[TimesOfIndia] SRINAGAR: Pakistan-based terrorists are planning to target the Amarnath Yatra Pointless pilgrimage made by idiots every year, who have to be protected more from themselves and nature than jihadis.
in the Kashmir Valley but security forces are up to the task to foil any such design, the army said on Friday.
General officer commanding of Army's 15 Corps Lt General KJS Dhillon's statement came after searches in the past few days by security forces led to the recovery of a Pakistan-made mine and a huge cache of arms from along the Amarnath Yatra route. The Corps commander said Pakistan and its army were desperate to disrupt peace in Kashmir Valley.
"Last three to four days, we were getting specific and confirmed intelligence inputs that terrorists led by Pakistan and Pakistan Army are trying to target the Shri Amarnathji yatra which is going on," Dhillon told a joint press conference with Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbagh Singh here.
What was found stashed in the cave : IEDs and related equipment, an AP mine with a proud 'Pakistani Ordnance' etched on it, serials indicating the manufacture is recent. An M-24 rifle with Leupold scope, several rounds of ammo. Additionally, a makeshift hide had been set up on an elevated position overlooking a pilgrim route. There were indentations in the rock skirting along the route itself in places, where it appeared dirt and rock had been dug out, so as to make space for big bangs later. If a thorough inspection of the route had been skipped, unsuspecting crowds of people would have been blown up and the stragglers picked off before the plastic and stamped steel wielding security forces could react.
First cup of coffee, reading some schadenfreudilicious news - enjoy!
[Pew Research via Drudge]- Layoffs continue to pummel U.S. newspapers. Roughly a quarter of papers with an average Sunday circulation of 50,000 or more experienced layoffs in 2018, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis.
The layoffs come on top of the roughly one-third of papers in the same circulation range that experienced layoffs in 2017. What’s more, the number of jobs typically cut by newspapers in 2018 tended to be higher than in the year before.
Mid-market newspapers were the most likely to suffer layoffs in 2018 ‐ unlike in 2017, when the largest papers most frequently saw cutbacks. Meanwhile, digital-native news outlets also faced continued layoffs: In 2018, 14% of the highest-traffic digital-native news outlets went through layoffs, down slightly from one-in-five in 2017. So it looks like the NYT, WaPo, Boston Globe, et. al. weathered the storm better last year than in 2017, which means it may turn back this year. Good riddance, Fake News Democrats!

Well it is a disturbing trend. Many people don't read the papers or listen to the news. Well they have done this to themselves. So negative and biased. Yes, and digital has not panned out also. Couldn't have happen to a nicer group of people. Remember Southern Living and Life. Too expensive and tremendous losses. I can't tell you the fix but the patient is on life support.

Now this;"Young people have fled terrestrial radio. The medium now brings in less revenue than streaming platforms. People purchase smart speakers to listen to “better music.” So, will radio go the way of the dodo?".
#4
Dale - the local terrestrial radio environment here in Boston's been seriously downhill over the past decade. We lost WBCN (hard rock) and WFNX (alternative), lost WODS (oldies / Motown) in that span, WBOS used to be a watered-down version of WFNX, then they switched to 'classic rock', but we already have WZLX for that, and WAAF (hard rock & metal) isn't as good as it once was. I could go on, but you get the picture. It's a real shit sandwich.
#5
Raj, the AM & FM stations around here are getting bought up by National/International companies like IHeart, Westwood and the like.
Content suffers afterwards and may be the issue by you, too.
I've always been suspicious of centralized media. They can 'inject' whatever content that fits their philosophy. Kind of like 'All-Union Radio' (Всесоюзное радио).

[Right Scoop] The complete backwardness of our society is on display in the relationship of Bruce "Caitlyn" Jenner and his new boyfriend who is also a transgender. They are calling it a ’lesbian’ relationship and they want to have a baby together so they can both be ’moms’
Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly feeling so broody that she is considering using a surrogate to become a mum at the age of 70.
She is currently in a relationship with 22-year-old Sophia Hutchens, who is also transgender.
The couple’s relationship has gone from strength to strength since they were first spotted together in 2017, although the pair have never officially confirmed their romance.
Speaking to Closer magazine, a source said: "Caitlyn and Sophia have spoken about starting a family together for the last year or so, and while Caitlyn’s already got ten children, she’s never had the chance to bring a child up in the role of a mother, which she’s always dreamed of doing."
The source also claims that Sophia has always wanted to be a mum too, with the pair deciding on getting a surrogate to make their long-held dreams of motherhood come true.

I'm a couple years older than Mx Jenner. I ain't havin' no babies, nor buyin' no dogs. If I had a child, I'd at least want to expect to live long enough to see it get through kindergarten. Outliving your pets is cruel. Luckily I like my bananas on the greenish side.

Maybe it's going to be a "Win a chance to produce the next Kardashian" sweepstakes thingy.
[Free Beacon] New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D.) forced his fellow plane passengers to wait on the tarmac while he and his campaign team deboarded on Thursday so the mayor could make an appearance on The View.
De Blasio flew into LaGuardia Airport from Detroit, where he participated in Wednesday night's Democratic presidential debate alongside former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) and seven other candidates.
The New York Post reported de Blasio made Delta passengers wait for 10 minutes on the tarmac after their flight landed so the mayor and his team could be the first off the plane.
Passengers on the plane were not pleased with the mayor's actions, according to interviews conducted by the Post.
"This is just a continuation of the rudeness and the bluntness of his performance last night," one passenger said.
De Blasio's performance during Wednesday's debate has been widely panned by political pundits and voters. During the debate, de Blasio faced protests from activists over not prosecuting or firing the police officer involved in the death of Eric Garner.

