Teacher Provides Free Education for Children in Kabul
[ToloNews] A teacher has provided children with the opportunity to get an education by creating a "Mobile School" in Kabul.

Wazir Khan is the founder of the "Mobile School" in Kabul and said that he does this work with the aim of providing education for children who are left out of education.

"You can see that most of these children are girls and children with disabilities, and these students have never gone to schools before today and it’s their first time that they attended school, in this school elders are also included," said Wazir Khan, a teacher.

Zergai 12, said that he is concerned about the lack of schools, and he is happy to attend this school.

"I want the school to be organized here, and I want to become a doctor in the future, and it has been six months since this school has been organized," said Zergai, a student.

"Sometimes there is sun and sometimes rain, and we asked for schools, and we have lots of challenges because we don’t have notebooks and pens," said Maryam, a student.

Some of the residents asked the Islamic Emirate to provide an opportunity for education for the children who are left out of school or do not have a place to study.

"You can see these children, and look at this sun, in this situation our children are studying here," said Mamor, a Kabul resident.

"We don’t have a school here, but we are happy for this educational opportunity," said Nooruddin, a Kabul resident.

Islamic Emirate Bans Women's Beauty Salons
In the end, females in Afghanistan will be confined entirely in purdah, unseen outside the household walls.
[ToloNews] The Islamic Emirate’s leader in a new verbal decree banned women's beauty salons in Kabul and other provinces across the country, a front man for the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, Mohammad Akif Mahajar, told TOLOnews.

The Ministry of Vice and Virtue also ordered the Kabul municipality to bring the new decree of the Islamic Emirate’s leader into effect and cancel the licenses of women's beauty salons.

"The men are jobless. When men cannot take care of their families, the women are forced to work in a beauty salon to find a loaf of bread. If they are banned there, what can we do?" said Raihan Mubariz, a makeup artist.

"We will not get out of the home if men (of the family) have jobs. What can we do? We should starve to death, what should we do? You want us to die," said a makeup artist.

This comes as the Islamic Emirate has banned girls and women from going to schools, universities and working at NGOs as well as going to public areas such as parks, cinemas and other recreation areas.

"The government should make a framework for it. The framework should be in a way that neither Islam would be damaged nor the country," said Abdul Khabir, a resident of Kabul.

Africa Subsaharan
I Was Hired By Former President, Buhari To Protect Terrorists-Infested Abuja-Kaduna Road —Militants Leader, Asari Dokubo
[SaharaReporters] Niger Delta holy warriors’ leader, Asari Dokubo has narrated that the immediate past government of Muhammadu Buhari engaged him to protect the Abuja-Kaduna highway.

The highway was reputed to be one of the most dangerous and risky for travellers during the whole two terms of Buhari as Nigerian president because of incessant kidnappings and murders.

But in the twilight of the immediate past government, reports of violence crashed significantly, according to Daily Trust.

When he paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock last month, Dokubo had claimed that his footmen and combatants were responsible for the axis's stability.

But in a recently released video, Dokubo boasted that his intervention was what restored peace and tranquility to the highway.

He stated that while he was not on good terms with Buhari for most of his government, the ex-President recognised the potential in him and assigned him a critical duty.

He was quoted by Daily Trust as saying: "If the Buhari-led government can engage me to bring safety for the people on the Abuja-Kaduna road, it should be commended. Do you know how many lives were saved? Do you know how many people were brought out from depression and trauma? Have you ever spoken to people who have been kidnapped?

"We did not employ ourselves. The government saw the potential in us and knowing that we can deliver and they engaged us. That the Buhari government engaged me shows that they know who I am. I was not a friend of Buhari. For seven years, I was anti-Buhari. Buhari with all that saw the capacity in me that I am capable and the government came."

Meanwhile attempts to reach Garba Shehu, Buhari's front man, for comment were unsuccessful as of the time of reporting this report, as he rejected calls put through to him.

Britain
Inquiry hears 80 civilians may have been summarily killed by SAS in Afghanistan
[AMUtv] Lawyers in the UK, representing families in Afghanistan, have told a public inquiry that British soldiers may have killed 80 civilians in a policy of terminating all fighting-age men.

The fresh claims are cited in a document submitted by the law firm Leigh Day, based on previous Ministry of Defence court disclosures, to a new public inquiry into allegations of war crimes committed by SAS soldiers in Afghanistan, a Guardian report stated Sunday night.

The report highlights concerns made by senior army officers in emails from the time, including a warning that "there appears to be a casual disregard for life".

The lawyers also said that the summary killings were conducted by three separate British SAS units that operated in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013.

