Iran Seeks Protection of Its Diplomatic Missions in Afghanistan
Good luck with that, guys. You are Shiite heretics according to your Talib takfiri hosts, and you know what that means.
[TOLONEWS] Tehran has sought protection of its diplomatic missions in Afghanistan and "necessary guarantees" for the safe operation of its diplomatic offices in the country following rallies held by Afghans in various provinces in reaction to reported incidents of harassment of Afghan migrants colonists in Iran.
"The Sovereignty of our Diplomatic Missions MUST be protected *Irony Alert!*"
The call was made by the Iran
...The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both...
Foreign Ministry’s front man, Saeed Khatibzadeh, at a presser, according to a statement by Iranian Foreign Ministry.

"Referring to the deep historical and multi-layered relations between Iranian and Afghan nations and the decades of respectful hospitality of the Iranian people and government to the people of Afghanistan, he warned against the plans of conspirators and ill-wishers between Iran and Afghanistan," the statement read.

"Unfortunately, some clips and comments are being published with the aim of creating phobia of Iran or Afghanistan, which targets the emotions of the people and demands more vigilance from the people and officials of the two countries," the statement added.

This comes as the Afghans set rallies in several provinces where they criticized the reported incidents of Iranian forces mistreatment with Afghan migrants colonists in Iran.

A number of Kabul residents held a rally on Tuesday morning at Sehat Ama Roundabout in reaction to the issue, calling for an end to misconducts towards Afghan migrants colonists in the neighboring country.

"They should stop their bad treatment of Afghans. We Afghans today came out to call on our government and the international community to stop these actions against Afghans," a protestor said.

On Monday, dozens of people erupted into the streets of Herat

city to protest the issue. The protestors threw stones at the embassy and set fire to the embassy gate.
"They are torturing our brothers. What we have done? Did we steal anything? No. We just go there because of poverty," said a protestor in Kabul.

Nation Should Be Consulted on Durand Line Issue: Afghan Envoy
[TOLONEWS] Afghanistan's ambassador to Islamabad called the Durand Line a national issue, saying that the decision over its fate should be referred to the nation.

Sardar Ahmad Khan Shikib, the newly appointed ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to Pakistain, also called on Islamabad to be the first nation to recognize the ruling Afghan government.

"The Durand problem [is] an issue between [our] two countries, it is a type of national issue and we need to refer to the nation, to the Afghans. We cannot decide about the Durand Line," he told Arab News.

Some Pak sources told TOLOnews that efforts are underway to resolve rising tensions over the Durand Line, which is a disputed, de facto border between Pakistain and the Islamic Emirate.

"Efforts are underway from both sides to solve the tension over fencing the Durand Line. Every day, the delegation of the two sides makes contact," said Tahir Khan, a Pak journalist.

Ambassador Shikib urged the international community to recognize the Afghan government.

"This is the natural right of Afghans to be recognized. We call on the international community to recognize us and let us enter a new era," he said.

This comes as tension over the Durand Line fencing has recently escalated between Kabul and Islamabad.

Racist comment by Islamist lawyers causes uproar in Sudan
[SUDANTRIBUNE] April 12, 2022 (KHARTOUM) — A racist comment against the sacked TV director Lugman Ahmed by the defence team of the defendants in the trial of the June 1989 coup caused a national uproar on Tuesday, amid calls to sue these lawyers in court.

On Sunday, the head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan sacked Lugman Ahmed from his post as director of the Radio and Television Corporation. His media advisor justified the dismissal by saying he ignored the head of the state’s news and covered anti-coup protests.

The mic of a video camera of the official news agency SUNA covering the trial broadcast a conversation between two lawyers Abu Bakr Abdel Razek and Mohammed Shawkat, members of the defence team for the leaders of the former regime in the courtroom.

The two Islamists talked about the reasons for dismissing the TV director from his position.

One of them uttered a racist expression towards Lugman Ahmed, describing him as a "slave" and mocking his big nose.

The Sudan News Agency quickly deleted the video posted on its platform.

The Darfur Lawyers Association condemned the racist comment and confirmed they are in contact with the Sudanese journalist to consult on the legal action that could be taken against them.

Eritrea presents new peace initiative to end Sudan's political strife
[SUDANTRIBUNE] April 16, 2022 (KHARTOUM) — Eritrea
...is run by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), with about the amounts of democracy and justice you'd expect from a party with that name. National elections have been periodically scheduled and cancelled; none have ever been held in the country. The president, Isaias Afewerki, has been in office since independence in 1993 and will probably die there of old age...
n government presented Saturday an initiative to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council in Sudan aimed at ending the political strife in the neighbouring country.

Gen. Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan received, for the second time in six days, an Eritrean delegation including Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, and Presidential Adviser Yemane Gebreab.

The same delegation met al-Burhan on April 11 to discuss the political situation in Sudan and expressed the Eritrean government’s solidarity with al-Burhan in his efforts to overcome the ongoing crisis.