Whatta schmuck. Who elected this guy or was this one of those Dem-rigged elections? Maybe height was a consideration. Look for Comey to run for something in NYC--if he's not in jail.
[Babylon Bee] DETROIT, MI‐Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson reported Tuesday that she was not sure what she was doing up on stage with "all these crazy people" after CNN's first Democratic debate.
Williamson pointed out that between a guy who praised the Soviet Union, a woman who pretended to be Native American to get ahead in life, and a woman who beats her staffers with a wooden spoon, she was clearly the adult during the debate.
"I mean, these guys are really far out there," Williamson said with a concerned look on her face as she smelled a crystal to calm her down. "It was pretty obvious I didn't belong up there. Man, where did the Democrats find such nutcases?"
"I'm starting to worry the crazy might rub off on me," she added. "I need to purge myself of the negative energy we just witnessed up there. Does anyone have a goat, a knife, and some candles?"
[Washington Insider] Rep. Devin Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said one particular memo that former FBI Director James Comey gave to agents one month after being fired should never have made it to his house.
FBI documents unveiled this week show special agents arriving at Comey's home in June 2017 to collect his memos, which were largely contemporaneous notes on the former FBI director's interactions with President Trump during the transition period and early months of his administration.
This FBI log showed, "Comey observed that the second page of the memo dated March 30, 2017 , had the incorrect banner line classification of SECRET//NOFORN rather than UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO at the top and bottom of the second page."
"NOFORN" means no foreign nationals are allowed to see the document's contents. "FOUO" stands for "For Official Use Only."
Despite the mislabel, Nunes said this memo should never have made its way out of a secure setting.
"The whole idea that you can take something that is marked 'Secret//No Foreign' and then just decide on your own to take that out of the SCIF, so out of a controlled area and not handled properly and take to someone’s house, or a university or wherever these memos went to. You just can’t do that," the California Republican said on Fox News on Thursday.
[Epoch Times] President Donald Trump called out the Democratic party for putting illegal immigrants over America’s inner cities as he gave an impassioned response to the 2020 candidates who fought for the spotlight in two days of live debates earlier this week.
Speaking to an animated crowd of supporters at a rally in the Bank Arena in Cincinatti, Ohio, Trump pointed out how Democrat leaders have been leading inner city communities for years, and have had no success in turning things around.
"The rage-filled Democratic party is trying to tear America apart," he said. "No one has paid a higher price for the far left's destructive agenda than American's living in our inner cities. They have paid a dear price‐you see what's happening. We spend billions and billions and billions for years and years. And it's stolen money and it's wasted money, and it's a shame."
Trump said the Democrat’s "greatest betrayal" was their support for open borders. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said during the July 30 debates that she would decriminalize illegal border crossings, which are currently a criminal offense, if she were elected president in 2020.
But Trump said, "These open borders would overwhelm schools and hospitals, drain public services and flood communities with poisonous drugs. It’s tough enough.
"The conditions in Nancy Pelosi’s once great city of San Francisco are deplorable" he said. "Nearly half of all the homeless people living in the streets in America happen to live in the state of California. What they are doing to our beautiful California is a disgrace to our country. It’s shame. The world is looking at it.
"Look at LA with the tents and the horrible, horrible disgusting conditions," Trump continued. "You have a governor who invites the whole world ... we’ll give you healthcare. Who wouldn’t come up? How crazy is this."
The president then raised what he said was a solution that both parties could come together on.
"Today, I have a simple proposal for Democrat leaders: to support legislation to end illegal migration and we will use the vast savings to rebuild our inner cities," he said. "That’s the way we should be doing."

Intriguing. The Pols would be fighting for decades over exactly what those 'savings' are. Let the Dems decide on who gets how much. There ain't enough popcorn in the universe.

[The Hill] A granddaughter of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy reportedly died after an apparent overdose at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass.
Saoirse Kennedy Hill, 22, the daughter of Courtney Kennedy Hill, died Thursday afternoon, The New York Times reported, citing two people close to the family.
"Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse," the Kennedy family said in a statement to the Times. "Her life was filled with hope, promise and love."
"The world is a little less beautiful today," Ethel Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy’s widow, said in the statement.
[Free Beacon] Washington Free Beacon senior writer Bill Gertz appeared on Mark Levin's radio show Thursday evening to discuss his recent interview with Chinese dissident Guo Wengui about China's efforts to influence the 2020 presidential election.
In his conversation with Levin, Gertz reflected on his interview with Guo, who told Gertz earlier this week that the Chinese government has been deploying a prolonged campaign to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020. Gertz asserted the Chinese government may try to wait out Trump's time in office so it can negotiate trade deals with a new Democratic president if Trump loses in 2020.
Trump announced Thursday he would impose an additional 10-percent tariff on certain Chinese exports as a trade agreement between the United States and China has yet to materialize.
"The China threat to me is the most serious threat facing the country," Gertz told Levin.
He pointed to the economic integration between the U.S and China and how those relationships make it difficult for lawmakers and military officials to address Chinese aggression head-on, which he referred to as "an existential threat."
Levin and Gertz also discussed the growing military presence of Chinese forces in the South China Sea.
[Red State] The Democrat party and their media stenographers have one play in the playbook at this point and it’s Russia.
Anything they don’t like is Russia’s fault. Anyone they don’t like is a Russian agent. Do you eat hamburgers? You’re probably a Russian sympathizer according to The Washington Post. Everything is blamed on Russia, no matter how nonsensical the charge is.
We’ve seen this play out most recently with the #MoscowMitch hashtag and numerous media outlets rushing to telling us that Mitch McConnell is actually Putin’s puppet. It never stops and that means it’s not going to stop in the Democratic primaries either.
As I wrote this morning, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard absolutely wrecked Kamala Harris at the debate last night. If they haven’t seen it, here’s the clip again.

"When you come to this convergence you will be in Tigua, Raramuri, Piro, Suma and Manso territory."
Antifa has no idea what they are getting into. El Paso is not Indian Territory--it's the territory of the Sinaloa and Beltran-Leyna cartels. The cartels, not the Proud Boys, will be Antifa's nemesis. They are very nasty types, and the DPS and National Guard's intention to flood the place will really piss off the cartels.

[EpochTimes] President Donald Trump ordered the Navy to revoke the achievement medals from the prosecutors in Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s case on July 31, almost a month after he was found not guilty of war crimes in Iraq.
Gallagher, 40 was found not guilty of murdering an ISIS prisoner by a military jury in California on July 2. He had been accused of killing the prisoner, who was wounded by an airstrike.
The jury found Gallagher not guilty of all counts except for the violation of posing for photographs with a dead war casualty.
Even after losing the case, the members of the team that prosecuted Gallagher that included four attorneys and four legal support staff were awarded medals.
"The Prosecutors who lost the case against SEAL Eddie Gallagher (who I released from solitary confinement so he could fight his case properly), were ridiculously given a Navy Achievement Medal," Trump said in a message on Twitter.
"Not only did they lose the case, they had difficulty with respect to information that may have been obtained from opposing lawyers and for giving immunity in a totally incompetent fashion. I have directed the Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer & Chief of Naval Operations John Richardson to immediately withdraw and rescind the awards," wrote the President.

No letter questioning the 'special trust and confidence' in the officer awarding the medals to be placed in the aforementioned's personnel file? Or recommending early retirement as of yesterday?