The report stated that one of the elite soldiers is believed to have "personally killed" 35 civilians in Afghanistan on a single six-month tour of duty as part of an alleged policy to terminate "all fighting-age males" in homes raided, "regardless of the threat they posed".

Civilians were also reportedly often killed after allegedly producing weapons when separated from their wider family by SAS soldiers. However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
the report stated that there were five incidents where the number rubbed out exceeded the number of weapons found.

The lawyers reported that they tallied 25 suspicious deaths between June 2011 and May 2013, which included an allegation that one SAS raid "resulted in the deaths of 4/5 Afghans" but only one grenade was found. They also stated that the events of the operation were so violent mostly peaceful that two children "had to be urgently evacuated for medical treatment".

The inquiry heard that elite British soldiers from the SAS routinely raided family compounds in search of Taliban
...Arabic for students...
fighters, often at night-time, in the latter stages of the UK’s military deployment in Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
province, which ended in 2014.

The lawyers argued that there were "at least 30 suspicious incidents which resulted in the deaths of more than 80 individuals" between 2010 and 2013, but until now there has been no independent public investigation of what happened.

In December last year, UK ministers announced the creation of a statutory inquiry, led by appeal court judge Lord Justice Haddon-Cave into alleged killings of civilians in Afghanistan. This came after growing pressure in the wake of a string of investigative reports and civil cases, which alleged that elite British troops repeatedly killed civilians in Afghanistan in cold blood.

UK military police launched Operation Northmoor in 2014, an investigation into allegations of more than 600 offenses by British forces in Afghanistan, including the alleged killing of civilians by the SAS. In 2017 the ministry of defense said no evidence of criminality was found.

However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
the lawyers for bereaved families argue that in the years that followed, there was "a wide-ranging, multilayered and years-long cover-up" involving senior officers, officials and a range of inquiries. It has also been claimed that "in direct defiance" of an order not to delete information, staff at the special forces headquarters "permanently deleted an unknown quantity of data" shortly before military police Sherlocks arrived to examine it.

Full hearings are expected to start in the autumn, but on Wednesday and Thursday Haddon-Cave will decide on a request from the MoD to hold large parts of it secret, without members of the press or public present.

UK okays bill barring public bodies from boycotting Israel
[IsraelTimes] Government measure passes in 268-70 vote with 84 Conservative MPs and all of Labour abstaining.

Britannia’s Parliament on Monday voted to approve a bill that will bar local councils and other public bodies from boycotting Israeli goods. The measure passed 268-70 with some Conservative members of Parliament opposing the bill, and Labour party MPs abstaining from the vote.

The government bill, advanced by Michael Gove, the minister in charge of local government (formally the secretary of state for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and minister for Intergovernmental Relations), will ban public bodies from imposing economic boycotts on countries that are not already sanctioned by the government, with particular protection for Israel.

Gove has said that the bill sought to combat the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) anti-Israel movement, arguing that such initiatives are commonly accompanied by antisemitic discourse.

On Monday, ahead of the vote, Gove said that the bill "affirms the important principle that UK foreign policy is a matter for the UK government. It ensures local authorities focus their efforts on serving residents, not directing their resources inefficiently. And critically it protects minorities, especially Jewish communities, against campaigns that harm community cohesion and fuel antisemitism," according to the Guardian.

The report said the Labour Party at first tried to block the vote on the bill before abstaining, allowing the measure to pass. Eighty-four MPs from the governing Conservative Party also abstained and two voted against the measure.

The Guardian said the Conservative MPs who abstained or voted against the government argued that the bill was too vague and "illiberal" and may hamper actions against other countries like China.

"We recognize the problem the [Gove] says this bill is needed to tackle. It is therefore deeply frustrating that the government has introduced a bill that is so needlessly broad, with such sweeping draconian powers ... that he is faced with genuine legitimate heartfelt opposition from his own benches," said Lisa Nandy, the shadow communities secretary from the Labour party, during the debate on the bill, according to the Guardian.
But they did not advance their own version that would solve those problems despite Labour being headed by a man put in place to reverse the party’s well-deserved reputation as a home for anti-Zionism and Jew hatred.
A commitment to advance such a law first appeared in a 2019 election campaign manifesto by the Conservative Party. This pledge was also featured in Queen Elizabeth II’s annual speech last year, a few months before she died at age 96.
She lived through World War II. She knew where Jew hate leads, and did not approve.
Documentation that accompanied the queen’s speech cited as examples a decision by the city council of Lancaster to support Israel-related boycotts in 2021 and a similar move by the Leicester City Council in 2014. Other councils, including in Swansea and Gwynedd, have also previously launched boycotts of settlements, according to UK media.

