29-year-old Ricci Tres won the women’s competition, worth $500. 13-year-old Shiloh Catori was the top-performing female in the women’s event, yet placed second and was awarded only $250.

Beijing Doubles Down on Zero COVID...and Lockdowns-Peter Zeihan
[US11] Beijing announced yesterday that it was extending its Zero COVID policy until 2027. This is a direct result of the Chinese government's failure to develop an effective domestic vaccine, and its steadfast refusal to rely on the safe, effective mRNA vaccines already in use in much of the world. Given the lack of functional vaccine policy, the age of the Chinese population and the timeline for Beijing to develop anything approaching a useful mRNA vaccine domestically, this timeline makes sense. But it lays bare the absolute desperation of the Chinese Communist Party.

As absolutely detrimental these policies will be for the average Chinese citizen--and if past is prologue, there will be terrible costs to pay economically, socially, and individually--they also underscore the precarious place China plays in the global economy. Which is bad. China rose to prominence in the post-Cold War era as the country and the government most willing to leverage its low labor costs and at times near-nonexistent regulatory environment to convince the worlds' manufacturers to relocate much of their supply chains onto Chinese soil. What does the future hold? For manufacturers, at least, the constant specter of shut downs as Beijing bungles outbreak after outbreak. COVID isn't going away, and barring a massive shift in the CCP's policy's toward foreign vaccines, the Chinese factory worker, and transportation worker, and dock worker, etc remain at the mercy of a virus that shows no signs of stopping, and a government that shows no sign of stepping up.

#4  Can’t be about Covid as we know it: do they know something we don’t or is it about something else?

Fauci told them he'd come up with a way the virus would have a way larger R value for Americans than for Chinese because of differences in the receptors for Angiotensin the virus attacks and they'd be able to achieve a lopsided casualty ratio and use that to propagandize their tyrrany with and the virus would never mutate.

Then sometime in the last two years of televised press conferences they realized the son of a bitch lies with no affect other than the smirk on his face that was there when he told them that.

Blue-city prosecutors in red states vow not to press charges over abortions
[Politico] Dozens of elected prosecutors across the country — including a number representing blue cities nestled inside red states — are pledging to not press charges against patients or providers over abortion in the wake of Friday’s Supreme Court ruling giving states full control over abortion policy.

So far, 84 district attorneys and other prosecutors from 29 states and territories and Washington, D.C., have signed the statement distributed by Fair and Just Prosecution. Altogether, the officials represent jurisdictions covering 87 million Americans, according to the organization.

Significantly, the signatories include district attorneys in states like Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas — all Republican-controlled states with abortion "trigger bans" set to activate within a month, now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Other prosecutors have also joined in via public statements online.

"Criminalizing abortion will not end abortion; it will simply end safe abortions, forcing the most vulnerable among us — as well as medical providers — to make impossible decisions," the statement read. Later, it added: "Our legislatures may decide to criminalize personal healthcare decisions, but we remain obligated to prosecute only those cases that serve the interests of justice and the people."

The statement marks a public, preemptive deployment of "prosecutorial discretion" in the battle over abortion policy. Prosecutors and law enforcement agencies have significant leeway over what cases they choose to pursue.

But it’s still unclear what practical effect the prosecutors’ stand will have in each state. Abortion providers are already suspending procedures in a number of states with bans already written into statute, like Planned Parenthood in Arkansas. Similar actions have taken place in Alabama, West Virginia and a slew of other states.

#2
Since the SCOTUS only ruled it "NOT A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT" but a State Regulated issue.
My understanding is ABORTION is NOT banned and the only change is the States can now regulate Who, What, When and Where and the acceptable Time Period.

IF SO, then it depends on IF these 84 State district attorneys and other various prosecutors are from 29 states that agreed to continue Abortion. As to, whether or not they face any criminal violation of the law.

More than likely, they're just doing the usual PR LSD Staging for agenda and votes with the MSM's careful wording for Newsbites help.

So the question boils down to:
How many of these 84 district attorneys and other prosecutors from these 29 states live in a State that will halt Abortion?

