-Lurid Crime Tales-
Monica Crowly: Was Hillary Clinton running her own rogue intel operation?
[Wash Times] We all know that the only reason you would deliberately and premeditatedly set up a private email address and server is to have total control over your communications -- to keep people away from those communications and to retain the ability to edit and delete your content.

In Hillary Clinton's case, given her long history of concealment and duplicity, total control was the system's purpose, not to keep track of Chelsea's bridal gift registry.

A story originally reported in 2013 (and little-noticed at the time) may offer a deeper dimension to the reasons she wanted this control -- and it leaves us with many new, unanswered questions.
Intriguing article.
Old Crows say yes, most likely.

#1  Was she running her own intel op? Yes, and still is. Nothing about the intel gathering or sources and operations will be on this email server. That all went to a different one. Compartmented, assuming they're competent, which they always have been in the past.

National Archives and Records Administation (NARA) has some questions for Foggy Bottom.
I hope no one is holding their breath on this one.

#1  Guess they were too lazy to go to the archives to 'Sandy Berger' the materials. Much easier to do it at home.

#2  Um, this is good stuff. State, your move.

Obama floats making voting mandatory, calling it 'potentially transformative'
Posted by: DarthVader || 03/19/2015 09:08 || Comments || Link || [6 views] Top|| File under:

#1  You will vote and you will vote correctly, comrade.
Posted by: DarthVader || 03/19/2015 9:09 Comments || Top||

#2  THat means the election will be determlined by the 50% people who never read anthing else than Sports magazines. Is that what you would want for the Republic?

Posted by: JFM || 03/19/2015 9:30 Comments || Top||

#3  Transformative? Be wary of anything deemed transformative by this POTUS. Not voting is also a vote. It means: "F.U., I don't like any of the SOBs running."
Posted by: JohnQC || 03/19/2015 9:49 Comments || Top||

#4  Dictators are famous for getting 98+ percent of the 'mandatory' vote. Stuffing the ballot box is just cosmetic theater to rationalize the exercise of power. Consent of the governed = willingness* to give the last full measure of devotion.

* not to be confused with political officers beating the cannon fodder into the kill zone.
Posted by: Procopius2k || 03/19/2015 9:50 Comments || Top||

#5  Now making voting tied to 'work and paying taxes' would be transformative.
Posted by: Procopius2k || 03/19/2015 9:53 Comments || Top||

#6  Truly transform by abolishing primaries and having the party (singular) select the candidate (singular.)

#7  This is an attempt to get those young, liberal and democrat leaning votes as they can't rely on the middle class anymore.
Posted by: DarthVader || 03/19/2015 10:05 Comments || Top||

#8  No doubt that includes all the dead, felons, and imaginary friends as well.

And if you (or they) don't vote, don't worry, The government will vote Democrat for you.

#9  No doubt that includes all the dead, felons, and imaginary friends as well.

Getting the grasp of what 'universal' suffrage meant?

#10  Fine, and any vote fraud should result in the execution of those who perpetrated it AND those they falsely voted for. If it means all candidates are executed, good. Then maybe people will not see politics as quite so lucrative and easy ride to riches.

#11  CrazyFool, you are not crazy, you just understand the Liberal mind, which would drive anyone crazy. Loved your comment No doubt that includes all the dead, felons, and imaginary friends as well

#12  Disproportionately, Americans who skip the polls on Election Day are younger, lower-income and more likely to be immigrants or minorities, Obama said.

Yep. Those are the voters Obama wants and now he has the perfect way to get them off their butts and to the polls. He'll use the IRS to enforce a tax penalty for those who stay home. Of course that penalty for most of them will be a reduction in their tax refunds.

#13  From a guy that was elected to congress and only voted "Present"...

#14  How about one vote per person + one vote per Tax Dollar paid with a max of 100K votes?

Posted by: airandee || 03/19/2015 12:16 Comments || Top||

#15  "You will vote, even if you don't. We have collected meta-data to determine how you would have voted and a prepared pre-marked ballot will be cast as yours, Citizen. The IRS fine will be added to your next year's return."

#16  Aren't election details up to the States?

#17  From a guy that was elected to congress and only voted "Present"

Which brings up a point: Can we vote "present" or "None of the above"?

#18  MANDATORY

If one man and tell another man that an action is mandatory, the speaker is the master of the listener.

Never forget that.

#19  Wouldn't you need voter ID to prove everyone voted?
Posted by: Beavis || 03/19/2015 18:00 Comments || Top||

#20  If you don't want to vote for any of the candidates, they'll make you're choices for you.

#2  Erdoğan said officials of European countries also visit Turkey to study the healthcare system.

Yeah, there was a time when Mikey Moore touted healthcare in Cuba too.

The folks in the U.S. weren't too happy about getting state-sponsored health care shoved down their throats--you know, the "you've got to pass it to read it" legislation(?).