The previous leader of the opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, had supported boycotts targeting West Bank settlements, though not blanket boycotts of Israel. He was eventually ousted from the party over numerous accusations of antisemitism and failing to take adequate action against antisemitic remarks and individuals within the party.

Corbyn’s successor, Keir Starmer,
...who rose to the head of the party after Jeremy Corbyn led the party to defeat on the twin rails of the far left and Jew-hate. Mr. Starmer, esq. claimed the moderate socialism and pro-Israel (because of his Jewish wife and kiddies, you see, except that they need to fix all their terrible problems) positions, cleaning out the worst of Corbyn’s most vocal haters.
has sought to distance himself from Corbyn’s legacy, has taken comprehensive action to root out antisemitism, and has said the party does not support BDS.
... but given how important the Muslim vote is to Labour, clearly an actual BDS bill is a step too far...

Europe
France repatriates women, children from Syrian camps
[Rudaw] La Belle France on Tuesday repatriated women and kiddies from camps in northeast Syria (Rojava), according to a statement from the French foreign ministry, the fourth since dropping the "case by case" approach.

"La Belle France today carried out a new operation to return to the national territory children and mothers who were in camps in northeastern Syria," read the statement from the French foreign ministry.

"This operation allowed the return of 25 children and 10 adult women," it added.

The statement added that the minors would be placed in social care, while the adults would be handed over to the relevant judicial authorities.

The women had voluntarily traveled to territories in Iraq and Syria that had been controlled by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) and were captured once the jihadist group was defeated in 2019. The repatriation of European nationals from the Syrian camps remains an issue.

The latest repatriation by La Belle France marks the fourth since July last year when the country dropped the "case by case" approach, where it would repatriate individual cases, following international pressure and condemnations.

In July last year, La Belle France returned 35 children and 16 mothers from Syrian camps, followed by the repatriation of 40 children and 15 women from the notorious al-Hol camp in October.

In January, the French foreign ministry announced the repatriation of 15 women and 32 children from northeast Syria.

La Belle France did not specify which camp they were repatriated from but it thanked the Autonomous Administration of North East Syria (AANES), also known as the Rojava administration, for its cooperation.

Al-Hol camp in Syria’s Hasaka province where the families are kept has been called a ticking time bomb and a "breeding ground" for terrorism, with human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
groups warning of squalid conditions at the camp.
The Kurds stored some of the surrendered ISIS families in Roj camp, though I don’t recall an explanation of who went where.
In June, the Rojava administration announced that it will put on trial foreign ISIS hard boyz currently in its custody, citing the international community’s failure to establish a specialized court to handle these prosecutions and refusal of governments to repatriate their citizens as the main reasons behind their decision.

Macron suggests fines for parents of children caught rioting
[AlAhram] French President Emmanuel Macron raised the idea of handing out quick-fire fines to the parents of children caught committing vandalism or robberies as part of the government's response to days of rioting.
[and jail for the 'children']
Of the nearly 4,000 people arrested since Friday during riots, more than 1,200 are minors, the justice ministry said.

Meeting coppers in Gay Paree on Monday evening, Macron thanked them for their work and floated the idea of speedy punishments for parents who fail to control their children.

"With the first crime, we need to find a way of sanctioning the families financially and easily," he said, according to comments reported by the Gay Pareeien newspaper.

The 45-year-old head of state said it would be "a sort of minimum price for the first screw up".

At the height of the rioting last Friday, Macron had appealed to parents to control their offspring. That followed the arrests of rioters as young as 12 during the breakdown in law and order sparked by police shooting a teenager dead in Gay Paree.

"It's the responsibility of parents to keep them at home," Macron had said. "It's not the state's job to act in their place."

French Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti stressed the same message on Friday and outlined how parents were already legally liable for their children.

He said that parents could already be fined if they failed to accompany their children to a court appearance. They were also financially responsible for any damages awarded to a victim of a crime committed by a child.