I've been out of the Navy for over 30 years, does anyone know if they give points (towards advancement) for the Achievement Medal now? It's only an attendance medal anyway.
[IsraelTimes] The Israel Defense Forces says troops have arrested two Paleostinian boys who crossed the border fence separating Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. [IsraelTimes] US President Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... announces that 10 percent tariffs on another $300 billion in Chinese imports will take effect next month, escalating the trade war between the world’s two biggest economies as recent negotiations falter.
Trump tweets that "the US will start, on September 1st, putting a small additional Tariff of 10% on the remaining 300 Billion Dollars of goods and products coming from China into our Country."
Trump also complains that China has failed to follow through on what has been touted as two sweeteners in the tense negotiations ‐ a surge in purchases of farm produce and a halt in sales of the opioid fentanyl.
Trump says, however, that "trade talks are continuing."
[NYPOST] Philadelphia’s longest-serving sheriff is now serving behind bars.
Former Philly Sheriff John Green was sentenced to five years in federal prison Thursday for a long running pay-to-play scheme that saw him pocket $675,000 in kickbacks, including a new house, a cozy job for his wife and more than $200,000 in campaign cash.
Prosecutors said Green even got $320,000 to buy a retirement home in Florida.
"Public officials hold office to serve the public good, not to line their own pockets," William McSwain, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said in a statement.
Green, 68, ran the scheme with James Davis, a local businessman who was rewarded with $35 million in city contracts between 2002 and 2011.
Prosecutors said Green essentially turned over his department’s property sales to Davis’ firm, which padded fees and cashed in on advertising for foreclosed homes in the city.
Green’s wife ended up with a $89,000-a-year job and the couple got a "move-in-ready home" after their 2003 wedding.
Green was a city cop for more than 25 years when he was elected sheriff, serving another 22 years in the past until resigning mid-term in 2010. The city then hired a private auditing firm to investigate the books, which lead to an indictment against the top cop in 2015.
"When public servants abuse their authority and flout the rule of law, they disgrace themselves and the offices they hold," McSwain said. "That is what Green did here and he is now paying the price."

[AMGREATNESS] Federal agents arrested a runaway on their most wanted list "for his alleged role in operating a large-scale human trafficking and drug operation out of a bankrupt, increasingly impoverished, reliably Democrat, Detroit ... ruled by Democrats since 1962. A city whose Golden Age included the Purple Gang... motel." The Detroit Free Press reports that according to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson, Darrick Bell, 50, was arrested at an EconoLodge in Michigan.
Bell‐also known as Tone or Ghost‐ was nabbed at the motel on Wednesday with about $12,000 in cash and cocaine, the Detroit Free Press reported. A woman was also arrested.
Bell, a U.S. citizen, escaped arrest on Jan. 12, 2017 when more than 200 law enforcement personnel descended on the Victoria Inn to break up the operation. Women who lived at the motel were allegedly drugged and forced through coercion, threats and isolation to perform commercial sex acts for the financial benefit of Bell and his associates, ICE said.
Bell and five other defendants were charged in a 9-count indictment with trafficking in persons, forced labor, drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion collection and conspiracy, among other charges, ICE said.
The government hunted for Bell for three years. He escaped along with five other people in 2017 right before the hotel where he was operating got raided by the feds. Some of the charges this dirtbag will face include human trafficking, money laundering, extortion collection, and conspiracy.

"We regret this decision," said Carlos Martin Ruiz De Gordejuela, a front man for EU diplomatic chief Federica Mogherini.

Baghdad (IraqiNews) A security source informed, on Wednesday, that Iraqi Federal Police arrested a suspect on charges of terrorism, west of the capital, Baghdad.
In a press statement, the source said that the 3rd regiment of the Federal police’s 6th brigade managed to arrest a suspect, who was wanted on charges of terrorism, in al-Jihad neighborhood, west of Baghdad.
He further added that the terrorist was transferred to a security center for investigation.
[AnNahar] The United States said Wednesday it was extending waivers for three civilian nuclear projects in Iran, despite Washington's withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement.
"This is a short 90 day extension," said White House National Security Advisor John Bolton, a champion of the hawkish policy towards Tehran.
"We are watching those nuclear activities very, very closely, they remain under daily scrutiny," he told Fox Business.
The projects include the Bushehr nuclear power plant, the Arak heavy water reactor, which has been modified under the supervision of the international community to render it impossible to produce plutonium for military use, and the Fordow fuel enrichment plant.
The State Department downplayed the move, as it did when it last granted an extension in May, describing the waivers as "continued restrictions on the Iranian regime's nuclear program".
"The action today will help preserve oversight of Iran's civil nuclear program, reduce proliferation risks, constrain Iran's ability to shorten its 'breakout time' to a nuclear weapon, and prevent the regime from reconstituting sites for proliferation-sensitive purposes," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said in a statement.
In reality, the move extends exemptions for the three Iranian civil nuclear projects, the State Department confirmed to AFP.
There was debate in President Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election... 's administration about these exemptions, with hawks saying that after Washington's withdrawal from the Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... nuclear deal in 2018, it would have been logical to stop them in order to further increase the pressure on Tehran.
But the more moderate line has prevailed for the moment, so as not to upset the other signatories to the 2015 deal -- China, Russia, Germany, La Belle France and Britannia -- amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran.
The 2015 agreement promised that world powers would assist Iran in developing civilian nuclear energy -- the holy manal regime's stated goal for its atomic program.
The waiver announcement came as Washington imposed sanctions Wednesday on Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

We all know how well price controls work, and how effective they are at keeping business in the country.
[CNSNEWS] Companies that develop drugs will have to go to the Health and Human Services Department (HHS) to be told what they’ll be allowed to charge for their products if Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...The former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body... is elected president, the former vice president declared Wednesday during the Democrat presidential debate.
Biden made the claim while defending his health care plan against the charge that it would not cover everyone in America, adding that his administration would also dictate any price increases:
"My plan does cover everyone, number one. Number two, the fact is that my plan also calls for controlling drug prices. The biopharma is now where things are going to go. It’s no longer chemicals.
"It's about all the breakthroughs we have with the whole -- excuse me, immune system.
"And, what we have to do now is we have to have a form that sits in the HHS and says: as you develop a drug, you got to come to us and decide what you can sell it for.
"We will set the price. And, secondly, it says that you cannot raise that price beyond the cost of inflation from this point on."

