The woman, who is jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data, used his identification and password to log onto popular interactive game "Maple Story" to carry out the virtual murder in mid-May, a police official in northern Sapporo said on condition of anonymity, citing department policy. Dumb. Should've used a virtual hit man. And paid him with virtual money.
"I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning. That made me so angry," the official quoted her as telling investigators and admitting the allegations. I couldn't help it, I tells ya! I COULDN'T HELP IT!!
The woman had not plotted any revenge in the real world, the official said. Maybe she's practicing...
She has not yet been formally charged, but if convicted could face a prison term of up to five years or a fine up to $5,000. In virtual prison or real prison?

(SomaliNet) In the latest incident that brings to 26, the total number of albinos murdered in Tanzania this year, a ten-year-old albino girl has been murdered in the western region of Shinyanga.
Media reports say the albinos are killed by gangs that then mutilate the corpses and sell the body parts to medicine men. The medicine men believe the body parts will bring them riches and happiness.
The murder occurred several hours after a speech by President Jakaya Kikwete in which he called for tougher measures against the murderers. So far, 47 people have been arrested in connection with the violence.

(SomaliNet) Twenty-seven people have been arrested, in a fraud case involving fake diplomas from Peruvian universities. Sources say some of them purchasers of the forged documents.
According to police, the forgers provided false diplomas for, among others, doctors, psychologists, engineers, architects and pharmacists. The documents cost 18,000 euros apiece and were shipped from Alicante and Malaga.
Several of those arrested had used the fake diplomas to gain work in private Spanish clinics where the tasks they have carried out included implanting silicone, injecting Botox and writing doctor's prescriptions.

Fake diplomas can get immigrants jobs here with H1B visas, too. Because Medicare reimburses doctors below costs plus the high cost of malpractice insurance, many have quit practicing or refuse to see patients without private insuramce. Many competitive schools discouraged nurses and doctors for years, steering them into other fields. The professional shortage is filled with foreign doctors who will work for less, especially if they don't have $100,000 in educational debt. When government contractors such as Rockwell lays off employees and hires foreign engineers from nations that should be watched because they pose a potential security or espionage risk, this beomes another major loophole for terrorists to relocate under the radar. Harrods' owner Mohamed al-Fayed was questioned by police on Wednesday over a newspaper report which alleged he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at his London department store, his spokeswoman said.
Al-Fayed voluntarily went to a police station in west London to answer questions in a 30-minute meeting about the alleged incident that took place in May, reports said.
London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement that a man attended a police station and was questioned under caution "in relation to an allegation of sexual assault that was received in May in 2008 on a girl under 16 at a business premises in central London."
In keeping with British police convention, they did not confirm the identity of the man questioned. There have been no arrests in the inquiry so far. It is unclear in the police statement whether al-Fayed was questioned as a witness or played some other part in the case.
The Mail on Sunday newspaper reported this week that a 15-year-old girl had accused an unnamed "senior Harrods executive" of fondling and kissing her after meeting him while shopping with her mother.

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Student volunteers from colleges around New York State braved freezing cold temperatures on their bikes Wednesday to send a message to state and federal political candidates: pay attention to climate change. It wuz warm last week an' now it's cold! Why does the climate have to change every Fall?
The New York Public Interest Research Group helped organize the ride. Environmentalists cheered on the bikers as they stopped in Utica around noon. They want candidates to let voters know what they plan to do about global warming and the energy crisis. Can't we have a strongly worded letter or sumpin?

