Chicago teen shot 24 times while buying snacks, family says
[NY Post] If this pic of the 15 yr old is up-to-date, I'm Trayvon Martin
A 15-year-old boy has died after he was shot 24 times near a Chicago gas station while he was out buying snacks, his family said.
24 times? Someone wanted him DRT
Sincere Cole was fatally injured in the Chicago Lawn area Saturday night when the unidentified gunman opened fire, WGN9 reported.

Police haven’t yet revealed if they have any suspects, and the boy’s family are begging any witnesses to come forward.

"I’ve got to stand up here and scream from inside out and make sure I get the word out so he won’t be another name, another number, another tag," his aunt and legal guardian, Brandy Martin, said from the scene of the shooting.

Martin said she hopes surveillance footage from nearby stores and apartments will help solve the crime.

The grieving aunt said Sincere was a "lovable kid" who was often misunderstood after his mother, Felon Smith, was fatally struck by a Chicago Transit Authority train in 2019.

She described him as an "ambitious" child who had taken initiative to better his life.
"He was an aspiring rapper, turning his life around"

#11  Perhaps the parent-person who gave 'Sincere' his name is an Oxford scholar, fond of Jacobean poetry?
from the OED
'sincere', adj.
d. (Obscure) Free from hurt; uninjured
Popular: free of holes
From John Dryden's Metamorphoses:

... and threw: the trembling weapon pass'd
Through nine bull-hides, each under other plac'd,
On his broad shield; and stuck within the last.
Achilles wrench'd it out; and sent again
The hostile gift: the hostile gift was vain.
He try'd a third, a tough well-chosen spear;
Th' inviolable body stood sincere,

Flu Season Turned Out to be Mild, Despite Recent Omicron Surge
[Dallas Morning News] Throughout the pandemic, health experts have warned of the disastrous impacts from a severe flu season coupled with a COVID-19 surge on an already overwhelmed health care system.

And although people for some time feared "flurona," or getting the flu virus and COVID-19 at the same time, health experts say it’s been a relatively rare occurrence.

So far this year, Dallas County has had a mild flu season despite the rapid spread of the omicron variant of COVID-19 over the past several weeks. County and state trends mirror what’s been seen across the country — nationally, only 2.6% of all influenza tests since Oct. 3, 2021, have come back positive, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

But how can the flu virus be so low when omicron was surging? Here’re some questions, and answers from the experts.
Lots of expert guessing at link.

'These are serious ethical issues': James O'Keefe demands answers after FDA executive officer is caught on Project Veritas hidden camera admitting Biden will force an ANNUAL Covid shot that would be a 'recurring fountain of revenue' for drug firms
  • FDA executive Christopher Cole was secretly recorded by a Project Veritas undercover employee posing as his date during a series of dinner meetings

  • He was caught on camera dishing out his thoughts about vaccine mandates, saying he believed they would be become annual requirements

  • He also suggested that the Biden administration had financial incentives for pushing the vaccine, saying they're a 'recurring' source of income

  • During a follow-up Project Veritas interview, Cole said he'd been tricked during a 'hack job' investigation and that his comments were taken out of context

  • He said his office was not involved in the approval of vaccines

  • Project Veritas Founder James O'Keefe is now demanding the FDA answer to the allegations that its officials are motivated by the 'fountain of revenue' it receives from pharmaceutical companies

  • O'Keefe told Sean Hannity Wednesday night: 'There are serious ethical issues'

Hackers Crash GiveSendGo, Leak 98,000 Trucker Donor Names to Help Trudeau 'Follow the Money'
[PJMedia] “Hello GiveSendGo Grifters and Hatriots," read the screen after organized hackers crashed the site, plundered data, and leaked the names of 98,000 people who gave money to the Freedom Convoy truckers via the crowdfunding website.

Canada’s government-sponsored news media, CBC, began reporting details of the plunder soon thereafter. Indeed, the government journalists are reportedly emailing people who gave money to the fund to demand they explain themselves.

Rebel News reported that CBC news hounds were "doxxing Trudeau’s political opponents. They’re teeing them up for financial punishments. This is not journalism, any more than Der Sturmer or Pravda was journalism."

The GiveSendGo crowdfunding website was disabled for two days after the hack.

GiveSendGo’s website has been restored.

CBC reports that about 56% of the donors to the website come from the United States. It’s unclear what their legal liability is under Trudeau’s Emergency Act, but you can bet Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity, except maybe for abandoning Afghanistan...
will help him.

The hack came after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
...hereditary prime minister of the same country that once produced McKenzie King...
and his cabinet announced that, under terrorism laws, they would freeze all bank accounts and halt insurance to Canadian truckers who participated in the protests. Government media outlet CBC reported that, starting immediately, the federal government declared "crowdfunding and payment services providers must register with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC)."

Following this announcement, Trudeau invoked the Emergency Act, in which he took over all policing and arrogated to himself the power to change all laws by fiat.

BLM Louisville posts $100,000 bail for activist who tried to assassinate Democratic mayoral candidate
[HotAir] Reasonable minds can differ, I guess, but if I had 100 large lying around earmarked for bailing out criminal suspects, I’d probably start with the nonviolent mostly peaceful offenders.

Not the would-be assassins charged with attempted murder.

Ed wrote yesterday about the curious case of Quintez Brown, who allegedly walked into the campaign headquarters of Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg on Monday morning while Greenberg was meeting with aides, pulled a pistol, and fired. (Brown had been known to locals in the past as, uh, a gun-control advocate.) No one was maimed, miraculously, although Greenberg claims that Brown aimed right at him and that one bullet grazed the back of his sweater.

Police said yesterday that the motive isn’t known. Some have speculated that Brown targeted Greenberg because of his pro-police agenda: "The top issue on Mr. Greenberg’s campaign website is public safety. An eight-page plan outlines his desire, among other things, to hire nearly 300 coppers and to dedicate more resources to solving violent mostly peaceful crime and making sure illegal guns stay off the streets." Per the Free Beacon, Brown wrote a newspaper column last year titled, "Louisville’s huge police budget is the real boogeyman traumatizing Black people."

But there’s another possibility. Ed noted yesterday that some of Brown’s online ravings about "scientific socialism" suggest a man struggling with his mental health, raising the possibility of an incoherent motive a la Jared Loughner in the shooting of Gabby Giffords. That’s precisely what Brown’s lawyer claimed at his arraignment yesterday, in fact:

During a Tuesday arraignment, defense attorney Rob Eggert "urged the court to recognize Brown’s mental state," the Courier-Journal continued. Eggert reportedly said his client had "mental and emotional issues" and declared that the case involved "mental health" — "not a hate crime."

The defense attorney told the newspaper that his client was "severely mentally ill and needs treatment, not prison." Brown, per his attorney, had "a mental health breakdown and hasn’t slept for days or weeks."

Either he’s a cold-blooded politically motivated attempted killer or dangerously unbalanced. Not a great candidate for pretrial release, in other words, unless he’s released to a mental hospital. Which, according to this report, he wouldn’t be. If he’s bailed out, he’d be under house arrest.

And as of this afternoon, he has been bailed out. Credit goes to the Louisville Community Bail Fund, "a project by Black Lives Matter Louisville."

It’s weird to me that Brown is eligible for bail at all given the potential risk he poses to the community. But the LCBF apparently hasn’t let a suspect’s propensity to re-offend deter it from bailing out dangerous suspects in the past.