Under legal guidance issued by the minister, prosecutors were also reminded of article 227-17 of the penal code, which already enables fines against parents. It authorises fines of up to 30,000 euros ($32,700) and prison terms of up to two years for parents who "fail to uphold, without a legitimate reason, their legal obligations to the extent of compromising the health, the security, the morality and the education of their child".
Since Nahel's death,
..more fully Nahel Merzouk, 17, the precocious French-Algerian known wolf who already had a rap sheet as long as your arm, dear Reader....
the riots have been led by "very young people", moving in small groups and relaying their actions on social networks.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Russian Foreign Ministry on the aggravation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Moscow expressed deep concern over yet another aggravation of the situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in connection with the Israeli operation in the city of Jenin on the West Bank of the Jordan River. This was reported on July 5 by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to incoming reports, as a result of the operation of the Israeli army that began on July 3 in the city of Jenin on the West Bank of the Jordan River, ten Palestinians were killed and more than a hundred people were injured.

The Foreign Ministry noted that the ongoing events in the Palestinian territories once again indicate that the warring parties themselves cannot break out of the vicious circle of violence, resume constructive dialogue, which was interrupted almost a decade ago as a result of the failure of Washington's monopoly role in organizing direct political negotiations. between Israelis and Palestinians on a set of final status issues.

“The current outbreak of violence not only creates additional obstacles to opening the political “horizon” of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, but also seriously threatens regional stability as a whole,” the report says.

As reported by IA Regnum, on the night of July 3, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the start of a large-scale counter-terrorist operation in the West Bank of the Jordan River. The target of the military attack was the headquarters of Palestinian militants in Jenin, which was allegedly used to plan terrorist attacks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas the settlement of the conflict with Israel. The telephone conversation took place on July 1 at the initiative of the Palestinian side. The Russian leader reaffirmed the principled position of the Russian side in favor of a just and sustainable solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the existing international legal basis.

The leaders of the two states expressed their mutual inclination to further progressive development of the traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian relations.

In Jerusalem, Liberia’s president says country means to open embassy in Israel
[IsraelTimes] Liberia’s President George Weah tells Foreign Minister Eli Cohen that his country intends to open an embassy in Israel.

In their meeting in Jerusalem, also attended by Liberian Foreign Minister Dee Maxwell Kemayah, the officials discuss deepening cooperation in energy, water, and agriculture.

At least four eight nine wounded in car ramming, shooting in Tel Aviv
[Jpost] At least nine Israelis were wounded in a combined car-ramming and stabbing on Pinchas Rosen Street in Tel Aviv on Tuesday afternoon.

Footage shared on social media showed the assailant dead at the scene. After running people over, the terrorist got out of the vehicle and reportedly managed to stab one of the victims in the neck. A civilian at the scene shot the terrorist.

MDA paramedics arrived quickly on the scene to treat the wounded, who were subsequently taken to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva and Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

HAMAS: TERROR ATTACK IS A RESPONSE TO JENIN OPERATION
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem praised the attack, saying that "The heroic attack in Tel Aviv is the first response to the occupation's crimes against our people in Jenin." This is in reference to the IDF's ongoing large-scale military operation in the West Bank city of Jenin.

"The occupation will pay the price for its crimes against Jenin. We praise the heroes of our people and the fighters in Jenin."

Israel Police Tel Aviv District Commander Ami Eshed stated that the terrorist was a Palestinian resident of the Hebron region in the West Bank and acted alone, according to an initial police assessment. The terrorist, in his 20s, reportedly got into Israel with a medical permit. The Shin Bet later stated that the attacker has no such permit.

ISRAEL POLICE COMMISSIONER SHABTAI RESPONDS
Israel Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai arrived at the scene and stated that several more arrests connected to the terrorist have been made. "Circumstances are being examined regarding his background and motive, and I would like to praise the activity of the citizen with a lot of courage, that he was able to thwart the attack and prevent the continuation of that terrorist's killing spree."

Hamas says Tel Aviv terrorist a member, doesn’t claim responsibility for attack

[IsraelTimes] Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", claims the Tel Aviv attacker, 20-year old Abed al-Wahab Khalaila, as a member of the terror group, but stops short of claiming responsibility for terror attack.

Hamas also vows in its statement to "continue, escalate and diversify" its Dire Revenge attacks.

Paleostinians have shared photos online that purport to show the attacker.

Ben Gvir says Tel Aviv attack response justifies his push for more guns for civilians

[IsraelTimes] National security minister says terror incident ’proves importance’ of public firearms; opposition leaders condemn attack, join praise for armed passerby who shot the terrorist

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said Tuesday that a terror attack in Tel Aviv vindicated his push to have more Israelis carry guns, after an armed civilian shot and killed the attacker, who injured seven people in a stabbing and ramming spree.

"I congratulate the brave citizen who neutralized the terrorist, cutting the attack short and saving lives," Ben Gvir said on Twitter.

"This again proved the importance and effectiveness of citizens carrying guns," Ben Gvir said. "I call on the public who meet the criteria: carry guns."