Biden apparently forgot that the democrats already tried this once, resulting in sky high prices for formally cheap meds.
#8
Actually by the generally accepted accounting rules R&D are sunk costs and a deduction on corporate taxes if these crooks are rolling R&as into calculating the sales price of the drug they are double dipping
#9
Sure, Sock Puppet, but given that most pharmaceutical R&D does not result in a viable product, the small percent of projects that do yield a medication that works have to support billions of dollars of sunk costs. The vast majority of bright ideas turn out to be dead ends, or no better than medications currently on the market, and the cost of discovering that something does not work/work better is often not a great deal less than demonstrating to the FDA’s satisfaction that the discovery works well and is safe. The description of companies that have more tax write offs than income is “bankrupt”.
[AlAhram] Rebels in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... fired a ballistic missile Thursday at a military parade in the southern port city of Aden and coordinated suicide kabooms targeted a cop shoppe in another part of the city. The attacks killed at least 51 people and maimed dozens, officials said.
The missile hit in the city's neighborhood of Breiqa where a military parade was underway by forces loyal to the United Arab Emirates, a member of the Saudi-led coalition that has been fighting the Iran-backed Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... rebels since 2015 in support of Yemen's internationally recognized government.
The missile attack killed at least 40, a health official said.
The parade was taking place at the pro-coalition al-Galaa camp in Aden, said a security official, without give a breakdown for the casualties. Since the rebels seized the country's capital, Sanaa, in 2014, Aden has served as the temporary seat of the government.
The website of the Houthi rebels, al-Masirah, quoted front man Brig. Gen. Yehia Sarea as saying the rebels had fired a medium-range ballistic missile at the parade, leaving scores of casualties, including military commanders.
The security official told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named that UAE-backed commander Monier al Yafie, also known by his nickname Aboul Yamama,
Yes, we know. Go on, get it out of your system, dear Reader.
was among those killed. He was delivering a speech during the parade, the official said.
A short while earlier, a car, a bus and three cycle of violences laden with explosives targeted a cop shoppe in the city's Omar al-Mokhtar neighborhood during a morning police roll-call, said Abdel Dayem Ahmed, a senior police official. Four jacket wallahs were involved in the attack, which killed 11 and maimed at least 29, Ahmed told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
No group immediately grabbed credit for the cop shoppe bombings but both Yemen's al-Qaeda branch and an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group affiliate have exploited the chaos of the country's war between the Houthis and the government forces, backed by the Saudi-led coalition.
Hopefully this time an American drone or satellite feed tracked them back to their base...
A Yemeni health official said that along with the 51 killed, as many as 56 were maimed in Thursday's attacks. Both the security and health official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to news hounds.
Charred remains of the attackers' vehicles were seen at the scene of the cop shoppe attack, next to a meter-deep crater caused by the bombings. Doctors Without Borders tweeted that dozens of maimed were transferred to the aid group's surgical hospital in Aden, where families of the victims had gathered.
Thursday's attacks were the deadliest in Aden since November 2017, when the IS affiliate in Yemen targeted the city's security headquarters, leaving 15 dead, mostly coppers.
Deputy Interior Minister Ali Nasser Lakhsha told news hounds as he inspected the site of the bombed-out cop shoppe that it was unclear who was behind the assault.
``This is a horrific terrorist attack targeting our police,'' the minister said.
Thursday's attacks in Aden came just weeks after the UAE began withdrawing thousands of its troops from Yemen, leaving behind what it says are some 90,000 trained local forces. The UAE also has high level commanders and forces in Yemen, but has pulled back 50-75% of its forces, insiders have said.

[BREITBART] A local news bureau reported "shock" in the German city of Stuttgart after a 36-year-old man was hacked to death with what appeared to be a katana-type sword in the middle of the street on Wednesday afternoon.
The attack took place in front of dozens of witnesses and was filmed by passers-by on mobile phones from multiple angles, and saw a man, a 36-year old German resident of Kazakhstan origin, lying on the floor and being repeatedly hacked at and stabbed with a sword, reports German newspaper Bild.
Video recordings from the scene seen by Breitbart London show the victim lying helpless as the attacker raises the weapon above his head, reportedly bringing it down on the head and upper chest of the victim repeatedly while witnesses can be heard screaming and calling for police in the background.
The perpetrator expeditiously departed at a goodly pace on a bicycle and was given chase by coppers supported by a helicopter. The suspect was reported by regional newspaper Neue Ruhr Zeitung to be a 28-year-old man of Syrian migrant origin who arrived in Germany in 2015. He has been arrested and will appear in court on Thursday afternoon. The suspect is being interrogated by police with the assistance of an interpreter.
The paper further reports the suspect and the Kazakh-origin victim were known to each other, having previously been roommates. A police front man appealed to members of the public to stop sharing videos of the attack on social media, warning it could have "criminal consequences".
The savage attack hit the headlines as Germany remained in a national discussion triggered by another shocking act of migrant violence which took place on Monday. Forty-year-old Eritrea ...is run by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), with about the amounts of democracy and justice you'd expect from a party with that name. National elections have been periodically scheduled and cancelled; none have ever been held in the country. An elderly woman fell on the station platform and received light injuries, but a mother and her eight-year-old son fell onto the tracks where the child was killed instantly.
The migrant allegedly responsible for the attack had previously been hailed as an example of successful migrant integration into Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an society.

[BREITBART] Former vice preisdent Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'... declared at the second Democrat debate in bankrupt, increasingly impoverished, reliably Democrat, Detroit ... ruled by Democrats since 1962. A city whose Golden Age included the Purple Gang... on Wednesday evening that he would fight climate change by eliminating coal, fossil fuels, and fracking.
Biden was responding to criticism from Governor Jay Inslee of Washington state, who said ‐ echoing earlier criticism of Biden by "Green New Deal" author Rep. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez Dem represntative from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details... (D-NY) ‐ that the former vice president was only proposing "middle ground solutions" to an urgent crisis.
CNN moderator Dana Bash then asked Biden to clarify where he stood on fossil fuels, and the following exchange ensued:
Dana Bash: thank you, vice president. just to clarify, would there be any place for fossil fuels including coal and fracking in a biden administration?
Joe Biden: No. We would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated, and no more subsidies for either one of those, any fossil fuel.
On the campaign trail in 2008, then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) told voters in West Virginia in 2008 that he and then-Sen. Barack Obama If you like your coverage you can keep it... (D-IL) supported "clean coal." Biden’s appeal to working-class voters in coal-heavy states like his native Pennsylvania is one of the main arguments for his candidacy.
"Fracking," or hydraulic fracturing, is a process that has allowed the U.S. to harness new shale oil and natural gas resources, and has contributed to the unique achievement of growing the economy while lowering carbon dioxide emissions over the past several years. It is, however, strenuously opposed by left-wing environmentalists.
Biden’s climate change policy, available at his campaign website, does not include coal as a resource, but rather calls for helping communities that currently depend on the coal industry to make the transition to other jobs.

[BREITBART] Regardless, CNN insisted that droids in reality and popular science fiction are white because of the racism inherent in human society. "The reason for these shades of technological white may be racism, according to new research," CNN intoned.
The article cited a study entitled "Robots And Racism," conducted by the Human Interface Technology Laboratory in New Zealand. The study insisted that "people perceive physically human-like robots to have a race and therefore apply racial stereotypes to white and black robots," CNN said.
"The bias against black robots is a result of bias against African-Americans," lead researcher Christoph Bartneck insisted. He also told CNN, "It is amazing to see how people who had no prior interaction with robots show racial bias towards them." But if they were black, that'd be racist because the robots are slaves, of course. If they were brown that'd be racist, too; everybody knows robots can't produce wind, so there'd be no trumpets in android mariachi bands, so they wouldn't be authentic.