Drug traffickers arrested in California with 150,000 fentanyl pills released after just days in jail
[FoxNews] Two drug traffickers in California who were arrested last week for being in possession of 150,000 fentanyl pills — enough to kill millions of people — were released back onto the streets, officials said.

Jose Zendejas, 25, and Benito Madrigal, 19, both from Washington, were arrested during a traffic stop-turned-drug bust in Tulare on Friday. They were booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility on charges of possession, transportation and selling of illegal drugs, officials said.

In a surprising twist of events, the two inmates were released just days later.

"The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office received a court order to release both suspects from custody on their own recognizance," officials said.

"All inmates booked into Tulare County jails are sent through what is known as the Risk Assessment Process through the Tulare County Probation Department. That ‘Risk Assessment’ is then sent to a judge with the court, who, then, determines whether or not the individual arrested is held on bail or if they are to be released," The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office added.

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said he strongly disagrees with the decision to release the traffickers, citing public safety concerns, but said his office was forced to comply with the court order.

#6  Open borders and fentanyl, massive overburdening of our social support network. hospitals, criminal justice system and schools. We are being destroyed as a nation by the CCP and the corruption they own in DC. Not a shot fired but it is intentional warfare by other means. I know it, you know it and Washington knows it, but the levers of power are locked in the hands of their clients in the Deep State and the Demokrat Puppet Show. The easy fixes have long since passed, while we all stood on the walls dealing with the outside threats, secure in naive belief that home was safe, blind to the enemy within. The fix options now require a determination, vision and patient toughness I just don't see in the flotsam and jetsam walking around these days.
Posted by: NoMoreBS || 06/28/2022 12:35 Comments || Top||

#7  If the CCP would deliberately and knowingly flood our country with deadly narcotics I think we can assume they would not hesitate to release a deadly virus regardless of the effect it has on their own population. After all, they can afford to lose a million people and they have proven they have no regard for human life. We don't have the smoking gun to prove that COVID-19 was the deliberate release of a bio-weapon but fentanyl proves that Chinese communists are the kind of murderous thugs who would do such a thing.

Then we can move on to our own politicians and corporate officials who think it's OK to do business with China. The logical conclusion must be that they are no better than the CCP.

As for the 150,000 fentanyl pills, they are like so many droplets in a barrel. Addicts will still be able to score without trouble and without any price increase. This arrest is merely a show, just a little breakage if you will, to make it look like our government is doing something about this crisis other than taking payoffs from the cartels and the CCP.

Biden's nominee to be ICE director withdraws from consideration
[FoxNews] Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's nomination has stalled in the US Senate.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said he has withdrawn from consideration to be the director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, more than a year after he was nominated by President Joe Biden to the post.

Gonzalez tweeted on Monday that he "arrived at this decision after prayerfully considering what's best for our nation, my family, and the people of Harris County."

Gonzalez, the sheriff of Texas's largest county, noted that his nomination has stalled for over a year and that the U.S. Senate has not confirmed an ICE director since the Biden administration.

Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., raised concerns about Gonzalez's nomination in March over domestic abuse allegations against the sheriff and called on Democrats to delay the vote.

Gonzalez's withdrawal comes amid a surge of migrants crossing the southern border. Customs and Border Protection counted a record 239,416 migrant encounters in May, eclipsing the previous record of 235,478 encounters in April.

Biden's Title IX proposal mirrors action memo from Soros-funded group pushing gender identity into rules
[FoxNews] The Biden administration's sweeping Title IX proposal, which would bring in gender identity, mirrors an action memo from a George Soros-funded advocacy group that quietly works with the administration on policy, according to a Fox News Digital review of documents.

The Title IX proposal, unveiled last Thursday, contains rules on anti-transgender bias in schools, reversing Trump-era guidance. Governing for Impact (GFI), a secretive liberal nonprofit whose board includes a high-level Soros director, prepared a legal memo for the Education Department that is similar in structure and reasoning.

A backbone of the Biden administration's proposal includes expanding language to bring in gender identity and sexual orientation, which GFI advocated for within the memo.

GFI's legal policy memo recommended "implementing regulations to include sexual orientation, gender identity, and transgender status; and that Title IX and its implementing regulations require schools to treat students consistent with their gender identity for purposes of Title IX and not to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity."

