[NYT] - The Chinese military says excessive masturbation and too many video games are among the reasons its physical-test failure rates have reached an "alarming high."
The People’s Liberation Army is now dishing out advice after one city saw more than half its candidates — 56.9 percent — fail their physicals, according to the BBC.
PLA found that 8 percent of candidates failed because of abnormalities found in their scrotum from sitting too much. Another 25 percent flunked because of blood and urine tests.
It recommended that candidates follow 10 basic principles, including exercising more, cutting out fizzy drinks and booze, limiting computer games and masturbation, not getting a tattoo and drinking clean water.
The advice was instantly mocked by users on social media microblog Sina Weibo.
"Next year they’ll be asking for circumcisions!" said one user.
The PLA has struggled to recruit new members, despite desperate measures to find candidates like releasing a rap recruitment video last year.
The Ministry of Defense last month announced the PLA would be cut from 2 million to 1 million — a move that some believe is due to a lack of new recruits.

Well, if the PLA goes back to the human wave attacks they used in the Korean War, the soldiers won't have to be excessively fit, will they? So who cares?

Did you know a champagne bath stops the covid19 in its tracks?
Champagne detoxifies the skin with antioxidants and tartaric acid helps even out the skin tone,” Dermatologist Marina Peredo, MD, told New Beauty. “For those with oily skin, its antibacterial properties aid in leaving last year's breakouts behind.”
[SkyNews] The "truly dreadful" incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.
A stabbing attack at a hotel in Glasgow city centre has left a number of people injured and a police officer in a critical condition.
A male suspect has been shot dead by armed police at the scene of the incident at the city's Park Inn hotel.
Six people are being treated in hospital, including the 42-year-old officer who suffered knife wounds.
His condition is said to be critical but stable.
The members of the public hurt were aged 17, 18, 20, 38 and 53.
Scotland's first minister Nicola Sturgeon described the incident as "truly dreadful" but said it was not being treated as terrorism-related.
Police say the incident is now contained and there is no threat to the wider public.
Sky News' Scotland correspondent, James Matthews, said refugees and asylum seekers had been housed at the hotel over recent months to protect them during the coronavirus pandemic.
The suspect was an asylum seeker who went on a rampage after complaining about the hotel meals served to him during the Covid-19 pandemic. The knifeman, who was from Sudan, had threatened violence against other refugees and complained he was "very hungry" in recent days after being re-housed in the hotel, an activist told the Telegraph.

[JPost] Just two days after alleged Israeli airstrikes targeted a number of sites around Syria, 10 pro-Iranian militants were killed in airstrikes by unidentified aircraft in central Syria on Thursday night, according to the local Ayn Al-Furat news source.
The airstrikes targeted two sites between Palmyra and As-Sukhna in the Homs Governorate in central Syria. The first site had been used as a fuel station for the Assad regime and is currently used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). Heavy weaponry and about 40 militants are stationed at the site. The second site is used as an operations room for the IRGC and weapons are stored there as well.
One of those killed in the strikes was an Iraqi leader named Abu Al-Hassan, according to the report. Afghani militants were also among those killed in the strikes.
Also on Thursday night, two members of the Iraqi Hezbollah militia were killed and a number of others were wounded after unidentified aircraft targeted a site belonging to the militia near Sabikhan in the Deir Ezzor region of eastern Syria, according to the Shahed news agency.
The dead and wounded were transferred back to Iraq and the site was evacuated, according to the report.

Sounds about right. There were 400 of these clowns marching up Hancock St. in Quincy MA a few weeks ago and I'd say 50 blacks (mostly fat broads who liked to yell) were in that crowd, tops. The rest were nearly all college kids, nobody over 30 from what I could see.

Ya know, there was a BLM'er on Twitter that I had to respond to(cause I was bored), talking about Trump and going into the shelter, during the protest. He was spouting off about how Trump was hiding during this peaceful protest. I responded by telling him the he misspelled peaceful with violent thugs. Now one person responded by saying thugs was the new N word. I didn't mention race at all in my comment. Go figure, since yes I just called the majority of those wanna be white folk hippies the new N word.
[The National Interest] The PPsH-41 submachinegun undoubtedly reigns as an icon of the Soviet war machine in World War II, immortalized in combat photographs and in films such as Cross of Iron and The Tin Drum. Like the T-34 tank and the Il-2 Shturmovik attack plane, the "Pepsha" or "Papasha" ("Daddy") was not only a rugged marvel of mass production, but performed well compared to more expensive contemporaries. Both the Red Army and later the Chinese and North Korean armies would employ the "burp gun" on an unprecedent scale.

Another Donk 'we don't like the Constitution' as written -
The Congress shall have Power To… exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States… (The U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 17)
It can't be a state without an amendment. However, we apparently don't need an Article V change with our rulers SCOTUS.

It's not likely that a Constitutional Amendment would pass muster.
After watching the riots in D.C., the district government is not ready for statehood. They cannot even protect the District and its inhabitants and its property from mob violence.