Everyone deserves a defense and a fair trial, but I ... can’t help but think LCBF could be more discerning in deciding which potential beneficiaries of scarce bail funds are most worthy.

And ironically, it’s apt to become ammunition against the progressive cause of bail reform. The average person will look at Brown being sprung, I suspect, and conclude that the courts are far too lax in granting pretrial release, not too strict by tying freedom to one’s ability to pay.

The LCBF is promising to help Brown get mental-health help now that he’s free, for what it’s worth.

The Unraveling ‘Equity' Racket
[Spectator] The 19th-century black educator Booker T. Washington feared that opposition to racism would turn into a financial racket. His fears have been realized. Many of today’s self-appointed scourges of racism conform perfectly to Washington’s words of warning: "I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public."

The organization Black Lives Matter is such an obvious scam that even liberals in California are losing patience with it. California’s attorney general has told the organization to stop online fundraising and turn over outstanding tax documents. "BLM was given 60 days to file tax and charity documents for 2020 — the year it previously confirmed collecting a staggering $90 million, with at least $60 million left over after expenses and grants," reports the New York Post.

What the COVID-19 Pandemic Reveals About Baby Boomers
[Spectator] Had members of the Greatest Generation been at today’s seats of power, the suffering and untold damage inflicted upon our nation’s children during the COVID-19 pandemic could have been minimized. Instead, today’s decision-makers are often Baby boomers, the demographic cohort born between 1946 and 1964. Baby boomers sit at the helm of American institutions, including teachers unions and governorships, giving them the ability to dictate and legislate harmful mandates. Throughout the pandemic, the boomers’ stereotypical selfish and self-indulgent tendencies were reflected in their demands that children sacrifice for the sake of adults.

Emblematic of a generation born in the aftermath of the Great Depression and World War II, at the core of the Baby boomers’ character is an aversion to risk. As children of parents who were the first to achieve middle-class success, Baby boomers were no longer tethered to their ancestors’ deprivations. Rather, their idealism was accommodated and indulged at educational institutions and by the preceding generation, who unlike the boomers, labored and fought for their achievements.

Today, perhaps no leader bears more responsibility for inflicting harm on children than Randi Weingarten, who was born in 1957 and is president of the American Federation of Teachers.

Seems to this boomer that the Karens or the world are to blame.

Want to work from home, even if going to the refrigerator or sleeping late is not work. Want everyone treated equally, even if that means a neurosurgeon must be treated the same ass a meth smoking serial killer. Wanting is not an entre to having. But they don't teach that in the gumnmint schools.

Dems Declare ‘Unconditional War on Racism' in Bill Establishing a $70bn Federal, ‘Reconciliation' Agency.
Exactly the kind of thing they pass in the House to thrill the rubes, knowing it won’t go anywhere in the Senate.
[NationalPulse] "Declaring unconditional war on racism and invidious discrimination and providing for the establishment of a Cabinet-level Department of Reconciliation charged with eliminating racism and invidious discrimination," reads a summary of the bill, which was introduced on February 9th.

Over 30 House Democrats have signed onto the bill, with key co-sponsors including Congressman Ilhan Omar, Maxine Waters, Rashida Tlaib, and January 6th Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson. The bill has now been referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

The document makes several claims that the U.S. continues to uphold institutionalized racism before outlining potential remedies:

"Whereas racism and invidious discrimination—like poverty in 1964—remain pervasive in our country; Whereas history is replete with examples of victims of racism and invidious discrimination being denied life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; Whereas systemic and institutionalized racism and invidious discrimination exist in virtually all areas of American life, including policing, criminal justice, housing, banking, voting, employment, education, the environment, and health care..."

Man kicked off flight because he wore a mask that said ‘LET'S GO BRANDON'
[Right Scoop] A man was reportedly kicked off an Allegiant Airlines flight this week because he’d written ’Let’s Go Brandon’ on his mask.

The incident was originally recorded yesterday by Dgotch on Tiktok and they noted in the video that this was about the passenger having the phrase on his mask.

It was then picked up by LibsofTiktok on Twitter and here we are.

#1  Probably little more than a coincidence:

WIKI Sponsorships - In July 2018, Allegiant became the official airline of Minor League Baseball (MiLB).[61] In September of the same year, Allegiant partnered with the National Hockey League's Vegas Golden Knights as the "Official Domestic Airline Partner".[62] On June 3, 2019 soccer club FC Cincinnati announced that they had entered a multiple-year agreement with Allegiant making them the club's official airline partner. The agreement includes club and stadium assets, game-day experience and more. Allegiant also offers its popular Fan Flyaway Program to FCC fans. FCC's TQL Stadium also has a entry gate named after the airline.[63] On August 5, 2019, Allegiant inked a 20-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) for the naming rights to the team's new home, Allegiant Stadium, in Paradise, Nevada.[64] Allegiant is also a main sponsor with GMS Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. In January 2020, Allegiant became the official airline of the Indianapolis Colts.[65]

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
COVID Numbers Don’t Make Sense

The Covid-19/22 numbers are not making sense.

On checking the Covid-19/22 Infection numbers ending Feb. 16th, 2022 the following was noted.

Examples:
The public was presented with the following official data telling us that the USA had 900,897 "claimed" cases of Covid-19/22 in the last 7 days.

Note: While the media omits that is DOWN 40% over the previous week and we are only hearing the MSM going with the panic angle announcing the USA has had 900,000+ new Covid-19/22 cases. Since the MSM uses the old press saying "if it bleeds it leads", they usually cite 2020 Year To Date total figures and show humpback cyclical graphs, or bar charts that present doom and gloom over the improvement we are making and seeing.

The MSM runs misleading panic headlines like "USA sees largest Covid-19 increase since M/D/Y". Or, "(Insert location) saw dramatic increases in Covid-19/22 infections in the last ___ days."

SOME FACTS
This past week a few media outlets are using headlines or speaking points like "As Covid-19 Deaths in the USA near 1 million...".

While in the past week there were just over 13,900 "claimed" new deaths in that 7-day period, the MSM seems to avoid mentioning these numbers are far better than previous dates in the last 90 days. Nor do they note the fact that Russia and Germany had more infection cases than the USA in the last 7 days and 14 days.

In its haste to sell Doom and Gloom to USA viewers and readers, the MSM is missing an important news story.

There is a disproportionately larger number of "claimed" deaths for the USA at 42 p/mil, vs. Russia at 34 & Germany at 14 p/mil. Why isn't the MSM asking the deeper question? Is the USA's medical system failing to meet Russia and Germany's medical care standards and levels?

QUESTION: Why is it that other countries have greater infection numbers, but lower death rates than the USA?

Because according to published data collected from Official Sources, Russia had 34.51% more Covid-19 infections than the USA in the last 7 days. Yet the USA data "claims" we had 183.61% more "claimed" Covid-19/22 recorded deaths than Russia for the same timeframe.

Germany has had 29.23% more Covid-19 infections than the USA in the last 7 days. Yet the USA data claims we had 1063.35% more "claimed" Covid-19 recorded deaths than Germany for the same timeframe.

NOTE: It is not just the last 7 days. Because the Official Data for the preceding 7 days to that was even further out of wack.

SUMMARY:
Is this more proof that the Officially "claimed" USA Infection to Death numbers just are not making sense or following any logic?

