Clinton Donors Charged in Massive Campaign-Finance Scheme
[National Review] Eight people, including major Hillary Clinton donors and a witness in the Mueller investigation, have been charged in a massive campaign-finance scheme, the Justice Department announced on Tuesday.

The individuals conspired to “make and conceal conduit and excessive campaign contributions” valued around $3.5 million in the 2016 election campaign and beyond, according to the announcement. Although the indictment does not specifically name the recipient of the donations, it is clear that the contributions went to groups allied with Clinton’s presidential campaign.

One of those charged, George Nader, is a Lebanese American businessman who was a witness in the Mueller report. Nader was also caught in 2018 in possession of child pornography, but received partial immunity in exchange for testimony in the Mueller investigation. He faces between 15 to 40 years in prison if convicted on child-pornography charges.

Also indicted on campaign-finance charges was Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, who hosted a fundraiser for Clinton in Los Angeles in 2016 and who conspired to conceal campaign donations from 2016 to 2018. Khawaja owns an online-payments company used by, among others, debt collectors, offshore gamblers, and pornographers. The company has made numerous campaign donations to both Democrats and Republicans.

Nader also gained access to the Trump administration, meeting with the president on several occasions. Nader has experience in international diplomacy, has served as a diplomatic conduit to the Middle East and Russia, and was an informal adviser to the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates.

#1  George Aref Nader (Arabic: جورج نادر‎, born May 15, 1959) is an American businessman, lobbyist, and convicted sex offender. He has acted as an unofficial liaison between Washington politicians and the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and as a lobbyist for private security firm Blackwater.

Nader is an adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and a consultant to Blackwater founder Erik Prince. In January 2018, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators questioned Nader in connection to suspicions that the UAE had been involved with President Trump’s 2016 campaign.[2] In December 2019, Nader was charged in U.S. federal court with violating campaign finance laws by allegedly pushing over three and half million dollars towards Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign for the U.S. Presidency while obscuring the source of the money.[3]

Nader was sentenced in the 1990s for transporting child pornography publications, and imprisoned in 2003 for sexually abusing ten boys in the Czech Republic.[4] In June 2019, he was arrested and charged with transporting pornography depicting child sexual abuse and bestiality.[5][6]

Bald eagle smashes window at Virginia tax office, flies off
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A bald eagle has made an unexpected appearance at a Virginia tax preparation office, slamming into a window and then apparently flying off without serious injuries.

The Virginian-Pilot reports the mature bald eagle struck a window Monday at an H&R Block office in Norfolk, leaving a hole nearly three feet (one meter wide) and scattering glass shards over the office floor.

Harry Patterson Jr., who runs a neighboring insurance office, says he was on the phone when he saw what he thought looked like a stuffed animal. Patterson says the office is closed until tax season.

A spokesman for H&R Block acknowledged the incident.

Japanese doctor dies after attack in Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) ‐ A Japanese physician and aid worker in eastern Afghanistan died of his wounds after an attack Wednesday that also killed five Afghans, including the doctor’s bodyguards, the driver and a passenger, a hospital spokesman said.

The attack in Nangarhar province targeted Japanese doctor Tetsu Nakamura as he was heading to the provincial capital, Jalalabad, according to the provincial governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani.

Nakamura was seriously wounded and was reported to be in critical condition immediately after the attack. He underwent surgery at a local hospital but died of his wounds shortly after, while being airlifted to the Bagram airfield hospital in the capital, Kabul, said Gulzada Sanger, the hospital spokesman.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed shock at the brutal killing. "As a doctor, Mr. Nakamura made great contributions in areas of medical care in Afghanistan," Abe told reporters in Tokyo, stressing that Nakamura risked his life daily "in a dangerous and intense region."

Nakamura had headed the Japanese charity, Peace Medical Service, in Nangarhar since 2008. He came to Afghanistan after a Japanese colleague, Kazuya Ito, was abducted and killed.
Tolo News adds:
The Taliban’s spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid tweeted that the Taliban has “no connection” with the attack, and no other group has so far claimed responsibility.

Palace spokesman Sediq Sediqqi on twitter strongly condemned the attack on Afghanistan’s “greatest friend,” and said that Dr. Nakamura “dedicated all his life to change the lives of Afghans, working on water management, dams and improving traditional agriculture in Afghanistan.”

TOLOnews reporter Abdulhaq Omeri said that Dr. Nakamura worked more than a decade in the province and was recently awarded an honorary Afghan citizenship by President Ghani.

  • Duncan Hunter finally pleaded guilty to abuse of $250,000 in campaign funds in a plea deal with federal prosecutors in San Diego

  • Republican had fought allegations for more than a year and called it a 'witch hunt' claiming he was being targeted like Donald Trump

  • But after his wife Margaret took a plea deal which would have seen her testify, he changed his tune and admitted to corruption

  • Campaign cash was illegally spent on entertaining string of mistresses, family trips abroad, and even a first class ticket for Eggburt the Hunters' pet rabbit

  • Hunter, 42, is yet to say when he will stand down; he is scion of political dynasty and his father Duncan Hunter Sr. held the 50th CA District before him

  • Outside the court crowd jeered 'lock him up' and held up signs saying 'Trump next'; Hunter was one of first two GOP congressmen to endorse then candidate

  • Other one was Chris Collins, who quit the House in September after pleading guilty to insider trading

Schiff Hired Alleged Whistleblower Ciaramella's Former Colleague the Day After the Trump-Ukraine Call
[Red State] How deep and questionable were the contacts between Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the alleged whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella?

We got another piece of the puzzle today, with what has to be the "coincidence" of all time.

Ciaramella, the CIA officer who was on the NSC during the Obama administration and worked on Ukrainian issues with Joe Biden. He was Biden’s guest at a State Department banquet in October 2016.

Ciaramella continued in that NSC position during the Trump administration. He had a good buddy who he worked with on the NSC, Sean Misko. An official spoke to the Washington Examiner and described the two as "bros" who had similarly antagonistic feelings toward the Trump administration.

Prior to working with the NSC, Misko "worked in the Obama administration as a member of the secretary of state’s policy planning staff for deputy chief of staff Jake Sullivan, who became Hillary Clinton’s senior foreign policy adviser during her 2016 presidential campaign." That perhaps explains the antagonistic feeling toward the Trump administration.

While we knew that Misko subsequently went to work for Schiff, prior records had suggested that he started in August. But according to the Washington Examiner, new records indicate his official date of hire was July 26, the day after the Trump-Zelensky phone call. Gee, one has to wonder about the nature of the timing and how that came about, because that’s blinking red flags all over the place.

He isn’t the first NSC Obama-holdover who Schiff hired. Abigail Grace worked for the NSC under Trump until 2018. She was hired by Schiff in February.

Both Misko and Grace are now working on the impeachment proceedings for Schiff. The new report released by Schiff lists Misko as part of the "impeachment inquiry investigative staff" and Grace as part of "oversight staff."

The whistleblower filed his complaint on August 12.

Texas Couple Gets Sentenced to a Total of 155 Months for Smuggling Over 100 Illegal Immigrants Across the Border
RedState
Here’s something you don’t come across every day. A couple in Texas is going to prison for smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S.

30-year-old Brianna Branch and 32-year-old Kevin Barr were hit with time behind bars by U.S. District Judge Janis Jack for smuggling over 100 people into the country during a three-month period.

According to the DoJ, the pair led a conspiracy to sneak adults and minors past South Texas Border Patrol checkpoints. They recruited drivers in Houston to truck it over to the border and put the pilgrims into utility trailers.

That constituted, in the eyes of the Justice Department, "unnecessary and harsh conditions."

The couple’s soon to be transferred to a U.S. Bureau of Prisons facility.

...For his role, Kevin’s gettin’ contained for 85 months. Brianna’s being breadboxed for 70.

Gen. Anthony Tata: Trump was right, fired Navy secretary was wrong on Eddie Gallagher case
h/t RedState
[Fox News] Fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer’s outburst at President Trump in a Washington Post op-ed published Wednesday, calling the president’s handling of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s case a "shocking and unprecedented intervention in a low-level review" is in and of itself shocking and unprecedented in several ways.