Rachel Klarman, GFI's executive director, told Fox News Digital that they are proud of their "ongoing efforts to help ensure that the federal government works more effectively for everyday working Americans, not just for members of industry groups that have long devoted vast resources to pursuing their own policy agendas."

"We're glad the administration is revising its Title IX guidance," Klarman said. "During the transition, Governing for Impact made a number of recommendations for how this policy could be improved, which are available on our public website."

GFI, which has maintained a shadowy presence, has quietly worked with the Biden administration behind the scenes and boasted in internal memos of implementing more than 20 of its regulatory agenda items as it attempts to reverse Trump-era deregulations by zeroing in on education, health care, housing, labor and environmental issues, Fox News Digital previously reported.

GFI's website does not appear on internet search engines but is discoverable to those who know the URL. It contains dozens of legal strategy memos for shaping executive orders and regulations.

The memos; however, generally do not identify their authors. Some show partnerships with outside groups such as The National Student League Defense Network, the Center for Law, Energy and the Environment at Berkeley Law School and the Economic Policy Institute.

The group has prepared legal policy memos for at least 10 federal departments and agencies, according to an internal slide show from the group. They also produced 10 administrative law primers as of 2021. The slide also included multiple federal officials as a part of its "listening tour."

GFI, meanwhile, is not a stand-alone nonprofit. Instead, the New Venture Fund, a nonprofit incubator managed by the D.C.-based consulting firm Arabella Advisors, fiscally sponsors it. This setup allows GFI to avoid filing tax forms with the IRS.

The group's attachment to the Arabella-Advisors dark money network, which raised $1.6 billion in anonymous donations in 2020, is not discoverable from public records. The New Venture Fund does not report GFI as a trade name in its D.C. business filings.

However, GFI's links to the New Venture Fund are discoverable in George Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF) grant database. A search of the database shows that Soros nonprofits sent $12.98 million to GFI and its related action fund in 2019 and 2020.

The Foundation to Promote Open Society awarded $5.53 million to GFI. Meanwhile, the Open Society Policy Center sent $7.45 million to GFI's action fund. The Sixteen Thirty Fund, also managed by Arabella Advisors, fiscally sponsors the action fund.

GFI also sports additional links to Soros' network. Tom Perriello, the executive director of Soros' Open Society Foundations, sits on GFI's four-person board.

If you had real 'leadership' plans would already be on the table for federal funding for the next fiscal year if the Trunks take the house. Send each appropriation bill up by individual Departments and agencies, no f'ing omnibus bills. Just leave off those who decided they work for the party not the people as represented.

SCOTUS Sides With High School Football Coach Barred From Praying on Field After Games
[WLT] The U.S. Supreme Court has sided with a high school football coach in a First Amendment case about prayer at the 50-yard-line.

In a 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS says the public school district violated the coach’s free speech and free exercise rights when it barred him from praying on the field after games.

Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion and noted, "The Constitution and the best of our traditions counsel mutual respect and tolerance, not censorship and suppression, for religious and nonreligious views alike."

The majority also said it was abandoning the Lemon test and its "endorsement test offshoot" to evaluate establishment clause questions.

West Point Graduates And Officers Sign Letter Arguing That Biden Defense Department Is Violating Army Regulations
[Tennessee Star] Several retired U.S. military officers signed a letter written by "Concerned Graduates of West Point and The Long Gray Line," which objects to mandatory vaccinations, CRT instruction, progressivism and other "woke" sentiments in the military academy.

"We wanted to challenge the leadership of the Academy and the Defense Dept on their WOKE actions, CRT, Diversity training and the other discrepancies in the Academy," retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, told the Epoch Times.

"We found it pervasive at the Naval and Air Force Academies so we knew it was directed from the highest levels of our Military Leadership. We all want the Military to get back on track to training and leading our Armed Forces to secure America and it's Citizens," he said.

The letter, titled, "Declaration of Betrayal of West Point And the Long Gray Line," requests from the academy information in a number of areas including a justification for the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination of cadets and an explanation for reaching so-called "Critical Race Theory" at West Point.