Is it true there is $$$$ in reporting infections numbers and "related" deaths?

Just how many of the "claimed" Covid-19 Deaths are the primary reason for the death and not a related factor?

#1  Because many of the deaths here are actually caused by this experimental gene therapy that has been fraudulently touted as a traditional vaccine.

This therapy is not safe. It is not effective for anyone who's not elderly or obese. It is at least an order of magnitude more harmful to young men in particular than simply exposing oneself to this virus which is now merely endemic, seasonal flu.

Pfizer's own trials data, which they (with the help of Fauci and the government) are desperate to suppress and which our idiot journalists ignore, makes this abundantly clear.

#3  He's clearly a power-mad corrupt little bureaucrat who's too big for his britches. Just pay him to leave this country permanently.

He might find a home in Germany, home of Pfizer's corrupt partner firm, but not anywhere south or east of Italy. That whole world rejected the Fauxi-Pfizer-Moderna madness and has not had anywhere near the death spike we've endured.

And of course none of the sufferers or the dead victims' estates can sue Pfizer or Moderna because this vile dwarf and our corrupt, easily-cowed elites gave those companies immunity through the EUA vehicle. Only in America. SHAME.

#6  Brandon, Fauxi and Walensky all lies, repeatedly and brazenly, last spring when they each pushed the false promise that what they called mass vaccination would "stop the spread" -- in April-May they each told the public said this spread would be halted by Fall 2021.

They used false premises to induce the public to take this gene therapy, with disastrous results.

Then they demonized and slandered the brave scientists who called them on their bullshit -- scientists who each have more expertise in virology and mRNA therapies than the entire contemptible crew of Fauxi, Walensky and all the ridiculous little county "public health" kommisars wreaking havoc on citizens across the nation.

#14  Ironically, those north European nations that have socialized healthcare systems -- Britain, Denmark, Sweden, for ex. -- also have the cleanest, most consistent and most accurate datasets regarding vaxxed vs unvaxxed infection rates and hospitalization and death rates.

And the UK, Danish and Swedish data now are unequivocal: for all but the elderly and comorbid esp obese cohorts, the "vaccine" is more harmful than the virus. Which is why all theee governments have given up trying to maintain the facade any longer and are now ending their mandates.

Scotland and Canada also have data that show this appalling fact, but those nations' Woke governments, but to keep the grand illusion alive, they've simply withdrawn the data from public view.

And in the US, Fauxi & Co. have been able to continue with the illusion because our nation's data are full of holes and inconsistencies, self-reported distortions from VAERS, and outright fraud and monkey business.

But truth abides. It's all their in the U.K. data set -- and in Pfizer's trial data, and in the Israeli studies, and in the vast data from India and dozens of countries that resisted the mad embrace of Pfizer and Moderna's horrific medical experiment.

30 retirements and counting: Moderate House Dem Kathleen Rice throws in the towel
[Hot Air] By comparison, just 13 House Republicans have announced their retirements so far. That tells us all we need to know about how the two party establishments view their respective chances this fall.

House Dems are caught in the same predicament they were in January 2010, after rumblings of an earthquake in that fall’s midterms had already begun. On the one hand, Pelosi wanted anyone who was thinking of retirement to announce early and give the party time to recruit a credible nominee in their district. On the other hand, a slew of early retirements would raise anxiety within that the midterms were destined to be a bloodbath, possibly spooking some Dems who otherwise intended to run again into quitting as well.

The more Kathleen Rices there are, the more there are likely to be. Dilemmas, dilemmas.

I’m keen to know what sort of internal polling Rice was seeing to convince her to retire now. She’s only 57 and is serving just her fourth term in the House. She’s won most of her general elections comfortably too, gliding to a 13-point victory in 2020. Surely that was enough of a cushion to guarantee reelection this year too, right?

Well ... not exactly, say the pros. Unless a red tsunami materializes then yes, Rice’s district of NY-4 should go Democratic. But the odds of a red tsunami aren’t as small as they usually are. And so:

Trudeau Declares National Emergency, Overriding Civil Rights Because People Are Expressing Their Civil Rights
[Pirate's Cove] This is pretty damned wild. You have people engaged in their civil right of peaceable protest, as allowed by their Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but, since they are protesting against government, Fuhrer Trudeau doesn’t like that.

Trudeau declares national emergency over Canadian trucker protests, allowing government to override civil rights

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared a national emergency over ongoing trucker protests, allowing the nation’s government to temporarily override civil rights.

"The scope of these measures will be time-limited, geographically targeted, as well as reasonable and proportionate to the threats they are meant to address," Trudeau said at a press conference on Monday.

The far-reaching Emergencies Act gives the Canadian government the ability to prohibit public assembly, restrict travel, and force businesses — such as towing companies — to act, with compensation.

Trudeau said Canada’s 1998 Emergencies Act will be used to "strengthen and support law enforcement agencies at all levels across the country."

You good with this, Canada? Could it be your Rights suspended next? What do you call it when the government takes away rights because people are using those rights?

[GP] Justin Trudeau’s Justice Minister, David Lametti on Wednesday said that being pro-Trump is a factor that will decide if your bank account is seized or frozen under Trudeau’s Emergency Orders.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (Castro Jr.) this week invoked the Emergency Act to break up the Freedom Convoy and freeze funding for the truckers.

Trudeau is also using the Emergency Orders to freeze personal accounts of people who donated to the trucker convoy.

Morgan Stanley Under Fire for Minority-Only Intern Program
[Free Beacon] An advocacy group is pressing financial giant Morgan Stanley to end an internship program open only to gay students and select minorities.

The Project on Fair Representation on Tuesday sent a letter to Morgan Stanley and Princeton University warning that identity-based criteria for the bank’s 2022 Freshman Enhancement Program violate federal nondiscrimination laws. The internship is open only to "Black, Hispanic, Native American, and/or LGBTQ+ freshman undergraduate student[s]," according to Morgan Stanley’s website. Princeton has allegedly encouraged its students to apply for the program, according to the letter.

"Morgan Stanley and Princeton are leading institutions in our culture," the letter reads. "What you do matters not only because it affects the individuals involved, but also because you set an influential example for others. Pandering to activists with ’diversity, equity, and inclusion’ initiatives like this internship program is actively harming and racializing our already divided country."

The program keeps with the uptick in race-based benefits in recent years. Following George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, gig economy behemoths like Uber and Postmates waived delivery fees for black-owned restaurants. And public health agencies have encouraged providers to prioritize certain minority groups when distributing scarce COVID-19 therapeutics.

Morgan Stanley’s program appears to use race and sexual orientation in a wooden fashion. While a holistic review that considered race and sex among numerous other factors might survive a legal challenge, the bank’s website and outside materials that describe the program explicitly state that candidates must be gay, black, Hispanic, or Native American to apply.

Government Corruption
Anthony Fauci Insists Blue States Lifting Mask Mandates Has Nothing to Do with Politics
[Breitbart] Dr. Anthony Fauci this week insisted that blue states finally moving to lift mask mandates has nothing to do with politics, asserting it simply has to do with the data, despite the fact that the science has not changed, as prominent conservative politicians have pointed out.

"I wouldn’t say it’s the politics. I think it’s the different evaluation of what’s right for a particular community," Fauci said during a Monday appearance on MSNBC, discussing the wave of blue state leaders who have suddenly had what Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) described as an "epiphany" and began to announce the end of mask mandates across the states and in schools.