Spencer wrote: "The president has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices."

In reality, Spencer is the man who bypassed the chain of command by cutting Secretary of Defense Mark Esper out of his scheming and working a backroom deal. Now, after being exposed, Spencer submissively avails himself to an eager mainstream media ready to consume his invective aimed at the president, creating the very chaos he blames on the president.

Spencer aligned himself with the prosecution, adding more weight to the suffocating pressure of a resource-rich bureaucracy bearing down on the defense attorney and his client, Gallagher. Commanders and secretaries with decision-making and appellate authority are meant to be neutral by design, open to evidence, mitigation, and extenuation from both sides of the case.

Those, like Spencer, who lack the requisite experience of leading large numbers of servicemen and women often fall prey to their own emotion-driven predilections. Spencer wanted the Navy to be right, so he followed prosecution guidance in a case that was marred by prosecutorial overreach.

For example:

Navy prosecutor Cmdr. Christopher Czaplak secretly embedded a tracking virus in an image of the scales of justice and the American flag on emails he exchanged with Gallagher’s defense attorneys, affording him an illegal window into the defense strategy.

Czaplak’s prosecution team, which included Naval Criminal Investigative Service officials, tampered with witnesses in efforts to prevent testimony, tainted the jury pool by leaking reports to the media favorable to the prosecution, and then conspired to shield those crimes as the defense brought them to light.

When Gallagher refused to sign a confession, reports indicate the brig commander moved him to solitary confinement, something we in the military recognize as an "enhanced interrogation" technique. Gallagher’s only "misbehavior" was not doing what the prosecution was badgering him to do. Sensory deprivation is solely intended to influence the target. It didn’t work on Gallagher, but they tried.

Spencer argues that the president’s intervention in a "low level" case is counter to the good order and discipline of the military. There is nothing "low level" about a wartime murder trial involving a Navy SEAL where a jury of Gallagher’s combat veteran peers found him not guilty of all crimes with which he was charged save being one of 12 individuals who posed for a picture with a dead combatant. Wrong, yes, but not something that justifies such an aggressive prosecution.

Lastly, Spencer’s quibbling over whether the president’s tweet was a "direct order" or not demonstrates how petty and vengeful he was toward Gallagher. The president was right to intervene to prevent a biased, small-minded person like Spencer from spitefully tilting the weight of the bureaucracy on top of a single sailor. Servicemen and women enjoy the same due process rights as the civilians of the country they serve.

As Spencer and his hashtags fade over the next several days, the president’s support of warfighters over bureaucrats will increase the morale of those in the rank and file. The critics will angrily accuse the president of supporting a war criminal, but the real crimes in this case have been papered over by a secretary of the Navy eager to avoid embarrassment at the expense of a sailor who, on the whole, served honorably.

Former US intel official sez POTUS would often push back in briefings, ask questions, challenge briefers
[The Hill] Former Deputy Director of National Intelligence Susan Gordon, who resigned in August, said Tuesday that President Trump frequently expressed doubt in response to his intelligence briefings.

Speaking to the Women’s Foreign Policy Group, Gordon said Trump had two frequent responses during briefings, CNN reported.

"The one is 'I'm not sure I believe that,'" Gordon said, according to CNN. "And the other is the second-order and third-order effects. 'Why is that true? Why are we there? Why is this what you believe? Why do we do that?' Those sorts of things."

Gordon implied that briefing the president frequently left intelligence officials unsure of where else he was receiving information that may have contributed to his doubt.

"Remember, intelligence is fundamentally a craft of uncertainty and of possibility, so that doesn't put you off. It's trying to catch up to how you adjudicate the sources that led him to believe that and how you respond to it," she said.

Trump, she added, "is probably the first president that arrived with no framework and a world that has massively available information with infinite people offering opinion that ofttimes sound the same but in fact are grittier because they are ‐ they don't have to have the same standard."

Because of the president’s business background, "we were scrambling a bit to try and produce intelligence that was foundationally useful for someone who is interested in making trades and deals," she said.

However, Gordon said that she found the president was "actually kind of a fun brief because he was interactive" and "he would challenge you," CNN reported.

Mr. Trump is a multibillionaire with business ventures around the world that are strongly affected by events on the ground. I have no doubt he has been paying for personal reports from private intelligence sources for decades, and his sons continue to do so as a standing business expense. As such he would know exactly what to expect in at least some of the places our former DDNI was reporting to him about, and could contrast his historic knowledge with what he was being told.

Gordon said that she found the president was "actually kind of a fun brief because he was interactive" and "he would challenge you," CNN reported.

#16  What TW said. This is standard experience for any executive overseeing any complex multinational organization, be it private, public, profit or nonprofit.

The executive has to sift and evaluate an extraordinary amount of complex information, presented to him or her by subordinates who have agendas, who are fallible and who themselves are processing and filtering information emerging from their own organizations.

In short a good executive has exceptional BS-detection skills and the ability to simplify and clarify extremely complex info.

Note that neither of Trump's two predecessors had any such executive experience prior to becoming POTUS. No wonder they were so easily gulled, and that they allowed the Deep State to accrete such monstrous influence on their (non-)watch.

#18  The unspoken aspect of the PDB process, is the taskings the President adds to his briefing, concerning either more granularity on something that has been briefed to him, or something that he wants more information about based on other sources, including a wide-ranging awareness of OSINT (OpenSource). The pattern of those taskings points to his trust/and/or skepticism of the contents he is being fed. Any good exec knows after a bit if he is being led by omission of data or context. If that is suspected, ruthless crosswalking of secondary sources is needed to confirm it, and then quick defenestration if true.

Betsy DeVos has cut 600 staff positions at the Department of Education
h/t Instapundit
Remember the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as education secretary? It feels kind of quaint now, because congressional Democrats have so completely outdone their hysterics in the time since.

For the first time, a vice president had to break the tie in favor of confirmation, all because liberals didn’t like that DeVos was wealthy and unlikely to devote her energy as secretary to ensuring that the department worked for teachers unions rather than students.

If Democrats and the national media weren’t in a sticky mess right now over impeachment, they might notice that DeVos has done some things that might concern them. And she still has at least a year left to do more.

The Washington Examiner's editorial board recently checked in with DeVos for her thoughts on her tenure as secretary.

She said in an interview that she’s most proud of introducing a major bill that would make $5 billion available to parents of K-12 students so that they can choose where their child attends school.

She also noted her rollback of the Obama-era guidelines on adjudicating sexual misconduct claims in higher education. DeVos’s new regulations on the subject are set to go into effect soon and ensure all students have the right to due process ‐ a nice change from the current standard, which basically offers prayer as the only defense for male students accused of sexual misconduct.

But something DeVos has consistently said since the start was that her primary goal is to shrink the department all around, reducing its power as much as possible.

She’s had some success there. Under her watch, the department has eliminated 600 staff positions, bringing the total from 4,300 to 3,700.
I wonder how that compares to how much President Obama expanded it...

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Fusion GPS Leaders: Chris Steele Hired Us First ‐ to Find Manafort Dirt for Russian Oligarch
[Breitbart] Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the infamous "pee dossier" on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump, was first hired by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to obtain damaging information on Paul Manafort ‐ weeks before the firm hired him to produce his now-discredited, conspiracy-weaving dossier.

The explosive admission was made by Fusion GSP co-founders Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch in the pair’s recently-released book ‐ Crime in Progress ‐ and highlighted in a Monday report by American Greatness.

"Weeks before Trump tapped Manafort to run his campaign, Christopher Steele had hired Fusion for help investigating Manafort," write Fritsch and Simpson. "The matter had nothing to do with politics and was a typical commercial assignment."

The Fusion GPS co-founders say their firm cut a nominal agreement to "research Manafort’s finances" for a client of Steele, now infamous for authoring a dossier alleging collusion between President Trump and the Kremlin.

Fritsch and Simpson contend that the retired Secret Intelligence Service MI6 agent’s client was Oleg Deripaska, an oligarch and close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Deripaska sought to determine whether Manafort had stolen money from him, according to the book.