Gun control in Israel has traditionally been relatively strict, with licenses generally only granted to those who can show a need for extra security in their line of work or daily life. Citizens in nearly all cases can own a single gun and only 50 bullets at a given time.

Under current guidelines, military service entitles an applicant to a gun license only if they served in combat infantry units.

However,
there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened...
in recent months Ben Gvir has proposed dramatically expanding the criteria to include any veteran of combat service, including those who served in armored and artillery units and the Border Police, along with Hesder yeshiva students — who do a shortened military stint and also spend time studying in yeshiva — and Magen David Adom ambulance service volunteers.

Some 22,000 Israelis have applied for gun licenses in recent months, Channel 12 news reported on Tuesday night, and some 18,000 of the applications have been granted.

As national security minister, Ben Gvir oversees the police force, and the Border Police.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Turkey deports 6 Syrians to Turkish-occupied areas
[NPASyria] Ottoman Turkish authorities deported on Tuesday six Syrians, including two ladies, to Syria through the Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) border crossing north of Hasakah Governorate, northeast Syria.

An exclusive source told North Press that the Ottoman Turkish authorities deported six Syrians, including two ladies, through the Sere Kaniye border crossing, where they were arrested by the Ottoman Turkish-backed Military Police faction of the Syrian National Army (SNA) for verifying their data.

The source added that after arresting the deported Syrians, the Military Police demand they or their families pay ransoms in turn for their release, or they would remain under arrest for "security" allegations.

It noted that since June 21, 15 Syrians and Iraqis, deported from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...

Iran says new vessel will be equipped with hypersonic missiles
Real or the usual Iranian vaporware to frighten the unbelievers?
[Rudaw] Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. on Monday said that its new Damavand-2 frigate will be equipped with hypersonic missiles, with the warship being the latest in Iran’s advancing military capabilities.

The Iranian navy on Saturday said that its northern fleet will receive a Damavand-class frigate in the near future, with the warship being an advanced type of the Jamaran frigate added to the navy in 2014 and having the capabilities to carry helicopters, missiles, torpedoes, modern guns, and air defense weapons, state media reported.

Shahram Irani, rear admiral in the Iranian navy, said that the latest vessel will be equipped with hypersonic missiles as well as the most advanced defense equipment. According to IRNA, the frigate is scheduled to be added to the navy in the "coming days."

In early June, Iran unveiled its first hypersonic ballistic missile, Fattah (conqueror in Persian), with a range of up to 1,400 kilometers and the ability to penetrate all anti-missile systems. The missile is produced by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) aerospace unit.

The Iranian defense ministry in late May unveiled a new ballistic missile with capabilities to strike targets 2,000 kilometers away and carry warheads weighing 1,500 kilograms. The US State Department said in response that Iran’s proliferation of ballistic missiles posed a "serious threat" to the international security.

In July of last year, Iran unveiled its first fleet of naval vessels capable combat drones.

Iran executed 354 people in the first half of 2023: Monitor
[Rudaw] Over 350 people were executed in the first six months of 2023 in Iran, mostly for drug-related charges, a human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
monitor reported on Monday.

"At least 354 people including six women were executed in the first six months of 2023," read the report from the Norway-based Iran

Human Rights (IHR).

IHR says that 206 of the executions were for drug-related charges in "a 126% rise compared to the same period last year."

The Oslo-based organization also reported that 71 (20 percent) of those executed were from the Baluch minority.

Baluchis are a mainly Sunni ethnic minority in Iran, living predominantly in the southeastern Baluchestan region, near the border with Pakistain. The region was also heavily targeted during the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) violent mostly peaceful crackdown on September's nationwide protests. Hundreds of Baluchis were killed by the IRGC during demonstrations in Zaheda and Khash.

According to the monitor, the Iranian officials reported only 43 of the recorded executions which make up only 12 percent of the total.

Iran executed at least 576 people last year, a significant increase from 314 in 2021, making it the country with the second-highest rate of known executions during 2022, according to the annual report from Amnesia Amnesty International.

This year, after last fall's widespread demonstrations and a crackdown on the drug trade, Iran has carried out an alarming number of executions. Amnesty estimated at least 282 people were executed during the first five months of 2023.

"The death penalty
is used to create societal fear and prevent more protests," Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddem, IHR director said.

"The majority of those killed are low-cost victims of the killing machine, drug defendants who are from the most marginalized communities," he added.

In June, Amnesty described the increase in Iran's drug-related executions as a "war on the poor", claiming that it has mainly targeted the country's marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities.