"When you use the word politics, I’m not sure it’s that. I just think at the local level, there’s a strong feeling of needing to get back to normality," Fauci said before pointing to the "science of it."

"Now, if you look at the science of it, I mean the direction is going in the right direction. Are we there yet in every single place throughout the country? I don’t believe so. But there are some places that are looking at what the trajectory is, and are saying let’s go with it," the White House medical adviser added, insisting blue state leaders are "trying to get back to some form of normality by pulling back on restrictions."

Over the course of the past week, several blue state leaders, including Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D), New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D), and Delaware Gov. John Carney (D) announced plans to pull back on certain mask restrictions. But conservative critics have pointed out the timing is of interest.

"The science has not changed one iota. We knew from the beginning, and that’s why Florida never imposed a forced masking policy on school children, and that’s why we fought to liberate the kids from the forced masking that was done on the local level because there was never a justification for it," DeSantis said during a press conference last week.

"So when you start to see them kind of reevaluate or say all this, just understand this. The science didn’t change. The medical science didn’t change. The political science changed. They feel the heat. They know that voters have been tired of perpetual lockdown policies," he continued.

"They know that they have basically offered no offramp and they know that they’re fixing to be whooped at the polls, so that’s causing the epiphany," he added:

NY Rep. Bowman withdraws support for bill to promote Abraham Accords
So much for his catering to the many Jewish voters in his district.
[IsraelTimes] Congressman who has been less critical of Israel than rest of Squad tells constituents he’s now convinced normalization agreements designed to isolate Paleostinians.

US Rep. Jamaal Bowman, the New York Democrat who has been less critical of Israel than other members of the progressive "Squad," is dropping his support for a bill that would help Israel expand normalization agreements with Arab countries.

In a letter to constituents, Bowman said he has been persuaded that the normalization agreements, launched in 2020 as the Abraham Accords, serve to isolate the Paleostinians, and do not advance a just outcome. The letter was first reported Tuesday by Jewish Currents.

He also expressed concern that some of the incentives for the accords are at odds with his values. The United Arab Emirates has scored the sale of advanced fighter jets and Morocco earned US recognition of its claim to the disputed Western Sahara.

Critics of the accords say they remove from the Paleostinians one of the few leverages they have over Israel: full acceptance in the Middle East.

The bill has overwhelming bipartisan support and Bowman’s change of mind won’t stop it from passing. Under the accords, brokered by the Trump administration, Israel normalized relations with the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco. The bill would help facilitate normalization with other countries.

Bowman is a member of the "Squad," a grouping of six progressives that includes Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who says Israel should not exist as a Jewish state, and Rep. Alexandria Sandy Ocasio-Cortez
Dem Congressgirl from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details. She was the inventor of the Green New Deal, though she doesn't talk about it much anymore...
(D-N.Y.), who has called Israel an apartheid state. Bowman, however — representing a district that encompasses substantive Jewish communities in the Bronx and Westchester — has not been as adamant in his Israel criticism. Alone in the Squad, he backed additional funding last year for the Iron Dome anti-missile systems for Israel. So did the vast majority of the party’s Progressive Caucus.

Bowman in the letter said a recent visit to Israel and the West Bank helped bring about his change of mind. He did not note that J Street, the liberal Jewish Middle East policy group, organized the visit, nor that the group backs the bill that would expand the Abraham Accords.

Some progressives criticized Bowman for going on a trip with J Street, which describes itself as pro-Israel.

While the move by Bowman appeared aimed at pleasing some of his more left-wing constituencies,

The Democratic Socialists of America BDS and Paleostine Solidarity Working Group tweeted that Bowman only followed through on a promise he made to withdraw his sponsorship for HR 2748 "after newly drawn district borders now exclude Riverdale, an area with a heavy Zionist constituency."
Ah. No longer has to appease the voters that are no longer his.

Both al-Shabaab and Shene groups have been designated as terror groups in Æthiopia and Somalia, where they have been linked to the deaths of innocent civilians and security officers. The groups have been fighting the respective governments.

State-owned Fana reported that the joint cooperation will improve peace and stability in the two sisterly countries. While Kenya is prone to al-Shabaab attacks, Æthiopia, despite being a neighbor to Somalia, has managed to keep the group at bay.

However,

the Shene group which operates in Æthiopia has been antagonizing the administration of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who is also battling to reclaim the Tigray region having fallen out with leaders from the Tigray community.

The assertion came at a time when Æthiopian Federal Police Commissioner General Demelash Gebremichael received the third Inspector General of the Kenyan National Police Service Commission, Hilary Nzioki Mutyambai at his office and held a discussion on issues of mutual concern.

According to the Æthiopian media, the two top coppers agreed to launch a joint operation against al-Shabaab and Shene groups to stop hostile activities by the two organizations. It is stated on the occasion that the two countries will sign MoU for the joint operation within a month.

He said Æthiopia and Kenya agreed to enhance cooperation in the exchange of information, adding that the MoU will enable the countries to ensure cross-border peace and security. Æthiopia and Kenya have not had serious security partnerships in the past.

Russian planes intercepted US Navy aircraft over Mediterranean, says Pentagon
*Sigh*
[IsraelTimes] Three US Navy aircraft were intercepted by Russian planes in an "unprofessional" manner over the Mediterranean Sea last weekend, the Pentagon says.

"While no one was hurt, interactions such as these could result in miscalculations and mistakes that lead to more dangerous outcomes," US Navy Captain Mike Kafka says in a statement.

The three P-8A maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft "experienced unprofessional intercepts by Russian aircraft" while "flying in international airspace over the Mediterranean Sea," Kafka says.

He says the United States has "made our concerns known to Russian officials through diplomatic channels."

According to a US official who asked to remain anonymous, one of the Russian planes came dangerously close to a US aircraft.

Yea, that's it Tony! Dr. Fauci claims the easing of COVID mandates by blue states has 'nothing to do with politics' and they are only 'following the science': Virus cases plunge 44% in one week
Israel is easing Covid restrictions, as is much of Europe, and elsewhere no doubt. This genie is not going back in the bottle.
  • Dr. Anthony Fauci said the easing of COVID restrictions is not political, but instead due to the nation's 44 percent plunge in case positivity

  • 'I wouldn't say it's the politics. I think it's the different evaluation of what's right for a particular community,' Fauci told MSNBC Monday

  • He did, however, note the CDC still recommends mandates and warned that states should be careful not to lift restrictions 'prematurely'

  • His comments come as the Democratic-majority states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York started easing back restrictions

Government shelling of fuel market in Idlib leaves casualties

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Four people were killed and five others were wounded on Wednesday in Syrian government shelling that targeted fuel market in Idlib, northwest Syria.

The Syrian government forces, located in Regiment 46, west of Aleppo, targeted a fuel market near Termanin town in north of Idlib, with six missiles, local sources told North Press.

Four civilians were killed in the shelling, three of them are of the same family, and more than five others were wounded, in addition to huge fire in the targeted area, the sources added.

The shelling targeted the road linked Dana city to Hazra town north of Idlib, which is a densely populated area.

In the same context, opposition military source told North Press that the Turkish forces located in their bases near Tawama town targeted the Syrian government forces in the Regiment 46 using heavy artillery shells.