"[Christopher Steele] did not disclose the ultimate client for the job, and Fusion didn’t press the issue," claim the Fusion GSP co-founders.

American Greatness notes of the Fusion GPS-Steele deal: "That means Glenn Simpson represented not one but two Russian tycoons in 2016: At the same time Fusion was helping Steele on behalf of Deripaska, Simpson also was representing Prevezon, another company owned by a Putin-tied Russian also under investigation by the Justice Department for money laundering."

Notably, a timeline of events shows Fusion GPS’s investigation into Manafort occurred while they sought dirt on the 2016 Trump campaign.

Chicom Nightmare: Hong Kong protests spread to gigantic Guangdong province
h/t Instapundit
[AmericanThinker] The Chicoms have a problem.

Seems the Hong Kong protests they are so desperate to tamp down have started to ignite elsewhere, deep into China's cities.

Here's one the Chicoms really didn't want:

Protesters in southern Guangdong province, China, took to the streets last week to demand the communist government not build a polluting crematorium near their town, adopting slogans common to the Hong Kong protest movement, Time magazine noted on Monday.

The Hong Kong newspaper Apple Daily, which openly supports the anti-communist movement, reported the use of slogans such as "revolution of our times," which China considers seditious hate speech, and "just like you, Hong Kong!" in Guangdong. As China heavily censors coverage of the Hong Kong protests and bans all statements of support from the few permitted social media sites in the country, the adoption of the Hong Kong movement's slogans and tactics is a sign that people within Communist China are informing themselves regarding the protests through unapproved means.

#9  Given that most Chinese dynasties collapse due to the destructive aspect of corruption, Xi should be concerned.

Actually, that's the way it's portrayed in Chinese historical accounts, which are written as homilies/parables for future rulers. In reality, it's really the same reason that all other regime changes occur - power struggles among elites or, uniquely in China's case, armed revolution from below. The Han, Ming and (current) Red dynasties are all the fruit of peasant revolts. Since the establishment of a unitary continental-sized state in Northeast Asia by the First Emperor 2200 years ago, roughly 1/3 of its duration has been under the rule of these three regimes. It would be as if one of the Servile Wars had established a commoner as Emperor whose progeny ruled Rome for 1/3 of its existence. There was no comparable phenomenon in Europe for most of its history, until the French Revolution. And the three Chinese dynasties mentioned were only the first place winners. There were multiple first runner-ups, peasant rebels all, that came within a whisker of the throne. Such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liu_Bei Liu Bei, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Zicheng Li Zicheng and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Xiuquan Hong Xiuquan. And these aren't even the full extent of the roster, and that's not even counting the honorable mentions.

Egypt govt legalises status of 87 unlicensed churches
[AlAhram] This brings the number of churches and service buildings approved by the committee to 1,222 during the past year and a half

At a Tuesday meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the committee tasked with rectifying the status of unlicensed Christian places of worship approved the legalisation of the status of 87 churches and service buildings.

This brings the number of churches and service buildings approved by the committee to 1,222 during the past year and a half, according to a cabinet statement

During the meeting, the committee went over the reviewal of applications submitted by churches and service buildings during the past month and a half since the committee's last meeting on 22 October.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of justice, parliamentary affairs, local development, and housing.

Representatives of Christian denominations and other stakeholders also attended the meeting.

Egyptian cabinet front man Nader Saad said that the committee has also reviewed the progress of the previously approved churches and service buildings in fulfilling their civil protection requirements, in order to protect lives and preserve properties.

Saad said that the code for the requirements has been recently amended in order to facilitate the process for churches.

Reverend Mikhail Anton, representative of the Coptic Orthodox Church, said that Pope Tawadros always stresses the importance of all churches and buildings meeting civil protection requirements.

There are, however, some exceptional cases that face difficulties in fully implementing the requirements, thus there should be alternative measures, he said.

The cabinet said in its statement that the prime minister had called for the situation of these churches to be studied to find the best alternative solutions to achieve the required protection.

Madbouly also stressed during the meeting that any churches built on state-owned land should reconcile with the state.

Representatives of Christian denominations at the meeting assured their full commitment to the state the required dues.

Iraq
Talks in Iraq capital as violence hits shrine cities
[AlAhram] Iraq's politicians gathered in Baghdad on Tuesday to discuss a way out of two months of protests that brought down the previous government, as violence hit two Shiite shrine cities.

In Najaf, seat of Iraq's Shiite religious leadership, anti-government demonstrators gathered late into the night around the tomb of a holy man who founded a Shiite party, an AFP correspondent reported.

Armed men in civilian clothes who were guarding the tomb were seen firing shotguns and tear gas at protesters, but medics could not provide an immediate casualty toll.

It is part of a larger complex that has been surrounded for days by demonstrators denouncing the rule of an entrenched political elite.

Najaf has been a flashpoint since protesters torched the Iranian consulate in the city last Wednesday, accusing Iraq's eastern neighbour of propping up a corrupt government in Baghdad.

Around two dozen protesters have died since, and the governor has called on the central government to put an end to the violence.

Influential tribal dignitaries have also tried to mediate and on Tuesday they called on populist holy man Moqtada Sadr and his Saraya al-Salam (Peace Brigades) to intervene, according to a statement by Sadr's office.

He has yet to respond.

Sadr was a key sponsor of outgoing prime minister Adel Abdel Mahdi after having won the lion's share of seats in parliament in a May 2018 general election.

But he backed the protests early on and instructed his fighters to "protect" demonstrators from security forces.

In the shrine city of Karbala, renewed street festivities between protesters and security forces raged late into the night, an AFP correspondent reported.

Riot police fired live rounds and tear gas at the crowds.

Protests also continued in other parts of the south against the central government and Iran, whose pointman for Iraqi affairs Qasem Soleimani is in Iraq for talks.

Political factions were meeting on Tuesday to find a replacement for Abdel Mahdi and to hash out a new electoral law to oversee a snap general election.

The protesters, who have thronged the streets since early October, say they want more than just a premier and new elections.

They have also called for a new constitution and the abolition of the parties that have dominated Iraqi politics for more than a decade.

Husband Of Democrat In Impeachment Hearings Took $700K From Firms Tied To Ukrainian Oligarch ‘Accused Of Ordering Contract Killings'
h/t Instapundit
The husband of Democrat Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL), who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, reportedly took $700,000 from firms connected to a Ukrainian oligarch who has allegedly been "accused of ordering contract killings."

The Miami Herald reported last year:
Public records show that Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s husband, Robert Powell, spent much of the last 10 years as general counsel for companies owned at least in part by Igor Kolomoisky, a wealthy Ukrainian businessman involved in banking and mining. In federal financial disclosures, Mucarsel-Powell reported that her husband of 15 years earned most of their household income during the previous two years ‐ at least $695,000 ‐ from a ferroalloys trading corporation associated with Kolomoisky.

The connections between Robert Powell and Kolomoisky were first reported by Daily Beast reporter Betsy Swan last year ‐ who also highlighted some of the allegations that have been made against the Ukrainian oligarch.

Swan reported in April 2018 that the FBI was "investigating" Kolomoisky over "potential financial crimes, including money laundering, according to the sources, who say the probe is wide-ranging and has been under way for quite some time. Kolomoisky has not been charged with any crime, and a lawyer representing him said he denies any wrongdoing."

Yezidi woman rescued by Iraqi Army near Ramadi
[Rudaw] Iraqi troops have rescued a 17-year-old Yezidi woman who was being held captive in the Anbar desert near the city of Ramadi, according to a Kurdish official.

Preparations are underway to reunite Zhiyan Shamo Khidhir with her family, Hussein Qaidi, head of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)’s Yezidi Rescue Office, told Rudaw on Tuesday.

Born in 2002 in the village of Kocho, Shingal, Khidhir was among around 7,000 Yezidi women and girls kidnapped by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. (ISIS) group in the summer of 2014.

No other details about the rescue, Khidhir’s condition, or her current location were provided.

Qaidi said his office is coordinating with the Iraqi Army to help reunite her with her family. He did not say where the family now resides.

