[CBS] AMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man was arrested Friday for driving a stolen pickup truck to a Space Force Base in Brevard County in what he called a mission from the president of the United States, reports said.
According to WESH 2 News, 29-year-old Corey Johnson, of Ocala, stole a Ford F-150 from Riviera Beach, Florida three days before he drove to Patrick Space Force Base.
When Johnson tried to get on the base, he claimed the President told him in his mind that he needed to take the vehicle and warn government officials that there were U.S. aliens fighting Chinese dragons, WRBW reported.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail. He was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $3,000.
Patrick Space Force Base is home to the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Space Launch Delta 45, which is described as the premier launch delta of the new United States Space Force. The site is located approximately 18 miles away from the Kennedy Space Center.

I do fault him for stealing a carbon-emissions spewing F-150, however it is a good apocalypse vehicle and could handle rough roads damaged by the dragons.

Portia Odufuwa, the woman suspected of opening fire at the Dallas Love Field Airport Monday, has accused her husband of having illicit affairs, according to the Dallas Police.
Odufuwa said it was her husband's infidelity that upset her to cause chaos on Monday.
Dallas police said she had been dropped off at the airport and entered the terminal. "Odufuwa went inside a women’s restroom and a short time later came out into the ticket counter area and fired a weapon several times," police said.
A Dallas police officer nearby engaged the suspect and shot her "in the lower extremities," police said.
No other injuries were reported among passengers, airport workers or responding officers.
It’s unclear if she was aiming at anything specific, Chief Eddie Garcia said at a presser Monday.
"At this point we don’t know where exactly this individual was aiming," Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcie told news hounds earlier.
A witness also said she saw the armed woman dressed in all black, walking in the terminal "with guns up."
"We were at the counter checking in, and I was trying to check in and we heard someone yelling," Judy Rawle told the station. "And we looked up and we saw her walking down with guns up."
Rawle said she had heard from another witness that the suspect "was upset because her husband had got fired from somewhere."
It was also revealed that the suspect was arrested in 2019 for a dismissed Booking photo case.
It was learnt that Odufuwa also previously told police she was ’God’s prophet,’ married to Chris Brown.
But neither of those claims is true.
Odufuwa had a series of run-ins with police, including a misdemeanor case last year when she was ruled unfit to stand trial and ordered to get help for her mental health, New York Daily News reports.
She has been charged with aggravated assault against a public servant, according to online jail records.
Before the airport shooting, Odufuwa had racked up a string of arrests for arson, robbery, criminal trespass and false reporting across North Texas, according to the Dallas Morning News.
In April 2021, she was accused of pulling the fire alarm at a Mesquite hotel after they refused to extend her stay. When police asked for her address, she allegedly gave that of Chris Brown’s mansion.
In October 2019, Odufuwa allegedly set a house on fire, but the Dallas County District Attorney’s office declined to press charges due to a lack of scientific evidence.
After telling police she was "responsible for the fire," she said she had set the blaze because "I am God’s prophet," according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Morning News.
She also allegedly told officers that she wouldn’t say anything else until she talked to Brown, who she identified as her husband.

The suspects — who police believe knew and targeted Bands — fled in a vehicle. They remain on the lam.
"At this time, the shooting does not appear random, as the suspects and victim are possibly known to each other," the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in the report. Hey, yo, homies! You don't like da Burg, dat be okay!