The de-escalation zone, northwest Syria, have witnessed military escalation and mutual bombardment by both conflict parties for days, after period of relative calm in the beginning of February.

Arab Coalition conducts 17 targeted strikes against Houthis in Marib, Hajjah

The Arab Coalition conducted 17 targeted strikes against the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen’s Hajjah and Marib in the last 24 hours, the official Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.

The targeted strikes resulted in the destruction of 14 military vehicles, according to SPA, and caused casualties among the Houthis.

The operation comes during a time when tensions are rising with Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis.

Last week, the Arab Coalition asked residents of Sanaa to evacuate some “civilian sites” in the next 72 hours and warned of strikes on the Houthi militia in the area.

The warning came after the Houthis conducted a drone strike against Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport, injuring 12 people.

Abha, near Saudi Arabia’s southern border with Yemen, is a regular target of drone and missile strikes launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia fighting coalition forces in Yemen.

Numerous countries and country representatives including the US Department of State, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and others, condemned the airport attack.

It came days after the Iran-backed Houthis attempted to hit the UAE with drone strikes, but failed owing to the country’s robust air defense.

HTS executes elderly in Idlib

Yesterday, a member of HTS security apparatus informed the family of Abbous the news of his execution, as a court affiliated with HTS in the city of Ariha confirmed the news, without explaining the reason for the execution, the sources added.

HTS refuses to hand over the body of the elderly, who was arrested in May in his house without revealing the reason for arrest, to his family, according to the sources.

Abbous was a former employee of the Zayzoon Thermal Power Station west of Hama, who defected from the Syrian government at the beginning of the protests in 2011, the sources said.

Human rights reports and organizations have previously talked about HTS’s practices and violations committed in its prisons, including torture, killing, settling scores, and burial in mass graves and places that so far have not been disclosed.

FBI says Texas synagogue hostage-taker tried to buy ‘machine gun’ and drugs
[IsraelTimes] Dallas man accused of selling Malik Faisal Akram pistol says the attacker sought to buy methamphetamines and ’weapon that contains large number of bullets’.

The man who took hostages at a Texas synagogue sought to buy drugs and a "machine gun" before the standoff last month that ended with the hostages escaping and the gunman’s death, an FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
agent said in court Wednesday.

The testimony came during a detention hearing for the Dallas man accused of selling Malik Faisal Akram
...Brit-Paki known wolf, a member of jihad precurser Tablighi Jamaat and divorced father of six, who came to America specially to get the Joos to rescue Aafia Siddiqui from durance vile, but failed spectacularly, first losing his hostages and then his life. But who took him to and from Dallas International Airport to the homeless shelter that housed him, and who introduced him to the felon who sold him that gun?
the handgun he used in his attack on Congregation Beth Israel in the suburb of Colleyville.

A federal magistrate ordered the alleged seller, Henry "Michael" Williams, detained ahead of his trial on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Williams, 32, was arrested less than two weeks after the standoff ended with an FBI tactical team rushing into the synagogue and fatally shooting Akram just as the hostages made their escape.

Authorities said Williams confessed to selling Akram, a 44-year-old British national, the previously stolen pistol.

During the detention hearing, FBI agent Taylor Page testified that Williams said Akram initially reached out to him seeking to buy methamphetamines and "a machine gun or a weapon that contains a large number of bullets."
He clearly had a romantic idea of what is available to the random foreigner, even in the far West where cowboys roam with six shooters and such.
Akram explained that he wanted the gun for intimidation to help settle a debt, according to Page.

Page also said that Akram fired his gun at some point during the standoff but did not provide details. Multiple gunshots could be heard in the area around the synagogue soon after the FBI breached the building.

In court, prosecutors highlighted Williams’ past felony convictions and Page said Williams brokered 10 to 15 other gun sales. Williams’ defense lawyer argued that he could not have known what Akram actually planned to do with the gun and said her client was being blamed for another person’s actions.

Magistrate Judge Rebecca Rutherford ordered Williams be held as a potential danger to the community.

Syria Two Syrian soldiers killed , nine wounded, says Russian Reconciliation Center

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two Syrian soldiers were killed, nine other and a civilian were wounded in shelling conducted by militants of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) against the government posts in several Syrian governorates, Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy chief of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, announced yesterday.

Militants of the Syrian opposition factions targeted posts of the Syrian government in the countryside of Aleppo governorate, north Syria, killing one Syrian soldier and wounding four others and a civilian as well, Zhuravlev added.

Meanwhile, one government soldier was killed and five were wounded in mortar bombardment targeting the government sites in the countryside of Idlib governorate, northwest Syria, according to him.

Nine assaults launched by the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS-formerly al-Nusra Front) were reported five of which were in Idlib and four in Aleppo, Zhuravlev explained.

On Tuesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu inspected the Russian airbase at Syria’s Khmeimim.

Although the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria is subject to a Russian-Turkish ceasefire agreement signed in March 2020, the area witnesses frequent mutual bombardment despite the entry of the ceasefire into force.

SDF kills ISIS leader and arrests another in Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – An ISIS leader was killed and another was arrested, in two separate operations in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Wednesday.

The SDF said on its Facebook that the Special Forces of SDF killed a “dangerous terrorist” called Abu Hamza Shamiya in a security operation in the village of Jazra al-Milaj, 60 km east of Deir ez-Zor, and arrested Shukri Khalil, the ammunition distributor for ISIS, in the village of Zaghir in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

“Al-Shamiya had planned and carried out a terrorist attack targeting a point of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council’s forces in the village of al-Zar in eastern Deir ez-Zor on February 10, in which five SDF fighters lost their lives,” SDF said.

“Al-Shamiya was one of the most dangerous terrorists of ISIS in the Deir ez-Zor region, and was responsible for preparing terrorist plans and operations in the region, which targeted our fighters, dignitaries and tribal sheikhs in the region during the last period,” according to SDF.

According to SDF, they seized large quantities of ammunition and narcotics that Khalil had when he was arrested.

The countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing an increase in cases of killing of SDF members, the employees of the Autonomous Administration, tribal notables and civilians, most of which have been claimed by ISIS.

Meanwhile, SDF has intensified its security operations in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor to pursue ISIS sleeper cells.

Two weeks ago, the SDF-affiliated Hajin Military Council announced the arrest of five members of ISIS sleeper cells in the town of Thiban in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

  • Medical experts said the report showed far more significant injuries than a bump to the head, with injuries consistent with being hit by a baseball bat

A military source told SANA that "at around 11:35 on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Israeli enemy carried out an airstrike with anto-aircraft missiles fired from the occupied of the Syrian Golan region."

"The aggression targeted some points in the vicinity of the town of Zakiyah, south of Damascus, and the (Syrian) air defenses shot down some of these missiles," the source added.

The attack was reportedly aimed at Iranian militias located southwest of the capital Damascus. There was property damage at the scene.
The Times of Israel adds:
Israel’s alleged use of surface-to-surface missiles — in place of munitions fired from aircraft — has been linked to a recent meeting between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Russian President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
, one of Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad’s main allies, who has supplied much of Damascus’s air defense system. To avoid embarrassing Russia and its military technology, Israel reportedly agreed to rely less on Arclight airstrike

#1  Israel attacked Syrian targets ... with anti-aircraft missiles

Blowing up ground targets with air-to-air missiles, now they are just showing off.

