Durham Investigation Insiders 'Top Men' Say ‘No Evidence' to Support Obamagate Has Been Found in 18 Months
[Law & Crime] Top prosecutors in the so-called Durham probe into the origins of the Russigate investigation have reportedly found "no evidence" to support the foundational theory that spawned the investigation—namely, that Obamagate occurred and that Barack Obama himself needed to be punished for it.

According to a New York Magazine story relying on anonymous sources "familiar with the probe," U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John Durham has come up empty-handed and is growing increasingly frustrated with Attorney General Bill Barr over developments in the investigation—or, rather, the lack thereof.

Barr, for his part, has reportedly pressured Durham and his team for months over the investigation into the investigation—insisting that the prosecutor release the results before Election Day in an effort to use the full apparatus of the U.S. Department of Justice as a salve for President Donald Trump’s electoral woes.

And while Barr has often energized the president’s base with updates about the progress of the Durham investigation, he has also repeatedly disappointed the same base by not producing high-profile indictments.

"Under the longstanding standards of the department, criminal charges are appropriate only when we have enough evidence to prove each element of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. That is the standard we’re applying," Barr said in late May when asked a question about potentially incriminating former President Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden.

The 77th and 85th attorney general also name-dropped the heads of the prior administration during that news conference.

"There is a difference between an abuse of power and a federal crime," Barr continued. "Not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is a federal crime. As to President Obama and Vice-President Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern over potential criminality is focused on others."

The Biden Rat Years
[Apelbaum] Several MSM outlets have been challenging the validity of Tony Bobulinski’s claims regarding Joe Biden’s and his brother Jim’s involvement with Hunter’s China business activity. The latest NY Post forensic evaluation confirmed that Bobulinski’s email was legit. But apparently, this is not good enough for propaganda outlets like CNN, NYT and WaPo which continue to challenge these emails and any claim of "family" involvement.

The following is a small sampling of documents and other digital evidence that confirms Bobulinski’s assertions. This content has been certified via traditional computer forensic techniques and has been authenticated via these sources and methods:

1. Hunter Biden’s official identification documents such as driver license, passport, and birth certificate
2. A variety of Hunter Biden’s financial records
3. Detailed records of wire transfer activity into and out of his accounts
4. Source documents
5. Email and messaging activity
6. Voice recordings
7. Imagery, video, cell phone, laptop, and geospatial linkages

Election Outcome Predicted To Have No Major Effect On Eternity
[BabylonBee] "Neither outcome will have any effect on God’s power," said the angel Gabriel after getting through his standard "be not afraid" spiel. "It’s all inconsequential in the face of the eternity you should all be striving for. I mean, it's kind of hilarious to watch all of you freaking out about this, but seriously -- chill out."

Inside Look at Polling Methods and Their Failure Points
[MediumCom Via CFP] Wick is not a partisan polling company. We exist to create technology and thought leadership that accelerates the market research industry’s journey to more speed, affordability, and accuracy. We withheld this article until the day before the election to limit the politicization of its data and insights for the media interests of either party.

From the author:

We are predicting that Donald Trump is going to win re-election. In our most recent battleground polls in the 6 states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, and Ohio he is up by over 2% in all but Michigan (for those results scroll to the end of this article).

But what’s more interesting than our prediction that he will win, and why we are writing this article, is that all of our polls until last week had Trump losing by similar margins to what you have probably seen in the news.

What caused this change?

Economy
Economic data show a strong US economy doesn't need 'building back'
[Washington Examiner] "V-shaped recovery" is not a technical term in economics, and it lacks a formal definition. But what could it possibly look like, if not like the economic recovery currently underway?

At the beginning of October, the Bureau of Labor Statistics delivered the shocking and encouraging news that unemployment had plummeted from its coronavirus high of 14.7% in April to just 7.9% in September. This meant that unemployment had crashed down into the single digits a full year before experts had predicted.

Then this week, the Bureau of Economic Analysis revealed that GDP grew at an annualized rate of 33.1% in the third quarter of the year. That number shatters a 60-year-old record for economic growth in a single quarter. It means that already nearly all of the losses from the coronavirus have been regained already and at a pace no one expected.

This serves as further evidence that there is a great fundamental strength in the economy. Even after seven months of illness, death, and government-imposed economic restriction, the economy maintains its underlying strength.

As Election Day closes in, Democrats, especially Joe Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, have tried to insinuate that not only that President Trump caused the coronavirus, but also that he caused the resulting recession. The fallacy of this allegation is increasingly evident as the economy recovers without any need to, as Biden once put it, "Build Back Better."

