar power production in these affected areas is 50% of potential. Unexpectedly.

#10 Might have gotten hit by a graviton string.