[The National Interest] "The United States is not equipped to solve every global problem. No nation is. In the case of the Korean War, our failure to close that chapter of history has allowed mistrust to fester for so long that détente seems impossible, despite the fact that lowering tensions would protect U.S. interests in the region better than the status quo. Ending the seven-decades long conflict could help transform the security environment in Northeast Asia as well as usher more progress in areas of mutual concern, such as public health and climate change."

Intervene less and utilize the full extent of our capability when deployed. The military should used sparingly, but if push comes to shove they ought be unleashed with a goal of absolute and devastating victory.

We were in a desperate race to catch up. After WWII demobilization (as all previous wars), the military was about as hollow as could be expected. In 1948, the Berlin airlift began when the Soviets shut down access to Berlin from the Western Alliance. Up till then America's commitment to the post war world was to be a garrison policy. With the Soviet acquisition of the 'bomb' (with help from the usual suspects), its post-war atomic deterrence was gone. 'Deep State' in Washington, circa 1948, elected to become the world's policeman, but was without a police force. Peacetime draft was reintroduced. Getting men and materials were prioritized for Europe.
Korea was a side show to all of that. Washington had already decided it wasn't going to win in Korea if it meant losing Europe. After many setbacks and fumbling, by November of the first year we were on the Yalu. When the Chinese communists intervened. The fear in Washington was this could spread to another 'world war' and Europe was possibly in play. We were still mobilizing a large military build up.
As to who won and who lost, the answer is obvious. The UN mandate was to repel the North Korean invasion and reestablish the antebellum border arrangement.

The pain of the Spanish-American War was the Philippines. Had the Spanish kept it, there would be no reason for a Pearl Harbor cause the Japanese militarists viewed it as a threat to their seizure of the oil fields in the Dutch East Indies. No Pearl Harbor, no German-Italian declaration of war. We would have sat it out.

The US military doesn't win wars any more. It just keeps the peace, more or less, and ensures a steady flow of profit to the defense industries.
Why win a war? It would make the spending stop. Better to keep the enemy around and justify endless conflict.
Moreover the existence of an enemy justifies the stationing of US troops on foreign soil. Bringing them home diminishes worldwide influence. It is the job of the US to midwife a global governance, an eventual superstate that will eliminate war forever. This means some dishonest skullduggery in the present; the future benefits are so sky-high as to justify any misleading actions.

TRUE WAR
1. Plans on how to crush the enemy (not broadcast to the world) with realistic cost estimates. PLans for salting the earth if necessary.
2. Plans on MacArthur style post-war dictatorship to rebuild target nation over the course of a decade.
3. Declaration of War from Congress that should include realistic plans of how to pay for double the estimates from 1 and 2. NAMES MUST BE ATTACHED, no hands vote.
POLICE ACTION
1. Blast and leave. Only Special Forces troops on the ground. This is the Afghanistan plan before we sent troops and demanded democracy.

[American Thinker] In the annals of Jewish history, "[t]he Amalekites, descendants of Amalek, were an ancient biblical nation living near the land of Canaan. They were the first nation to attack the Jewish people after the Exodus from Egypt, and they are seen as the archetypal enemy of the Jews. The nation of Amalek is long gone, but they live on as the internal [and external] enemies that the Jewish people battle on a daily basis." Amalek seeks Israel's physical as well as spiritual annihilation.
Dear Reader — take a moment and substitute the word America for the word Israel, and you will begin to see the trajectory of this article.
At the dawn of the American Revolution, John Adams observed, "If the people are capable of understanding, seeing and feeling the differences between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice, to what better principle can the friends of mankind apply, than to the sense of this difference?"
As Mark Alexander writes "[b]ut today, the ability of Americans to discern 'between true and false, right and wrong, virtue and vice,' is being systematically eroded by leftist politicos, in collusion with their 24/7 Left media and Big Tech enablers, relentlessly seeking to empower the state."
Consequently, America is presently in a battle, not only for its physical well-being but also for its spiritual values. In the world of media, for example, The Atlantic, endorses the "insane racism of Ta Nehisi Coates" while also hosting a film by Steve Jobs' widow that blames Jews for all the Middle Eastern wars. Even the world of sports is being corrupted.
The Marxist Left has vowed to destroy America. Their radical Islamic allies never stop in their all-consuming desire to create a global caliphate. In fact, in 1990, James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, established a . . . "plan to undermine the Jewish community in America by organizing the Left here against Israel's 'oppression' of Palestinians."

Heather Alexander was a fiery Celtic and World musician based in the Pacific Northwest. She composed original music as well as played many traditional pieces. An accomplished fiddler, she was also skilled with the acoustic guitar and the bodhran.
She made her home in the countryside west of Portland, Oregon, and performed up and down the West Coast. She played solo, or with Uffington Horse, her Celtic Folk and World Rock band.
Heather's ten albums were published on her own label, Sea Fire Productions, including two live albums, seven studio works, as well as a "blooper" album released only on CD-R. her last concert under that name.
Her last public performance as Heather was at OryCon 2006. There is a live DVD available, Ever After - Live!, which is a recording of that concert. In early 2007 she transitioned to male and since April 2007 has performed as Alexander James Adams.