In addition to other information, the letter also demands to know why some civilian faculty members have been permitted to become involved with political activism, violating the "long-standing policy of the Academy and Army Regulations."

And it questions the institution's "exclusive reliance upon radical progressive guest speakers to address the Corps of Cadets."

"This practice results in prejudiced political activism on the part of the Staff and Faculty in violation of Army Regulation," reads the letter.

The signees, who include a number of military officers, say they have witnessed and been informed of a modern rejection of the principles of the military academy that could ultimately endanger the institution's core and original mission to "educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career or professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army."

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
About Kremenchug
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets

Numerous videos show that the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug caught fire from the consequences of an explosion nearby at the plant, and was not hit by a missile attack.

The cause of the fire at the shopping center was its close location to the facility where military equipment was being repaired. The fence of the plant is generally only 20 meters from Amstor.

The structure of the shopping center is intact, the roof is in place, the walls are in place, the cars are intact nearby. In the event of a direct missile strike, nothing would have been left of the mall; in the middle of the Amstor mall, there would have been a gaping crater with a diameter of 10 meters or more. And not alone.

And there would be no pavilions at all - their design consists of light metal structures that are easily broken through and folded (remember, the Retroville Shopping Center in Kyiv, which is much larger and was used as an ammunition depot and hangars for MLRS "which was destroyed to zero ).

It’s still strange, it’s broad daylight, and there are no missiles removed. If this is a shopping center and not a stall in the market, then there are surveillance cameras inside it - not a single frame. Are there any CCTV cameras in the town? When the rockets arrive, they take recordings from the cameras, but here all the videos were filmed 10 minutes after the explosion.

Yet. I understand that war is not always a logical thing, but I don’t understand, before that, shopping centers or factories were mostly hit either at night or in the early morning? Why this was done during the day, even when the G7 are meeting and the NATO summit begins, is not clear.

Amstor" is located a few tens of meters from the workshops of the Kremenchug defense plant of road vehicles "Kredmash", which has been repairing equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014. So, in one of the videos published on the Web, it seems to people that the missile hit the plant (the phrase " Dormash, Dormash").

At the same time, according to some information, the shopping center has not been working for a long time and, apparently, was used as a warehouse of equipment or a base for the defense. The shopping center itself was not working.

External organizations that were in this building worked, they were located on the front side In confirmation of the fact that the shopping center did not work, it also says that there are no photos of visitors in social networks by geotag since March, as well as reviews on sites and maps .

According to Zelensky, at the time of the shelling, there were allegedly about a thousand civilians in the shopping center, but the parking lot in front of the center building was practically empty, and on the territory you can see many military men in "pixel" uniforms (regular T-shirts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, camouflage bags) with machine guns and for some reason many with backpacks on their backs.

In addition, there are practically no women in the footage published on social networks and Zeleboba.

The Kyiv regime is interested in "keeping the focus on Ukraine" in the run-up to the NATO summit in Madrid. And now it will inflate the story, hushing up that the blow was inflicted primarily on a military facility and partially hooked on a non-working shopping center.

They talk about 18 dead, but if there was a direct missile strike and the shopping center worked, their number would be many hundreds. What is remarkable: no one has yet shown a single wounded or dead person. I will assume that even if there are dead people, they are from the factory.

Kyiv wants to convene the UN Security Council on this issue. It is strange that the Security Council was not convened when the Kyiv regime hit "Tochka-U" on Donetsk and 20 people died. It is strange that, at the initiative of Russia, they were not allowed to hold a separate meeting on the strike of the Kiev regime "Tochka-U" on Kramatorsk with the mass death of civilians - the UK presiding at that time, contrary to all the established mandatory norms and rules of the UN Security Council, Russia TWICE refused to hold this meeting.

#4  The photos published by Daily Mail make everything this clown says a lie.

in the middle of the Amstor mall, there would have been a gaping crater with a diameter of 10 meters or more

Which there is.

It’s still strange, it’s broad daylight, and there are no missiles removed

Missiles explode.

Are there any CCTV cameras in the town? When the rockets arrive, they take recordings from the cameras, but here all the videos were filmed 10 minutes after the explosion.

