Say Something: Millenials Giving Up on Obama
College Republicans from my home state of South Dakota produced this video about young people's disenchantment with Barack Obama. The tune is "Say Something," by A Great Big World:

It is vitally important that young people learn from the failure of the Obama administration, if only to inoculate them--some of them, anyway--against the next enthusiasm, our first woman president.

#1  Very touching but when the pity party is over it's important to get off your butt and try to find a job anyway. Even if the pay is lousy and the conditions are difficult it is important to get some experience...and be sure to properly dispose of your trash. Throwing it onto the lawn or into a stream is not cool.

#2  I guess they aren't entirely stupid after all. Now if they would finally get disillusioned with progressivism and liberalism, that have produced such scumbags as Obama and his ilk...

Kind of like the Reagan generation learned the hard way from Jimmy carter (oily took them one term, but the press wasn't covering Jimmuhs ass for him the way these propagandists do now). Problem is, they need a Reagan to cement things, and I don't see one - Rep Gowdy, Sen Cruz or Lee? Sen Paul maybe? None of them can hold a candle to the Gipper unfortunately.

#3  Hat tip to the awakening millennial realists. Unfortunately, they appear to be somewhat outnumbered. There's an entire host of Cultural Relativists, Racial Egalitarians, and Human Genome deniers who will NEVER admit that they were wrong. Don't blame the children, blame the old hippies and multi-cult fokwads.

#4  the press wasn't covering Jimmuhs ass

Jimmy wasn't their creation and the urban culturalists looked upon him as a southern yokel. That quaint uncle, twice removed from the family. The Iran hostage plight played every night through out the election. You had to know, they relished the opportunity to put him in his place.

#5  Any 'election' we're going to hold is a farce, an entertainment for the masses. As devoid of actual function as any Sci-Fi movie you'll watch.

And the millennials will continue to be enamoured with liberals - asking them to behave differently is asking them to A: Grow up, B: throw out everything they've been taught, and C: take responsibility for something for the first time in their lives.

'Aint going to happen.

#6  Should have emphasized living in their parents' basement more. Or that their parents are divorced and living together so Mom can get SS benefits. Or that they can't afford to drive a car.

#7  In all fairness to Jimmy Carter, his Wily Wabbit never put the US-World in such a high state of vulnerability as this.

India-Pakistan
More peace talks? Anyone?
[DAWN] The attacks are no longer confined to military and police bases. They are no longer targeting the poor common man in vegetable markets and mosques.

They have smoothly arrived where their penetration should have been hardest.

They have left their mark at a place where even the high and mighty of the country must frequent every now and then.

Is it time to get serious yet?

Last night's tragic and terrifying attack on the Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
airport has left the country stunned. The international community is no less surprised, but let's deal with reactions at home first.

How?

Well it's all there. The disguises, the heavy weaponry and the intricate planning that apparently had been taking place since long before the peace talks were initiated.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain did not wait too long to claim responsibility for the attack that left at least 18 people dead. According to them, this attack was carried out to avenge the killing of Hakimullah Mehsud in a US drone strike. They also claim that this is just the beginning... so where does that leave us now?

Hopefully united and on the same page? Or perhaps that's still too much to ask of ourselves.

Our politicians started issuing their condemnations as soon as the news of the first victim's death started flashing on our television screens. Some good those will do.

Ben Shapiro's Champ Solution: 'Prosecution Not Impeachment'
[Breitbart] On Thursday, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) stated that he was "not, at this point, calling for impeachment." He continued, "The president has two years left in his term. We hope they pass quickly."

That hope is empty. They will pass slowly. And even should Republicans win back the Senate in 2014, President Champ promises heavy executive action--action that will surely violate the Constitutional delegation of powers.

Which is why, says Breitbart senior editor-at-large Ben Shapiro, impeachment isn't the answer: prosecution is. And in his new book, The People vs. The Champ: The Criminal Case Against The Champ Administration, Shapiro lays out the charges.

"A criminal administration can do virtually anything, without any sort of real consequences," Shapiro writes. "Impeachment is rarely used - in the entire history of the United States, there have been just 19 House impeachments, and just eight of those ended with full removal after a Senate trial. No doubt the founders intended impeachment to be utilized far more often than it has been...But in practice, impeachment has been a failure."

Instead, Shapiro proposes, criminal prosecution of the Obama administration under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act should be on the table.

That act was created as a response to the mafia--it was designed to undermine mob claims of plausible deniability. It was created to hold command and control structures accountable for activities taking place down the chain. Shapiro writes, "Congress expressly worried in the RICO law itself that organized crime was using its money and power to 'subvert and corrupt our democratic processes.' Clearly, those worries were understated. Now the chief threat to the democratic process comes not from the mafia but from within the government itself."

RICO does not rely solely on the Attorney General to prosecute--and in Eric Holder's America, that's a good thing. Civil suits may be filed under RICO, turning citizens into "private attorneys general...undertaking litigation in the public good." Americans become the check on the executive branch--and Shapiro argues for the changes to the law that would make such action possible against what he terms the "Obamob."