According to a statement issued by the Sovereign Council following the meeting, the delegation handed al-Burhan a message from Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.

"The delegation came bearing a vision that aims to bridge the views of the Sudanese parties to resolve the political crisis in the country," further reads the statement.

The initiative was made out of Eritrea’s keenness and desire to establish security and stability in Sudan and the region, further said the Sovereign Council.

However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
it did not elaborate on the Eritrean initiative.

Eritrea had hosted peace talks to end the conflict in eastern Sudan, and a peace agreement was signed that ended an armed rebellion by the East Front in October 2006.

Acting Muslim Brotherhood leader Mahmoud Ezzat sentenced to life for storming Egypt’s eastern borders
[AlAhram] A Cairo Criminal court sentenced acting Moslem Brüderbund leader Mahmoud Ezzat on Sunday to life in prison in the ’Storming of the Borders Trial’, which has been ongoing since 2011.
The process being as much a punishment as the punishment itself is.
Sunday’s verdict is considered a first degree ruling that can be appealed. A life sentence in Egypt carries 25 years in jail.

The Public Prosecution accused Ezzat and other defendants of storming Egyptian prisons and collaborating with Paleostinian Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,, the Moslem Brüderbund’s international leadership, and the Lebanese Hezbollah to create chaos and topple the Egyptian state as well as its institutions. He is also charged with receiving military training from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard to launch military attacks in Egypt in the trial that goes back to 2011.

Ezzat, who was arrested in 2020, was first handed a death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
in absentia in June 2015 in the same case when 20 other defendants received life prison sentences.

Under Egyptian law, in absentia convictions must be re-tried once the defendant is apprehended.

Mahmoud Ezzat was also sentenced in April 2021 to life in prison over charges of murder and terrorism in a case known in the media as the "Guidance Bureau Case."

He was also sentenced in December to life in prison for collaborating with the Paleostinian group Hamas and other foreign organizations and disclosing information pertaining to Egypt’s national security.

The Moslem Brüderbund was designated by the government as a terrorist organization in Egypt in 2013.

UAE-backed forces deploy in Aden ahead of expected return of Saudi-led officials
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Factions loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Sunday have surrounded the city of Aden, ahead of a planned return of officials of the Saudi-formed presidential council.

According to security sources, various formations of the STC have increased their deployment at the level of the province’s directorates, set up checkpoints and deployed anti-aircraft missiles and snipers on rooftops and mountain heights.

The deployment came amid reports of a Saudi decision to return officials from the exiled puppet government and parliament in the coming hours.

According to the sources, the factions refuse to hand over control of Aden, and their movements are a blow to the security efforts concluded in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, which included the formation of a presidential council to replace Abdrabbuh Hadi

Boston Marathon survivors reflect, share outrage over convicted bomber collecting COVID-19 funds
[FoxNews] Dzhokhar Tsarnaev received a stimulus check while in federal prison and nearly escaped a death sentence

As the city of Boston and survivors of the 2013 marathon bombing reflected on the ninth anniversary of the deadly terror attack last week, some spoke out about a federal criminal justice system that has allowed the convicted bomber to collect COVID-19 relief money and other funds as he appeals his death sentence.

Robert Wheeler, a participant in the Boston Marathon who was hailed as a hero for literally giving the shirt off his back to aid victims of the blast, told Fox News that April 15 "still remains as profound and mixed of emotions as the day of my first marathon in 2013."

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, convicted of coordinating the attack with brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, is locked up in a maximum federal prison in Florence, Colorado. The brothers planted two homemade pressure-cooker bombs that killed three people – two women and an 8-year-old boy — and injured over 260 others. Seventeen of those injured lost at least one limb in the attack.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted on 30 terrorism charges and sentenced to death on six of them. A federal court later reversed the death sentence, but the U.S. Supreme Court in March reinstated the punishment in a 6-3 vote.

Tsarnaev was tried, convicted and sentenced to death. He was also ordered to pay $101 million in restitution to the victims.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a shootout with police amid a days-long manhunt. A Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority officer was shot and a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer was killed during the gunfight.

Despite the surviving Tsarnaev being ordered to pay millions of dollars in fines, victims have seen little in compensation. In addition, he received a $1,400 COVID relief payment while incarcerated in the summer of 2021.

In January, a federal judge ordered the Federal Bureau of Prisons to turn over Tsarnaev's stimulus check and funds in his inmate trust to pay victims.

On Friday, the ninth anniversary of the attack, elected officials and residents remembered those who died.

This year's race will be held Monday.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Ra’am freezes its coalition and Knesset membership amid Temple Mount tensions
[IsraelTimes] Move coordinated with Bennett and will last two weeks, in bid to ease pressure on the Arab party while preventing permanent break with government

The Islamist Ra’am party
...the political party of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel. The militant arm is cleverly called the Northern Branch, because it’s based in Umm al Fahm in the Galilee...
on Sunday decided to temporarily freeze its membership in both the Knesset and the coalition amid mounting pressure in the wake of festivities between Paleostinians and police on the Temple Mount.