Two officials of Protikar, a non-government organisation (NGO), were held by locals in Bogra last night while allegedly making away with Tk 6.52 crore collected from about 10,000 women for providing them with training.
Meanwhile, about 50 people were injured in a clash between two groups over the money swindled by an NGO Freedom Unnayan Sangstha (FUS) at Nimtala bazar of Puthia upazila on Monday night.
Our Bogra correspondent reports: locals handed over Protikar officials Ratan Kumar Rabidas and his brother Jatish Kumar Rabidas to the police. "The NGO set up several cooperatives in and around the area and collected Tk 6,525 from each woman in the name of creating job opportunity by providing them with training," said Dhunat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah Harun.
Ratan Kumar told the journalists that they had collected Tk 22,837,000 from the members of the organisation. However, the members alleged that the organisation collected about Tk 6.52 crore from around 10,000 members of the NGO. Abdullah Harun said there had been allegations against the NGO after it launched its activities at the beginning of this year. Later, Protikar was compelled to discontinue its activities. But it continued its operation secretly at Dhunat and in several areas of Sherpur and Sirajganj.
Our Rajshahi correspondent reports: Local people alleged that Freedom Unnayan Sangstha (FUS) in collusion with some administrative officials made away with around Tk 500 crore deposited by its members early this year. Following a court verdict against the NGO on October 8, about 10 members of the organisation went to the house of Mahbubur Rahman, Puthia branch manager of FUS, at about 7:00pm on Monday night for getting back Tk 7 lakh they paid to the NGO.
When Mahbubur denied to pay them back saying he would appeal against the court verdict, they beat him up.
Later, Mahbubur along with his henchmen swooped on the NGO members at Nimtala bazar at around 9:00pm. They beat up the NGO members and also damaged five shops. Around 50 people were injured in the clash. Of the wounded, 16 were admitted to Puthia Health Complex and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
A case was filed against 19 people including Mahbubur. However, none had been arrested.

The home of a Central Florida Republican headquarters manager was shot up and damaged over his support of Sen. John McCain, the man told police. Rog Coverely said several pellets pierced his Longwood home. Coverely showed several spiderwebbed-holes in the front windows of his home.
The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home. "All I can tell you is this, I have a very good relationship with my neighbors," Coverely said. "I mow my lawn. The only thing that has changed is I have two McCain signs in my front yard."
Coverely said he has taken about 300 calls concerning stolen or vandalized McCain signs in the area. "It says this campaign is getting vicious," Coverely said.
Coverely said it appears Democrats are becoming more aggressive in the county. "I wouldn't say slipping, but I would say the Democrats have become far more aggressive in Seminole County because it is such a heavy Republican area," Coverely said.

This is just SAD! I mean really what happend to our freedom of speech in this country? I think that the illuminati media has to shoulder some of the blame since they constantly put out stories about how McCain suporters are all racists. I don't really hear alot of stories about McCain supporters attacking Obama supporters homes or signs. Truth is in the actions, not just words or speeches.

"A knife-wielding man robbed a McCain-Palin campaign volunteer and etched a B into her face after he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the womans car, Pittsburgh police said.
Ashley Todd, 20, of College Station, Texas, was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street in Bloomfield just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her, put a knife to her throat and demanded $60, police said.
Todd handed the man $60 she had in her pocket and stepped away from him, investigators said. The man then noticed the bumper sticker on the woman's car, which was parked in front of the ATM. The man became very angry, made comments to Todd about John McCain and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, police said.
"He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain," said police Chief Nate Harper.
The man then carved the "B" into Todd's right cheek.
Todd, who isn't familiar with the area, drove to a friend's house nearby and told her friend she wasn't sure of the exact location where the robbery took place but remembered a green sign above the ATM. The friend called police and the officer met them on Cypress Street in Bloomfield, police said.
Todd's friend offered to drive her back in the direction she came from to look at ATMs until she found the right one, police said. A police officer followed until Todd pointed out a Citizens Bank ATM at Liberty and Pearl, police said.
She declined medical treatment at the scene and said she would go to a hospital today.
Todd declined to comment.
"She is a volunteer for the McCain-Palin campaign," said campaign spokesman Peter Feldman. "Sen. McCain has reached out to her via telephone and has spoken to her and her family, as has McCains running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Feldman said. Out of respect for her privacy we're not going to comment further."
Democrat Barack Obama's campaign released a statement saying: Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."
Police described the suspect as black, about 6-foot-4, and said he was wearing dark-colored jeans and a black undershirt.
The ATM has a security camera and investigators are trying to watch the video, police said."