Many of those who escaped the ISIS genocide in Shingal fled to displacement camps in the Kurdistan Region province of Duhok. Others emigrated to Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
or further afield ‐ decimating the region’s once vibrant ethnic and religious diversity.

Roughly half of the women and kiddies kidnapped by ISIS have since been brought to safety by the Yezidi Rescue Office.

What happened in Kocho and other villages like it has been highlighted by Yezidi survivor and human rights

activist Nadia Murad, who became a UN Goodwill Ambassador in 2016 and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018.

Although Shingal was retaken from ISIS in 2015, the region remains hotly disputed between rival forces. Displaced families are wary of returning amid the insecurity, the lack of infrastructure, and recent Ottoman Turkish Arclight airstrike

s targeting the alleged positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Of Iraq’s remaining 550,000 Yezidis, an estimated 360,000 of them live in camps and communities in the Kurdistan Region, according to statistics from the KRG’s Yezidi Rescue Office. Around 40,000 remained or returned to Shingal.

After Zero Refugee Arrivals in October, November Admissions Set 18-Year Low for That Month
[CNSNews] CNSNews.com) ‐ After an unprecedented month of not a single refugee admission into the United States in October, last month saw a total of 1,488 refugees arrive, according to State Department Refugee Processing Center data.

The November arrivals were the lowest for the month since 2001, when in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks on America just four refugees were resettled in the U.S.
There’s a cute little bar graph of November arrivals for the oast decade at the link.
Between then and this year, the number of admissions during the second-last month of the calendar year has ranged from a low of 1,858 refugees (also under the Trump administration, in 2017), and a high of 8,355 (under the B.O. regime, in 2016).

President Trump has signed off on a ceiling of 18,000 refugee admissions for fiscal year 2020, the lowest annual cap set by a president since the modern refugee admission program was established in 1980.

Of the 1,488 refugees to have arrived during November, the countries of origin of the largest numbers were the Democratic Republic of the Congo
...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material...
(509 refugees) and Burma (337 refugees). Other sizeable groups included 91 Afghans, 78 Ukrainians, 50 Iraqis, and 37 Syrians.

A total of 1,143 of the refugees admitted in November (77 percent) self-identified as Christians, with larger contingents including 254 Christians (no denomination specified) from Burma, 153 Pentecostalists from DRC, 102 Seventh-Day Adventists from DRC, 74 Catholics from DRC, and 62 Baptists from Moldova.

Two hundred and ninety-nine of the November arrivals (20 percent) were Moslems, including 55 Shi’ites from Afghanistan, and 32 Sunnis from Syria.

Other refugees included 13 Buddhists from Burma, five Yazidis from Iraq, one Hindu from Sri Lanka, and one Zoroastrian from Iran. Twenty-one refugees, mostly from Afghanistan, El Salvador and Guatemala, self-identified as having "no religion."

October was the first month since the 1980 Refugee Act was enacted that not a single refugee was resettled in the United States.

The first refugees to be admitted in FY 2020 were recorded as having been resettled in the U.S. on November 5. One hundred and ninety-nine refugees arrived that day, among them 63 Christians from DRC, 38 Christians from Ukraine, 25 Syrian Sunnis, and 16 Afghan Sunnis.

One hundred and ninety refugees arrived on November 6, including 82 Christians from DRC, and 13 Iraqis ‐ seven Moslems, three Christians and three Yazidis.

Sixteen Somali Moslems were among the 174 refugees who were admitted on November 7.

Diyala villagers flee spike in attacks by resurging Islamic State
[Rudaw] This is the village of Bawaplawiya in Khanaqin, Diyala province - an area disputed by the governments of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

It was once home to 70 families. But residents say threats from Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
have grown since Kurdish Peshmerga forces were forced out of the area by federal forces in 2017.

Fifty families have since fled.

"Go and film the locked doors. Check and see how many houses are locked out of 70. People are miserable here," villager Mohammed Jabar said.

The same fate has befallen other villages in the area, where six predominantly Kurdish villages have been abandoned in fear of ISIS.

In the past two days alone, ISIS has carried out three separate attacks in Diyala province, killing an Iraqi army soldier, five Hashd al-Shaabi militiamen, and wounding 15 others.

The burst of attacks has put Peshmerga forces in the area on high alert. They say the area is a security vacuum left vulnerable to attack.

"ISIS [Islamic State] has grown from a group to a force," Diler Shkur, a Peshmerga infantry commander said. "They have reorganized themselves thanks to the Iraqi government, because they neither allow us to carry out operations in this huge security zone to protect at least the Kurdish inhabited areas, nor are they capable of protecting them. Across frontlines and observation posts where the Peshmerga are present, we have fortified our bases and made preparations [against ISIS]."

According to intelligence obtained by the Peshmerga, ISIS has deployed 30 well-trained jihadists commanded by a foreign emir to the Khanaqin, Jalawla and Qaratapa regions. Iraqi intelligence estimates 1,500 ISIS Lions of Islam have recently been deployed across the Diyala, Saladin and Kirkuk provinces.

Afghanistan
Air Pollution-Related Diseases Up by 5 Percent: Health Ministry
A sign of an improving economy, one hopes.
[ToloNews] By international standards, air quality in Kabul has recently been rated "hazardous."
How does this compare to the worst cities in China, Istanbul during the winter, and Los Angeles before we started cleaning up our air in the 1970s?
The Afghan Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday said that air pollution-related diseases have increased by 5 percent this year, and it called on relevant organizations to take the necessary measures before pollution impacts more lives.

"The statistics which we have from the hospitals indicate that it has increased by 5 percent compared to the past year," said Nizamuddin Jalil, a front man for the Ministry of Public Health.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Senate, the partisans of Honorius went for their knives and the partisans of Stilicho went for the doors...
a number of residents in Kabul have said that the National Environment Protection Agency (NEPA) has failed to take solid steps towards reducing air pollution in the country.

"They are burning rubber, it creates smoke and this also impacts the agriculture in our area," said Abdul Mateen, a resident of Deh Sabz district of Kabul, referring to the kilns operating in the districts.

With the onset of winter, the vast majority of people in Afghanistan have turned to burning coal and wood to heat their homes ‐ a move that seriously impacts the quality of air.

Assessment by Air Visual, a US and Swiss-based software company measuring air pollution, indicates that the air quality in Kabul has reached a "hazardous" level, and this has put the city at the top of the world’s "most polluted cities" list.

Based on NEPA standards, air pollution shouldn’t exceed 75 micrograms in one cubic meter, but in the past few days the level of air pollution has been at least three times as much as this.

According to Air Visual, air pollution levels in some parts of the city have risen to a standard of 247 micrograms per cubic meter.

Germans Ready to Extend Their NATO Mission: Minister
[ToloNews] The visiting German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer
...Angela Merkel’s new pick for successor...
at a news conference in Kabul said she hopes the Afghan election results are announced in the near future, and she hopes results will be accepted by all stakeholders.

She also said that Berlin will help Afghanistan to achieve peace.

"We hope that the results of the free elections which have been held, are announced soon and all stakeholders accept the results so that a strong government is formed which could strengthen peace negotiations," said Karrenbauer.

She also talked about Germany’s readiness to extend the mission of almost 1,000 German troops in Afghanistan.

"We have a shared goal and it is that the people of Afghanistan should live in a secure environment and join hands and cooperate," she said.

President Ghani meanwhile welcomed Germany’s assistance to Afghanistan and said it has had a constructive role in the Afghan grinding of the peace processor.

"We discussed Afghanistan’s future from different perspectives," Ghani said. "Germany has hosted three big conferences on Afghanistan at a higher level and in all of them it has insisted on a stable, democratic and dignified Afghanistan."

Spain MPs sworn in with far-right Vox as third-largest party
The times, they are a-changin’.
[IsraelTimes] Spain’s new parliament meets for its opening session Tuesday, with the far-right Vox as the third-largest party following a divisive
...politicians call things divisive when when the other side sez something they don't like. Their own statements are never divisive, they're principled...
election that failed to resolve years of political deadlock.

Just over three weeks after the vote, politicians are on Tuesday taking the oath of office, although there is little indication of when a government would be formed.

