#3 RJ, don't forget that as long as Fed keeps creating magic (infinite) money, the price is unlikely to drop. Oil and gas will still be scarcer than dollars.

James.... hummm. No. Most of the new oil costs more than a 1.00 a gallon to lift in the crude state, much less refine for your PU. When you consider what a gallon of gasoline or diesel does, it's outlandishly cheap.

While we're at it, movie tickets need to be $ 2.00, and a decent small house should cost $ 50,000.00. You should be able to find a really nice new-ish car for 5,000.00.

At least that's what I think I remember all the prices being back in the days of 1.00 a gallon gas in the 70's.
