Kerry in Israel on Eve of Obama Visit
[An Nahar] U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Israel Tuesday and was expected to attend some meetings a day ahead of President Barack Obama's milestone visit, U.S. officials said.

"The secretary is in Israel, in advance of the president's arrival," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters in Washington.

She added Kerry was expected to "have a meeting or two, in preparation for the president's arrival" but added the "schedule was being worked out."

Nuland did not confirm however Israeli media reports that Kerry, who will accompany Obama on his three-day trip and travel together to Jordan, would then return to Jerusalem on Saturday to push for renewed peace talks.

Haaretz daily said Kerry would have dinner with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday night to sound him out on the prospects of reviving peace efforts with the Palestinians.

"Kerry wants to hear Netanyahu and... president Mahmoud Abbas express their willingness to participate and say what measures they are willing to take to move forward," Haaretz said.

#1  "Now, I am a person of the ocean. A sea man, if you will. Why, I love it so much I figured out a way to not have my dinghe taxed in years, and still manage to wax it daily. You can tell that I am no ordinary uneducated soldier..I was in Vietnam, you know..because if you sit down and think about it, like I have, why is this planet not named Ocean?! I mean, like, it is 2/3rds covered in water."

Obama’s limo, ‘The Beast,’ breaks down before his arrival
US President Barack Obama’s official limousine, dubbed “The Beast,” broke down after its driver refueled it using unleaded gasoline instead of diesel, an official said Wednesday. It’s said to only run on diesel fuel.

According to Fox News, the limo failed to start, and was towed in Jerusalem at 10 a.m. Obama, who landed at Ben-Gurion International airport in the afternoon, was not in the country at the time the vehicle broke down.

A second presidential limo was brought to transport Obama from the airport.
Imagine the comments if that happened to George Bush.

#1  Say the headline "Obama limo breaks down. Used wrong fuel." Was playing count the metaphors.

#2  Can't even fail right; last time they eff'd up he at least got to go to the bar, remember? "I've never had Guinness before, but this tastes so much better than it does in the states!" Must've had his official taster with him then. Didn't even need his fake mustauchio; you know like he would in Israel.

#6  As per CHRISTINA + ARGENTINA + GOVT.AIR, perhaps "the Beast" was made to look like it broke down so that International = Chinese debt collectors won't confiscate = "repossess" it???

** BREAKING NEWS ** > CHINA CLAIMS TODAY THAT IT SENT COVERT PLA COMMANDO TEAMS TO ISRAEL TO STEAL POTUS OBAMA'S OFFICIAL LIMO DUE TO FAILURE TO PAY US DEBT OBLIGATIONS TO CHINA IN A TIMELY MANNER.

#8  Pumping and purging benzine from leased diesel powered MB's is a cottage industry in Germany, and you must pay for disposal of the contaminated fuel as well. Entire process, start to finish... just under 2.5 hours. Cost about 500 Euro... so I am told :-(

Facebook photo of boy holding gun brought social workers to home

#1  "They said they wanted to see into my safe and see if my guns were registered," Moore said. "I said no; in New Jersey, your guns don't have to be registered with the state; it's voluntary. I knew once I opened that safe, there was no going back."

"I don't like what happened," he said. "You're not even safe in your own house. If they can just show up at any time and make you open safes and go through your house, that's not freedom; it's like tyranny."

Amen sir. It is tyranny, plain and simple. Long past time to push back to an overreaching and tyrannical government.

#2  Each and every single "Social Worker" (By whatever name ) Should be fired forever.

That's the only way to STOP this, permanently.

#3  Another "It's for the children" moment. That's the current phrase for stripping adults of fundamental rights. Right up there with "social justice". Note that unlike a hundred years + of legal precedent of the "right to face one's accuser", the state falls back on keeping the anonymity of the caller. That defense should be dropped as quickly as it take any rational person [I know that excludes bureaucrats] to realize they've used to push someone's agenda.

#10  Several of the comments talk about kids being shot by police because they're playing with an Air-soft gun.

SINCE WHEN HAS IT BECOME SOP FOR COPS TO SHOOT KIDS FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION???

I have the feeling that with the militarization of the police they have become more cowardly and more trigger happy. The cop's response to any situation should NOT be to shoot first.