Snopes Rates Biden's Claim That He Has Best Strategy To Mobilize Trunalimunumaprzure As 'Mostly True'
[Babylon Bee] U.S.—Biden made what some are calling a "dubious claim" during a Pennsylvania speech in which he claimed he had the best strategy to "mobilize trunalimunumaprzure." Republicans immediately pounced on the statement with the intriguing counterclaim that Biden is "a hollow shell of a man being cynically used as a placeholder for Communists attempting to infiltrate the government."

Fortunately, the dedicated arbiters of truth at Snopes were on the case, and were able to confirm that Biden's claim was "mostly true."

"While our experts disagreed on the exact meaning of 'trunalimunumaprzure,' there is consensus that Biden has the best strategy to mobilize it, whatever it is," the summary read.

Some are saying that trunalimunumaprzure is an ancient Sumerian word for "international diplomacy." Other experts have concluded the word to be a coded message to China that relations will be normalizing soon.

Some Republicans, on the other hand, have concluded that the word means Biden is a senile old coot who has no business running for office. Snopes looked into this claim and determined it to be false.

Something's happening here: Trump and Ernst surge to substantial leads in final Des Moines Register polls
[LI] The polls are going to drive people to madness, the people that is who obesess about polls. Just because so much of polling is garbage, however, does not mean all polling is garbage.

It might happen that Biden has a sweep, that can’t be ruled out, if he really, truly is ahead by 7.8% nationally (today’s RCP average). That’s double the Hillary national average advantage.

But there are just too many things that don’t align with that narrative, that suggest the national averages not only may be more wrong than in 2016, they may be particularly wrong in the swing states that matter and will decide who wins the electoral college.

I never thought of Iowa as a swing state, but it probably is. Obama won it by 9 points in 2008 and 5 points in 2012, Trump won it by almost 10 points in 2016.

Iowa also famously recently was put by the Cook Political Report into the toss-up column for both the presidential and Senate races, suggesting Trump was going down hard if he was barely hanging on in a state he won easily in 2016. Man, if Trump is running 10 points behind 2016 and Joni Ernst is in serious trouble, then maybe those national averages are right. Depressing.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.

#2  They dont need PA or FL to win, but if Trump locks those in, then any on of the three upper midwest seals the election for Trump: MI WI MN. And those states tend to vote similarly to Iowa as of late. If you hear 2 of those 3 called for Trump, along with PA and FL, then its over barring oddities in NC or GA.

CBS Admits Trump Can Win With Expected Election Day Surge
[WIRE] CBS News reported Sunday evening that, despite the onslaught of mainstream polls outlining otherwise, President Donald Trump could win re-election on Tuesday night if he gets the turnout that is expected come Election Day.

The news network noted of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s suspected lead with early voting in key states while emphasizing that Trump supporters are far more likely to turn out on Election Day, which they likened to a "Republican-surge scenario."

"Joe Biden heads into Election Day preferred by voters who have already cast their ballots early. President Trump has a lead among those who plan to show up on November 3," CBS said.

"We estimate from our polling that Mr. Trump is doing, on average, over 30 percentage points better among likely Election-Day voters than early voters. We know the approximate size of the early vote so far, and we vary the potential size of the Election-Day vote to explore two scenarios," the network explained. "In our Republican-surge scenario, the size of the Election-Day vote is relatively large, so given that these voters break for Mr. Trump, it mitigates Biden’s early-vote edge, and Mr. Trump inches out close wins in enough states to go over 270. (We increased the size of the Election-Day vote by an average of seven points in this scenario, while keeping vote preference among early voters and Election-Day voters fixed.)"

Here’s what the map would look like in the Republican Election Day "surge" scenario, per CBS:

Whoopi Goldberg compares Texas Trump caravan 'a scene from Mississippi Burning'
[MAIL] Whoopi Goldberg sparked outrage by comparing a convoy of Trump supporters accused of 'ambushing' a Biden campaign bus on a Texas highway to a scene from the movie Mississippi Burning.

Goldberg and her co-hosts reacted to the Biden bus incident on Monday's episode of The View, broadcasting video which showed a number of MAGA flag-flying cars driving perilously close to the bus on Interstate 35 in Hays County last week.

The Biden campaign accused the Trump caravan of trying to run the bus off the road, while President Trump publicly praised the participants and slammed the FBI for opening an investigation into the incident.