[Free Beacon] House Democrats unanimously blocked a resolution condemning acts of violence and rioting—including the "deliberate targeting of law enforcement officers"—in the wake of George Floyd's death.
The resolution, which was introduced by Rep. Greg Steube (R., Fla.) late Thursday morning, condemned Floyd's killing at the hands of police, calling it "inconsistent with the values and conduct expected of law enforcement officers." The resolution also supported peaceful protesters, but it noted that protests have been "exploited by violent extremists" carrying out "acts of violence, looting, destruction of business and personal property, and additional loss of life."
Rep. Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) spoke in favor of the resolution, arguing that while Floyd's death was "wrong as wrong could be," there is a "big difference between peaceful protest and rioting." Jordan also spoke against defunding the police, calling it "one of the craziest public policy proposals I have ever seen."
"I think [the resolution] is consistent with where American values are, consistent with the problems we face, consistent with the serious situation we are in," Jordan said. "If we allow this ’defund the police' concept to happen ... it will not only be tough for police officers, we all know that, but the communities they serve—what will happen there is frightening."
No House Democrats voted in favor of Steube's resolution. Rep. Justin Amash (I., Mich.) voted with Republicans to support the measure.
A number of Democratic lawmakers have supported the call to defund police following Floyd's killing, including far-left Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.). Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) advocated for the dismantling of the Minneapolis Police Department in June, calling it "rotten to the root" and a "cancer."
While major cities across the United States have already proposed or approved slashing police budgets, decades of research indicates that better-funded police departments drive down crime and create social benefit. Officials in New York City, Hartford, Austin, Minneapolis, Baltimore, and Los Angeles have all entertained defunding or abolishing police, despite holding some of the highest violent-crime rates in the nation.

By this vote, they have also gone on record as supporting these violent extremist acts.

American Thinker
The first thing that I have to say is that I am an African-American man living in the Minneapolis area. I have to state this now; otherwise, I would probably be called a racist. Now you can be called Uncle Tom
Most people think Black Lives Matter is a grassroots, black-created, black-run organization dedicated to fighting racism. It most certainly is not. The Black Lives Matter movement is the creation of a group of a few very wealthy individuals, non-profit corporations, and the corporate media. (Incidentally, 90% of the U.S. media is controlled by only six corporations.)
The official Black Lives Matter website, BlackLivesMatter.com, states that Black Lives Matter is a global network foundation that is active in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada. A global network!
Who funds Black Lives Matter? It's funded by billionaires George Soros (Open Society Foundation), Rob McKay (Taco Bell heir), the Ford Foundation, the Borealis Philanthropy, the Democracy Alliance, and many others. Not exactly what I would call a black-run grassroots organization. If these facts alone don't cause you to rethink the whole Black Lives Matter thing, then you just aren't paying attention. Check out the links here and here.
Black Lives Matter began in 2013 when the media suddenly started focusing a tremendous amount of attention on what they portrayed as the rise of unjustified, racially motivated killings of African-American men by white police officers. That's the way that the media portrayed it, but the facts say otherwise.
Are police shootings of African-American men on the rise? No, they are not. In fact, they are on the decline. According to the Juvenile and Criminal Justice Report, the rate of police killings of African-Americans has fallen by 70% over the last 40—50 years.
Are white racist police the biggest murderers of African-Americans? No, far from it. The Black Lives Matter—media cabal is demonizing the police and portraying them as our number-one foe, but the facts once again say otherwise.
According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report, 2,925 African-Americans were murdered in 2018. Eighty-nine percent of them (2,600) were murdered by other African-Americans. That same year, 209 African-Americans (7%) were killed by the police (justified or otherwise). How many of the cops involved are black?
...This media-produced false narrative reached its pinnacle with the death of George Floyd. The media have practically deified him. He's in nationwide TV commercials, online ads, public service announcements. He's on billboards. (We are talking millions of dollars in advertising. Who's paying for this?) His image is graffitied on buildings, businesses, and walls from coast to coast. He's on national magazine covers. This list goes on and on. Hundreds attended his memorial service and funeral, which included Al Sharpton (surprise!), the governor of Minnesota, the mayor of Minneapolis, and many big-name celebrities.
So who is this George Floyd? Is he some great civil rights leader? No — he was a violent career criminal with a long criminal record.
George Floyd was released from prison in Houston, Texas in 2014 following an arrest for aggravated robbery. He had been in jail at least five other times. His arrest record included theft, drug possession, and criminal trespass. He was also the leader of a home invasion ring. They entered a woman's home, and Floyd threatened to kill her by pointing a gun at her stomach while they ransacked the place looking for drugs and money. (Check out the link to his criminal record.)
Nice guy, huh? And this is the one that the Black Lives Matter—media cabal is using as its international poster boy. A violent career criminal. Well, at least you can't say they don't have a sense of humor.
The Black Lives Matter—media cabal is not what it makes itself out to be. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They pretend to be the liberal friends of African-Americans, but in reality, they are their mortal enemies. The policies that they so aggressively push cause nothing but more damage to the African-American community.
...So sum this up. In the African-American community, where there is the highest crime rate and the biggest problems with drug abuse, they push to release the inmates from prison and put them back on the streets, let drug use and drug-dealing run wild, and then take away the police. What do you think the outcome of these policies will produce? More crime and drug abuse in the African-American community. High crime and drug areas minus police equals hell — easy math. Policies that promote more crime and drug abuse in the black community are what I call anti-black policies. These guys make the KKK look like angels by comparison.
What we are seeing happening in the world right now under the guise of "eliminating racism" — the destabilization of society, the protest, rioting, looting, burning, and killing — is not a mass of spontaneous grassroots events. It's all thoroughly coordinated by those at the top of the Black Lives Matter—media cabal. They are indeed the enemy of African-Americans, but they are actually the enemy of us all. African-Americans are just being used as cannon fodder in their game of global domination.