The decision is largely declarative at this stage, because parliament is in recess, though opposition sources said they saw it as a further opportunity to weaken the coalition, encourage defections, and bring down the government.

According to sources quoted in Hebrew media Sunday, the measure — which will last for two weeks and is coordinated with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid — is aimed to ease the pressure on the party, as well as prevent a permanent break with the government.

Ra’am denounced Israeli security forces over the violence at the Jerusalem holy site, and one of the Islamist party’s politicians threatened to quit the coalition. Ra’am chief Mansour Abbas, however, has downplayed such a prospect and issued repeated calls for calm.

The decision on the temporary freeze was reached during a Sunday meeting of the Shura council of the Southern Islamic Movement — Ra’am’s umbrella organization — to address the violence at the Jerusalem holy site.

The council can make decisions regarding the party and also has the authority to order Knesset members to resign from the coalition.

Founded in the 1980s, the Islamic Movement has been thrust into the spotlight over the past year after Ra’am, which has four Knesset seats, joined the coalition government, the first Arab party to do so in decades.

The movement is informally divided between its more radical "northern" branch and the "southern" leadership, which is considered more moderate. Israel banned the northern branch for alleged terror ties in 2015.

In contrast to some of his firebrand
...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments...
predecessors, Abbas has adopted a pragmatic approach.

Earlier on Sunday, a senior religious figure in the Southern Islamic Movement called on Ra’am to bolt the coalition over the festivities.

The sources said that since the tensions surrounding the Temple Mount have risen as the Knesset is in the midst of its spring recess, Ra’am officials are hoping that by the time parliament reconvenes on May 9, the situation will calm down.

However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
some suggested that the opposition will use the freeze in Ra’am’s membership to intensify its efforts to topple the government.

And Ra’am MK Walid Taha said shortly before the decision was announced that the coalition was "apparently" headed for collapse. "We thought this government would behave differently," he said, citing what he called "provocative" visits by Jews to Temple Mount as the cause of the latest violence. The government, he charged, "allowed a few hundred fascist
...anybody you disagree with, damn them...
s" to stir up trouble.

The current government has been brought to the brink of collapse in recent days after MK Idit Silman, a member of Bennett’s Yamina party, quit the coalition, causing it to lose its razor-thin majority. The 120-member Knesset is now deadlocked, with both the coalition and opposition holding 60 seats apiece.

Some have suggested that the opposition’s Joint List, a majority-Arab party that is separate from Benjamin Netanyahu’s opposition bloc, could help the coalition pass some votes and prevent its fall in a no-confidence vote. The party itself has issued conflicting messages on the matter.

Islamic State calls on supporters in Israel to launch more terror attacks
[IsraelTimes] In Ramadan address, jihadist group criticizes ’secular terrorists’ of Fatah and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
, says Jerusalem can only be liberated through return of the caliphate

Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
on Sunday urged its supporters in Israel to launch additional terror attacks, the first such call since two deadly terror attacks were carried out last month by Arab Israelis thought to have been inspired by the jihadist group.

Islamic State grabbed credit for both attacks, though it did not appear the forces of Evil had been instructed by it to commit them.

In a long address for the holy month of Ramadan, the jihadist group’s new spokesperson Abu-Omar al-Muhajjir called for a new "global offensive" in retaliation for the death of its leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Qurayshi, last February. al-Qurayshi died when he detonated a bomb to avoid capture during a US raid in northwest Syria, the White House and US defense officials said.

"Fight them all and Allah will answer and punish them at your hands," al-Muhajjir said, referring to "heathen states."

The Ramadan address came as Israel has moved to crack down on Islamic State, after six Israelis were killed in a pair of terror attacks in Beersheba and Hadera by Arab Israeli supporters of the jihadist group.

Last week, meanwhile, Israeli authorities announced the arrest of an Islamic state-linked Paleostinian in connection to three murders, including of an elderly Jerusalem couple in their home in 2019.

Al-Muhajjir commented on last month’s two terror attacks in Israel, calling on the group’s supporters to "arm themselves with weapons and carry out further attacks."

At the same time, he argued that Jerusalem could be liberated from the Jews only through the return of the caliphate — and not through a Paleostinian uprising or with the help of "those who have values that change according to the interests of their Roman masters (the West)."

Al-Muhajjir hailed the Arab Israeli attackers as "those who fought and were killed for the sake of Allah and religion," and criticized the "secular terrorists" of Fatah and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad, who are fighting for the land and the homeland.

He also called on all Moslems in the Arab world to oppose all leaders who have relations with Israel and want to make peace with it.

"Modern Moslem politicians trying to liberate Jerusalem are nothing more than puppets in the hands of Israel and the West," he said.

Al-Muhajjir also called on supporters to resume attacks in Europe, taking advantage of the "available opportunity" of "the crusaders fighting each other" — in reference to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
