liberal student activist threatened herself with rape in Facebook hoax, framed conservatives
[CAMPUSREFORM.ORG] A well-known female liberal blogger and radio host at the University of Wyoming (UW) is being accused by police of fabricating a rape threat against herself to appear as if it came from a conservative.
The reward of those who tell lies is not to be believed, quoth Aristotle.
The obscene message directed at activist Meg Lanker-Simons was posted on a college "crush" Facebook page earlier this week and immediately ignited outrage from the college community.
"Help! Help! We're being oppressed!"
"I want to hate f**k Meg Lanker-Simons so hard. That chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn't care who knows it," it read. "I think its hot and it makes me angry. One night with me and shes gonna be a good Republican bitch," the post reads, according to a screenshot.
Us Republicans talk like that all the time. Most of us are illiterate, y'know. My knuckles have big callouses on them from dragging.
Before the post was removed, Lanker-Simons commented on it and on her own blog, calling it "disgusting, misogynistic, and apparently something the admins of this page think is a perfectly acceptable sentiment."
"They're comin' to get me and do you care? No, you don't care!"
She also encouraged the poster to seek help at the UW Counseling service and ends with the advice: "Instead of focusing on how angry and turned on me 'running my mouth' makes you, perhaps you should listen instead. You might learn something."
The voice of sweet reason. And what did we learn?
But on Monday, The University of Wyoming Police Department issued a citation to Lanker-Simons for "interference" for "false statements she made to the UW Police Department," according to a UW statement referred to by Laramie Boomerang Online.
Oh. We learned that she was an attention whore. Tut.
"Subject admitted to making a controversial post on UW Crushes webpage and then lied about not doing it," according to the citation.
"No, no! It wudn't me!"
The University of Wyoming also confirmed a statement that the police had ""obtained substantial evidence verifying that the offending Facebook post came from Lanker-Simons' computer, while the computer was in her possession."
"Well, yeah. It wuz my computer, but I didn't tell it to do that! I never knew it wuz a Republican! I'da set fire to it!"
According to a Facebook page that apparently belongs to Lanker-Simons she is a member of the University of Wyoming Gender & Women's Studies group as well as the school's chapter of The Nonviolent Communist.
Do tell. That comes as such a surprise.
Since police cited her, supporters have a constructed a Facebook page entitled "Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent."
Of course she is.
"Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent we believe what she did was justified and deserves not to be held accountable for her accusations we stand behind you sister," reads that page's description.
"She's innocent! And it wuz justified! And besides, she wuz out of her head! Driven there by Neanderthalic Rethuglicans in contusion with her computer!"
Lanker-Simons was in the news in 2010 when she was a plaintiff in a successful lawsuit against UW after it retracted its invitation to have Bill Ayers speak on campus.
"Ain't nobuddy can tell me whut to do!"

#5  From James Taranto: “Oppression of minorities, and certainly of women, scarcely exists in America in the 21st century. Genuine hate crimes happen, but they are very rare. Few societies in history have offered more security to the previously downtrodden. But the presence of security only makes the need for identity and stimulation more pressing. Hate-crime hoaxes are an extreme way of meeting those needs.”

Two removed from Saudi diplomatic mansion in McLean after human trafficking accusations
[WTOP] Two domestic workers have been removed from a diplomatic mansion in McLean following accusations they were being held like slaves.

The gated compound on Orris Street is owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Armed Forces Office, according to real estate records.

A spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tells WTOP agents responded to the home Tuesday night and removed the two possible victims of domestic servitude.

However, ICE says the workers were removed to protect their safety if in fact the accusations turn out to be true and the investigation isn't complete.

Vehicles with diplomatic license plates were seen coming and going from the compound Wednesday, but no one there would comment.

Frances Roller, who lives near the compound, says a defense attaché lives there.

Giant Rubber Duck Sails into Hong Kong
[An Nahar] An inflatable bright yellow rubber duck six storeys high sailed into Hong Kong harbor on Thursday to the cheers of hundreds of people who gathered to watch the classic bathtime-inspired artistic creation.

The 16.5-meter-tall (54-feet) artwork, conceived by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, dwarfed other craft as it was towed past the city's iconic skyline by a tugboat a fraction of its size.

