[FoxNews] A Georgia homeowner fatally shot a would-be intruder trying to break into his house – and a neighbor called police after the gunshots interrupted her breakfast, police said.
Shots rang out at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday in DeKalb County when an unidentified homeowner shot the unidentified male suspect, who was rushed to a local hospital but did not survive, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
The gunshots were heard by neighbors in the area, including by Melan Sydnor, who was in the middle of making breakfast.
"I was in the kitchen and then there were gunshots and it was really loud," Sydnor told Fox 5. "I heard a few gunshots and then about five minutes later the police pulled up."
Another resident in the area, Joann Proctor, said she was left on edge and that criminals are targeting homes early in the morning.
"Young guys are stalking the neighborhood at night, like 4-5 in the morning, they checking doors," Proctor said.
How rude. Everyone knows you don’t check doors until 9:30 in the morning.
The homeowner, who has also not been identified, was questioned by police and returned to his home by mid-morning. He will not be charged as he was defending himself and his home, WSBTV reported.
"I just think it’s a sad state of affairs for the country," one unidentified neighbor told the outlet. "In this case, somebody having a gun was a good thing."
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, according to Fox 5. Police have not released information on why the suspect was trying to break into the home and if the homeowner was targeted.

In the missive to the judge, the family of young Tristyn Bailey, and the community, Fucci fretted that he was losing good memories.
"Mom now i miss your lemon peper (sic) chicken. I miss your hugs. I miss you," he wrote in the letter, which was published by firstcoastnews.com. "The longer I’m in here the more i forget the more memories i Lose. I’ll never forget you love me." "Now it's just tossed salad. Every day"
The Florida teen apologized nine times for the brutal murder for which he pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to life in prison.
He then disposed of her body near Jacksonville.
Fucci’s mother was accused of tampering with evidence related to Bailey’s murder, the outlet reported.
Fucci’s jailhouse letter, which was written on loose leaf paper, was reportedly released one day before his sentencing.
He started the letter by writing that he was sorry "for all the pain i caused to the Baily (sic) family."
"I sorry to the friends, brothers, sisters, Mom, Dad and any other family relatives," he wrote. "Im sorry that you diden’t get to know her that long."

[Breitbart] Phoenix, Arizona, Family Dollar employee Kevin Salas Madrid is under arrest after allegedly shooting a shoplifter at least ten times.
The shooting occurred Wednesday just before 8 p.m.
FOX 10 Phoenix reported that 24-year-old Madrid confronted the shoplifter and that the shoplifter allegedly punched Madrid in the face.
Madrid responded by shooting the shoplifter and then allegedly continued to shoot once the suspect fell to the ground.
FOX 10 said Madrid shot the shoplifter ten times but AZFamily claimed Madrid shot him 15 times, "emptying his gun’s magazine."
A witness told police the shoplifter allegedly made a fist and punched Madrid hard enough to knock his glasses off. It was after that punch that Madrid opened fire.
Madrid was booked on a second degree murder charge. The shoplifter is hospitalized in critical condition.