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) snuffies killed four Kurdish security members and maimed eight others in an assault on a checkpoint near Kifri south of Kirkuk Wednesday night.
A group of ISIS fighters attacked the checkpoint manned by Kurdish security forces known as Asayesh in Kolajo in the Garmiyan region at 11:00 pm. Commander of Garmiyan operations Aso Jalal, as well as an Asayesh member named Haidar Fuad, were among those killed, according to Khalil Khudada, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) office in Jalawla.
"ISIS launched the attack in the beginning with mortar shells, firing some mortars on the center of Kolajo town," Khudada said. "They later attacked the Gulala Asayesh base with snipers."
Khudada added that after ISIS attacked the Asayesh base, Kurdish Counter-Terror Group (CTG) forces rushed to repel them. Then, a landmine which the snuffies had laid targeted a vehicle of the counter terror forces and killed two of its members.
Among the maimed are two civilians, four CTG members and two Asayesh members, according to Khudada.
"Two of the maimed are at death's door," and were rushed to Sulaimani for treatment, he said.
Kifri is in the Diyala province and is 188 kilometers southeast of Erbil between Kalar and Tuz Khurmatu. Diyala is disputed between both the Kurdistan Region and Iraqi federal governments.
ISIS remnants have maintained a presence in the Hamrin mountains in the area, despite Peshmerga and Iraqi Security Forces' operations.

The perennial aborigine in the world's fuel supply.
[DAWN] Leader of the House in the Senate Shibli Faraz, in the aftermath of the shocking outcome on Thursday of the no-trust motion against Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, said that he regrets that in all this brouhaha major political parties were taken advantage of by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Deobandi holy man, known as Mullah Diesel during the war against the Soviets, his sympathies for the Taliban have never been tempered by honesty ... "The opposition's movement has failed. We had said [this would happen] since day one and we met the leaders of the opposition and explained to them that what they are setting out to do is against the prestige of this institution, its stability and is destroying its spirit.
"We went to Maulana Fazlur Rehman's house as part of our cultural tradition of visiting other people's houses to discuss matters. He couldn't help himself and he went ahead and gave a statement which made it seem we had come to seek his help," said Faraz.
"He hasn't even been able to help his own self," he added.
"Despite having no political leverage, he used this no-confidence motion for his own politics and I regret that with this, other major political parties were used," said Faraz.
"They did not realise that what they are setting out to do will ultimately affect their own selves adversely," he said.
He said that the opposition parties undertook the campaign "to save their skins from accountability". He went on to say that Maulana Fazlur Rehman "uses Islam as a shield, whereas the other opposition parties hide from the accountability drive started by the prime minister".

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Egypt’s president has reiterated his support for the creation of a Paleostinian state during talks with White House envoy Jared Kushner.
Kushner is visiting the region to rally support for the administration’s efforts to resolve the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict. President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... ’s administration has not endorsed a two-state solution, which has long been seen internationally as the only viable path to peace.
Egypt issued a statement Thursday saying President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi told Kushner that Egypt supports efforts aimed at resolving the conflict "on the basis of a two-state solution and the creation of Paleostinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital." "We have to say this publicly...for the rubes"
Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, is promoting the economic component of a yet-unreleased peace plan.
The Paleostinians have cut ties with the White House, saying Trump’s policies are unfairly biased toward Israel.

[KhaamaPress] The security forces arrested a smuggler who was attempting to smuggle 2 kilograms of heroin from Kabul to Delhi, the capital of India.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the Border Police forces on Wednesday arrested the smuggler from Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai ...Former president of Aghanistan, part of the problem not part of the solution... International Airport.
The statement further added that the smuggler had placed the heroin inside a hand bag in a professional manner and wanted to smuggle it to Delhi.
However, the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach... the interior ministry said the Border Police forces recognized the smuggler before he manages to smuggle the drugs to India.
This comes as the Indian police forces have arrested a number of smugglers in India and confiscated drugs worth billions during the recent weeks.

Some smuggler. He brought the same face he did last three times he was caught, processed and deported. Somebody tell the losers sending him, this particular consignment ain't NEVER reaching.
There are three levels of activity to final sale, involving different types of criminal:
Players - the owners/pushers. They own nothing, not the land, not the labor, not the risk, invest only in muscle and are related to taliban or raise their own militias.
Poor farmers, mules working off debts, husbands and fathers forced to earn ransom, by kidnapping/threatening their families. Most of the poor f↺ckers we catch. After investigating their stories, we usually let them go.
Local mafias. Dons in India and Pakistan who then distribute the product through drug addicts and local enforcers.
One gram of heroin leaves the first point of sale for Rs.2K-3K ($29 - 44), and ends up all cut and packed, in the markets for $45 to $520, depending on who's buying. Several entry points exist on the border depending upon the source of product.
The Punjab route has remained compromised for years, because that's a liberal Congress stronghold. Same everywhere, hunhh?
The maritime route from Afghanistan to the Makran coast, where the coastlines of Pakistan and Iran meet is becoming increasingly popular. From there, the consignments can be taken across to western markets via east Africa. Small quantities of product As much as can be held up the ass or in a digestive tract. Ughh ! now reach Delhi either by air or even postal services where it has to be collected over months before being distributed further to other cities like Mumbai.
Since May this year, due to surprising cohesion between police and military, 350 Kilos have been destroyed, and several entry points and associated auxiliaries deepsixed. Also, unlike in the previous administrations, the incumbent politicians do not have friends and cousins swimming in the trade, so we can safely destroy the shit. In the past 45 days alone we have managed to eliminate twelve major networks of the third kind. Their assets were all seized, some of were... uhh, 'permanently absconded'.
Indians don't usually have a problem with intoxication. But Gawd help people profiting off of us.
I can hardly [zzzzzzzz!] wait.

NEW: Per US official, missiles launched by #DPRK Wednesday assessed to be KN-23s - short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) - despite #NorthKorea claims it tested a "large-caliber multiple launch guided rocket system"
[IsraelTimes] Latest test comes while UN Security Council meets over Wednesday’s missile launches, after Pyongyang angered by US-South Korea military drill.
US officials said Thursday that North Korea appears to have carried out yet another launch of an as-yet unidentified projectile, ratcheting up tensions on the Korean Peninsula a day after two missile launches and ahead of US-South Korean military drills that have angered Pyongyang.
Citing two unnamed US officials, Reuters reported on Thursday evening that Washington does not view the latest launch as a threat to the US mainland from the nuclear-armed pariah state, but that details about the launch are still unclear, including the number of projectiles involved.
South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reports also reported the launch of an unidentified short-range projectile.
North Korea said Thursday its leader Kim Jong Un supervised the first test firing of a new multiple rocket launcher system that could potentially enhance its ability to strike targets in South Korea and US military bases there.
The report by the official Korean Central News Agency differed from the assessment by South Korea’s military, which had concluded Wednesday’s launches were of two short-range ballistic missiles.
Under UN sanctions, North Korea is barred from using ballistic missiles.

Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have a major problem, on the level of the Irish Potato Famine, with coffee trees dying of a fungus. So do most of the coffee growing regions of the world. Only Columbia is trying to breed coffee resistant to the fungus.
Many of these refugees once worked in coffee. If the fungus problem was solved many more would not become refugees.

The Duke of Sussex made the comments whilst he was interviewing famed anthropologist Dr Jane Goodall for September’s issue of Vogue magazine, which is being guest-edited by his wife, American former TV actress Meghan Markle.
Speaking of the "stigma" which is "handed down from generation to generation", Prince Harry said that "unconscious bias" is "something which so many people don’t understand".
Prince Harry continued: "Despite the fact that if you go up to someone and say, ’What you’ve just said, or the way that you’ve behaved, is racist’ ‐ they’ll turn around and say, ’I’m not a racist.’
"’I’m not saying that you’re a racist, I’m just saying that your unconscious bias is proving that, because of the way that you’ve been brought up, the environment you’ve been brought up in, suggests that you have this point of view ‐ unconscious point of view ‐ where naturally you will look at someone in a different way.'"

If it's empirically proven, it's not bias. Being wary of natural phenomena with thousands of instances per day around you is just prudent.

Western Civ is not racist. It's a way of life. So successful, huge aspects of it have/are being copied by the Japanese, South Koreans, Singaporeans, Taiwanese, and now the Chinese. If you can't deal with arrangement that rose more people out of poverty and hard scrap living into a world where obesity is a problem not famine, then go enjoy the fruits of other peoples 'racism'.

His family benefited from imperial expansion across half the non-white world. Unless he wants to start emptying the British Museum and return the valuables perhaps he should keep his opinions to himself.

Mindreading is an awesome talent, Harry. Us normal people have to rely on observing peoples actions to decide if they are bigoted, prejudiced or just plain ornery in nature.

Prince Charles (who wants to be King but his mother won't let him).
At 70 he is now both the oldest and the longest-serving crown prince. Mummy is 93 and has promised to die in the saddle — and her mother lived to be 101. Still, it is probably just as well that that the British monarch reigns rather than rules — his supposed dimness and very real crackpottery won’t be able to cause much harm to the country.

It's really too bad. I admired Prince Harry. He joined a combat unit on the front line until some asshole reporter blew his cover. He then became an attack helicopter pilot. He was putting his life where his mouth was.
I fear that his wife has "mellowed" him.

[DAWN] Israel has given rare approval to Paleostinian homes in the part of the occupied West Bank it fully controls while also backing a large settlement expansion before a visit by the White House’s Jared Kushner.
An Israeli official confirmed the approval by the country’s security cabinet the previous day with US President Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... ’s son-in-law and senior adviser expected to visit this week.
The approval is for 700 Paleostinian homes and 6,000 for Israeli settlers.
It was not immediately clear if all of the homes will be new construction or if some already exist and are receiving retroactive approval.
The plan for Paleostinians, though relatively small and far outweighed by the number of settlement homes, could allow Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to argue he is making efforts in favour of Kushner’s long-awaited peace plan.
Details on Kushner’s visit as part of a Middle East tour were not yet made available.
He has said his plan will not mention a two-state solution because "it means one thing to the Israelis, it means one thing to the Paleostinians." US ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who has been a backer of Israeli settlements, reiterated that stance in an interview with CNN late on Tuesday.

"In terms of the ISIS numbers. Between Iraq and Syria. And this is only a guesstimate. I would say 15,000 with a standard deviation of significant thousands in either direction," Jeffrey said, taking questions from news hounds.

US federal authorities in March charged El Aissami with drug trafficking and dodging sanctions imposed by Washington.
If he is arrested and extradited, El Aissami could face up to 30 years in prison.
The US designated El Aissami in February 2017 as having played "a significant role in international narcotics trafficking."
"In his previous positions, he oversaw or partially owned narcotics shipments of more than 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds) from Venezuela on multiple occasions, including those with the final destinations of Mexico and the United States," ICE said on its website.
El Aissami denounced the move as "a dirty trick" and declared himself steadfast and loyal to Maduro’s government.
"Accuse us of whatever you want... we will win," he said.

[IMAGES.DAWN] For the first time in its history, the Miss Venezuela contest will not publish the 24 contestants’ waist, bust and hip measurements, organisers said, as pageants face criticism for their primary focus on physical appearance. Bolivarian inflation gave unreasonably obese numbers
The event, which will take place in Caracas on Thursday, has been running since 1952 and has an enviable record on the international stage, having produced seven Miss Universe winners and six in Miss World.
Traditionally, the contestants’ vital statistics have been publicised with a 90-centimeter (36- inch) bust, 60-centiment waist and 90-centimeter hips long are considered the ideal. I don't think anybody watches those contests except for the fist fights and hair pulling events.