The legislature has been gridlocked since an inconclusive April election which the Socialists won but without a majority ‐ in an outcome repeated on November 10, leaving Pedro Sanchez a winner but weakened.

And this time round, Vox ‐ which only a year ago was just a marginal player ‐ more than doubled its showing, snaring 52 mandates and becoming the third-largest faction within the 350-seat parliament.

Days after the election, Sanchez and the radical left-wing Podemos agreed in principle to form a coalition government.

But such a government would only have 155 seats, leaving it dependent on support from other factions for the 176 mandates to pass an investiture vote.

The Left's Revealing Hatred of the Salvation Army
[Daily Signal] We all know some individuals who are so obviously good and kind that we are certain if anyone were to dislike them, that’s all we would need to know about the person. We would immediately assume he or she is a bad person. To hate the manifestly good is a sure sign of being bad.

Such is the case regarding the left’s hatred of the Salvation Army. You don’t have to be a Christian‐I am not‐to appreciate the goodness of the people who run and work for the Salvation Army. They devote their lives to helping the poorest, the saddest, the loneliest, and the most troubled among us‐completely irrespective of race, gender, transgender identity, faith or no faith. And they do it for almost no money. They do it because of their Christian faith.

They provide these downtrodden people with not only food and shelter but also human warmth and love. And they offer the people they care for the one thing most likely to get them out of their predicament: meaning. They offer it; they do not coerce it. And while the vehicle for this meaning‐Christian faith‐may not be your faith or mine, so what?

It takes a truly narrow-minded bigot to want to deprive people of meaning just because that meaning is rooted in faith or in a faith other than their own.

Yet, leftists‐most especially LGBTQ groups, which spread a remarkable amount of hate in the name of "love"‐seek to crush The Salvation Army. They threaten and pressure whoever supports the Salvation Army.

"British pop singer Ellie Goulding," The Wall Street Journal recently reported, "threatened to cancel an appearance at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show, which will celebrate the army’s red-kettle campaign, unless it made a ’pledge or donation to the LGBTQ community.’ She backed down after the Salvation Army assured her it serves needy members of that community."

Most depressing of all, Chick-fil-A, a business owned by a Christian and heretofore run according to Christian principles, caved in to LGBTQ organizations’ pressure and stopped funding the Salvation Army, while it has also donated to a left-wing group that hates the good, the Southern Poverty Law Center.

I never thought I’d see the day when the Salvation Army would be hated by a substantial number of Americans or lose the support of a Christian-run business.

Immigrant doctor launches recall petition against California Gov. Newsom
[FOXNEWS] A San Diego doctor who emigrated from South America is pushing to oust Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Gov. Gavin Newsom, arguing the state's left-wing leadership has allowed cities to become "overrun by homelessness."

"I came here legally at age 11. Having grown up in extreme poverty and being homeless to now being one of San Diego's most prominent physicians, that's the American Dream, that's the California dream. And that's what Gov. Newsom and left-wingers in the legislature are progressively destroying," James Veltmeyer said on "Fox & Friends" Monday.

Homelessness is a growing problem in California. For example, the homeless population in the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
has grown to more than 17,000, a 30 percent jump from last year, according to a city database.

US Coalition denies drone strike that killed jihadist leader in northern Idlib

...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
The U.S. Coalition front man Colonel Miles Kajins told Sputnik on Tuesday: "The coalition has not conducted any recent air strikes in northwestern Syria," confirming that it was not their forces that carried out the liquidation of Abu Ahmad al-Muhajer.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Syrian media reported that a dronezap near the border crossing in Atmeh killed Abu Ahmad al-Muhajer and some of his associates.

No further details were released after the alleged the dronezap; however, some local Death Eater activists accused the U.S. Coalition of carrying out this attack.

The activists said the suspected drone struck this van as it was traveling along the Ottoman Turkish border, but did not specify who was in the vehicle until the pro-government media said it was Abu Ahmad al-Muhajer.

Devin Nunes Sues CNN: Reveals He Was Not in Vienna in Late 2018, Did Not Meet Victor Shokin
[BREITBART] House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against CNN for a fake news story the outlet printed about him before Thanksgiving, revealing in the lawsuit that he was never as CNN alleged in Vienna in late 2018 and did not meet with the ousted Ukrainian prosecutor CNN alleged he met with there.

Nunes’s lawsuit includes revelations of key facts that undermine the case CNN made against him, severely harming the news outlet’s credibility. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Virginia, shows Nunes is seeking more than $435 million in damages from CNN over the fake news it printed against him. But more importantly, it demonstrates that Nunes was 100 percent correct when he told Breitbart News before Thanksgiving that CNN’s story was untrue‐and that CNN was completely inaccurate in its reporting and had relied on a compromised source for its piece.

It remains to be seen how successful this lawsuit will be‐it is very difficult for public figures to successfully sue media outlets because of a variety of protections the media are afforded‐but the facts as laid out by Nunes and his attorney in this suit are particularly damning for CNN as Nunes and his team successfully demonstrate that the network engaged in printing and then disseminating demonstrably false information about him.

Beto O’Rourke backers cite poll showing he’d sail through Senate primary
[OUTLINE] With just a week remaining before the deadline to run for office in Texas next year, some Democrats are still hoping to see Beto O’Rourke;
...Kennedyeque businessman, musician, skateboard artiste, and politician who represented Texas' 16th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. Beto is a Latino nickname for people whose names end in "erto," like "Roberto" or "Alberto." He is seeking the Dem nomination for President in 2020 because he has nice hair and lots of teeth. He was born into a local political family in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of a prep school and Columbia University, which is not in Texas. In 2005, he was elected to the El Paso City Council. He was elected to Congress in 2012 after defeating eight-term incumbent Silvestre Reyes in the Democratic primary. He declined to seek re-election in 2018, instead running for the Senate against Republican Ted Cruz, running a campaign that drew national attention because of his skateboarding skills. A few months after he lost, he announced his campaign for President...
jump into the race to unseat Sen. John Cornyn.

Poll after poll shows Cornyn would trounce the dozen or so contenders for the Democratic nomination at this point. None can touch the near-universal name recognition O’Rourke enjoys among Texas Democrats after his near-miss against Sen. Ted Cruz last year.

And a new poll commissioned by backers worried that the current crop of candidates would fall short shows that O’Rourke is by far the top choice of Democratic voters in Texas at 58%, with the runner-up, state Sen. Royce West of Dallas at 13%.

The poll also shows him in a near-tie, trailing Cornyn 46-42 at this point, which is far stronger than others already seeking the nomination.

O’Rourke’s campaign operation has gone dormant. He didn’t respond to messages on Monday and hasn’t said lately whether he’s interested.

"I know there are a lot of folks in Texas who want to see him do it and who have indeed been encouraging him to do it,” said freshman Rep. Veronica Escobar, the El Paso Democrat who replaced him in Congress. “If he runs, I’d support him.”

UK’s Jeremy Corbyn wished NATO never existed
Of course. NATO would constrain his government to do things he doesn’t want to do, not do things he desires, and spend money on the military. Here’s hoping Labour gets so few votes they disappear from Parliament.
[ALMASDARNEWS] Jeremy Corbyn, current leader of the UK Labour Party, claimed in a 2014 video that he wished NATO

The footage has been publicized just in time for the United Kingdom to host a major NATO summit this week, bringing together world leaders, including US President Donald Trump

The footage, reportedly from 2014, shows Corbyn, flanked by Labour candidates Catherine West and David Lammy, saying: "I am no fan of NATO, indeed I wish NATO didn’t exist. I am no fan of Western military alliances, indeed I wish they didn’t exist", The Daily Mail reported Tuesday.

Last month, Corbyn reportedly refused to call the NATO alliance a great military success during an interview. Asked if he agreed with the chief of defence staff, Nick Carter, on the latter’s description of NATO as being the "most successful military alliance in history", Corbyn replied: "I’m not sure I’d define it as that", according to the Daily Mail.

Muslim man who stabbed Jews at Amsterdam market ruled unfit to stand trial
[IsraelTimes] Psychiatric evaluation deems Taha Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani not responsible for his actions when he injured father and son in March rampage.