Since 2007 the duck has traveled to 13 different cities in nine countries ranging from Brazil to Australia in its journey around the world.

Peggy Shieh, 28, made a special trip from Taiwan to see the duck after she learned about it on Facebook. "It takes me back to my childhood memories," she said.

People began queuing from as early as 6 am for a chance to buy a miniature replica. Kathy Cheung, who was second in line, took half a day off work to ensure she got her piece of art history.

"I think it's the first and last time I will see a rubber duck in Hong Kong. It has a message for peace but for me it's just fun," she said.

Hofman said he hopes the duck, which will stay till June 9, will act as a "catalyst" for connecting people to public art.

"It's about connecting people... don't take life for granted, your urban space for granted. You walk every day the same route to work, but look and stop going too fast," he said.

Egyptian prosecutors question comedian over jokes on El-Bernameg
[Al Ahram] Khaled Mansour, a standup comedian on Bassem Youssef's El-Bernameg show, was questioned by prosecutors on Thursday morning.

Mansour, who is accused of insulting the president and insulting religion, was released on LE5,000 bail.

Bassem Youssef, Egypt's most prominent satirist, said on Wednesday via Twitter that Mansour would be questioned over a segment in the sixth episode of El-Bernameg that mocked President Morsi's allegedly ostentatious appearances at mosques for Friday prayers.

The Morsi government is "a failure and pathetic. It cannot handle a comedy show except through legal investigations," Youssef added in a separate tweet on Thursday.

In late March 2013, Youssef was interrogated by prosecutors for allegedly insulting the president and religion. He was released on bail of LE15,000.

Mansour is the second standup comedian to be questioned after appearing on El-Bernameg.

Ali Qandil was questioned by prosecutors in early April for allegedly insulting religion during an appearance on the show.

Egypt court orders Morsi's children attend US citizenship revocation hearing
[Al Ahram] Egypt's Supreme Administrative Court's State Commissioners Authority on Thursday ordered that President Mohamed Morsi's son and daughter attend the hearing on a lawsuit demanding the revocation of their US citizenship.

This comes as part of a lawsuit filed in 2012 by Attorney Mohamed Salem --following Morsi's presidential election--to force his two children to renounce their US citizenship, which they acquired at birth in the 1980's when Morsi was a professor.

The state commissioners postponed the hearing until 30 May and issued a LE400 fine to the head of Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs judicial department for delaying the document coordination process with the US State Department.

A similar case filed by lawyer Tarek Mahmoud in 2012 argued that their passport can be a means by which the US can conspire against Egypt.

#1  Both Morsi and his PM Qandil were educated in the US.

Some of Morsi's children are anchor babies US citizens, perhaps some or all of Qandil's children are as well.

The Morsi government's official posture vis-a-vis the US if far more hostile than the Soviet Union's was.

Egypt does not fully recognize the US as a sovereign entity.

Direct exposure to and immersion in Western culture and civilization has created enemies, not friends. To know the West is not to love the West.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to curtail such opportunities for direct contact in the future.

Tunisia Dean 'Acquitted of Veiled Woman Assault'
[An Nahar] The Tunisian university dean accused of slapping a veiled female student said he was acquitted on Thursday, in a case that has come to symbolize bristling tensions between Islamists and secularists.

Habib Kazdaghli said "Tunisian justice acquitted me," adding that his accuser and another female student on trial for having sacked his office at Manouba University outside Tunis had been given a suspended two-month sentence.

There was not yet an official confirmation of the dean's acquittal, but Agence La Belle France Presse obtained a copy of the judgement regarding the women. It said they had been convicted of attacking the property of another and of interfering with a public servant carrying out his duties.

Kazdaghli faced a possible five-year jail term if convicted of "violence committed by a public employee while performing his duties," in a trial that has gripped Tunisia for months.

"I am relieved that this story has ended; it's a relief for Tunisia, because the attempts to attack the modernity of the university have failed," he said.

The case dates back to March 2012, when Kazdaghli says two female students wearing the full face veil, or niqab, ransacked his office.

One of the women, who had been barred from the faculty for wearing the niqab in class, accused the dean of slapping her, charges he denied.