WJZ 13 reports that the burglary "occurred around 3:40 a.m. at his Baltimore home in the 2000 block of Madison Avenue." Police are not yet sure how much property, if any, was taken. "It appears just his wife's financial records were taken"
News of the break-in of Cummings’ home comes on the heels of at least 5 shot, three fatally, Saturday, July 27, through Sunday, July 28. It also follows a Breitbart News report that people were shot during the night of July 24-25, in Baltimore. One of those eight died from his wounds.
On July 28, Breitbart News reported that Baltimore is on track to top 300 homicides for fifth year in a row. A 2016 report from the Baltimore Sun shows 344 homicides for the year 2015. A homicide counter maintained by the Sun shows 318 for 2016, 342 for 2017, and 309 for 2018.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] An Israeli missile hit a village in the Quneitra countryside in Syria’s southwest near the frontier between the two countries on Thursday, Syrian state media said.
Also known as the Syrian part of the Golan Heights.
State news agency SANA described it as "an Israeli attack" that caused only material damages.
During Syria’s eight-year war, Israel has carried out strikes in Syria which it says have targeted regional arch rival Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... and Tehran’s ally Hezbollah.
[IsraelTimes] Community Security Trust calls for reversing ’tide of hate’ after 892 occurrences against Jews recorded in first six months of 2019, up 10% from same period in 2018.
There was a record annual total of 1,688 anti-Semitic incidents in the UK in 2018.
"This is the third year in a row that CST has seen an increase in reports of antisemitic incidents," the group’s chief executive David Delew said in a statement. "The problem is spreading across the country and online, it reflects deepening divisions in our society and it is causing increasing anxiety in the Jewish community. It will take people of all communities and backgrounds standing together to turn this tide of hate around."
There was a 37 percent increase in violent incidents compared to the same reporting period the previous year, the CST found, recording 85 anti-Semitic assaults during the first six months of 2019, up from 62 the previous year.
All told, there were 710 incidents of "abusive behavior, including verbal abuse, anti-Semitic graffiti, antisemitic abuse via social media and one-off cases of hate mail," the CST reported.
[CNSNEWS] "What would you do for Baltimore and other cities that need help?" several Democrats were asked at Wednesday's CNN-hosted debate.
When her turn came to answer that question, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand ...Machine non-entity selected to become the successor to Hillary Clinton as Senatrix-for-Life from Noo Yawk. She is running for the Dem presidential nomination in 2020. She has no observable principles, will apparently say anything to anyone, and seemingly lacks any personality of her own.... (D-N.Y.) invoked her own "pasty white privilege."
So I don't believe that it's the responsibility of Cory and Kamala to be the only voice that takes on these issues of institutional racism, systemic racism in our country. I think as a white woman of privilege, who is a U.S. senator, running for president of the United States, it is also my responsibility to lift up those voices that aren't being listened to.
And I can talk to those white women in the suburbs that voted for Trump and explain to them what white privilege actually is, that when their son is walking down a street with a bag of M&Ms in his pocket, wearing a hoodie, his whiteness is what protects him from not being shot.
When his -- when her -- when their child has a car that breaks down, and he knocks on someone's door for help, and the door opens, and the help is given, it's his whiteness that protects him from being shot. That is what white privilege in America is today.
And so, my responsibility's to only lift up those stories, but explain to communities across America, like I did in Youngstown, Ohio, to a young mother, that this is all of our responsibilities, and that together we can make our community stronger.

Baltimore needs a hell of a lot more than anti-racism to fix it up. It has been in a terminal swirl down the toilet bowl for many decades.
Consider the loops needed to put a repo'ed home back on the market. First, Baltimore doesn't allow the turning off of services to a repo'ed home so water, electricity, and if connected, natural gas are all on.
These tend to have base connection rates if not used. The city pays these and puts it in account of the house. They can only be paid one day a year (random per house) and must be paid exactly in cash.
The "exactly" gets complicated as they can sell the debts to others so exactly is an unknown until one shows up to pay..
"Cash" is a problem to as City Hall is not a nice neighborhood and carrying piles of cash is dangerous there. Cash to the City of Morons is not a check, not a debit/credit card, not a money order, not an electronic funds transfer - it is only the green folding government script and it's associated coinage. STOP AND CONSIDER THAT!
A son was working at a major east coast re-titling operation after 2008 and the moronic city of Baltimore drove him crazy. One night he woke up from a bad dream about it saying "How do the criminals in Baltimore make bail?" BAIL BONDS MEN. And, they are located right across the street!
Done! In Baltimore the only sane way to clear a title is using a bail bondsman!
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A new Dutch law has come into force banning face-covering clothing - including the burqa and niqab worn by conservative Moslem women - on public transport, in government buildings and at health and education institutions.
The Netherlands, long seen as a bastion of tolerance and religious freedom, is the latest Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an country to introduce such a ban, following the likes of La Belle France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Denmark.
Moslem and rights groups have voiced opposition to the law - formally called the "partial ban on face-covering clothing" - and an Islamic political party in Rotterdam has said it will pay the 150-euro ($167) fines for anybody caught breaking it.
Very few women in the Netherlands wear a burqa or niqab and it is unclear how strenuously the law will be enforced.
Between 200 and 400 women are estimated to wear a burqa or niqab in the country of 17 million people.
The Dutch legislation was passed in June 2018 after more than a decade of political debate on the subject. The far-right politician Geert Wilders had proposed the face-covering veil ban back in 2005.
"From now on the wearing of clothing which covers the face is banned in educational facilities, public institutions and buildings, as well as hospitals and public transport," the Dutch interior ministry said in a statement.
It added that it was important in such public places to be recognized and seen, which besides the burqa, also bans a face-covering helmet or hood.

But how do you enforce such a ban ? Unless covering the face an offense for which you can be detained. Only that would work.
Okay, you can deny entry in malls, shops, etc. but you can't run up to women in public and rip their veils off can you ? I don't see how the cops are expected to do it. It should be supplemented by shuttering businesses that sell burqas.
Stop them at the entrance and — it being the Netherlands — politely offer the choice of baring their face or leaving. Some spokesperson for hospitals and public transport has already announced they won’t be enforcing it, but for the rest it should be easily enough done.
LC-39A is the Apollo Moon Shot pad, the prime Shuttle pad, currently the Falcon 9 pad for NASA launches and the Falcon Heavy pad. Now it with have the capability to launch the Starship Heavy (BFR) (Mars Colony Rocket)(Moon Rocket) and all the Falcon rockets.
"SpaceX plans to launch the Starship/Super Heavy up to 24 times per year from LC-39A. A static fire test would be conducted on each stage prior to each launch."
So 48 firings a year of StarShip Heavy. Note that this document was written before the first stage engine count rose to 35 and the second stage dropped to 6 engines so all the numbers might need tweaking.
Looks like Super Heavy lands on an ASDS. (Autonomous spaceport drone ship)
Starship LZ-1 at first. Pad inside the fence at 39A still under evaluation!
The document is talks about sonic booms and shows a peak overpressure contour around 2.0 psf near Orlando. I can hear F9 landing booms in Orlando just fine I am curious how it will compare to Super Heavy / Starship.
Starting on page 88 is a list of facilities used by various commercial entities.
The older rockets:
"SpaceX plans to increase the Falcon launch frequency to 20 launches per year from LC-39A and up to 50 launches per year from LC-40 by the year 2024."

Note for the older rockets that's up to 70/year from the East Coast. Currently, quite a few less than that are on the manifest. one SpaceX manifest link

The Super Heavy Booster reaches an altitude of about 425,000 feet and then on descent reaches hypersonic speeds above Mach 6 before slowing to subsonic speeds, below 25,000 feet, prior to landing on a drone ship.

SpaceX is testing a Starship prototype “hopper” at SpaceX’s site in Cameron County, TX. In the future, SpaceX may develop and launch the Starship/Super Heavy from its facility in Cameron County, TX. This action would analyzed in a separate NEPA document.