Obviously an adherent of the "If it's worth shooting, it's worth shooting a lot" school of thought. OTOH, if he's such a bad shot that the perp/vic is still alive, a mag dump might be reasonable in his case.
[FoxNews] A California Marine veteran and father of two was fatally shot and killed Friday morning while driving for Uber, according to police.
Aaron Orozco, 38, picked up two passengers early that morning and stopped at a Lynwood 7-Eleven for an unknown reason before he got into a physical altercation with the two passengers, police said.
One suspect shot Orozco in the upper torso, cops said.
The suspects then fled in Orozco's vehicle, and it was later located by local authorities a short distance away. Orozco was pronounced dead at the scene. He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Medina, a 9-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.
"It just seems like I’m in a nightmare. It doesn’t seem real to me," Medina told Fox 11. "I haven’t even told my kids yet, they still think dad is going to come through the door."
Orozco had been based out of Camp Pendleton and had previously completed three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Medina told Fox 11 her husband had started working for Uber at night so he could care for their children while she was working as a nurse.
"We were married for 10 years, but we’ve been together since high school, high school sweethearts," Medina told FOX 11.
Orozco had been working for Uber for four years before the shooting, never having had issues in the past until the morning of March 24.
"Our hearts are with Mr. Orozco Figueroa’s family as they cope with this unfathomable tragedy, and we have reached out to offer our condolences," Uber said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "We banned the rider’s account and are working with police on their investigation."
Uber told Fox News Digital they have extended their condolences to the family and explained Orozco's family is eligible for survivor benefits, provided through Intact.
The company's Public Safety team – composed of former law enforcement officers and paralegals – is ready to assist with the investigation, which is still ongoing. Uber said they are working closely with detectives on the case and will continue to cooperate with the investigation.
A GoFundMe page set up in honor of Orozco and his family had already surpassed its $20,000 goal as of Sunday morning, with more than $36,000 donated.
"I just hope that they find them because they created this chaos in my life and my family's life," Medina told ABC 7. "And, you know, now I don't have my husband with me. And, it has just changed my life around so much. So, I really hope that they do catch them."
And as he spoke He no longer looked to them like a lion; but the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them. And for us this is the end of all the stories, and we can most truly say that they all lived happily ever after. But for them it was on the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia had only been the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read; which goes on forever; in which every chapter is better than the one before.
[PJMedia] Multiple people are dead following a shooting incident at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. Original reports from Fox News said that at least three children and two adults had died. That number rose to seven as more information became available. One officer sustained an injury in the incident. The Covenant School is a private Christian institution for children up to the sixth grade. The three students and three adults were taken by ambulance to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The victims were pronounced dead at the hospital.
Originally, it was not clear if one of the deceased was the shooter, although a later report from Nashville Metro Police confirmed that the shooter had been engaged by officers and was killed.
“Officers went to the gunfire. When they got to the second floor and saw the shooter, a female. There was a five-member unit that was on the second floor at the time,” MNPD spokesperson Don Aaron said. “We know at this point that this shooter is a female. Her identification isn’t confirmed. She had two assault rifles and a handgun. She entered the school through a side entrance and went from the first school to the second floor. By 10:27 a.m., the shooter was dead.”
It is not known if the female shooter had any connection to the school. NewsChannel 5 reports that the shooter is a 28-year-old Nashville resident. Her name has not yet been released.
The police department said that other schools in the Green Hills area were placed on lockdown or lockout as a precaution and that parents were notified of the situation. Area roads have been closed during the response to the incident. According to WKRN, ATF Nashville, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have responded to assist with the incident.

"unidentified 28 year old".... If she's unidentified, how do they know how old she is. Reality is they're just withholding the info until they figure out the best way to spin it. Is she black? muslim? antifa? a defrocked minister?

Fox News Quotes: "Police say officers engaged with and killed the shooter, identified as a 28-year-old female carrying two "assault-type rifles" and a handgun."..."The female, who was only identified as a Nashville resident, killed three students and three adults before being killed by police just before 10:30 a.m. local time."..."At one point she was a student at that school," Nashville police Chief John Drake said. "There was a vehicle nearby that gave us a clue to who she was."..."Police say the shooter entered the building through a side door before climbing stairs to the second floor, where she then opened fire. They don't believe she was wearing any body armor but was armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun, authorities said."
This speaks to premeditation and methodical planning, heavily armed, to commit murder, uncharacteristic for a female as a rule. The reference that this was a former student, of the elementary-level christian school, means that link is about 15 years in the past. That kind of anger and long-term resentment certainly implies someone in grave emotional distress, with childhood links, consistent with the trans mindset as a rule.

