The description of feats is like that of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Most citizens in Russia and the countries that were formed after the USSR had the same grandfathers and grandmothers. But we don’t and never had grandfathers like Hunka, the SS man who fled to Canada.

Baltic Legions refers to the three Baltic Waffen SS divisions:

20th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Estonian)
15th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Latvian)
19th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (2nd Latvian)

That’s because the Russian/Soviet Union grandfathers who did all the evil Communist stuff never had to flee, Grom. They got to stay right there and get promotions for a job well done, because the Soviet evil stuff started under Lenin and kept going until Stalin died in 1953, with less evil stuff going on after that until the Soviet Union collapsed in 1989.

#4 That's not the point TW. The point is, Natasha exaggerates: most Russian minorities had SS/gendarmerie units in Nazi service. For that matter, there was Vlasov's Army.