A Moslem man charged with trying to kill a Jewish father and son at an Amsterdam market has been found not criminally responsible for his actions and sent for psychological care.

A Dutch judge ruled that Taha Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani
...known to his fellow vendors at the market as “that damned Egyptian, Tarik the hookah man”...
suffered from delusions, heard voices and experienced psychosis at the time of the March 16 stabbing incident at the Albert Cuyp Market, the NIW Jewish paper reported Monday. The judge based the ruling on a psychiatric report.
But he's okay now, you betcha.
The ruling follows several recent cases in Western Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
involving Moslem men who assaulted Jews and were deemed unfit to stand trial.

Abdel Ghani was charged with manslaughter in the stabbings of Martin Colmans and his son Sharon, who were lightly and moderately injured, respectively. The Colmans and Abdel Ghani owned neighboring stores in the market.

According to the victims, Abdel Ghani assaulted them following weeks in which he would read the Koran at the entrance to his store and leer at them.

During the first hearing in the case, in September, they asked the judge to consider a religious or racist motive, which was not included in the indictment.

NIW editor-in-chief Esther Voet wrote on Twitter that the ruling made her "furious."

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Now Epstein's Banker hangs?
And now that he has, perhaps, rendered his own sentence, all his stuff can be gone through by investigators with much less fussing.
[True Pundit] Jeffrey Epstein’s private wealth banker, who brokered and signed off on untold multiple millions of dollars in controversial Deutsche Bank and Citibank loans spanning two decades for the convicted pedophile, has died from a reported suicide.

The news of yet another mysterious Epstein-linked death comes shortly after the FBI was seeking to interview the bank executive about loans he approved for Epstein and the indicted child trafficker’s labyrinth of US-based and offshore companies.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Thomas Bowers died by an apparent suicide by hanging at his home before Thanksgiving.

Epstein likewise died from a reported suicide by hanging, according to the New York City Medical Examiner.

Bowers headed the private wealth banking division for Deutsche Bank and signed off on millions in loans to Epstein. Bowers, prior to taking over the private banking arm at Deutsche Bank, served in the same top position at Citibank, as the head of the bank’s private wealth arm. Citigroup also made massive loans to Epstein, according to records and banking sources who spoke to True Pundit.

True Pundit founder Mike “Thomas Paine” Moore previously headed anti-money laundering for a major Citigroup division during the time frame Citi commenced large loans to Epstein.

“The loans to Epstein were personal and commercial,” Paine confirmed. “The Citi loans I can confirm were for more than $25 million. Some were secured, some were not.”

Did Citi bend its lending rules for Epstein? Paine said that appears “quite likely,” with Bowers and other Citi executives he later recruited to work for him at Deutsche all working to secure the approvals regardless of compliance-related red flags.

And sources said Citi loaned Epstein much more money, eclipsing $100 million and also allowed Epstein to use the bank to send thousands of wire transfers from his accounts. Bowers, who turned up dead just days ago, brokered the loans for Epstein, sources said.

#4  The plot sickens. A few likely inferences:

1) not just this individual but many other Citi and Deutsche execs were in on the scams pulled by Epstein;

2) aforementioned execs almost certainly broke laws, at a minimum involving money laundering;

3) aforementioned firms very likely facilitated Epstein's "donations" to the Clinton Global Grift Initiative.

This opens up a new line inquiry / attack on Epstein, Clinton et al.: financial crimes.

Police suspect criminal gang behind Dua Mangi's abduction
[DAWN] Police on Tuesday said they suspect a criminal gang is behind the kidnapping of Dua Mangi, a girl who was kidnapped from Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
's DHA neighbourhood late Saturday night and is still missing.

A senior police official, who wished not to be named, told Dawn that a preliminary probe had revealed that a criminal gang had intercepted the 20-year-old girl and her friend as they were walking on the road. They shot at the boy and injured him and kidnapping Dua for ransom. He said that her family, however, had so far not received any ransom call.

Police also said they made progress in the case today, citing the recovery of the car used by the abductors. The car was found abandoned in Gulshan, within the limits of Sharea Faisal.

The official, who is familiar with the case, said that the car had been snatched from Ferozabad on November 27.

The officer said the family had initially suspected involvement of a student in the case as reportedly some quarrel had taken place between the girl and the student but "no concrete evidence had emerged". The officer clarified that no one has so far been arrested in the case.

DIG South Sharjeel Kharal said different investigation teams were working on the case and that police were in touch with the family and making concerted efforts "to recover the girl safely".

Expert warns of 'pig bomb' after woman is mauled to death by hogs
[OUTLINE] A research scientist believes the US is in the middle of a 'Pig Bomb' - where feral hogs are increasing in huge numbers.

Dr. Jack Mayer, a zoologist whose been researching wild pigs for 40 years, has warned that the population could keep growing unless there is a swine flu epidemic.

His comments come just a week after a caregiver was mauled to death by wild hogs in Texas.

Christine Rollins, 59, was attacked and killed outside the home of the elderly couple she was looking after in what the local sheriff described as 'one of the worst things he has seen'.

It's unclear what provoked the attack by multiple animals, by Mayer claims that deadly wild hog attacks are more common than shark confrontations.

They are responsible for six a year on average, 'but you never read about them' he said.

'It's a crazy situation with everything that's happened in what I call the Pig Bomb, which has went kaboom! in North America,' Jack Mayer told The Daily Beast about the wild population of six million and two million in Texas alone.

Caregiver Christine Rollins, 59, was attacked and killed by feral hogs last month. Now a research scientist has claimed a 'Pig Bomb' has blown up in the US

The attack took place outside a home in Texas where two million of the six million wild hog population lives.

'There's not another animal that can put little feet on the ground quicker than a wild pig.'

Throughout the 20th Century there were about two million wild pigs across 20 states but the tripled figure accounts for 48 states.

Mayer blamed global warming for increasing the survival rate of newborn piglets and producing more acorns, bulbs, roots and tubers for them to eat.

They can start reproducing at three months old and do so twice a year.

Various sized bites on Rollins suggested she was killed by a sow and her young. They can birth as many as 20 little ones which can weigh up to 50 pounds.

IHC admits bail petitions of Zardari, Faryal for hearing
[DAWN] The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday admitted for hearing an application submitted by former president Asif Ali Ten Percent Zardari
...husband of the late Benazir Bhutto, who has been singularly lacking in curiosity about who done her in...
, seeking bail on medical grounds in two cases filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The petition will be heard by an IHC special bench tomorrow.

Zardari is under detention on charges of money laundering and presently undergoing treatment at the Pakistain Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad. He was arrested by NAB after the cancellation of his pre-arrest bail by the IHC in the fake bank accounts case on June 10.

In his petition, filed earlier today, he maintained that he is suffering from a heart condition and has had three stents placed in his body. He said that he also suffers from diabetes which means that he has to constantly monitor his blood sugar levels.

The PPP co-chairperson's medical reports were also submitted along with the application to the IHC so that bail may be granted.

The high court also admitted for hearing a bail petition filed by Zardari's sister Faryal Talpur. In her appeal, Talpur maintained that she is the mother of a differently-abled child. In order to care for her child, she asked the court to grant bail until the completion of the trail. Her petition will also be heard tomorrow.

Greta Thunberg Warns that People Underestimate ‘the Force of Angry Kids’
[BREITBART] Teenage climate scold Greta "Pippi" Thunberg
...an autistic sixteen year old Swedish expert on climate change...
issued another warning Tuesday to adults who allow global warming to continue, suggesting they fail to grasp the power of the young.

"People are underestimating the force of angry kids," the 16-year-old Swedish activist told crowds in Lisbon, Portugal. "They’re angry and frustrated."

Ms. Thunberg arrived into a Lisbon port around lunchtime and was greeted by city mayor Fernando Medina and a crowd of well-wishers after spending more than two weeks crossing the Atlantic in a 45-foot catamaran to avoid burning fossil fuels.

Together with British navigator Nikki Henderson and an Australian family, Thunberg set sail back to Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
from New York on La Vagabonde catamaran on November 13.