There's CCTV footage of the explosion.

At the same time, according to some information, the shopping center has not been working for a long time and, apparently, was used as a warehouse of equipment or a base for the defense. The shopping center itself was not working.

There were people working and shopping at the mall. And who told him it was being used as a warehouse?

They talk about 18 dead, but if there was a direct missile strike and the shopping center worked, their number would be many hundreds. What is remarkable: no one has yet shown a single wounded or dead person.

They're still recovering bodies, there are photos of the wounded, and plenty of women are among the missing and dead.

This clown is clearly publishing what he's told to publish.

#6  Kremenchug defense plant is/was about 85 meters (~280 ft) from the Amstor center at their closest actual building points. I'm not counting the factory's outdoor storage lean-tos.

Based on Google Earth, the factory's fence line is just over 30 meters (~100 ft) from the shopping center building.

'Close' as in horseshoes and hand grenades, but not precision.

NATO to boost rapid reaction force to 300,000 troops: Stoltenberg
[Aljazeera] NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has said that the Western military alliance will increase the size of its rapid reaction forces nearly eightfold to 300,000 troops as part of its response to an "era of strategic competition".

The NATO reaction force currently numbers around 40,000 soldiers, who can deploy quickly when needed.

Coupled with other measures including the deployment of forces to defend specific allies, Stoltenberg said on Monday that the move to expand NATO forces is part of the "biggest overhaul of collective defence and deterrence since the Cold War".

He made the remarks at a news conference ahead of a NATO summit in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday, when the 30 military allies in the bloc are expected to also agree on further support to Ukraine after its invasion by Russia.

Sole surviving suspect in 2015 Paris terror onslaught says he’s ‘not a murderer’
[IsraelTimes] Salah Abdeslam apologizes to victims, says he was a last-minute add-on to the group of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
attackers

The only surviving suspected member of the Islamic State attack team that terrorized Gay Paree in 2015 pleaded for leniency during his final appearance in court on Monday, acknowledging he had "made mistakes," but declaring: "I’m not a murderer."

Salah Abdeslam,
...the connected Moroccan-French boy who ran with all the other petty criminals in the notoriously Salafist Molenbeek neighbourhood until they grew up to transfer that sense of entitlement to membership in ISIS. Mr. Abdeslam has already been sentenced in Belgium in a separate trial, which got him twenty years...
is a leading suspect in La Belle France’s worst peacetime attacks of November 13, 2015, that killed 130 people. He is on trial with 19 other men on suspicion of playing critical roles in the Islamic State’s massacres in a Gay Paree music hall, cafes and the national stadium that Friday night.

In closing arguments earlier this month, French prosecutors demanded a life sentence without a possibility of parole for Abdeslam. They charged him with multiple counts of murder, complicity to murder, belonging to a terrorist organization and taking part in a conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping as a member of a terrorist organization.

A verdict in the historic trial is expected on Wednesday.

Abdeslam apologized to the victims on Monday, saying his remorse and sorrow for the 130 people killed and more than 400 maimed is heartfelt and sincere.

"Who can make an insincere apology for so much suffering?" Abdeslam said. He acknowledged he has made mistakes, but declared: "I am not a murderer, I am not a killer.

Abdeslam stayed silent about what happened on November 13, 2015. Since his trial opened in September, he had a few outbursts of bad boy bravado, but refused to answer most questions.

In April, his words started flowing and he gave a lengthy testimony over several days that at times contradicted earlier statements, including on his loyalty to the Islamic State.

As the only member of the Gay Paree attackers who did not join the self-proclaimed IS caliphate in Syria, he told the court that he was a last-minute add-on to the group. He said he "renounced" his mission to detonate his explosives-packed vest in a bar in northern Gay Paree the night of November 13 as his brother and other Islamic State turbans fanned out around the capital mounting parallel attacks.

A police explosives expert has told the court that the suicide belt was faulty, but Abdeslam testified that he disabled it.

After leaving the café, Abdeslam described desperate attempts to reach friends to ask for help, and taking a taxi across Gay Paree to the suburb of Montrouge. He hid out at first near Gay Paree, and then fled with friends to Brussels, where he was arrested four months later.