The principal of the Uvalde, Texas, elementary school where an 18-year-old gunman went on a shooting rampage, killing 19 children and two adults, was suspended Monday, Fox News Digital confirmed.
Mandy Gutierrez, the principal of Robb Elementary School at the time of the May 24 mass shooting, was placed on administrative leave with pay on Monday by Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Superintendent Hal Harrell, Ricardo Cedillo, an attorney representing Gutierrez, told Fox News Digital.
Cedillo did not elaborate further in his emailed response on the circumstances of the suspension. Gutierrez is the second school district employee placed on leave since the shooting.
Amid widespread scrutiny over law enforcement response, Uvalde Schools Police Chief Pete Arredondo was placed on unpaid administrative leave in June. A special board meeting to consider his firing was scheduled for Saturday morning, but the school district announced in a statement on Friday that it was canceled per the request of his attorney and will be held at a later date, which has not yet been determined.
In a 77-page report released earlier this month, a Texas House of Representatives investigate committee outlined "systemic failures and egregiously poor decision-making" that contributed to the tragedy.
"The school’s five-foot tall exterior fence was inadequate to meaningfully impede an intruder. While the school had adopted security policies to lock exterior doors and internal classroom doors, there was a regrettable culture of noncompliance by school personnel who frequently propped doors open and deliberately circumvented locks," according to the report. "At a minimum, school administrators and school district police tacitly condoned this behavior as they were aware of these unsafe practices and did not treat them as serious infractions requiring immediate correction."
"In fact, the school actually suggested circumventing the locks as a solution for the convenience of substitute teachers and others who lacked their own keys," the report added.
In addition to suspending the principal, the district school board also agreed to push back the start of the school year for three weeks until Sept. 6, so officials can repair classrooms and other resources.
Gutierrez has worked for the school district for two decades, starting in 2008 as a fourth-grade teacher. She became an assistant principal in 2018 and later became principal in 2021.
The report notes that both Gutierrez and her assistant had known about problems securing the lock for Room 111 – believed to be the classroom 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos entered to carry out his rampage – since around spring break, but a work order was never filed to have the lock repaired.
Gutierrez had just finished an award ceremony and was in her office when she heard a coach report of "shots fired" over the radio. She attempted to initiate a lockdown through an application but had difficulty sending the alert due to a bad Wi-Fi signal, according to the investigative report. She also did not attempt to communicate the lockdown alert over the school’s intercom.
Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District had a scheduled meeting Monday evening.

Anthropologically speaking, racism is ingrained in Asian society worse than anywhere. Did you know some casteist slurs are deeply embedded in Sanskrit and Hindi, references to the inferiority of certain races a matter of 'historic fact' in hindooist philosophy? The Chinese and Japanese have similar cultural thingies. It was the Turks brought african slaves here, and later the Europeans, and all Indians imbibed from the phenomenon was, 'oh these things are Sub-Human maybe... because their masters treat them so' Because casteist segregation and untouchability were already a primary essential of the civilization itself, it was accepted as a normal. Gandhi was a Brahmin, he must've had a proper Brahmin education aside from the English one. Naturally the bias came easily to him. But he realigned his views with the Africans as he grew older. And with all colonized societies in fact. After all he was subjected to the same treatment the black man was, even though he was a successful lawyer. Video of the wild Fort Lauderdale collision shows the white luxury vehicle — which can cost more than $200,000 — getting T-boned by a Nissan SUV after speeding into an intersection.
According to witnesses, the six-figure stunner hit a nearby roof and flipped before coming to rest on the other side and bursting into flames.
"It appears that the car flew through the air about 20 to 30 feet," said Fort Lauderdale Assistant Fire Chief Timothy Heiser told WSVN Miami.
With the car burning and the driver still inside, good Samaritan Clarence Middleton quickly dragged the driver out and laid him down nearby.

In formulating public policy for civilian law enforcement, a key component to establish an acceptable level of public safety and peaceful commerce is the concept of deterrence. Essentially is it the certain belief held by the criminal classes that arrest and prosecution have a high probability of success against their considered criminal act. Further, that incarceration, both long and certain, while humane, is essentially discomforting and highly restrictive of the routine comforts and pursuits of ordinary life. The entire effectiveness of the "broken window" concept is that the visible, rigorous and consistent enforcement of lesser property crimes gives proof to the determination of the police and criminal justice system.
The public invalidation of every aspect of the above, visible routinely, by the leftist political classes in our urban core cities is creating the rapidly evaporating public confidence in the rule of law. What will follow is vigilante justice (law enforcement undertaken without legal authority by a self-appointed group of people), militia formation and tribal balkanization of communities across America. Nations do not survive this devolution of civilzation for long. We allow this to proceed much further at our peril as a free people!