The bit about using surface-to-surface missiles as a favor to Vladimir is notable. As the Donald says, it's all negotiable.

White House calls Russian report of mass graves misinformation
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

That little thing like the excavations in in Donetsk, reported well before this latest shit show began-- that stuff is all bullshit.

[NewsFrontInfo] White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that Russian reports about the discovery of mass graves of civilians in the Donbass may be disinformation, according to Twitter White House.

Psaki believes that a Russian "attack" is "possible at any moment" and will be preceded by a “manufactured pretext that Russia is using to invade,” which could be “allegations of provocations in the Donbass” and false state media reports.
And I believe Jen Psaki will someday come to my home and give me a custom lap dance.Doesn't mean it's the Gospel Truth.
One can only hope you’re wrong. Do you know where her bottom has been?
It is worth recalling that the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the use of prohibited means and methods of war after the discovery of mass graves of civilians in the Donbass. According to the agency, in August-October 2021 five spontaneous mass graves were discovered in the area of several settlements, from which the remains of at least 295 civilians were exhumed, including women who died as a result of shelling by Ukrainian armed forces in 2014.

The department also stressed that since April 2014, Ukrainian security forces have been neglecting international agreements and have been shelling settlements in Donbass, using weapons designed to most effectively destroy people and infrastructure. The result of such strikes was not only destroyed residential buildings and social facilities, but also the death and injury of thousands of civilians, Russian-speaking groups that did not take part in the conflict.

Military Airstrikes Kill Bandit Leader, Umaru, 41, Others

Airstrikes from a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft have neutralised Dogo Umaru, a key terrorist-kingpin, loyal to the notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji in Katsina State.

The bombardments also killed no fewer than 40 other bandits, PRNigeria reports.

It was gathered that the airstrikes were authorised by the military command after Dogo Umaru and his cohorts were confirmed to have orchestrated a series of 'gruesome' attacks on Magama Village in the Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.

One of their recent attacks led to the death of the Magama Divisional Police Officer (DPO), while a soldier was wounded.

Dogo Umaru and his foot soldiers have been known to stage their attacks on surrounding villages from a nearby school, Tsamben Dantambara Primary School, which has since been deserted.

However, PRNigeria learnt from a military covert operative that two aircraft were deployed to 'massacre' the Katsina terrorists.

"One of the aircraft engaged the terrorists in successive passes, while the second one equally mopped up fleeing terrorists," he said.

Local sources residing near Tsamben Babare village revealed that 42 terrorists were eliminated in the NAF airstrikes, including Dogo Umaru.

An intelligence officer of the Nigerian Army said the military troops and men of other security agencies have intensified their operation in various theatres in the Northwest, recently.

"Last week, strikes by a NAF aircraft and combat operations of the ground troops in Kaduna and Niger states eliminated scores of terrorists near the Nigerian Defence Academy and along Shadadi-Maundu respectively," the source said.

Why is no one talking about Iran digging a new unbombable nuke facility?
[JPost] Of course it's not "unbombable". Sealing a facility in a tomb of radioactive soil is quite a preventative measure
Thus speaketh the tart tone of a civil engineer presented with journalistic foolishness. ;-)
The facility in Natanz is built deep under a massive mountain, making it extremely difficult for the IDF to ever bomb it.

Iran is developing a new nuclear threat that could be a game-changer — and which will continue to proceed regardless of whether there is a nuclear deal or not.

#1  Dig it as deep as you want.

The doors and electric lines will still have to be topside somewhere, and they will be much easier to kill.

And to put this in perspective, it's gotta cost increasingly outrageous amounts of money to keep digging these things deeper and deeper, and with inshallah construction on top of that. Let them bankrupt themselves.

Firing at Stars of David, Hezbollah shows off alpine warfare skills
[IsraelTimes] Terror group and Lebanese army release video clips of winter training; Iran-backed group’s fighters open fire at ’Israeli’ targets, with their colleagues inexplicably alongside

The near-simultaneous release of propaganda videos in which Lebanon Hezbollahstan

’s army and the terror group Hezbollah flaunt their alpine skills triggered an avalanche of comments online Wednesday, some jokingly referencing the Winter Olympics.

Iran-backed Hezbollah looked eager to demonstrate it was undeterred by recent heavy snowfall in a slick two-minute production released late Tuesday that soon started trending on social media.

Hezbollah fighters, having swapped their usual colors for all-white snow camouflage gear, are seen practicing on skis and snowmobiles.

The drills, which the video says took place near Lebanon’s southern border with Israel, used Stars of David for target practice.

At times the button men were apparently also aiming at their fellow cell members, who were inexplicably standing next to the targets.

Additionally, the fighters practiced hand-to-hand combat.

Also Tuesday, Lebanon’s army released a video showing its alpine unit performing drills in the snow.

Many on social media volunteered comparative analysis and style marks, while others drew parallels with the biathlon events at the Winter Olympics currently underway in Beijing.

Some suggested Hezbollah was preparing to assist Russian troops in an invasion of Ukraine.

EU allocates €18 million to help refugees in North African countries, including Egypt
[AlAhram] The European Commission has announced its humanitarian funding for North Africa for 2022, amounting to €18 million, to support some of the most vulnerable refugees in Egypt, Libya, and Algeria, the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) said on Tuesday.

The European Commission has announced that the European Union

will allocate €5 million to help the most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers stranded in Egypt’s poorest neighbourhoods in urban centres. The funding will enable safe and sustainable access to quality education, protection services and basic needs, the statement added.

Egypt currently hosts 6 million migrants colonists and refugees and is keen to ensure they live decent lives, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ECHO statement added that €4 million will be allocated for Libya to address humanitarian needs in health and education and to provide protection for people in need in urban centres and hard-to-reach locations.

Some €9 million will be allocated to Algeria to help the most urgent needs of vulnerable Sahrawi refugees, including to provide access to food, safe water, basic healthcare, and education.

"The European Union is committed to supporting people in need no matter where they are. The new funding for humanitarian organizations in Algeria, Egypt and Libya will help vulnerable people affected by conflicts, instability or displacement. As their situation became increasingly difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will help meet their basic needs and ensure they can access healthcare, education and other services," Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič said.

Bird Flu 2022
[Epoch Times] Authorities with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said bird influenza has now been detected in flocks of birds in Kentucky and Virginia, just days after the officials said that thousands of birds were sickened with the flu in Indiana.
This kind of thing happens fairly regularly, as far as I can tell. Israel had to kill off many of their chickens not long ago, as I recall.
In a statement, the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service did not say whether the outbreak involved H5N1, the same highly pathogenic virus found extensively in wild birds and on the Indiana turkey farm.

Citing the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the USDA said that "these avian influenza detections do not present an immediate public health concern."

"No human cases of these avian influenza viruses have been detected in the United States. As a reminder, the proper handling and cooking of poultry and eggs to an internal temperature of 165 [degrees] F kills bacteria and viruses," the agency added.

The disease is hitting the market as poultry supplies are down due to strong demand and labor shortages at meat plants during the COVID-19 pandemic. Government data showed U.S. frozen chicken supplies were down 14 percent from a year ago at the end of December while turkey inventories were down 23 percent.

Somalia's capital hit by major terror attack amid busy electoral schedule
[Garowe] al-Shabaab
...... Somalia's version of the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...

holy warriors on Wednesday night waged numerous attacks within the capital Mogadishu, just as the country rushes to beat crucial elections timeline amid pressure from members of the international community.