‘Top Gun: Maverick' Soars Past $1 Billion, Overtakes ‘Doctor Strange 2' as the Highest-Grossing Movie of the Year Globally
[Variety] Paramount and Skydance’s all-American blockbuster "Top Gun: Maverick" is still flying high at the box office, crossing the coveted $1 billion milestone over the weekend.

It’s the first movie of the year and only the second in COVID times (following Sony’s "Spider-Man: No Way Home" with $1.9 billion) to reach that benchmark. It’s even more impressive that "Maverick" hit the $1 billion mark without playing in China or Russia, two major markets.

After only 31 days on the big screen, "Top Gun: Maverick" has become Tom Cruise’s first movie to surpass $1 billion at the worldwide box office. Previously, 2018’s "Mission: Impossible — Fallout" ranked as the actor’s most successful film with $791.1 million worldwide.

Cruise took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement, writing, "To all the films in release, to all the studios, and to all the exhibitors: congratulations. To the audience: thank you for venturing out and allowing us to entertain you. See you at the movies."

J&K: Two militants killed in encounter in Kulgam
[OneIndia] Two unidentified bully boyz on Monday were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
, police said.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Nowpora-Kherpora in the Trubji area of the district following information about the presence of bully boyz there, a police official said.

He said the search operation turned into an encounter in which two ultras were killed.

The identity and group affiliation of the slain bully boyz is being ascertained, the official said, adding the operation is still underway.

Rep. Donalds: Dems Will Use Federal Lands for Abortion, But Not Drilling That Would Help Lower Costs for Everyone
[Breitbart] During an interview with Newsmax TV on Monday, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) reacted to Democratic proposals for the Biden administration to use federal lands to conduct abortion by pointing out that many Democrats have tried to block oil drilling on federal lands, something that would "help every mom in America. It’ll help every dad in America. They won’t do that, but they’ll open it up for abortion."
Coming soon.....'Open to the public.'
Donalds stated, "[T]hese ridiculous policies like using federal lands to conduct abortions on, that’s insane stuff. They won’t give federal lands for drilling for oil, you know, the thing that will help every mom in America. It’ll help every dad in America. They won’t do that, but they’ll open it up for abortion. This is crazy policy from a party that has completely lost their mind and has followed the radical left down a rabbit hole. No, I don’t think it’s going to work for suburban moms. Because suburban moms are concerned about how much it’s going to cost them to fill up their tank, they’re concerned about how much it costs to put food on the table, and they’re concerned, is their child actually getting an education or are they getting an indoctrination? And that’s where the radical left is taking us and they don’t like it, just like no other voter in America likes it."

"We have more than 40,000 troops under direct NATO command, most of them in the eastern part of the alliance and many of them in the Baltic region," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Monday. "The purpose of this increased presence is to send a message that we are ready to protect and defend every inch of allied territory, including of course Lithuania and the other Baltic countries."

Stoltenberg issued that reminder amid an unfolding controversy over Lithuania’s announcement that Russia would not be permitted to ship certain commodities, such as cement, across Lithuania rail lines to Kaliningrad. That restriction, imposed under the auspices of European Union sanctions, was met by a flurry of cyberattacks and Russian state media broadcasts that Russian President Vladimir Putin could initiate a war of conquest against Lithuania.

"We understand perfectly well that when the [Russia] armed forces achieve the goals set by the president and reach the western border of Ukraine, the rest will certainly not be about Ukraine," Russian lawmaker Andrey Gurulyov said this weekend in a state media broadcast translated by the Russian Media Monitor’s Julia Davis. "Yes, the taming of Lithuania is being considered."

Gurulyov, a former senior Russian general, insisted that the combination of Russian energy resources and military capabilities would allow Moscow to win a war against NATO — and claimed that he had studied target lists during his military career.

Almost All 5,000 Gang Members In Sweden Are Either 1st- Or 2nd-Generation Migrants
[ZERO] The urban crime gangs dominating Swedish cities are almost exclusively made up of immigrants, according to Amir Rostami, a leading criminologist and professor who based his findings on police data.

