#2 Correct me iff I'm wrong, but IIRC Turkey is not yet formally a part of the EU, so when the MSM says or mentions "Cyprus" as per their new/latest crisis it means "GREEK/SOUTHERN CYPRUS".

Both Greek + Turkish Cyprus are in competition for OWG EU, IMF Bailouts + diplomatic recognition espec ala Greece + Turkey.

Just as Radical Islam wants its OWG Caliphate + Ummah, so in similar does the Greek-Russian Orthodox Church [read, MOSCOW = "THE THIRD ROME" = NOT-THE-VATICAN-OR-ATHENS-OR-CONSTANTINOPLE].