People have to realize that there can be no African, Chinese, Indian, or Algerian Americans. There are only Americans and non-Americans.
This sort of global dispersal of races and identities into anti-nationalistic interst groups jostling for leverage against majoritarian polities is what Soros and party have been trying to achieve. The destruction of all Nationalism is a recurring theme in the new anarchist wave. In the US, it's these Africanized hordes doing it. In other places, there are others. They all have their historic excuses and police brutality is common to all. They are all mercs of opportunity.
I believe the BLM is a most natural outcome of the 'African American' sub-culture.
Nobody is being used, mislead, or hijacked. It's a marriage of convenience, between the Democrats who have pioneered the weaponization of tribes to destabilize societies and plant their own stooges, and the wakandans - the Omars and Ta Nehisi Coates whatevers. They raised and protected these footsoldiers for years for this day. Rap and weed addled bastards who only went to school to sell drugs and slouched about in long shirts listening to Sean P 'Diddy'; confident that the rules won't apply to them. The fervent adherence to their culture, their glorification of criminality and spit-in-your-face hostility was always enough indication of their ultimate intent. I have nothing against minorities who gainsay their own primitive cultures and intead uphold the nation's ideals, but the rest are simply effluvium from your past sins and their army. There is only one enemy of African Americans. The Africa in the American.
[Rudaw] More than 500 civilians have been killed and 1,000 maimed in acts of terrorism across Iraq in 2019, with a lack of security coordination between the governments of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in part to blame, according to a US State Department annual country report.
Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) carried out over 800 attacks in the country, the Iraq edition of the U.S. State Department Country Reports on Terrorism 2019 detailed, predominantly in the deserts and mountains of the disputed territories in the north of the country.
"According to the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency within Iraq's Ministry of Interior, acts of terrorism, violence, and armed conflict with ISIS killed more than 534 civilians and injured more than 1,121 in 2019 as of December 1," the report reads.
Since declaring the defeat of ISIS in December 2017, Iraq’s armed forces have carried out multiple air and ground operations against group remnants in the disputed area claimed by Erbil and Baghdad. In its latest string of campaigns, at least 12 ISIS turbans were killed on Mount Qarachogh in the disputed territory of Makhmour, Erbil province, in a joint operation by Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and the US-led coalition in the early hours of Wednesday.
[ToloNews] Sayed Mukhtar 13, an Afghan teenager who was trained by the Taliban ...Arabic for students... for a suicide kaboom, has surrendered to the Afghan cops in Kunduz province, the Ministry of Interior said on Thursday.
The teenager claimed that he spent five years in a Taliban camp and pursued military education and tactics for suicide attacks.
Sayed Mukhtar was due to detonate explosives strapped to his body in a marriage gathering two days ago, but he changed his mind and surrendered to the Afghan copsThe teenager also said that five years back the Taliban attacked his home in Chardara district of Kunduz, killed his parents before his eyes, and took him along with his two brothers and two sisters. His father had served in the ranks of the Afghan Special Forces ...established in 2007 with the intent of taking one conventional infantry kandak (battalion) from each of the regional ANA corps, giving them special training and equipment, and reorganizing based on the U.S. Army Rangers. Each battalion is assigned to one of the six regional corps. The commandos comprise 7% of the Afghan National Security Forces but conduct 70% to 80% of the fighting... "They (the Taliban) sent my two brothers to Kabul to conduct suicide attacks, and I was deployed to Kunduz. They said that I should explode myself in an area where there are large numbers of people or attack any wedding ceremony. I came, but I was frightened," said the would-be suicide attacker.
Mukhtar claimed that one of his brothers was dispatched to conduct a suicide attack in Kabul two years ago, and the other brother was sent for the same purpose by the Taliban a month ago.
Mukhtar said that he does not know about the fate of his sisters, who were aged 10 and 8 when they were kidnapped five years back.
"There were ten to 15 people in areas where we were trained. My brothers conducted suicide attacks--they were 14 and 16 years old," said Sayed Mukhtar.
"This is one of the examples of how the Taliban has resorted to such brutal acts over the past decade-and-a-half. they could have devastated tens of youngsters and youths," said Tariq Aryan, a front man for the Ministry of Interior.
Afghan security officials say that most of the teenagers and youths who commit suicide attacks are being trained in Taliban camps.