In Sweden, the number of gang-related crimes is increasing every year, and as a result of mass and uncontrolled immigration, the authorities are losing control over more and more areas where migrant gangs are taking power.

"It is not enough for many immigrants to come to Sweden from a less developed country and enjoy the benefits. They want excitement and want to get rich quickly," says criminologist Rostami.

Rostami has divided these gang members into two categories. Disorganized criminals are mostly made up of slightly younger members between 20 and 25 years old who have poorer impulse control, less education, and are primarily dealing with weapons and drugs. Then, there are the slightly more mature, rational, and better educated members who are involved in more extensive criminal networks; some of these members are even accountants, people with degrees, and former military personnel. This group is responsible for a huge share of crimes in Sweden, suspected of committing 40,000 criminal acts every year. These criminal networks not only compete with each other, but also work together.

Rostami sees himself as an example of someone who chose another life. He was born in Iran, came to Sweden with his family as an immigrant, and grew up in the Frölunda district of Gothenburg, which is now considered to be a "sensitive area" where large immigrant populations live. He said his upbringing was fraught with the risk factors of becoming a criminal, but instead of taking the path of crime, he chose to study, according to the Hungarian news outlet Magyar Nemzet.

Afghanistan
MoD Says Clashes in Balkhab Have Ended
[ToloNews] Following reports of festivities between the Islamic Emirate forces and Commander Mawlawi Mahdi in Balkhab district of Sar-e-Pul
...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone...
, the MoD stated that the dispute has ended.

Meanwhile,
...back at the wrecked scow, Agent 49 felt gingerly for his head. It was still there. He had been hoping differently...
in a meeting with Shia holy mans and elders of Balkhab, 2nd Deputy PM Abdul Salam Hanafi stressed the importance of preventing civilian casualties in Balkhab.

Amnesia Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the UN special rapporteur for Afghanistan human rights
...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state...
reacted to the festivities in Balkhab and called for the prevention of civilian casualties.

In the meantime, an online campaign was launched by social media users calling for international organizations to support citizens in Balkhab.

The videos being circulated on social media show a Islamic Emirate’s forces’ military convoy heading towards Balkhab.

"It is better for them to enforce a law which is acceptable for the international community," said Asadullah Nadim, a political analyst.

"It is better that the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
turn their hands away from violence and accept that others are also Afghans and have the right to live and work," Nadim said.

The Ministry of Defense said that the Islamic Emirate has not suffered any casualties in the festivities in Balkhab.

"The policy of the Islamic Emirate is to not take any stand against the citizens. (The Islamic Emirate) wants all Afghans to live together and to not allow anyone to create sedition in the nation," Hanafi was quoted on Twitter of the ARG.

Meanwhile,
...back at the wrecked scow, Agent 49 felt gingerly for his head. It was still there. He had been hoping differently...
residents of provinces in neighboring Sar-e-Pul expressed concerns over the possible surge of insecurity in their provinces.

"We hope to find a solution and that the violence will not be extended and the voice of everyone will be heard," said Raziq, a resident of Bamiyan
...a place in Afghanistan that used to have some historically interesting statues of the Buddha carved into a mountainside. Then the holy men showed up and now all they have is some big holes...
"A surge in violence and insecurity has caused further damages to the residents of central areas and we hope this issue will be considered," said Massoud Ekhtiarai, a resident of Daikundi.

The festivities in Balkhab faced reactions from international human rights organizations.

"Amnesia Amnesty International is gravely concerned by reports of summary executions and harm to civilians in Balkhab district of Sari-Pul province," Amnesia Amnesty International said on Twitter. "The parties to the conflict are obliged to fully observe laws of war in all hostilities and avoid harming civilians and civilian objects."

Economy
Michael Burry Agrees: A 'Tidal Wave' Of Discounts And Crashing Prices
[ZERO] In the past month we showed readers on at least two occasions...

  • Bullwhip Effect Ends With A Bang: Why Prices Are About To Fall Off A Cliff

  • Deflationary Tsunami On Deck: A "Tidal Wave" Of Discounts And Crashing Prices

... what happens when the infamous "bullwhip" effect strikes and what was formerly a scarcity of inventory becomes a glut, with inventory to sales ratios exploding higher (and in some cases reaching two-decade highs)...

