#5 While at the retail crime level you get the Venezuelan equivalent of MS-13 crime (organized crime mixed with barbaric, sociopath behaviors), at the operational level, I suspect there are linkages to Venezuelan government operatives. What is even more troubling is the heavy inclusion therein of Cuban, Nicaraguan and suspected IRGC talent. That adds a subversive, informed, skilled over-structure to gang targeting and focus.