This is what happens when a deep state overthrows its government. They take actions that are in their own interest, that harm their people. And since they are in control, they will never change.

In response, Pak pres has called Osama Bin Laden a martyr and Pak foreign policy agreements with the USA a bad mistake.
In truth, USA-Pak foreign policy under Bushes, Clinton and Obama was a dreadful mistake.

[KhaamaPress] The Deputy Political Chief of Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar also holds Pak passport and National Identity Card.
A former official of the National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) has told RFE/RL that three reliable intelligence sources have confirmed that Mullah Baradar holds Pak passport and National Identity Card.
The official further added that Pakistain has issued the documents to Mullah Baradar under the fake name of Muhammad Arif Agha.
Good to know.
The official also added that Pakistain has adopted a policy to issue passports and National Identity Cards to Taliban under fake identities in a bid to pave the way for them to travel abroad.
The documents were reportedly issued to Mullah Baradar in Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... city of Pakistain on 7th of July 2014.
However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... the Taliban group has rejected that Mullah Baradar holds Pak passport and National Identity Card, claiming that the pictures of documents circulating on social media are fake.
This comes as the former Taliban supreme leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor was also holding a Pak passport which was recovered following a dronezap which killed him in 2016.
Bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, was killed in 2011 when US special forces raided his hideout in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad, an operation that Pakistan was not told of in advance.
“I will never forget how we Pakistanis were embarrassed when the Americans came into Abbottabad and killed Osama bin Laden, martyred him,” Khan said, the BBC reported.
“Imran Khan called Osama bin Laden shaheed. Bin Laden brought terrorism to our lands, he was a terrorist through and through and he [Khan] calls him shaheed?” said Pakistan Muslim League senior leader Khawaja Asif Asif during the National Assembly session, reported Dawn.com, an English-language Pakistani news site.
Shaheed is an Arabic term for martyr.
Asif ripped Khan, calling bin Laden an “ultimate terrorist.”
“He destroyed my nation, and [Khan] is calling him a martyr,” Asif told Parliament.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, whose Pakistan Peoples Party was in power when bin Laden was killed, accused the prime minister of appeasing violent extremism, according to the BBC.

[KhaamaPress] An Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... killed at least 25 Lions of Islam of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... group in northern Balkh province of Afghanistan, the security sources said.
The Afghan Air Force reportedly carried out the airstrike in Dawlatabad district of Balkh province.
The sources further added that the Afghan Air Force targeted the Lions of Islam who had gathered in one of the local villages late on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, ...back at the pie fight, Bella grabbed the cocoanut cream... unconfirmed reports suggest that the airstrike also killed four civilians including a woman and a child.
However, a lie repeated often enough remains a lie... the local government officials and the Afghan military in the North rejected that the airstrike killed civilians, emphasizing that only Lions of Islam were killed in the raid.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrike so far.

Ima thinkrn Barr is ready to pop some knowledge under oath that Nads is too stoopid to know he shouldn't have asked for.
Sounds exciting!
[NY Post] Attorney General William Barr has agreed to testify before the House Judiciary Committee next month amid threats from Chairman Jerrold Nadler of subpoenas and a possible impeachment inquiry, his spokesperson announced.
Barr will deliver his testimony on July 28, at what his spokeswoman described as a "general oversight hearing."
No mention is made of what other topics will be discussed, but the testimony will come at an especially fraught time between Barr and Nadler (D-NY).
Judiciary Committee Democrats are investigating two issues with relation to Barr: his decision to fire a top federal prosecutor who was investigating President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and allegations that Justice Department prosecutors were told explicitly that political considerations influenced the handling of the case of Roger Stone, a longtime Trump associate.
That allegation comes from Aaron Zelinsky, a career Justice Department prosecutor who worked on cases as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, including the case against Stone.
Zelinsky, one of four lawyers who quit the Stone case after the department overruled their sentencing recommendation, testified before the Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
He said in his testimony that he was told in no uncertain terms, "Stone was being treated differently from any other defendant because of his relationship to the president."
On the issue of the top federal prosecutor, Nadler and his panel have pledged to investigate the firing of Geoffrey Berman — following an extraordinary standoff over the independence of one of the country’s most important federal prosecutor’s offices.
The US attorney for the Southern District of New York had been investigating Giuliani before his ouster.
Barr announced last Friday that Berman was stepping down and that US Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton would be his successor.
Berman refused to resign until the Senate confirmed his successor, and said his office’s investigations would continue.
Only after Barr agreed to let Berman’s deputy Audrey Strauss to take the reins did Berman agree to step down.
Nadler slammed Barr over the firing of Berman over the weekend, arguing that he deserved to be impeached for his actions while cautioning that the effort would be a "waste of time."
The New York Democrat argued that Senate Republicans would block any of their efforts to impeach Barr.
On Monday, as rumors circulated about the potential for the committee to hit Barr with a subpoena, the committee’s ranking member, Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), wrote Nadler a letter urging him instead to privately find a mutually agreeable date for the attorney general to testify.
The effort appears to have been successful, as a date was announced within two days.
With testimony set, Barr spokeswoman Kerri Kupec is hitting back at the House Democrats, calling their threats to impeach the attorney general a "political thing."
Speaking to Fox News on Wednesday, Kupec said, "If people have a problem with Bill Barr coming back to the Department of Justice to restore one system of justice, not a two-tiered system, I think that says a lot more about the critics than it does about the attorney general."