Goldberg sided with the Biden camp, calling the incident: 'Probably one of the most dangerous things you can do.'

'Buses can't stop on a dime, and be happy that you drivers didn't get hit when you surrounded this bus,' she said.

'You could have caused all kinds of havoc. You could have gotten yourselves killed, because the buses can't slow down the way you need them to.'

'Thank God this person saw and slowed in order to let you do what you did, which looked a lot like a scene out of Mississippi Burning.'

Mississippi Burning (1988) chronicled the FBI's investigation into the disappearance of three civil rights activists who were murdered by the Klu Klux Klan in 1964 in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Why I Will Vote for Trump: Sergiu Klainerman , Professor Of Mathematics, Princeton University
[Newsweek] As the election impends, I feel an irresistible need to explain why I am going to vote for President Donald Trump. It is considered suicidal for an academic today to be upfront about this. Indeed, it is said that 95 percent of all U.S. academics hold Trump in contempt—and most of the remaining 5 percent, who may agree with me, would never dare to admit it in public.

So why do it? As a former refugee from totalitarian, communist Romania, I feel a moral obligation to speak out and prove that academics don't need to think and act in lockstep.

Like many of my colleagues, I find much of what Trump says and tweets on impulse distasteful, though his prepared speeches can be inspiring. I didn't vote for him in 2016. Though a registered independent, I find myself almost always opposed to the Democratic candidate. I am opposed to many of the things Democrats push for: big-government programs, heavy regulations, higher taxes, weak foreign policy with an over-reliance on ineffective and often corrupt international institutions and, worst of all, raw identity politics.

Biden Polling Well Among Pentecostals After He Speaks In Tongues
[BabylonBee] Pentecostals across the nation are swinging toward Biden after an event at Dallas High School in Pennsylvania. According to stunned witnesses, Biden became filled with the Spirit and uttered the incomprehensible word "trunalimunumaprzure" toward the end of his speech.

"Man -- I was leaning toward Trump," said local Assemblies of God pastor Chet Whipperton. "But Biden really brought the fire today. I haven't seen an outpouring like that since Trump tweeted the mysterious angelic phrase 'covfefe.' I haven't decided for sure, but Biden is looking pretty good after today."

Pentecostal scholars have asked for someone with the spiritual gift of interpretation to step forward and translate the mysterious phrase "trunalimunumaprzure" so the world may understand Biden's mysterious utterances.

"This may be the key to the election!" said Whipperton.

After a nationwide search, an interpreter named Bo Bittington was found in Kentucky. "Trunalimunumaprzure? That's easy, man," said Bittington. "It means Trump's gonna win."

Experts in the Biden camp consulted their own spiritual interpreters, who confirmed that the phrase means Biden will win.

Both camps are looking forward to finding out who was right when all the votes are counted in 8 months.

#3  Columnist Art Buchwald was a treasure. My favorite was his article about how the US Department of Agriculture was our real Spy Agency ("Nobody suspects them!"). Supposedly this triggered the Russians into sending out embassy staffers to check all those many Agricultural stations scattered everywhere.

Tin Foil Hat or Not? You Decide
[NoQ Via CFP] Dave Janda of Operation Freedom (www.DaveJanda.com) has unleashed a bombshell story with huge implications for Tuesday’s elections. Janda’s guest in his latest broadcast is a former high-level intelligence official (Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney) who warns that the Dems and the CIA have put in place a mechanism which can alter the voting results of electronic voting machines in key swing states (like Pennsylvania) that will determine the outcome of the election.

This covert technology is called Operation Scorecard, and it was built by the CIA to surreptitiously steal elections in targeted countries. Now, that technology is being turned against the United States of America and is about to be activated on Tuesday to steal the election for Biden, explains Janda’s guest.

Did the Dems Surpress their Own Vote with COVID Fear?
[The Blaze] The left has remade our society, economy, and interpersonal relationships through irrational fear of a virus and illogical worship of social isolation as a panacea. Well, what if they did such a good job convincing people that they will die if they go out and stand on line to vote that they have suppressed their own voters? Remember, it's mainly liberals who believe in the cult of COVID lockdowns. Well, evidence from early voting data throughout the country hints at such a remarkable electoral phenomenon unfolding.

