Syria's foreign fighters were what turned the tide back in favor of Pencilneck. It's a shame they don't connect cause and effect like we do, so there's no lesson to be learned for "next time." Turned the tide for now. Today. The Sunni hard boyz are just cannon fodder, but their masters, the Soddis and Emiratis and so on, aren't stupid. They'll adapt.

A-Q should start targeting Iran and Hezbollah-territory in Leb. Start with minor functionaries and carbombs, like you always do. Hopefully there's a mutual smiting

The question is whether Baby Assad + Regime will still rule in Syria when-n-iff all the Rebs + non-Shia/Iranian Foreign Militant groups are finall defeated.
I'm pretty sure that iff the above occurs, Russia is going to turn its "evil eye" agz any thought of the Hezzies + IRGC Quds Force,
...@etc. aligned remaining in Syria, espec close to their Tartarus base. Moscow may accept regular uniformed/professional units of the Iranian Navy + Air Force, but NOT the irregular Hezzies or Quds Force.
Rice backfill at the UN.
Writing in The Nation, a magazine of the ultra-left, Tom Hayden has illustrated just how dangerous is Powers Responsibility to Protect doctrine. A former California state senator, Hayden is also a 60s flower-power peacenik, whose progressive pedigree can be traced back to Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and Jane Fonda. Quite sure we should trust none of these people, but read on.
According to Hayden, Power is an Irish internationalist; a humanitarian hawk who see[s] war as an instrument for achieving her liberal, even radical, values. She advocates American and NATO military intervention in humanitarian crises. As she sees it, The United States must be prepared to risk the lives of its soldiers to stop the threat of genocide. "Irish internationalist"....pretty much describes the lot.
Hip to Powers hypocrisy, Hayden points out that like U2′s Bono, another Irish human rights activist, she has been less preoccupied by the human rights abuses inflicted by the British during the 30-year war in the northern part of her own country. Indeed, like her neoconservative philosophical clones, Power considers herself a redeemer of mankind but not, mind you, of her own kind. The author reporting on people leaving their country, how revealing.
Power has still to scale the Senate Foreign Relations committee for confirmation. My guess is that the leggy fanatic will clear the hurdle by offering as confirmation quid pro quo a softer stance on, say, Israel. And voila, onward to Syria.

"Hayden is also a 60s flower-power peacenik, whose progressive pedigree can be traced back to Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and Jane Fonda."
Hoffman and Rubin were Yippies who were into guerilla theater in the streets. Sometimes violence followed. They were part of the Chicago 7 back in the 60's era.
Hayden was married to Jane Fonda as I recall. He authored the Port Huron Statement, and was a founder of SDS (which had a violent streak). He was much more than a flower-power peacenik. If he is warning of the dangers of Samantha Powers, I'd be worried about her appointment.

Powers is also married to Cass Sunstein another hard left Obamabot. Let her appear and drill the living shit out of her for her prior vitriol and stoopid leftist ideals. Make it a debacle

Uh, uh, "BARRY + MICHELLE - THE WHITE LOOK/OBAMAS???
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