Nadler ought to be prosecuted for impersonating a Congressman along with obstruction of justice. IMHO, he is a part of the cover-up and "insurance policy." I don't think any of this will come about though. The Dems will keep him in place because he is a constant in trying to do damage to the Pubs and Trump.
Now if the Pubs should take the House, keep the Senate and the Presidency, a different scenario might come about...
A member of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Kawa Sheikh Mouss, in a special statement to a Sputnik Arabic correspondent in Iraq, revealed on Thursday, June 25, an Iranian move in the border areas with the Iraqi state, and clashes with the Iranian Democratic Party (PJAK).
Sheikh Mouss explained that the Iranian forces carried out combing operations at the borders, and there were skirmishes and armed clashes between them and the elements of the PJAK, who were present in Iranian territory.
Sheikh Mouss confirmed that the Iranian forces bombed several sites of the Iranian Kurdish Democratic Party, in some areas where they are, denying the occurrence of clashes between the Iranian army and PKK elements.
At the same time, the Turkish Army has continued their attacks against the PKK forces in northern Iraq, which is an affiliate of the PJAK.
Both Iran and Turkey have been involved in heavy clashes with these groups for over a week, as they seek to eliminate the PKK/PJAK presence from their border regions.

In first raid of its kind, Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service detains members of Iran-affiliated Kataeb Hezbollah militia force in Baghdad.
Iraqi security forces arrested more than a dozen pro-Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... fighters overnight, in their first raid against those accused of anti-US rocket attacks, Iraqi officials told AFP early Friday.
Elite fighters from Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service raided a headquarters in southern Baghdad used by Kataeb Hezbollah, a pro-Iran faction also identified as Brigade 45 of the Hashed al-Shaabi military force.
"Based on intelligence information, a CTS unit raided a base used by Brigade 45, seizing three rocket launchers and arresting 13 fighters," one of the officials said.
Since October, nearly three dozen attacks have targeted American interests in Iraq, including a range of military bases, the US embassy in Baghdad and US oil companies. They have killed Iraqi, US and UK military personnel.
The US has blamed Kataeb Hezbollah for the attacks and has retaliated twice, in both cases after rockets killed US military personnel stationed at Iraqi bases.
Washington has pressured Baghdad to take tougher action against the group, and Thursday’s late-night raid is the first of its kind.
Kataeb Hezbollah is a powerful faction within the Hashed al-Shaabi, a network of gangs that have been integrated into the Iraqi security forces.
Kateab Hezbollah members are known to be close to Iran and deeply opposed to the US presence in the region.
The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service, meanwhile, was set up by US forces following the 2003 invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein and is largely seen as a force friendly to Washington.
Its commander, Abdulwahab al-Saadi, was appointed last month by new prime minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi, whom Washington considers an ally.
Under Kadhemi, Iraq and the US launched a strategic dialogue earlier this month to reset the bilateral relationship.
The start of the talks coincided with a significant spike in rocket attacks, with six incidents targeting American installations over the course of two weeks.
The escalation shattered the period of relative calm that had settled in after particularly high tensions between Iran and the US spilled over into Iraq.
Iran is Iraq’s influential eastern neighbor and holds considerable sway over political and military actors in Baghdad.
[THEBAGHDADPOST] Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... would be open to talks with the United States if Washington apologises for exiting a 2015 nuclear deal and compensates Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani ...Iran's moderate president, which he is, relative to his predecessor, which doesn't mean he's anything but a puppet of the nearest holy man... said on Wednesday, cautioning that U.S. calls for discussions were insincere.
The confrontation between arch foes Tehran and Washington has worsened since 2018, when U.S. President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... withdrew from Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with major powers and reimposed sanctions that have crippled Iran’s economy.
Iran has refused to hold any talks with the United States, which is trying to force Tehran to negotiate a new deal, unless Washington lifts sanctions on Tehran and returns to the original agreement.
In a tweet in early June, Trump repeated Washington’s call for a new deal with Tehran aimed at putting stricter limits on Tehran’s nuclear work, curbs its ballistic missile program and ends its decades of regional proxy wars.
"We have no problem with talks with the U.S., but only if Washington fulfils its obligations under the nuclear deal, apologies and compensates Tehran for its withdrawal from the 2015 deal," Rouhani said in a televised speech.
"But we know these calls for talks with Tehran are just words and lies," he added.
In retaliation for Washington’s ’maximum pressure’ policy, Iran has gradually scaled back its nuclear commitments, a process Tehran says is reversible if the European parties to the pact carry out their promises to shield Iran’s economy from U.S. penalties.
"The Europeans have failed to fulfil their promises. They should carry out their obligations," Rouhani said.
Rouhani also blasted a resolution by the U.N. nuclear watchdog passed on Friday that called on Iran to stop denying the agency access to two suspected former sites and to cooperate fully with it.
"Iran is ready to cooperate with the (ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency) IAEA under law," he said.

