#3  Now I understand.

All of Bill Ayers buddies now work for Mother Jones.
Posted by: Bill Clinton || 05/03/2013 13:21 Comments || Top||

#4  Pretty remarkable slight of hand. They have managed to demonize an entire class of people who had nothing to do with the attack. As a special bonus they are also claiming that Islam had nothing to do with it.

It's pretty much a 'what color is the sky on your planet' situation.

Food for thought — where would those imprisoned and hungry at Guantanamo go?
Posted by: tipper || 05/03/2013 04:54 || Comments || Link || [1 views] Top|| File under:

#1  Bravo. Exactly.

Though it might be worthwhile to send the Yemeni prisoners back to Yemen, so long as they're put into the loving care of the Yemeni military.

#2  Food for thought -- where would those imprisoned and hungry at Guantanamo go?

Chumming?

#3  IF by chumming you mean 'used as chum' I support the suggestion.

#7  No one wants them.

They can't go home, because they would be put UNDER the dungeon.

Not one state would allow them to be imprisoned there.

If they were put in a Federal prison, some would become a terrorist magnet for a zillion plots and hostage situations seeking their release...maybe Bill Ayers would stage a hunger strike?

No one wants them so they stay where they are unless we can talk the Russians into taking them.

It’s the Saudi Corruption, Stupid!
Posted by: tipper || 05/03/2013 00:47 || Comments || Link || [1 views] Top|| File under:

#1  I've not found anything new in this article. My gut feeling is Mr. al-Harbi may have been a KSA intelligence agent trailing the Tsarnaev bros.
Posted by: Besoeker || 05/03/2013 2:10 Comments || Top||

#3  The article by Frank Gaffney at the Washington Times, quoted by Mr. Quick, is worth reading in detail.

Mr. Quick and I have had our tiffs (on his blog) regarding politics, but in the WoT, he and I are on the same side. The Saudi connection stinks and has for a long, long time.

#4  Here are part I and part II of the Diana West articles on Adbul Rahman al-Harbi.

I'm not sure she connects all the dots, but she sure does nudge them rather closely together.

Why are Buddhist monks attacking Muslims?
Posted by: tipper || 05/03/2013 11:15 || Comments || Link || [1 views] Top|| File under:

#1  IMO, the sign that monk holds, says it all.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru || 05/03/2013 12:05 Comments || Top||

#2  The article is a bunch of leftist drivel, it even slips in a couple of digs at Christianity.

Of course the article says nary a word about the horrific track record of Moslems toward believers of other religion. I for one am completely fed up with this bull shit of making excuses for terrorism and trotting out every response to that intimidation and terror as something awful.

Just another piece of crap from a useful idiot lefty with no clue or historical understanding of which he writes.

No mention either of the Taliban blowing up those 2,000 year old Buddhist relics in Afghanistan either. I wanted to riot in the streets over that.

Burning a mosque, that's nothing compared to what the Moslems do to Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, and Hebrews.

Good riddance, I hope the monks burn the whole country to the ground.
Posted by: Bill Clinton || 05/03/2013 13:07 Comments || Top||

#3  I feel like a fucking broken record.

BUT...

Britain more-or-less betrayed the Shan and other mountain peoples in Burma by denying them independence from Burma when Burma split off from the British Empire.

This was a gross injustice to people who sided with Britain in the fight against Japan, and who have suffered, for the most part, a slow-motion ethnic cleansing for most of the last half-century.

But now they're shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that the Burmese government is oppressive to ethnic minorities?

This wasn't anything _new_, it's just a different choice of victim than the usual ones.

#4  Britain more-or-less betrayed the Shan and other mountain peoples in Burma

The Shan, one of many betrayed I'm afraid. To be fair, the UK has had plenty of assistance from their colonial cousins I might add.

ACLU: Radical Islam Is NOT Linked To Terrorism

#1  ACLU not connected to this world?

#2  ACLU is not linked to anything truthful.
Posted by: CrazyFool || 05/03/2013 8:16 Comments || Top||

#3  The ACLU exists in a separate universe that intersects with ours on very rare occasions [that's when the usual sources of funding start to dry up and they need attention/alternate sources to sustain their long term agenda].

#4  All Communist Lies Union is in support of anti-liberty jihad.

Posted by: Rob Crawford || 05/03/2013 8:25 Comments || Top||

#5  Yeah, perhaps Radical Islam is too fine a distinction. Perhaps its just plain Islam.
Posted by: rjschwarz || 05/03/2013 8:30 Comments || Top||

#6  Then came Boston and the Tsarneavs to import some good, old-fashioned Mohammedan Chechan rage and demolish their thesis.
Posted by: KBK || 05/03/2013 10:05 Comments || Top||

#7  rjscjwarz is,I think, correct

what the newspapers sometimes call 'radical islam' is simply one of several forms of mainstream islam

FBI Adds Bill Ayers’ Pal Joanne Chesimard To Most Wanted Terrorist List
Yeah, because last week somebody pointed out that the list was solid muslims. So they drag up an old hippie terrorist bomber from the 70s and add her in. They’ve known for 30 years exactly where she is too.
Posted by: tipper || 05/03/2013 01:21 || Comments || Link || [5 views] Top|| File under:

#1  One must wonder if the FBI has hired a PR firm.
Posted by: Besoeker || 05/03/2013 2:52 Comments || Top||

#2  That they know where she is and that she's an old hippie doesn't change the fact that she should be on the list. She is indeed a terrorist. Lest it be forgotten, she gunned down a New Jersey police officer in cold blood during a routine traffic stop.

If we had a CIA with any stones they would pinch her, fly her back to the US, truss her and dump her on the front steps of a US federal courthouse with a big sign attached.

#3  CIA clandestine operations and invasions of Cuba don't enjoy a very good track record.

#4  A drone overhead should be in her future. Don't count on that from Obama, Holder and his camp followers in DOJ, though. They'd say "the police acted stupidly"

Perchance, Billy and Bernadine have a bunch of lefty anti-American buddies in high places?

#8  There's a million-dollar reward. It would cost at least a quarter (more like half) of that to get her out of Cuba.
Posted by: Pappy || 05/03/2013 15:20 Comments || Top||

#9  why get her out?. Terminate in place

#11  Although thinking of the date... she probably forgot to send a May Day card.
Posted by: Thing From Snowy Mountain || 05/03/2013 15:37 Comments || Top||

#12  why get her out?. Terminate in place

Because it might give Fidel a stroke if she's taken?

Option B probably would still cost a quarter of the reward.

#13  The feds have to put a domestic terrorist on the list to fit the narrative.