The case, whose verdict had been repeatedly delayed, has been widely criticized by the teaching establishment, civil society groups and leftist opposition parties, who accuse the government led by Islamist party Ennahda of seeking to Islamize society.

DR Congo Rebels Demand Ceasefire before New Talks
[An Nahar] The M23 rebel movement active in the troubled east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material...
said Thursday it would only resume peace talks if the government signs up to a ceasefire.

M23 political leader Bertrand Bisimwa told Agence La Belle France Presse that DR Congo government forces and the Hutu rebel group the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) were advancing on two fronts "and we don't know what their intentions are."

"Our delegation will return to Kampala if -- and only if -- the government agrees to sign a ceasefire with us immediately, " he said.

The M23, which has been fighting the army in the volatile east since May last year, triggered a new crisis in November when it occupied the key town of Goma for more than a week before withdrawing under regional mediation.

The group's ultimatum Thursday came shortly after a visit by the new U.N. special envoy for Africa's Great Lakes region, former Irish president Mary Robinson.

Robinson, who is on a regional tour leading political efforts to bring an end to more than two decades of conflict in the mineral-rich region, on Tuesday voiced "shock" over the scale of human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
abuses there.

The United Nations
...an international organization whose stated aim of facilitating interational security involves making sure that nobody with live ammo is offended unless it's a civilized country...
brokered a February peace accord signed by 11 African states and the following month the Security Council approved the creation of a new brigade to help the U.N. mission in DR Congo.

Under the accord, the 11 states vowed not to interfere in the affairs of their neighbors, and DR Congo President Joseph Kabila promised democratic advances and improved security.

The M23, which Kinshasa and a panel of U.N. experts say was created as a Rwandan proxy, is accused of a number of rights abuses and has been slapped with U.N. sanctions.

4 killed in Chad coup attempt
[Bangla Daily Star] At least four people were killed in a shootout in the Chadian capital in what authorities said was a plot against President Idriss Deby's government, security sources said on Thursday.

Chad has a long history of political instability and Deby himself led rebel troops into the capital N'Djamena in 1990 to seize power. But the landlocked nation started producing oil a decade ago and Deby, who has won four elections, has become an ally of the West against Islamist faceless myrmidons in the region.

"Between four and eight people were killed in fighting at a military barracks in the east of N'Djamena," said a police source, asking not to be identified. The clash took place late on Wednesday.

A military officer said at least a dozen people had been killed in separate festivities in a residential neighbourhood, adding that a list of future government officials had also been discovered there -- implying evidence of a coup plot.

Chad Communications Minister Hassan Sylla Bakary told state radio there had been "an attempt to destabilise the state". He said earlier that a small group had been conspiring for months, but gave no details of who was involved.

The streets of the capital were calm by midday on Thursday with banks and shops open. Residents clustered around radio sets on street corners, or watched television in cafes.

The sources said security forces had made several arrests within the army and had tossed in the slammer
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
at least one opposition member of parliament, Saleh Maki.

Deby sent about 2,000 troops to Mali this year to help drive out Islamist fighters who had seized the northern two-thirds of the country, earning him the gratitude of La Belle France which spearheaded the military campaign there.

The intervention, as well as a decision not to defend the president of neighbouring Central African Republic from a rebel takeover in March, highlighted Deby's position as a regional power broker. But he has plenty of enemies at home and abroad.

The UFR, a Chadian rebel coalition that laid down its weapons in 2010, warned in March that it would relaunch its rebellion after Deby failed to enter talks with it.

Last week Deby accused neighbouring Libya of letting Chadian mercenaries set up a training camp on its soil for use in trying to destabilise his country, a charge Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
denied.

Residents in N'Djamena, where Deby narrowly survived a rebel offensive in 2008, remained in the dark about the latest events.

"We'd like to get more information about this group the government has said was behind the plot," said Khamis Mahamat, a trader.

Australia smashes South Korean spy ring: report
[Pak Daily Times] A South Korean spy ring has been uncovered in Australia trying to cultivate public servants to obtain trade secrets, a report said Thursday.