Thunberg said she will spend a few days in Lisbon before heading for Madrid, where the United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
COP25 climate summit is already underway.

World's leading financial institutions have given pauper state Pakistan their vote of confidence: Hafeez Sheikh
[DAWN] Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh on Tuesday said that the world's leading financial institutions had given Pakistain their vote of confidence and acknowledged the improvement over the past five months in its economic indicators.

"The World Bank president came and appreciated Pakistain's performance and instructed that better ties with Pakistain be formed.

"The Asian Development Bank, the foremost entity with whom we are linked to economically right now, also recognised the improvement in the performance of Pakistain's economy and declared a $3 billion increase in its programme," said Sheikh as he held a presser in Islamabad alongside Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Shabbar Zaidi, and special finance secretary Umar Hameed.

"Similarly, IMF (International Monetary Fund), viewed as the world's largest financial lender and whose fundamental task is to form an opinion regarding the various economies across the world, after viewing our economic performance, declared that all of Pakistain's agreements made with the IMF had been befittingly achieved," he continued.

Mob besieges Dawn offices in Islamabad
[DAWN] A few dozen unidentified people on Monday staged a protest outside Dawn offices over publication of a news report regarding the ethnicity of the London Bridge attacker who stabbed two persons to death last week.

The charged mob, carrying banners and chanting slogans against the newspaper, remained outside the office building for nearly three hours, besieging the premises and making the staffers hostage.

They prevented the employees from entering or leaving the building and demanded a written apology. Some of the protesters also misbehaved with the newspaper as well as Dawn TV employees when they arrived at the office.

Security guards at the media house had to lock the gates to prevent the protesters from entering the premises before police and officers of the capital administration arrived.

After lengthy negotiations with the newspaper management in the presence of an assistant commissioner, the protesters finally agreed to disperse after hurling warnings.

Meanwhile, the incident was widely condemned by leaders of various political parties, parliamentarians and journalist bodies.

Chairman of the Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights Mustafa Nawaz Kokhar has also taken notice of the besieging of Dawn offices by the unidentified persons and directed the inspector general of police Islamabad to submit a report on the issue to the committee by December 6. He had also sought details of the action taken by the police against those who had besieged the media house.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in a statement condemned the incident, saying that “no one should be allowed to attack media outlets in the name of protest”.

Mr Bhutto-Zardari demanded “action against the crowd which attacked the newspaper office and vowed to side with the journalist fraternity”.

PML-N Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb called for a high-level investigation into the incident to identify and punish the perpetrators.

In a statement, Ms Aurangzeb said it was imperative to set a precedent by awarding strict punishment to those who attacked the newspaper office so that it should act as a deterrent in future.

Home Front: Politix
Our father helped found the future Navy SEALs. His vision didn't include Edward Gallagher.
[USA Today] Edward Gallagher has brought shame to a community our father helped found. Now he is being emboldened to tear down our nation’s premier fighting force by a president who does not understand the consequences of his actions.

Our father, Rear Adm. Draper Kauffman, was the founder of the training school for the Navy underwater demolition teams (UDTs) that became the Navy SEALs. His heroic bomb-disposal actions at Pearl Harbor led to the creation of ‐ and be among the first to survive ‐ "Hell Week," the grueling five-day test of SEAL candidates that continues to challenge the strongest men our country has to offer and is still described as among the most difficult military training in the world.

We can say unequivocally: Dad would have been horrified by the actions of Gallagher and would never have allowed him to remain a part of the Navy SEALs.

GALLAGHER'S SHAMEFUL CASE
Gallagher was accused of heinous war crimes by his peers after a 2017 deployment to Mosul, Iraq. Soon after these allegations came to light, Gallagher allegedly began to sow discord among his team of brothers, attacking their sense of loyalty while remaining blind to his own misdeeds.

His subsequent trial, after which he was acquitted of all but one charge, again left the SEAL community deeply divided, but at least the ordeal was seemingly behind them.

Until last month, when President Donald Trump reversed Gallagher's demotion and ordered that he remain a SEAL, preventing the commander of Naval Special Warfare, Rear Adm. Collin Green, from even starting the formal process of expelling Gallagher from the SEALs: an action that drove an even larger wedge into this politically exhausted group of warriors.

Learn from Gallagher, don't punish him: Navy SEALs have a problem, but it's not my client Edward Gallagher

Dad believed deeply in the chain of command and in honorable service to one’s nation without reward or recognition. We have no doubt that he would have acknowledged Trump’s authority to maintain Gallagher as a SEAL. We also have no doubt that he would have resigned in protest of this debasement of the high standards that elite teams like the UDTs and SEALs must uphold.

I think the man would have resigned long before, when the USA didn't bomb Pakistan for harboring Bin Laden. But how germane is that to our current realities. There's a battle of civilizations on. We can't nitpick and destroy our buddies over trifles like this, the bloody enemy plays football with heads for fuck's sake !

#7  Our father, Rear Adm.

This is a kennel's worth of dog shit. I'm not saying SEALs are not bad ass, but this is like a vegan explaining why vegans are vegans.

Please correct me if I am wrong; Kauffman cut his teeth during the London Blitz. UDT cut their teeth during the Guam campaign. The SEAL as we know it is post Vietnam.

Biden campaign stop turns into embarrassing Sleepy Joe ad when tiny crowd won’t get excited
[BIZPACREVIEW] A Biden campaign staffer had the formidable challenge of trying to ignite some level of crowd fervor at one of Sleepy Joe’s campaign rallies in Iowa on Monday. Suffice it to say, generous cups of strong coffee with Red Bull chasers might have been a better tactic.

Democrat candidate Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...The former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body...
is in the midst of an 8-day, 18-county tour in the Corn State as he attempts to revive his flagging presidential campaign there ahead of the state’s all-important February 3 caucuses. Iowa is the first official measure by voters of the Democrat candidates.

"Come on, you can do better than that!" the staffer pleaded before Biden’s appearance.

"Fire it up!" he repeatedly shouted. "Ready to go," the seated gathering insisted.

In other "No Malarkey" tour stops, crowd turnout was similar.

At the risk of stating the all-too-obvious, President Trump’s campaign rallies are drawing overflow crowds of 40,000 roaring supporters ... a pretty clear indicator of why the delusional Dems are all-in on their impeachment coup attempt.

Adam Schiff Releases Democrats’ Intelligence Committee Impeachment Report
[BREITBART] House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) released the Democrats’ report Tuesday on the impeachment inquiry, concluding that President Donald Trump “solicit[ed] foreign interference on his behalf in the 2020 election.”

The report presents itself as the core fact-finding effort, though that function has traditionally been handled by the House Judiciary Committee, which will begin its own hearings on Wednesday.

#2  Ref #1: The most stunning aspect of the report, to me anyway, was the inclusion of telephone records of House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, Nunes’ aide David Harvey, President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and investigative reporter John Solomon. Schiff refused to say how he was able to obtain these records.

Giuliani and Solomon will find out, no worries on that one.

"It is believed that the younger McCracken was en route to the Jackson County Jail to post bail on his older brother in a stolen vehicle," Sheriff Tim Morse said in the release.

Keith’s arrest led to a family reunion ‐ with both brothers ending up in Jackson County Jail awaiting bond, the release said.

Eric McCracken was booked for driving with a suspended license and possession of stolen property. His brother was held for fleeing and eluding a law-enforcement officer, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and possession of stolen property, the statement said.

Hezbollah ‘sleeper’ agent gets 40 years for spying for terror networks
A fair sentence for a man who married just for citizenship so he could reconnoiter and prep terror attacks on the orders of Hizb’allah and Iran.
[NYPOST] A Hezbollah "sleeper" agent blasted the US government as ethically bankrupt Tuesday ‐ before he was sentenced to 40 years behind bars for his role in the terrorist organization.

Ali Kourani told a Manhattan federal courtroom that prosecutors "violated all ethics" after he appeared on their doorstep volunteering information about Hezbollah ‐ and was then charged for providing material support as a member of the Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
Organization.

