#1 Another day in my life when I shall remember where I was when I heard the sad news of a hero passing.
My best two guitars were Gibson Les Pauls; the only improvement required on those '70s models was to replace the machineheads with ones made by Schaller, (geared), and perhaps mess around with the Double Humbucker pick-up polarities according to taste, in the days before the multi-effects pedal. The action on the necks could not be bettered.