The Sydney Morning Herald said previously suppressed information revealed that South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS) had sought "to obtain sensitive information" on trade negotiations between Canberra and Seoul. The Herald reported that the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) alleged that a senior Australian agricultural trade specialist was involved in "foreign interference" by the Korean spies and had been "successfully cultivated".

The man, named by the newspaper, participated in Australia-South Korea free trade agreement talks in late 2009 but lost his security clearance and job with the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences.

Although engaged in what ASIO described as "inappropriate activities" harmful to Australia's interests, no South Korean spies had been expelled from Australia.

'Minority seats being traded by political parties'
[Pak Daily Times] Civil society organizations termed the minorities' representation in upcoming general elections as inappropriate, further alleging that the reserved seats for minorities are being sold out at hefty prices to affluent individuals.

These views were expressed during a presser by Dr Sonu Kangrani of Pakistain Dalit Solidarity Network, Zahid Farooq of Urban Resource Centre and others at Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
Press Club (KPC), here on Thursday. The went on to explain that there are total 342 National Assembly seats, in which only 10 seats are reserved for minorities whereas only 4 out of 104 Senate seats are allocated for the minority groups.

The speakers informed that major political parties have nominated 71 minority members for the reserved seats and all seats are reportedly sold against donations. It has been learnt that a few affluent individuals belonging to minority groups have bought these seats at Rs 80 million each, they alleged. One should not expect any empathy for minority issues in such circumstances where parliaments' seats are bought and sold, they added. In this way minorities will remain to be deprived of actual representation in the electoral process.

According to the Election Commission; there are only 2.78 million registered voters within the minority groups. The civil society leaders said that this discrimination and social imbalance towards minorities has been clearly visible in a study conducted by Pakistain Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER). For the purpose of the study 50 interviews and four focused group discussions were conducted in Sindh and Punjab areas where minority representation is seen most.

Pentagon upgrades 'Bunker Buster' bomb in attempt to penetrate key Iran nuke site
The Pentagon has reportedly upgraded its "bunker buster bomb" in what officials say is a critical step in convincing Israel the U.S. has the ability to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons if diplomacy fails.

The Wall Street Journal reports the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or BFB MOP, has been fortified with advanced features that are meant to enable it to destroy Iran's most fortified nuclear site.

The paper reports U.S. officials have demonstrated an earlier version of the bomb's capabilities to Israeli leaders several times recently by showing them a video of the bomb hitting its target in high-altitude testing.

Pentagon officials view the development of the weapon as critical to convincing Israel it can rely on the U.S. to stop Iran from developing nukes, and that the Israeli military cannot do so on its own.

5th Generation F-35 Stealth Fighter Makes Headway
F-35 Lighting II, the future jet, will give the U.S. the capability to fly into enemy space first and attack a target with precision weapons at long ranges to clear the way for further forces -- without ever being detected.

Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II is a 5th-generation stealth fighter developed to safely penetrate areas without enemy radar seeing them -- an enhanced degree of “invisibility” that the 4th generation cannot achieve. Last Friday, the U.S. Marine Corps' VMFAT-501 training squadron in Florida’s Eglin AFB launched its first F-35B eight-ship, flew a mission, hot-pit refueled and went back up again.

This mission is the latest in a series of promising steps forward for the F-35.

Last month, the stealth fighter also had its landmark first short takeoff and vertical landing during a night mission. The test provided further data on the fighter’s special helmet and lighting in operations at night.

Since the program kicked off in the early 1990s, the F-35 development has been bombarded with criticism varying from targeting as the Pentagon’s most expensive equipment through to concerns voiced in a Pentagon Operational Test and Evaluation Office that the fighter could not fly near thunderstorms or risk the jet’s fuel tank exploding.

So, this can't be done by cruise missiles? /rhet question

Central Planning. Seems to destroy whole governments and economies better than any other manmade devised system to date outside of history's usual marauding and looting outsiders.

Poll: 29% of Registered Voters Believe Armed Revolution Might Be Necessary in Next Few Years
h/t Instapundit
Twenty-nine percent of registered voters think that an armed revolution might be necessary in the next few years in order to protect liberties, according to a Public Mind poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The poll, which surveyed 863 registered voters and had a margin of error of +/-3.4, focused on both gun control and the possibility of a need for an armed revolution in the United States to protect liberty.