Hat tip to the brave policemen who apparently rushed to the sound of gunfire and quickly neutralized the threat.
Second that. From everything I read there was no shortage of bravery from the PD.
[Dawn] Nadia Kahf made history when she took oath in New Jersey this week as the first judge to do so while wearing a hijab. And she took oath by pressing her hand on a copy of the Holy Koran she inherited from her grandmother.
"I’m overwhelmed and very happy and very honored as well," Judge Kahf, 50, said in an interview to the North Jersey news outlet. "I’m happy the bench is going to reflect (all) residents of New Jersey."
Ms Kahf specialises in family law and has worked on immigration cases too. Since 2003, she has served on the board of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations ... the Moslem Brüderbund's American arm ... , a Muslim civil rights organization.
After a year of waiting, Ms Kahf, is now a state Superior Court judge in Passaic County, New Jersey. She was nominated by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.
"I am proud to represent the Moslem and Arab communities in New Jersey in the United States," she said during her swearing in ceremony on Tuesday. "I want the younger generation to see that they can practice their religion without fear that they can be who they are."
Ms Kahf was nominated to the Superior Court in February 2022, but her nomination was delayed for more than a year, first by State Senator Kristin Corrado who signed off in October.
Ninety elected officials of the State of New Jersey, and hundreds of citizens, wrote letters to Senator Corrado, asking her to "do the right thing and make history by appointing the very first hijabi to the New Jersey Superior Court."
That sounds like an organized effort.
State senators in New Jersey can use "senatorial courtesy," an unwritten tradition that allows a politician representing the hometown of a nominee to stall or block their consideration.
Even though Senator Corrado withdrew her hold in October 2022, Judge Kahf’s final confirmation came early this month, almost six months after the objection was withdrawn.
"It is ordered that effective upon taking the judicial oath of office, and until further Order, Superior Court Judge Nadia Kahf is hereby assigned to the Superior Court, Family Division, Passaic County," said an official order issued on March 3, 2023.
Nadia Kahf immigrated to the United States from Syria when she was 2-year-old. She is the president of the Islamic Centre of Passaic County, one of the state’s largest mosques and is also a legal counsel for Wafa House, a nonprofit domestic violence and social service agency.
Ms Kahf did her B.A. in 1994 from the Montclair State University, which is the second largest public university in New Jersey by enrollment. She received a law degree (Juris Doctorate or JD) from the Seton Hall University, New Jersey. A JD degree is the highest education available in the legal profession in the United States.
Seton Hall is a private Catholic research university, founded in 1856 by Bishop James Roosevelt Bayley. It is the oldest diocesan university in the United States.
She has been practicing law in New Jersey since 2002 and is widely respected as a lawyer.
The works of Agatha Christie in the new edition are subjected to "politically correct" censorship
[REGNUM] From the new editions of the works of the English writer Agatha Christie , published by HarperCollins, they removed passages that may seem intolerant and politically incorrect, the British Daily Telegraph reports on March 25.
We are talking about new editions that are just planned to be released or that have already been published in the period from 2020. In particular, passages containing "descriptions, insults or references to ethnicity" were removed from works written between 1920 and 1976.
So, the internal monologues of two key characters of the writer, Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot, have been significantly changed.
The word “Indian” has been removed from the original phrase “his Indian character” in The Last Things of Miss Marple and two stories in the new version of the text, and from the novel “Caribbean Mystery” an entire passage has been deleted where the character did not see a black girl in the bushes at night.
Recall that at the US Merchant Marine Academy, by the decision of the leadership of the educational institution, a large picture on the biblical theme depicting Jesus Christ was covered with a curtain so that it could not offend anyone's feelings.

[NYPOST] A transgender woman was left in tears at JFK Airport after she claimed a TSA agent punched her in the testicles while going through security, The Daily Mail reported.
The unidentified flyer took to social media to vent about the incident, in which she said the agent "humiliated" her in front of everyone in a series of posts that have since been deleted, according to the outlet.
"hi so a tsa agent at jfk airport punched me in the genitalia, yelled at me for having a penis (?) and humiliated me in front of everyone after i told her to please stop," she captioned over photo of her crying in the airport bathroom, according to a screenshot of the post.
But the embarrassment didn’t stop there, according to the woman.
"[The TSA agent] followed me into the women’s bathroom and began talking about me to a coworker while I sobbed in a stall," she wrote, asking friends on the internet for advice as to what she should do. Get your mental illness treated

[NYPOST] One of Hollywood’s leading Native American figures is being accused of faking her claims of Cherokee heritage, The Post can reveal. Betcha Iron Eyes Cody is turning over in his grave, assuming he's dead.
Award-winning Heather Rae, 56, serves on the Academy of Motion Pictures’ Indigenous Alliance, previously headed up the Sundance Institute’s Native American program and claims "my mother was Indian and my father was a cowboy." Multiple prior news reports have also cited her as having a Cherokee mother. Just goes to show, anybody can say "Ugh."
But a watchdog group called the Tribal Alliance Against Frauds is now demanding the Academy and the producer drop her "false claims" while screeching muppets insist she’s at best 1/2048th Cherokee. My son did some genealogical research and found out one of our ancestors was Monacan. Sadly, us Monacans are extinct, so I think I'll take a nap...
The group accuses her of profiting from usurping "real American Indian voices and perspectives" and being a fraudulent so-called "Pretendian." Paleface spoke with forked tongue? Well, tut my tuts.
Rae is married to another Hollywood producer, Russell Friedenberg, and the eldest of their three children is actress Johnny Sequoyah, who currently stars in the reboot of Dexter. Too much inside baseball for me.