I was under the impression that the field marshal was a bit too concerned with personal projects to go running off to the other side of the world...
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Venezuela ...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeded places like Honduras and El Salvador. A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south... n Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, commented on the allegations about the alleged visit of Libyan National Army (LNA) commander, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... , to Caracas last month."There have been no visits by any of the parties to the Libyan conflict to Venezuela," Arreaza said during a presser after his visit to Moscow.
He stressed that "Venezuela does not intend to interfere in the internal affairs of Libya," noting that his country "is open to cooperation between the two sides, but there have been no contacts or visits."
The Venezuelan embassy in Washington, which opposes the government of Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela, published on its official website, information that Haftar visited Venezuela.
The confirmation came through the Venezuelan opposition Juan Guaidó ...Venezuelan politician, a member of the social-democratic Popular Will party, and serves as a federal deputy to the National Assembly representing the state of Vargas. In 2019 he was appointed by the Popular Will party to become the president of the National Assembly, after which he declared he was acting president of the country, challenging Nicolás Maduro's presidency and starting the 2019 Venezuelan presidential crisis.... , who indicated through his private sources about this secret visit by Khalifa Haftar to Venezuela to meet Nicholas Maduro and discuss the possibility of cooperation between them.
A Libyan media agency, quoting "well-informed sources", denied news that Haftar had taken refuge in Venezuela.
The sources told "Libya 24 News Agency" that "the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar is currently at the headquarters of the General Command in al-Rajma, and not as the Venezuelan embassy in the United States claimed."
The sources confirmed, "the news of Haftar’s arrival in Venezuela for asylum, which was published on the official website of the Venezuelan embassy in America, is completely untrue."

[EpochTimes] Club For Growth (CFG) President David McIntosh says there is deep, bipartisan public support for the deregulation being sought by the coalition.
He cites an April CFG survey of 1,000 likely voters by WPA Intelligence that "found 66% support and 34% oppose Congress giving President Trump the authority to waive costly regulatory requirements on American businesses in order to speed the economic recovery from the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... epidemic. This has the support of 91% of Republicans, 62% of Independents, and 45% of Democrats."
Trump is constantly criticized for his controversial Twitter posts, but McIntosh, who worked on deregulation issues for then-Vice President Dan Quayle, sees a tactical plus for the coalition there.
"Everything you did of this nature was going to end up on the front page of The Washington Post," he said, "but with Trump, they’re covering whatever he’s tweeting about, and the agencies can go about their business and not be panicky that they’re not going to be hauled in to explain why they got bad press."

[DAILYWIRE] Sparked by a mix of anti-police sentiment, "vigilantism," and apparent misinformation via social media, chaos erupted in Milwaukee on Tuesday during the search for missing teen girls. According to local news reports and video footage, in the process of the urgent search, officers and other first responders had bricks thrown at them, three people were maimed in a related shooting, and a house was burned to the ground.
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Wednesday that the crowd outside the home that was later burned to the ground included "a mix of neighbors observing the situation, people expressing frustration with police and activists who’d marched in Milwaukee’s racial justice protests."
"What started Tuesday as a missing-persons investigation morphed over the course of several hours as tensions about police treatment ran high and rumors spread online," the report outlined. "By nightfall, three people — including two 14-year-olds — had been shot, a house was set on fire, and police had fired tear gas and pepper spray on some members of a scattered crowd of hundreds who’d gathered outside a Milwaukee house where police earlier conducted an investigation into two missing teenage girls."

He succeeded Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to lead the terror organization less than a week after Baghdadi was killed in a US operation in northern Syria in October.
Al-Mawla oversees ISIS/ISIS’ global operations after helping to "justify the abduction, slaughter, and trafficking of members of Yazidi religious minority groups in northwest Iraq," the State Department said.
He was previously a religious scholar in the terror group that preceded ISIS/ISIS, al-Qaeda in Iraq, before becoming deputy leader of the terror group under Baghdadi.

While no one has grabbed credit for the attack, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) suspects that it was conducted by the U.S. Coalition.
On June 14th, the U.S. Coalition carried out a similar attack, as they assassinated two leaders of the al-Qaeda-linked Hurras al-Deen terrorist group in Idlib.