#4  Didn't work out so well for the uprisers.

Who were intent on retaining involuntary servitude and the plantation system, which today is the hallmark of the Democratic Socialist Party. Remember you can stuff ballot boxes all day long, but when the guns come out, it's those who are willing to give the last full measure of devotion that truly count. I don't see the takers willingly putting themselves in harms way to keep the Kleptocracy in power. Their thugs and husks bully boys maybe, but most of their base will avoid the risk. The Politburo was a bit surprised when their system collapsed as well when no one came to defend it.

#5  Key word is might. Not at all the same as planning for it...or building pressure cooker bombs for use at the next big community celebration in order to bring about the desired outcome. And honestly, without a comparison to previous years, this poll number is fairly meaningless.
Posted by: trailing wife || 05/03/2013 12:06 Comments || Top||

#6  It isn't entirely meaningless. I would say the percentage is higher if more people would be honest.

What it does mean is more and more people are coming to the realization that there is going to be a fight.

At this point it isn't if, it's when.

#7  29% admit armed revolution might be necessary; probably another 21% think so but won't admit it, and the other half are oblivious to everything. I suspect a big problem is that many of the potential revolutionaries will want a more collectivist system rather than a more individualist system, leading to a civil war as much as a revolution.
Posted by: Glenmore || 05/03/2013 13:02 Comments || Top||

#8  The problem is the percent on the left that believe armed revolution might be necessary want to take out Tea Party types, not the government.

#9  It is not the registered voters Washington and socialist communist progressives need to concern themselves with since mst voters can not show up every two years and vote.

They should be more concerned what the military and ex-military think about grabbing a gun and pointing it at the crooks turning America into a third world country. Remember one thing about third world countries, they have the tendencies to reboot every generation or two.

#10  Regardless of what percentage of Americans share the desire to throw off the present rule by collectivist "takers", I fear that nothing much will ever happen - for the simple reason that the patriotic "restorationists" (with respect to rule as outlined in the US Constitution) realize that - were they to successfully wrest power from the ruling cabal - they would become proud owners of 100 million useless, inhabitants ("takers"), addicted to dependency.

Even the most fervent patriots have no idea what to do with countless millions of examples of non-performing human detritus. Merely feeding and watering this useless herd of potted plants would continue to consume massive amounts of capital - which would still have to be generated by the productive portion of society.

The restorationists are good people - who are unlikely to be able to accept the only realistic answer - which would be extermination camps that would dwarf the efforts of Nazi Germany.

So - the productive few cannot take action to fix the current problem before it consumes them. They simply aren't brutal enough. Instead, they must simply wait for the inevitable collapse of the current system - and the anarchy that will result - and simply allow natural selection to cull the herd.

Let's just hope that "Idiocracy" does not become the model for what comes next.

That will happen during a war/civil disruption that interrupts the flow of energy, food, clean water into the urban areas and waste out. As soon as the waste piles up in the urban areas, the vermin and pestilent carriers soon follow. There are too many urban areas and too little government resources to handle more than a couple at any one time in current natural disaster response - see Katrina and Sandy.

#14  "Even the most fervent patriots have no idea what to do with countless millions of examples of non-performing human detritus."

I've got a pretty good idea, LR. Defund ANY AND ALL federal departments and laws that are not expressly authorized to the federal government by the Constitution.

Get rid of Health, Education, and Welfare for a start - those functions are "reserved to the States, or to the people."

Then the takers are the states' problems. If states want to tax their few makers to buy the votes of the takers, they will soon find themselves without the taxes from the makers. And the feds won't be able to "ride to the rescue," as that function is NOT in the Constitution.

I'd pay good money to watch that show. ;-p

#16  The DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND Blog is going gaga over the statistic that 44% of Republicans believe the same.

Our dear leaders in Washington know that a post-2015, "borderless" Amerika suborned under OWG + Global Fed "Unions" may ...