Initial reports indicate that the murderous Moslems, who have since taken responsibility, targeted the south and northern suburbs of Mogadishu. The first explosion occurred in Kahda as holy warriors attacked a cop shoppe while the second explosion was reported in the DaruSalaam area in Yaqshid.

Police in the capital initially confirmed two simultaneous al-Shabaab attacks in Kahda and in the DaruSalaam neighborhood of Yaqshid district. Residents in Kahda confirmed that fierce gunfire was exchanged following the earth-shattering kaboom in Kahda, reports indicate.

Casualties were reported following the al-Shabaab attack on Kahda cop shoppe as holy warriors were reportedly forced to retreat as one police vehicle damaged. The second explosion is said to have targeted a local district official in Mogadishu whose name was not immediately revealed.

In their proxy media sites, al-Shabaab grabbed credit for carrying out six attacks in Mogadishu last night. The group said two suicide boom-mobiles were involved in two attacks at Kahda cop shoppe and Dar al-Salaam where massive damages were reported.

In addition to the two suicide boom-mobiles followed by infantry attacks, al-Shabaab reported a third attack in another part of Kahda; and three more attacks in Daynile, Elasha Biyaha and Hodan aimed at disrupting reinforcements, group claims. Somali government said attacks were repulsed.

Some reports indicate that the group has briefly seized control of Kahda district cop shoppe. Meanwhile,
...back at the precinct house, Sergeant Maloney wasn't buying it. It was just too pat. The whole thing smelled phony, kind of like a dead mackeral but without the scales...
Haramacad's military base at the outskirts of the city came under heavy attack, further showcasing the porous situation in the capital.

Until now, the exact number of casualties is yet to be released but al-Shabaab claimed several people were killed in the process. The attack comes at the time the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
and Somali government have agreed on the transition of AMISOM to ATMIS from March this year.

The group is seeking to overthrow the fragile UN-backed Somalia government which has been facing hostility for several years now. The group controls large swathes of rural central and southern Somalia according to the UN Panel of Experts.

First numbers, as of 10:20 a.m. ET:
Somalia says al-Shabab attack kills 5 outside capital

[AlAhram] An attack by the al-Shabab extremist group on Wednesday killed five people and wounded 16 on the outskirts of Somalia's capital, police said.

Somalia's government said the early morning attack targeted police and checkpoints outside of Mogadishu.

AFP news hounds witness the soldiers leaving a Boeing C-17 military transport plane and boarding buses at Rzeszow Airport, located around 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the border with Ukraine.

Another group of soldiers, around a dozen, board two Black Hawk helicopters that then took off. Two Chinook helicopters are also seen landing.

Armored cars, military trucks, containers and dozens more soldiers are seen at a makeshift camp set up in and around a glass-covered conference center opposite the airport terminal.

"We don’t know yet," a sergeant manning a checkpoint into the camp, who declined to be named, tells AFP when asked how long they might stay.

The US has said it is planning temporarily to deploy a total of around 4,700 additional soldiers to EU and NATO member Poland in response to Russia’s troop buildup around Ukraine.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
You Will Never Guess Who's in Charge of the $60 Million in Black Lives Matter Assets
[PJMedia] Two weeks ago, PJ Media covered the growing scandal of the finances of Black Lives Matter. The group had raised $90 million and spent less than $30 million on "social justice" causes. The scandal is that no one appears to be in charge of that remaining $60 million.

The Black Lives Matter board members who were supposed to be running the foundation denied they had anything to do with it. CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron said that BLM was like a "giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction."

To the rescue comes the Bill and Crooked Hillary Clinton
...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do...
cavalry. The Washington Examiner reports that several Clinton associates have taken up key positions at BLM, including Democratic Party fixer Mark Elias. It was Elias who funneled money to fund Remington Christopher Steele’s discredited anti-Trump dossier and served as Hillary’s 2016 campaign general counsel.

Elias’s newly formed law firm is reportedly located at one of BLM’s addresses and states in its short-year 2020 Form 990 that its finances are now in the care of the Elias Law Group.

"The latest filing’s addition of partisan lawyer Marc Elias confirms the group is more political than charitable," Scott Walter, the president of the Capital Research Center, a conservative investigative nonprofit group, told the Washington Examiner. "But it also suggests that finally some left-wing heavyweights have begun to deal with the embarrassing mess made by a major activist group the institutional Left has failed to, pardon the term, police."

Indeed, as far as the $60 million is concerned, the new leadership group changed BLM’s fiscal year so that they don’t have to report their finances until May.

The new BLM filing with New Mexico also said that Minyon Moore is a "Board Member" for BLM, and BLM’s Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, filing lists her as a "Board Member" too.

Hillary Clinton’s Onward Together PAC was reportedly incorporated by Elias in April 2017, and Elias is listed as a "Governor" for the Clinton PAC in a business filing for the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. Moore was listed as the "Director/President" at Onward Together for the fiscal years of 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Clinton posted on Facebook in May 2020 that Onward Together would "partner with" Elias’s Democracy Docket to "protect Americans’ right to vote by mail." And she posted in June 2020 that her followers should "join Onward Together and Marc Elias in the fight for voting rights by signing up for Democracy Docket."

Minyon Moore is a long-time confidante of both Bill and Hillary. That she is serving on the BLM board while Elias is responsible for the group’s accounting should raise five fire alarms about the potential corruption that could take place.

#9  BLM accounting gimmick further delays disclosure of its $60M bankroll

The national organization for Black Lives Matter appears to have used an unusual accounting maneuver to further delay reporting what became of its $60 million bankroll from 2020, a move one charity watchdog called "the worst transparency issue" she has ever seen.

Asayish arrest 3 drug dealers in Raqqa

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On charges of drug trafficking and possession of unlicensed weapons, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested three people in Raqqa, north Syria, on Wednesday.

“After collecting information and evidence, the Asayish arrested three drug dealers who also had unlicensed weapons in the city of Raqqa,” Asayish said on its official website.

“The accused were caught with 43 grams of the narcotic substance (H-Pose), in addition to a 9 mm caliber military pistol,” the website said.

“The accused confessed to drug trafficking and possession of unlicensed weapons. They were referred to the Public Prosecution to take legal measures against them,” according to the Asayish website.

In a statistic of the Internal Security Forces for 2021, 933 cases of drug control were recorded, and 1,562 people, including dealers and abusers, were arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution.

These small devices could be the future of contact tracing
[Scripps National via 10 News] "Take the implant, or lose your job, financial accounts, insurance, just like in Canada"
COVID-19 contact tracing programs across the country are being scaled back as the omicron wave subsides.

Health departments are encouraging people to alert their close contacts themselves after testing positive, and those still working as contact tracers are focusing on the most vulnerable communities.

Now, scientists are working to make contact tracing more effective for the future.

"Maybe contact tracing wasn't successful, given the disease parameters and how COVID spread. But, in the future, there could be maybe a different disease that spreads in a slightly different way, and then contact tracing may be an extremely effective tool that's stopping the spread," said Saw Woo Nam, a physicist with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. "So, I think we just need to have these tools ready in case you know we have another pandemic."

Nam has been working on a radio system for contact tracing. The tiny devices can be worn, carried or mounted in areas with poor ventilation, like an elevator, to monitor the spread of disease.