[ShabelleMedia] A battle between the Somaliland forces and the SSC militia has broken out again on Sunday morning on the outskirts of LasAnod city.
Somalilad said Puntland ...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion... forces and bandidosLions of Islam attacked its military outpost in Gooja-Adde area, adding that its forces have fended off the attack and inflicted losses on the attackers.
Meanwhile, ...back at the revival hall, Buford bit the snake and Eloise began speaking in tongues... SSC elders said the fighting took place in three different fronts close to Goja-Ade, Somaliland’s main military base in the area.
Mortar shells hit different localities in the town, according to the sources. Casualties feared.
The situation in the city has been calm in the past few days with reports that Somaliland has sent other reinforcements to the Sool region to avert the advancing SSC militia.
Until now, calls for ceasefire were unsuccessful and Æthiopian government’s mediation between the warring parties taking time to halt the hostilities and find a lasting peace.
On February 16, Somaliland President Muse Bihi said he has initiated peace talks with the traditional elders of the Dhulbahante clan.
Elders of the clans denied any contact with Bihi for peace talks saying none can be held with Somaliland "until its forces retreat from Las Anod".
The battles that took place in the past few days resulted in large losses on both sides.
Local doctors say more than 200 people were killed and hundreds maimed with UN saying thousands fled from the city to nearby peaceful areas, and some crossed into Æthiopia.

UP FRONT QUESTION?
By chance did Hunter Biden work out this deal?
Asking a question only to show how the LSD's play the race card for votes every election and never deliver.
What if this $55B had gone to the estimated 4,223,000 of Black American families with actual pre-1866 US only slave lineage?
That would have been about $13,024.00 for each Black American Family with actual pre-1866 US only slave lineage.
So instead of LSD's delivering on a 30+ year campaign promise and putting the stupid Idea of Reparations to rest. They are funneling $$$$$ in to KNOWN corrupt African administrations that still practice Slavery in various forms.

So that is how much we have to pay to get them to listen to her give speeches? I seem to recall nobody in sub-Saharan Africa stays bought for very long, and aside from the MSM, who cares what they think?
Few recipients of the Chinese Belt and Road largess so far seem very pleased afterwards, but we should be encouraging the CCP to spend money everywhere in Africa, in large quantities, because it will be a PR disaster when they start demanding it be paid back, or else! Anything not in their military budget is helpful.

The US trialed the money/occupation strategy in Southeast Asia. Made some good capitalists after 20 years for a pretty high human life price. Twenty years of money and occupation in the Mideast remains to yield a capitalist success.
British, Dutch and French et. al. colonized Africa. It remains Africa.

[REGNUM] The head of the Minneapolis Fed acknowledged the danger of a recession in the United States
The problems that the US banking system is experiencing could have a negative impact on the real estate market and construction and bring the US economy closer to recession. This was stated on March 26 by the head of the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of Minneapolis, Neil Kashkari, on the air of CBS News .
He confirmed that the problems of US banks, affecting the construction sector, "absolutely" bring the country closer to a recession.
According to the banker, it is still unknown whether the current difficulties in the financial sector will lead to a massive collapse in lending and how much they can affect the national economy.
Kashkari acknowledged that the US banking regulator is not perfect and could be wrong.
He stressed that the country's banking system continues to face "fundamental challenges" and "regulatory difficulties."
Recall that within five days after the 16th largest US bank Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) went bankrupt on March 10, American depositors urgently withdrew almost $100 billion from their bank accounts.

Maybe if you allow these things to fail and only pay off the depositors iaw FDIC limits, it might start to encourage bank leadership and investors to act 'conservatively', the old fashion way, like the banks of the post Depression era.
[Epoch Times] New York state is reportedly close to enacting the nation’s first legislative ban on gas stoves for most new construction. Amid a statewide uproar over the plan, the Democrat-led state legislature is set to advance the move as part of Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $227 billion budget blueprint, which heavily focuses on phasing out the use of fossil fuels with a commitment to creating a "cleaner, healthier environment for future generations."
If passed as is, the measure would prohibit the installation of "fossil fuel equipment" and building systems in the construction of new one-family and smaller multi-family homes, beginning on Dec. 31, 2025. The same prohibition would apply to new larger multi-family homes and commercial buildings starting on Dec. 31, 2028.

[FoxNews] Smelling other people’s sweat might not seem like a desirable activity, yet a new study from Sweden suggests that exposure to body odor could be an alternative therapy for social anxiety.
The study’s findings were presented at the European Congress of Psychiatry, held from Aug. 25-Aug. 28 in Paris.
Elisa Vigna, the lead researcher from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, said at the conference that when people are in a certain "state of mind" and then sweat, their perspiration includes certain molecules — or "chemo-signals" — that convey their "emotional state" and elicit "corresponding responses" in those who smell it.