> Change or negate the Constitution.
> Fundamentally alter the American way of Life, Economy, Character + Identity.
> Alter or negate US "national" sovereignty.
> Americans = Amerikans may have to adhere to the excutive decisions/actions + policies of OWG GFU Leaders whom are NOT American andor have little or no ties to America, + have no Allegiance to America.

YET, KNOWING ALL THE ABOVE + OTHER, THE POLS STILL WANT TO COMMIT AMERICA + AMERICAN PEOPLE TO IT ANYWAY - "WHUT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG"!?

* FYI FREEREPUBLIC > [US Senator John]SESSIONS: 57.0MILYUHN NEW PEOPLE COULD ENTER AMERICA, COMPETE FOR JOBS, iff the so-called "Gang of Eight" bill passes.

* GUARDIAN.UK > US FEDERAL RESERVE BLAMES CONGRESS SEQUESTER CUTS ["Fiscal Policies"]FOR US ECONOMIC WOES.

* DEFENCE.K/FORUMS > [NYT] CHINA MILITARY POWER ALMOST EQUAL TO USA IN EAST ASIA | CHINA SEEN AS NEARING US MILITARY POWER IN REGION.

RELATED YAHOO NEWS > THE GLOBAL POWER VACUUM IS EXPANDING.

ARTIC = "DON'T LOOK TO [Bammer-led]WASHINGTON" for help = salvation? in a "GLOBAL-ZERO/G-ZERO" WORLD.

* DEMOCRATIC UNDERGOUND > [Daily Beast] THIS ISN'T OBAMA MALAISE, ITS GOP INTRANSIGENCE.

> [Yahoo News] RAND PAUL: THE NEXT + LAST GOP NOMINEE, for POTUS???
> [Bloomberg] GORE SAYS CONGRESS SWAYED BY [mucho = excessive] POLITICAL MONIES/DOLLARS, NOT VOTERS. US Congress incapable of doing anything the Voters = US Electorate wants or would like to see done.

* DEFENCE.PK/FORUMS > [IDRW.org] CHINA RISKS WAR IN TERRITORIAL PUSH ON THREE FRONTS | CHINA RISKS WAR IFF IT PUSHES TERRITORIAL CLAIMS IN ASIA.

* WORLD NEWS > [Foreign Policy] PENTAGON DETERMINES THAT NORTH KOREA WON'T QUIT. DPRK = Pudgy to inversely pursue intensified dev of NucWeaps + "small wars" strategies as it gets steadily weaker.

* DRUDEGREPORT > [Federal News Radio] DEFENSE DEPT. CLAIMS SEQUESTRATION ALREADY AFFECTING NAVY, MARINE CORPS READINESS.

China is getting ready to militarily challenge US Power-n-Influence in Asia-Pacific - right now, IMO we are in a temporary lull because China + PLA Boyz are still analyzing POTUS Obama, espec as per how the crushing-n-still-to-be-expanded US Debt Burden will affect the US = Bammer response any Chinese Military or MilPol moves.

DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBTS THAT WHEN CHINA IS READY, IT W-I-L-L OPEN FIRE ON JAPAN [East China Sea], ASEAN [South China Sea], INDIA, ETC.

Iff China refuses to back down, to avoid a US-China limited or full mil nuclear conflict WILL THE BAMMER MILITARILY DEFEND THE US' OVERSEAS ALLIES, or WILL THE BAMMER [PDeniably] CLAIM THE US CAN'T AFFORD TO INTERVENE ON BEHALF OF ITS ALLIES VEE "HE KEPT THE US OUT OF WAR/NUCLEAR WAR", ala pre-WW1 POTUS Woodrow Wilson???

Avoiding war does always equate to maintenance of military or geopol strength + global status.

Collectively, China wants Guam + Hawaii for PLA Milbases, + 1/2 of CONUS-NORAM for "living space"; while the Hard Boyz on their part profess to want their Islamic/Islamist flag to fly over the White House = US [does China know?].

MAINSTREAM AMERS HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING IFF THEY THINK THE US CAN ABANDON OVERSEAS ALLIES + EXPAND THE US DEBT BURDEN TO NEW HEIGHTS + WHILE STILL EXPECTING TO REMAIN THE WORLD'S "SOLE/
ONLY" SUPERPOWER, OR TO STAY AS SAME.