"The alternative," Shapiro writes, "is an unanswerable government in which corrupt bargains between corrupt officials predominate, protected by the barrier of plausible deniability. The American people are left out in the cold."
Notorious Chicago gangster Alphonse Gabriel Capone enjoyed a great deal of local success due to his ability to leverage corrupt Chicago cops. His downfall was his inability to leverage the Feds. You can 'lay out' all the charges you wish. Without the DoJ and the Rule of Law, you still have nothing.

#1  Great idea. RICO filings in every state. Music to my ears. At least distract them while nipping at their heels!

#2  And even should Republicans win back the Senate in 2014, President Champ promises heavy executive action--action that will surely violate the Constitutional delegation of powers.

Just pass authorization bills one by one for his veto. In some cases (DoE,EPA,et al), no legal authorization for funding at all. When the government shuts down, there's only ONE person to blame. It's simpler. When he says he'll print money without authorization, just pass a joint resolution telling the citizens they have no obligation to pay taxes either (since the inflationary effect of just printing money is the same as taxes in reducing their real income).

#3  RICO Obama in every state. Good idea. Brings to mind the phrase: Pecked to death by ducks.

#4  I saw a good idea somewhere (think PJMedia) that while no one will impeach the first black president, hamstringing him is easier if the Republicans have both houses.

Cut off funds for his pet projects and impeach jr. level people from his organization. Take him down like the FBI does with the mob. Take out the little guys, work your way up and starve the mob of funds.

#5  Prosecution would make a martyr of him and then the folks would start to rally around him again. I'd rather win elections than get justice or revenge.

My example is Pinochette who was allowed to leave power with a deal not to be prosecuted. Many opposed such a deal but getting him out of power peacefully was more important to the nation of Chile. The president that dictators can be bought off adn removed without bloodshed is far more powerful and useful than justice (at least in most cases).

#6  Prosecution once he leaves office would work in my book. I think Ben is onto something

#7  I have been saying for some time that I would LOVE to see a County Sheriff with a pair show up when Champ lands within his county some day. And attempt to arrest him.

Nice and polite. The SS won't allow it, but it would be AWESOME theater - the list of charges he could be placing him under arrest for could be quite lengthy. Think of the Administration trying to defend the President being a fugitive. LOL Love it!

Home Front: Culture Wars
Obama, Bergdahl and Moral Narcissism
In 1979, Christopher Lasch published The Culture of Narcissism warning of the normalizing of pathological narcissism in our society. Considering events since then, he was evidently on to something. Now, some 35 years later in the Obama era, with the Bergdahl incident only the latest in a parade of endless scandals, we have arrived at a full blown era of what has lately been called Moral Narcissism.

Moral Narcissism is an evocative term for the almost schizophrenic divide between intentions and results now common in our culture. It doesn’t matter how anything turns out as long as your intentions are good. And, just as importantly, the only determinant of those intentions, the only one who defines them, is you.

#1  Narcissism aggravated by galloping solipsism.

Solipsism is the delusion (or absurd philosophical position) that because our knowledge is personal, our personal experience is all there is. Or put differently, solipsism is “(a) the world view that the self is the only thing that can be known and verified; (b) the world view that the self is the only reality” (typical dictionary definition). Taken seriously and acted on in practice, solipsism is a form of profound mental derangement.

#2  The fact that Obama is a failure is a success for our system. In 2010, after Obamacare was rammed down the throats of unwilling citizens, the voters voted for balance in Congress to control a runaway government. Fortunately albeit clunky and slow at times, our system, by design, tends to be self-correcting.

The Obama administration is loaded with moral narcissists, including, obviously, the president himself — Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton etc. The media and Hollywood are also clearly stuffed to the gills with moral narcissists.

We have seen the dangers of a pathologically narcissistic leader and cloying sycophants before, some ~75-85 years ago. The cult of personality very often loses its moral rudder after awhile and slides into destruction. The throngs of adoring, dewy-eyed acolytes in Chicago back in early 2009 should have been a danger sign. Obama was reflected in many of the voters who put Obama over the top in 2008. Let's hope our system continues to self-correct as the result of open-eyed voters who have had enough of this self-aggrandizing narcissist and those who fawn over him.

Holder Is 'Obama's Enforcer' of Racialist, Lawless DOJ Agenda

#1  Would a person who enforces a "racialist agenda" not be racist? A further example of the administration's "weaponization" of the federal government against its opponents--DOJ, EPA, Bureau of Land Management, IRS, Immigration, BATF, etc. Next, the Libary of Congress?

#2  Holder's wife Dr. Sharon Malone, OB/GYN, appears to have some rather interesting connections here in Atlanta as well.

#3  Holder is the biggest disaster we have ever had at AG - he deserves all that can be done to him to harm his rep - and the next administration should damned well charge him criminally.
