New video game lets players 'free Palestine' and fight Israel
[Jpost] A new video game headed for Steam will see players take part in the Israeli-Paleostinian Conflict — from the Paleostinian perspective.
And with more results requiring much less application and guts.
Titled Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the al-Aqsa Mosque, the game is developed by Nidal Nijm, a Brazilian resident of Paleostinian origin.
Meaning Brazil let him live there, but he's not into lambada and pretty girls and Carnaval and that sort of thing.
The game promises to let players take the role of Paleostinian freedom fighters and break what it calls "the cliché of portraying Arabs as Terrorists."
Sure, sure. Just a cliché. Just ask Leon Klinghoffer.
"You will play in missions across Paleostine with many objectives to accomplish, epic battles, powerful guns, vehicles to drive, and more," the game's page on Steam notes.
Just like real life, huh? As they say in Russian, "Bayyyy!!"
The game is currently slated for a December 2021 release, and user reviews are currently not available on the platform. However,
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone...
a free playable demo is available for download.
Like they say in Chinese, "Huaaaau!"
The game's story follows protagonist Ahmad al-Falastini,
Kinda like Mahmoud al-Filistini, only spelled different and with a different cliché first name.
who was "unjustly tortured and locked away
Book 'im, Zvi!
" by the IDF for five years and who lost his family in an IDF Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
, as noted on the Fursan al-Aqsa website. Now free from prison, Falastini is out for Dire Revenge™ and to retake his homeland by joining the titular Fursan al-Aqsa, a new Paleostinian resistance movement.
They play video games to resist Zionist aggressors and then they have parades where they wear stifling but identity protective masks and they festoon themselves with belts of machine gun ammunition. They're really very fearsome. I'm sure the Zionist Entity™ doesn't rest easy in his bed at night.
The story and gameplay combined promise a high-octane action experience, with the story taking place over adrenaline-packed missions on the ground, sea and sky. It will feature a wide variety of guns, settings, vehicles and even boss fights.
Guns! Vehicles! Boss fights! As they say in San Francisco, "Like, wow, man! Hand me the toilet paper wouldja?... Whaddya mean, 'We're out?'... So what am I supposed to use? My fingers?"
