#1 As regional facilities increase, Amazon is running their own delivery service. Why would they need UPS? Can you say vertical monopoly boys and girls?

Let me give you another example

FEDX vs UPS vs. Amazon 2 day express shipping rates for a envelope with 2 pieces of paper in it, from Atlanta to Detroit.

FEDEX 2 day $12.60
UPS 2 Day $25.00++
Amazon $9.99 per order (depending on Item location)

#7 Amazon has been working towards this for some years now. In addition to "last mile" facilities they have some fairly sketchy drivers making local deliveries in personal vehicles.

At one point they were buying UPS trucks and repainting them in Amazon colors, but those seem to have been replaced by electric vehicles.

The drones will be more widely used as soon as they can convince the FAA and local authorities to okay them.

#8 It seems like every time I go into a store and try to find something a sales clerk tells me I have to order it online. Well, that means I have to wait for it sometimes for weeks and also that I will have to pay for shipping. Wouldn't it be nice if there were stores where you could actually find stuff, buy it right then and there and take it home?