"I wonder what will be next?" the former Bronx resident hypothetically asked judge Alvin Hellerstein. "Dismembering dissidents in embassies? Turning sanctuary cities into black sites?"

Kourani’s conviction and sentence as a member of IJO is the first of its kind in the country, with a jury finding him guilty of spying on Hezbollah’s behalf between 2002 and 2015.

The 35-year-old, who referred to himself as "the child of a war," was born in Leb but immigrated legally to the US in 2003 before settling in New York City where he surveilled Big Apple airports, federal buildings and military facilities ‐ and sent reports back to higher-ups. Prosecutors claim he fraudulently obtained citizenship in order to participate in IJO attack-planning missions.

During his Tuesday statement, the former counterfeit Ugg salesman failed to express any remorse for his actions or affiliation with Hezbollah ‐ which is considered a terrorism organization by the United States ‐ and instead called it a "political party" as he continued to rail against "government overreach" and America’s "double standards."

Hellerstein eventually intervened, interrupting Kourani’s monologue about his broken family to remind him he’d been convicted by a jury.

"It was not the government, the prosecutors, the CIA... who found you guilty," the judge barked. "You can’t blame the government because you’re estranged from your wife and she divorced you and took the kids to Canada."

Hundreds of Syrian refugees in Lebanon return home
[IsraelTimes] Hundreds of Syrian refugees are headed home in the first batch to leave Lebanon since protests broke out in the small Arab country more than a month ago.

Since the early hours of Tuesday, scores of Syrians boarded buses in several locations in Lebanon before heading back to their hometowns in war-torn Syria.

Vanessa Moya of the UN refugee agency known as UNHCR, says some 225 Syrian refugees are scheduled to head back to Syria, raising the number to about 27,000 refugees who have returned to Syria over the past two years.

Thousands of Syrians have returned home from Lebanon since June 2018 as calm returns to parts of Syria.

Lebanon is hosting some 1 million Syrian refugees who fled their country after the war broke out eight years ago.

Iran arrests group ‘planning unrest’ at Tehran universities: Intelligence ministry
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Leaders of a group "planning unrest" at universities in Tehran this weekend have been arrested, Iranian authorities said on Tuesday, adding that many of the 2,021 people detained in the area around the capital in unrest last month were released.

The intelligence ministry said the leading members of a group planning disturbances at universities in Tehran and in other parts of Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on the country’s annual students’ day on December 7 had been arrested, according to the official IRIB news agency.

During the recent protests, the group had planned to draw students off the campus of Tehran University "to create unrest," a ministry statement said. It gave no further details.

Tehran province governor Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpay meanwhile said many of the 2,021 people arrested in Tehran province in unrest kicked off by a hike in fuel prices had been released, according to the semi-official Mehr news agency.

"In the recent unrest 2021 people were arrested, many of whom were arrested for the first time based on (their) ignorance and in an emotional atmosphere and were immediately released," Bandpay said.

In what may have been the biggest anti-government protests in the 40-year history of the Islamic Theocratic Republic, demonstrations began on Nov. 15 after the government announced gasoline price hikes.

But the protests quickly turned political, with demonstrators demanding the removal of the top leaders of the country, one of OPEC’s biggest oil producers.

Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said last week that up to 200,000 people took part nationwide in the unrest.

13 Pakistanis killed in Jordan farming village fire
Answering a question it never occurred to me to ask:
[IsraelTimes] A fire killed 13 people, including several children, in a farming community along the border with Israel and Syria, Jordanian officials said Monday.

The Jordanian civil defense said in a statement that the fire broke out early Monday in a shack where two Pak families live in the village of al-Shuna al-Janobia.

It said the dead included eight children, four women and a man ‐ all said to be Pak nationals.

Three others were maimed.

The civil defense said an electrical fault caused the fire and an investigation has been launched.

The village sits along the Jordan Valley, south of the confluence of the Yarmouk and Jordan rivers.

The agricultural sector in Jordan employs several thousand Paks, many of whom live in dire conditions.

Japan gov't agrees to buy island for U.S. military drills for 16 bil. yen
[Kyodo News] Tokyo - The government said Monday it has agreed to buy an uninhabited island in Japan's southwest with an eye to using it as a U.S. military takeoff and landing training site.

The 16 billion yen ($146 million) acquisition of the 8-square-kilometer Mage Island in Kagoshima Prefecture will pave the way for the relocation of the practice site for U.S. carrier-borne fighters from Iwoto Island in the Pacific, some 1,200 km south of Tokyo.

"It's important to secure the site for field carrier landing practice from the viewpoint of security so we will continue to try to build a permanent facility at an early date," Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said at a press conference. The agreement was reached Friday.

The U.S. military used to conduct takeoff and landing practice at its Atsugi base near Tokyo but the training site was moved to Iwoto Island in the 1990s on a temporary basis due to complaints about noise.

The fighters were all transferred from Atsugi to another U.S. military base in Iwakuni, western Japan, last year, making the flight to the island even longer. As a result the United States asked Japan to prepare a more convenient and permanent location for the drill.

Mage Island is located about 400 km from Iwakuni while Iwoto is 1,400 km away.

Turkish Army sets up 2 new military bases in northeast Syria
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish Army has set up two new military headquarters in the surrounding areas of Ras al-Ayn in northeastern Syria, the Arabic-language media outlets reported.

The Arabic-language al-Ikhbariya TV reported that the Ottoman Turkish Army has built two more military centers in the villages of al-Toulan and al-Kanhir in the countryside of Ras al-Ayn in the al-Hasakah Governorate.

Ras al-Ayn is located in northwestern al-Hasakah and 85 kilometers from the city of Hasakah.

In a relevant development in late October, festivities erupted between the Syrian Army units deployed in the Ras al-Ayn countryside and Ottoman Turkish-backed bully boys, which attacked the area during army’s deployment.

The festivities erupted as the Syrian Army units advanced from the direction of Tal Tamr in the northern countryside of Hasakah towards the Ottoman Turkish border, and deployed in the villages of Um Harmlah, Bab al-Kheir, Um Eshbeh, al-Asdiayah in the southeastern countryside of Ras al-Ayn, reducing the distance to the Ottoman Turkish border to few kilometers.

Following 3-week hiatus, Gaza groups announce resumption of border marches
[IsraelTimes] The High Commission for the Marches of Return names this week’s protest ‘The March is Ongoing’; expert predicts Hamas will keep protesters from approaching the fence

The committee responsible for organizing protests in the border region between Israel and the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Trump administration quietly releases Lebanon military aid
[IsraelTimes] The Trump administration has quietly released more than $100 million in military assistance to Leb after months of unexplained delay.

That’s according to two congressional staffers and an administration official who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly to the matter. The $105 million in Foreign Military Financing funds for the Lebanese Armed Forces was released last week. Lawmakers were notified of the step on Monday

The money had languished in limbo at the Office of Management and Budget since September although it had already won congressional approval and overwhelming support from the Pentagon, State Department and National Security Council. The White House has yet to offer any explanation for the delay despite repeated queries from Congress and the media.

Sweden: Man Drives Car Into Gym, Wrote Letter Mentioning Osama Bin Laden
Sudden Jihad Syndrome.
[SummitNews] A 29-year-old man drove a car into a gym in Stockholm during a handball match, with authorities treating the incident as a possible terror attack after they discovered a letter written by the suspect which mentioned the late Osama bin Laden
...... who is now beyond all cares and woe......
The alleged attack occurred on Saturday night during handball match between two teams of 14-year-olds in the Youth Championship.

A video clip shows the handball players running away in fear after a loud bang is heard and the car crashes into the arena.
Video clip in a tweet can be seen at the link.
The man was initially arrested on charges of drunk driving and gross negligence and released, but the investigation took a new turn when authorities discovered a letter he had written which mentioned 9/11 criminal mastermind Bin Laden and stated "people should die."

Special Sherlocks were called in and the incident is now being treated as a possible terror attack.

"The vehicle used by the man in the act must also have been rigged," reports Aftonbladet. "A car battery with cables must have been on the accelerator."

It subsequently emerged that the man was previously convicted for attempted murder but was released from prison after serving just 5 years.