The California State Militia 2nd Regiment — whose website features pictures of men in military fatigues, helmets and assault-style rifles preparing for "the unrest yet to come" — set up a mobile kitchen trailer from Saturday evening through Monday morning in the parking lot of a lumber store in Mariposa, just southwest of the blaze that as of Monday evening had driven nearly 4,000 people from their homes while burning more than 18,000 acres and destroying at least 41 homes and other structures.
There are about 150 members in the militia across California, and about 20 of them, including several Mariposa-area residents and others from nearby counties and one from Bakersfield, showed up to help feed evacuees and offer other services, said militia member Daniel Latner.
"We’re part of the community," said Latner, 44, who lives in Mariposa County and works in logistics. "We’re watching our own community burn down, and even though a lot of the members that came to help, they’re spread out, we’re all part of the same unit, and this is what we do."
Latner estimated that his group fed about 20 families, with food including "local farm fresh eggs and goat milk," pancakes, turkey sausage, sandwiches and fruits and vegetables. Militia members rustled up a three-horse trailer to help people evacuate livestock but didn’t end up using it, Latner said.

The militia in question is disciplined n sober. KINSHASA, Congo (AP) — At least 15 people were killed and dozens of others injured during two days of demonstrations in Congo’s east against the United Nations mission in the country, officials said Tuesday.
The United Nations said one peacekeeper from Morocco and two international policemen from India serving with the U.N. peacekeeping force were slain and a policeman from Egypt was injured at the U.N. base in Butembo in North Kivu province when "violent attackers snatched weapons from Congolese police" and fired on U.N. personnel.
U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the Butembo attack and violence targeting multiple U.N. bases across North Kivu since Monday, U.N. deputy spokesman Farhan Haq said.
Haq said that on Tuesday "hundreds of assailants" attacked bases of the U.N. force in Goma and other parts of North Kivu, "fueled by hostile remarks and threats made by individuals and groups against the U.N., particularly on social media.’"
"Mobs are throwing stones and petrol bombs, breaking into bases, looting and vandalizing, and setting facilities on fire," Haq said. "We are trying to calm things down" including by dispatching quick reaction forces but there is no evidence the violence has ended.
In addition, Haq said at least four incidents targeted the residences of mission staff, who have now been relocated to U.N. camps. A mob also tried to enter the compound of the U.N. Development Program Tuesday but was rebelled by security guards, he said.

Congo’s police said at least six people were killed in Goma on Monday, and eight civilians in Butembo. Earlier, government spokesman Patrick Muyaya said at least five people were killed and about 50 wounded by Monday.
Protesters blamed shots fired by the peacekeepers for the deaths.

Afrikan tribal conflicts just never seem to end.
[FoxNews] A Tennessee police officer is currently jailed in Mexico after Cancun authorities reportedly found a pistol in his luggage.
According to local WKRN, Lemandries Hawes, an officer with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, was arrested at the Cancun airport on July 9. His department said Hawes declared the personally owned firearm with the airline, but Mexican law still prohibits bringing guns into the country.
People forget that Mexico is a different country with its own laws. Of course foreigners forget that about America, too, from time to time.
Hawes was scheduled for a hearing on Monday. Fox News reached out to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Tuesday morning, but they did not have any new information for the time of publication.
Officer Hawes is new to the Metro Nashville police, having just graduated from their academy in February after starting with them in October. According to Fox13, he has more than five years of experience working with Tennessee law enforcement, having previously worked with the Memphis Police Department from March 2017 through September 2021.
A number of Americans have been detained in Mexico on gun charges in recent years. Last October, Arizona man Ira Beavers was sentenced to nearly three years after he and his family drove into Mexico with a gun in their car, that he said he forgot to remove.
In early 2021, Arizona teacher Kayria Rosales spent nearly seven weeks in a Mexican jail for the same offense. Rosales told local News12 that she was with friends on a Spring Break trip when they got pulled over and found the gun that she normally keeps in a travel bag.

The planned talks between the two leaders — the fifth in a series of regular check-ins — have been in the works for weeks. Biden’s comments came after the Financial Times reported last week that Pelosi planned to visit Taiwan in August, a trip she had originally planned to make in April but postponed after she tested positive for COVID-19.