^ ☺ Nope. The cheapo contractor called Mira Miri Tents, whom we 'procure' our larger tents and portable structures from is obsessed with pink or can't be bothered to use a dye.
Also nobody cares to 'flage anything because there's no such thing as tactics here.
[Rudaw] An air strike has targeted a shop in a village resort near the Iranian border in Sulaimani province, a local official tells Rudaw.
"An unknown warplane targeted a shop in Kuna Masi village in Sharbazhir," Shaho Osman, mayor of Sharbazhir town in northeastern Sulaimani province told Rudaw on Thursday.
Osman said in a presser that a "fighter" was killed and at least six civilians maimed when two missiles targeted a pickup truck near a shop near a resort in Kuna Masi, a village popular among tourists. He did not specify what affiliation the fighter was, but added that the civilians are two men, two women, and two children, of whom five are from one family.
The strike killed one man who was in the car," local official Kameran Abdallah told AFP, without being able to specify if the victim was a civilian or fighter.
"The six maimed consisted of two women, two children and two men, all members of the same family," he added.
The Kurdistan Region's border areas have come under fire from both Ottoman Turkish and Iranian strikes over the past ten days, as part of a military offensive with the stated aim of targeting suspected positions of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the region.
The Ottoman Turkish Defense Ministry has said it has bombed hundreds of targets in the mountains between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... and Iraq as part of a combined aerial and land-based assault dubbed Operation Claw-Eagle, which began on June 15.
Video uploaded to Twitter by a user named Jil Swani, which he told Rudaw English was taken by his brother, shows children playing leisurely in a pool of water with their parents. Suddenly, a loud explosion is heard, sending the terrified people running before the video abruptly ends.
The origin of the strike remains unknown. Swani later tweeted that the people pictured in the video he shared are "all physically okay, so that’s very lucky."
Bold move tonight from Iraq’s Prime Minister. Iraqi security forces have raided a HQ of Ketaib Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy that threatened to burn Iraq to the ground if @MAKadhimi became PM. This could quickly escalate & will cause significant discomfort in Tehran.
IRGC-linked social media accounts claim that "40 #US army armoured vehicles accompanied CTS, raided PMF's 45 brigade's headquarter ( Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah) in #Baghdad and detained its four leaders"
#IRAN state TV is now reporting that blast in a gas facility near a defense ministry base was the cause of the explosion in eastern #Tehran. It quotes an informed military source as saying that the gas facility is not related to military sites in the area.

Version I read suggested odd things regarding body cameras falling off, being picked, and then told to drop them again. Don't know how credible that all was but odd if the cameras shot that.
Two weeks behind the bandwagon, so are we talking:
Incompetence
Rolling Cycle
Took this long to find a viable example
Way to punt on opening parks and destinations
Distraction from infrastructure failures
Urban leftist appeasement
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A breakthrough that led to the creation of new neurons in mice could be used to transplant brain cells in Parkinson's patients and cure them of the disease.
University of California San Diego School of Medicine researchers created neurons in mice using a new, much simpler method that involved rewriting genes.
Parkinson's disease is characterised by a loss of dopaminergic neurons in a region of the brain responsible for reward and movement - replacing those cells could help to reduce or even reverse the symptoms of the degenerative disease.
Xiang-Dong Fu and his team say their findings suggest certain brain cells called astrocytes can be turned into functional dopaminergic neurons.
It is early in the research, but these newly produced brain cells could one day be implanted into a Parkinson's patient to help their condition.
'It's my dream to see this through to clinical trials, to test this approach as a treatment for Parkinson's disease, but also many other diseases where neurons are lost, such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's diseases and stroke,'
The study published in Nature was conducted in isolated human cells and in mice.
'Researchers around the world have tried many ways to generate neurons in the lab, using stem cells and other means, so we can study them better, as well as to use them to replace lost neurons in neurodegenerative diseases,' said Dr Fu.
'The fact that we could produce so many neurons in such a relatively easy way came as a big surprise,' the lead author on the paper said.
[ADDRESSLIBYA.CO] Terrorists are hiding among the migrants colonists fleeing to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... to escape the war in Libya, Italia’s Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio stated on Thursday.
"The conflict in Libya, which I remind you is close to Italia’s coasts, result in migrants colonists fleeing the war and seeking shelter elsewhere. And very often turbans as well are hiding among these people who are fleeing," Di Maio wrote in post via Facebook.
"Working intensely to stop the war in Libya means therefore stabilizing the region, but at the same time securing our country, our coasts, our citizens," the top Italian diplomat added.
Di Maio went on to write that following his meeting with Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... -based premier Fayez al-Sarraj, the latter presented him with a proposal to change the 2017 Italia-Libya agreement on migrant.
"I can tell you that we are going in the right direction," he concluded.

Someone in marketing a long time ago focused on the woke crowd, the urban youths, the trendy kids of the privileged caste and those who want to be identified with them. Adapt or perish.

Early on back in the Old Testament when I was a kid, men were admired for doing what they thought was right and consensus be damned. Now it would appear that there is no higher or more desired accolade than getting your PC ticket punched. All concerns of honor, decency, or sere practicality being seemingly unimportant.
That said, couldn't happen to a better bunch and I earnestly hope it is the start of a long trend.
[ADDRESSLIBYA] A Libyan human trafficker, who is under sanctions by the United Nations ...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense... , was reappointed as head of Zawiya Coast Guard, UN official said.
Vincent Cochetel, Special Envoy of the UNHCR for the Central Mediterranean, stated in a tweet today that Abd al Rahman al-Milad, known as the "Bedja", was reappointed as head of Zawiya Coast Guard.
"Well-known UN sanctioned human trafficker re-appointed as Head of Azzawyah Coast Guards in Libya. Who took this decision? Who is accountable?," Cochetel stated.