The story is the same in many critical areas. While we don't know the ballot choices of those who voted early, we do know the party registration breakdown in most states. And in nearly every critical state, Republicans are doing much better than they did in 2016 in terms of in-person early voting. Given that Trump won in 2016 and the electorate will only get more favorable for Republicans on Election Day itself (because the majority of Democrats vote early), this portends an outcome way out of sync with the majority of polls.
Don't we have enough reasons to distrust the commie polls?
Nowhere is this more evident than in Florida. Republicans are downright winning in-person early voting in terms of turnout by voter registration in Miami-Dade County, one of the state's most liberal jurisdictions. Yes, Democrats did bank a lot of mail-in votes, but because Republicans are doing so well with in-person early voting, they are ahead of their 2016 benchmarks in nearly every critical county — and remember, Trump carried Florida in 2016. Democrats are now faced with the prospect of trying to make a last-minute effort for people to vote in person in south Florida because the mail-in ballots came up short.

The Democratic governor in Wisconsin sounded the alarm about the failure of mail-in ballots to turn out all their voters they need just to stay on par with 2016. At a press conference on Friday, Gov. Tony Evers warned Democrats to vote in person, not by mail. They are discovering the obvious fact that if even 10%-20% of their traditional base throw out their paper mail, which is very common in this day and age, they will lose their baseline votes unless they turn them out on Election Day.

There's just one problem: It's too late. By definition, most of the people in this country who have refused to leave their homes for seven months are Democrat voters. Democrats have done such a good job at convincing people they will die from the virus that they have fearmongered themselves into electoral oblivion.

In Pennsylvania, there is no in-person early voting — only mail-in voting — so naturally, Democrats have a strong edge in turnout of returned ballots so far. But again, just like we are seeing in the other states, those mail-in ballots are likely not enough to overcome the drop-off in their in-person voting. On Saturday, the Washington Post reported that Pennsylvania Democrats are worried about "potential trouble with mail-in ballots during a pandemic" and "signs of lower-than-anticipated turnout among the Democratic base."

In past years, Democrats would carefully monitor those who failed show up in early voting or declined to mail in a ballot and offered to take them to the polls on Election Day. Well, good luck doing that this year with all their voters who were convinced that stepping out in public is a death sentence.

Obviously, we will all find out Tuesday night whether these numbers really portend a Trump victory. But if he winds up winning, it will likely be because the very people who locked down our lives and liberty successfully locked down their own vote.

Olde Tyme Religion
Attacks on Christians show hypocrisy of 'blasphemy' controversy
[Jpost] Why would being offended by a cartoon lead a man to attack a church?

A man who beheaded a person in a church in Nice, La Belle France was radicalized by a recent controversy over another beheading in La Belle France. The chain of events shows that bully boyz thrive off rumors of religion being "insulted" to then attack other religions, which would appear contradictory since media reports indicated that French "secularism" was to blame for the attacks. The attacks on French churches are not unique; bully boyz have targeted them in the past, killing a priest in 2016.

Several media analyses and commentaries have pointed to La Belle France’s "extreme form of secularism" as the reason that bully boyz are "angry" at La Belle France. However,

Science & Technology
Your favorite music can send your brain into a pleasure overload
[Med Press] We all know that moment when we're in the car, at a concert or even sitting on our sofa and one of our favorite songs is played. It's the one that has that really good chord in it, flooding your system with pleasurable emotions, joyful memories, making your hair stand on edge, and even sending a shiver or "chill" down your spine. About half of people get chills when listening to music. Neuroscientists based in France have now used EEG to link chills to multiple brain regions involved in activating reward and pleasure systems. The results are published in Frontiers in Neuroscience.

Thibault Chabin and colleagues at the Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté in Besancon EEG-scanned the brains of 18 French participants who regularly experience chills when listening to their favorite musical pieces. In a questionnaire, they were asked to indicate when they experienced chills, and rate their degree of pleasure from them.

"Participants of our study were able to precisely indicate "chill-producing" moments in the songs, but most musical chills occurred in many parts of the extracts and not only in the predicted moments," says Chabin.

When the participants experienced a chill, Chabin saw specific electrical activity in the orbitofrontal cortex (a region involved in emotional processing), the supplementary motor area (a mid-brain region involved in movement control) and the right temporal lobe (a region on the right side of the brain involved in auditory processing and musical appreciation). These regions work together to process music, trigger the brain's reward systems, and release dopamine—a "feel-good" hormone and neurotransmitter. Combined with the pleasurable anticipation of your favorite part of the song, this produces the tingly chill you experience—a physiological response thought to indicate greater cortical connectivity.

"The fact that we can measure this phenomenon with EEG brings opportunities for study in other contexts, in scenarios that are more natural and within groups," Chabin comments. "This represents a good perspective for musical emotion research."