Fabrication and assembly of launch vehicle components would occur at existing SpaceX facilities located on KSC and CCAFS. These facilities could include Area 59 and the Payload Processing Facility (PPF) on CCAFS, the Falcon Hangar at LC-39A, and the soon to be constructed KSC SpaceX Operations Area on Roberts Road. SpaceX would also perform fabrication, assembly, and integration operations at the Mobile Service Station (MSS) Park Site Property and on the Crawlerway area. No modifications to the Crawlerway are expected from transport or operational use of Starship and Super Heavy. Staging and temporary fabrication tents could be used on the Crawlerway to support operations. SpaceX would coordinate through EIAP with USAF and the KSC Environmental Checklist with NASA if any new facilities were needed to support Starship/Super Heavy.
Starship or Super Heavy components would be delivered over roadways on a mobile transporter similar to the transports performed for Falcon. Most manufacturing of vehicle components would occur at the SpaceX facility in Hawthorne, CA. Additional facilities being considered for manufacturing and assembly include Boca Chica, TX, and a facility in the Cidco Industrial Park, Cocoa, FL. Large vehicle components would be transported by barge utilizing the KSC Turn Basin, then transported to LC-39 area as the final delivery point. The area of the Turn Basin SpaceX intends to use to offload vehicle components would be the wharf just southeast of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). This area was used for arrival and offloading of vehicle components during the Shuttle Program. The rocket would be integrated vertically on the pad at LC-39A using a mobile crane. This would involve the booster being mated to the launch mount followed by Starship being mated to the booster. Initial flights would use a temporary or mobile crane, with a permanent crane tower constructed later. The height of the permanent crane tower would be approximately 120 to 180 m.

The optics of even just the prototype Starship taking off from 39A and landing at LZ-1 will be.......
This is the tipping point. NASA didn't just welcome a fox into the hen house, they let a Raptor in. And then gave it the keys. How many more Think Tank hit pieces will start to flow now that the true scope of this effort has been publicly disseminated?

Combining 1500t fuel with the "6.9km/s deltaV for a fully fueled Starship in orbit with 100t payload" tweet would imply a dry mass for Starship of ~180t assuming vac Raptors at 380s, or ~130t assuming sl Raptors at 350s as listed in the EA. Either seems reasonable enough given how little we know of the recent design changes.

Deputy Commissioner General Sandra Mitchell of the United States resigned in July and denied all allegations in a confidential report by the ethics office of the UN Relief and Works Agency, known as UNRWA.
The report, made public this week by AFP, claims the agency’s top management, including Commissioner General Pierre Krahenbuhl, "have engaged in sexual misconduct, nepotism, retaliation, discrimination and other abuses of authority."
UN front man Stephane Dujarric says Guterres decided in coordination with Krahenbuhl to appoint Assistant Secretary-General Christian Saunders of the United Kingdom as the agency’s acting deputy commissioner general "to support UNRWA and ensure operational continuity."
The UN Office of Internal Oversight Services is currently investigating allegations of misconduct in UNRWA, Dujarric says, and "the secretary-general is committed to acting, as appropriate, once he receives the findings and recommendations."
Saunders, the agency’s new acting deputy commissioner general, began his UN career in 1989 with UNRWA in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The people who endorse controlled annihilation and depopulation seem right at times like this. What good is life under a daesh like regime ? You're better off dead, than dragging your family through a fate worse than hell everyday.
Life, everywhere wants to live, be free... these offspring of demons want to reduce it to a mockery of the freedoms God gave man, and bring despair to humanity. In trying to fight them, when we exceed their viciousness, we find ourselves farther from God.
Surely to be somewhat reduced now that the ghost soldiers are no longer being paid...
[KhaamaPress] An American political and Iraq veteran Tulsi Gabbard has claimed that the cost of Afghanistan is $4 billion a month.
Gabbard, the U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s second Congressional district made the remarks during Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate.
She vowed complete withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Afghanistan if elected president, accusing President Trump of deceiving the American people in his pledge to quickly pull troops from Afghanistan.
"We were all lied to. This is the betrayal. ... The problem is that this current president continues to betray us," Gabbard was quoted as saying in a report by The Hill.
Gabbard further added that withdrawing from Afghanistan is "not about arbitrary deadlines, this is about leadership."
"The leadership I will bring to do the right thing to bring our troops home within the first year in office. We have to do the right thing and end the wasteful regime change wars and bring our troops home," she added.
She also said the cost of the Afghanistan war was $4 billion a month and claimed the continued use of such dollars is the reason Americans have become disenchanted with politics.
"Every single month we are spending $4 billion on a continuing war in Afghanistan, $4 billion dollars every single month, rather than ending that war, bringing our troops home and using those precious resources into serving the needs of the people here in this country."
Gabbard is not the only Democratic presidential candidate to pledge to withdraw troops from Afghanistan quickly, according to The Hill.

$ 3.75 billion actually, the reduction plans to bring it down to less than $ 3 billion, but even during and after pullout, it shall continue to cost nearly that. Till today, the 5-sided puzzle box states a $975 billion has been burnt in Afghanistan.

Yes, but those are Israeli soldiers held captive by Israel’s enemies. You, my dear sir, are an ISIS soldier — avowed enemy of Israel, though they haven’t got round to doing anything about it directly yet — being held captive by the Kurds, who are sympathetic to Israel and vice versa.

Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him."

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. "The Secretary-General urges all parties concerned to cooperate with the board once it has been established," Dujarric said.

[IsraelTimes] Fierce festivities between a regional force and IS-affiliated fighters in northeast Nigeria ... a particularly crimson stretch of Islam's bloody border... have left 25 soldiers and at least 40 jihadists dead, two military sources and a militia leader say.
Fighters from the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... [DAILYSTAR.CO.UK] Proving that the work never stops, Miley Cyrus took to Instagram on Wednesday to share two red-hot pics from a recent photoshoot. I've seen pictures of her nekkid. She's not bad looking if you look past the tattoos. And the haircut. And the other tattoos...
Taken by celeb photographer Vijat Mohindra, the snaps show the 26-year-old pop star lying topless by the side of the pool. I was taken by the headline: She was 100.00% topless, by gum. If she went 50% topless, would that involve displaying one boobie? Or a half of each nippie? What if she went 75% topless? Would that be a boobie and a half nip? I'm not up on the technical end of this stuff. What about 37.5% topless? I'm sure the Daily Star.uk has experts who can track this. Now, when you get down to 12.7% percent topless are we talkin' about cleavage only?
Utterly bare on top, she covered up elsewhere with a pair of checkered slacks and a few chunky chain bracelets. My grandkids used to like her teevee show. She played a rock star who was actually a sensible kid underneath. So she really is a pretty good actress.

I find it quite satisfying that her Dad has knocked her (and almost everyone else)off the stage with a rather clever country-rap song duo that's only 2 minutes long. Twerk that!

Agree with the inline comments. Her tattoos, strange hair, and weird tongue stuff are off-putting. She should/could be a knockout if she knocked it off and went for the classy look.