The radio system devices, which use Bluetooth to communicate, help protect privacy because they're not linked to the person wearing them.

Nam also says the devices can be used in places where smartphones aren't continually monitored.
cultural score, anyone?
"It could be easier to deploy, say, in nursing homes or in schools with children," Nam said. "Kids could carry it, it could be a little more organized so kids can run around the playground and not worry about whether it would break because they smashed it against something."

Nam estimates mass-producing the devices would cost less than $10 a unit. He also sees the potential for using it with animals in the future to stop the spread of disease in the food supply.

Media Vapors: How Special Counsel John Durham Has Triggered a Media Meltdown
[JonathanTurley] Pediatricians call it "breath-holding spells." It was when children hold their breath when upset until they experience syncope, or passing out. The media in Washington appears close to a collective faint over the recent filings of Special Counsel John Durham. While the media has largely buried or downplayed the disclosures by Durham on the origins of the Russian conspiracy claims, Durham keeps adding new details implicating top Democratic figures in what he describes as an ongoing investigation. You can only hold your breath so long and Durham shows no signs that he is done by a long shot.

The latest disclosures by Durham are difficult for many in the media to cover because they directly refute years of prior coverage. Many in the media lampooned Donald Trump for claiming that the FBI and the Clinton campaign spied on Trump Tower and his campaign. Yet, we later learned that the FBI did spy on the campaign. In 2020, the media largely ignored that finding.

That is when the first stage of syncope began: the "prodrome" with signs of media "discomfort, extreme fatigue, weakness, yawning, nausea, dizziness, and vertigo."

‘Contact Your Doctor…No Time to Wait': Pfizer Issues Urgent Warning about Pulmonary Embolisms Caused by Blood Clots
[BigLeaguePolitics] Pfizer has issued an ominous public warning about “deep vein thrombosis,” in what appears to confirm another so-called conspiracy theory that has been circulating for months.

Pfizer posted the warning on Twitter about deep vein thrombosis, the medical term for a blood clot in a deep vein, traveling to the lungs and causing a pulmonary embolism. They said if any individuals are having trouble breathing or experiencing chest pain, they should call a medical professional immediately.

“Contact your doctor if experiencing symptoms—this is no time to wait,” Pfizer stated.

Big League Politics has reported on how official propaganda organs like the CDC are trying to get ahead of the issue of blood clots being potentially caused by experimental COVID-19 vaccines:

“The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made an online post last Thursday announcing that anybody can get a blood clot, even if they are healthy and in peak physical condition. The post advised all Americans to watch out and defend themselves against “life-threatening blood clots.”

“#DYK that anyone can develop a blood clot?” wrote the CDC on Twitter. “Whether you’re an athlete or a fan, don’t let a blood clot ruin the big game this weekend. Learn how to protect your health.”

A small text entry featured on the CDC’s post image claims that “everyone is at a risk for blood clots,” and that “even the healthiest athletes get blood clots.”

Also included in the online post was a link to the CDC’s website, which describes and offers their definition of blood clots, medically defined as “Venous Thromboembolism.” A section at the link further points out that “10 to 30% of people will die within one month of diagnosis” with the condition.

… The topic of sudden deaths from surprise blood clots other potentially related conditions such as heart attacks has been more popular as of late, with many expressing concern over what appears to be an unusually large number of soccer players and other athletes who have suddenly collapsed or even died while playing a match.“

It seems we have learned what the first (of probably many) major long-term side effects of the COVID-19 jab will be. Expect many excuses from Big Pharma shills and soulless media hacks as reports of blood clots and complications shoot through the roof.
G-U-L-P!

Woke School Board Members Recalled in San Francisco- really
[NationalReview] San Francisco residents overwhelmingly voted to oust three of the city’s progressive school-board members on Tuesday. It was the culmination of a year-long effort to reform the board, which has been accused of prioritizing social-justice politics over reopening schools and managing the district’s troubled finances during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Returns started coming in around 9 p.m. in California, showing that more than 70 percent of voters supported recalling each of the three candidates: 79 percent voted to recall board member Alison Collins, 75 percent voted to recall board president Gabriela López, and 73 percent voted to recall board member Faauuga Moliga.

Moliga conceded defeat via Twitter shortly after the first returns were released. Turnout for the election was about 24 percent, with 119,718 of the 499,771 registered voters in San Francisco casting ballots, according to the Department of Elections.
In others words, those who really care really wanted them out. A warning portent for the election in November.

The Nazis that globalist liberals stubbornly ignore
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

[INOSMI] Partisan politicians around the world prefer to ignore the evil on their side. However, even with the utterly low standards of modern politics, it is painful to watch how liberals on both sides of the Atlantic hush up, justify and otherwise mask the presence of neo-Nazis and other ideological horrors among their supporters in countries like Ukraine and Hungary.
Let's start with the besieged Ukraine.

Hamas terrorist dies in Gaza tunnel collapse, latest in series of incidents
[IsraelTimes] Terror group’s military wing says fighter ’martyred in resistance tunnel’; IDF preparing for possible escalation in Jerusalem and West Bank

A Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede, terrorist was killed Wednesday when an offensive tunnel collapsed on him, the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
-based group said. Hamas named the terrorist as Muhammad Ashraf Abed, 24, from the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the terror group’s military wing, said he was "martyred after the collapse of a resistance tunnel."

Several Hamas bully boyz have reportedly died in recent months while working inside the tunnels, primarily built in sand, due to heavy rains that have led to their collapse.

During the 11-day conflict between Israel and terror groups in Gaza last May, the Israel Defense Forces carried out extensive Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s against an underground tunnel system which the army described as a system of Hamas bunkers, tunnels, underground command centers and weapons caches under the Gaza Strip.

The IDF has claimed that it managed to destroy a significant portion of the network during the campaign, a claim that Hamas has rejected.

In November, Maj. Avichai Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic front man, warned residents of Gaza of the issue, imploring them to stay away from the tunnels due to landslides in the area, which he said were the likely result of the destruction of the underground system.

"According to estimates, the cause of these collapses is linked to the underground system of Hamas," he wrote in Arabic.

"These events are the latest example, but not the only one, of Hamas’s absurd use of civilian areas. It is unpredictable when the earth will shake again under the feet of the Gazooks because of this blatant exploitation that the local population pays for time and again," he stated.

In December, the Defense Ministry announced that a 65-kilometer underground barrier constructed to deal with the threat of cross-border tunnels originating in Gaza had been completed.

The tunnel collapse came as Hamas has sought to stoke rising tensions in Jerusalem.

Clashes between Jews and Paleostinians in the flashpoint East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in recent days have sparked fears of more widespread violence. Attempted evictions in the neighborhood contributed to the outbreak of last year’s conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as tensions surrounding Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.

This April will also again see a confluence of the Jewish holiday of Passover, the Moslem holy month of Ramadan and the Christian holiday of Easter, leading to fears of possible conflict. The Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the gang of subgeniuses trying to pass themselves off as the adults in charge of the series of calamities characteristic of the administration of a mentally challenged geriatric case...
has urged Israel to take preemptive actions and prevent similar violence.

The Kan public broadcaster reported Tuesday that the IDF is preparing for a possible escalation in Jerusalem and the West Bank due to upcoming holidays and Sheikh Jarrah.