... assuring inventory liquidations across the retail sector, resulting in a "deflationary tsunami" and "prices falling off a cliff", forcing the Fed to eventually pivot on its hiking plans and even restart easing.

Of course, not everything is set for a deflationary crash: don't expect luxury items to see price cuts, and if anything, luxury prices for things like handbags and shoes are poised to keep climbing.

But while inflation is likely to persist in the ultra high, the implication for broader inflation is clear: as we said two weeks ago, "most prices that make up the core CPI basket are about to fall off a cliff in weeks if not days, with upcoming core CPI prints set to plunge, which means that the only thing that will remain red hot is headline inflation, i.e., food and energy prices, the same prices which the Fed has traditionally ignored. It remains to be seen if it will do so this time around, or if - realizing that the US is entering a recession - it will resume easing even in the face of $5 gas prices..."

Today, none other than the "Big Short" Michael Burry, founder of Scion Asset Management, picked up on this and tweeted that the "Bullwhip Effect" happening in the retail sector will lead to the Federal Reserve reversing rate increases and its Quantitative Tightening policy.

It’s red and a sauce. ;-) I had a Czech au pair who made that for the trailing daughters regularly. The nice thing about using ketchup is that she always made a smiley face with it on the noodles.

The Italian ice cream shops in Germany make an ice cream sundae that looks like spaghetti with red sauce — very popular with children. So they have no business complaining what others do in the privacy of their own homes.

Also, I’ve read that catsup was invented in India. I have no idea how they use it, but I’m sure it isn’t on hamburgers.

#9  According to the internet I am wrong: ke-tsiap was invented in Vietnam as a pickled fish sauce, got that name in southeastern China, then made its way to Indonesia (ketjap) and Malaysia (kechap). Brought to England by sailors, the English version involved mushrooms and resembled Worcestershire sauce — only after reaching America were tomatoes added to the thing.

Turkish drone attack injures one SDF fighter near Tal Tamir: monitor
[Rudaw] A Ottoman Turkish drone on Monday targeted a military point of Kurdish forces in the vicinity of Tal Tamir, northern Syria, leading to the injury of a fighter, a war monitor reported.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the Ottoman Turkish drone hit a US-allied Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) military point in Tal Laben village in Tal Tamir, northwest Hasaka. "It led to the injury of a fighter from the Council," added the UK-based monitor, referring to the SDF’s local military council.

SOHR also said that Ankara has carried out 32 air strikes against Kurdish forces in northeast Syria (Rojava) since the beginning of this year, killing 20 fighters, children and women as well as injuring 62 others.

The Rojava Information Centre, a local monitor group affiliated to the Kurdish administration, also reported the drone attack by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
, saying it led to the injury of "one person."

Turkey has recently renewed threats to carry out a new military operation against the Kurdish-led SDF in northern Syria’s Manbij and Tal Rifaat towns in a bid to complete the 30 kilometer "safe zone" it began creating along its southern borders in recent years.

Ankara claims that the People’s Protection Units (YPG), the backbone of the SDF, is the Syrian offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) which is an gang fighting for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey. Ankara considers both the PKK and YPG as terrorist organziations and a threat to its national security.

Iran conducts 2nd test of satellite launcher as nuclear talks said set to resume
[IsraelTimes] Zuljanah rocket weighs 52 tons and can reach an orbit of 500 kilometers above the surface; US warns it could be used to launch nuclear warheads
Video of the take off at the link, for those interested.
    Iran
...They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
tested out its Zuljanah satellite launcher on Sunday, the second of three tests scheduled for the long-range ballistic launcher, which the US fears could be used to launch nuclear warheads.

The test, reported by Iranian state TV, comes a day after European brass hats said talks on reviving the nuclear deal with Tehran would resume within days.

The rocket’s name, Zuljanah, comes from the name of the horse of Imam Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. It weighs 52 tons, is 25.5 meters in length, and can carry loads of up to 220 kilograms at an orbit of 500 kilometers above the surface, according to a report by Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency.

"The third development phase of the Zuljanah satellite launcher will be based on a combination of information gained during today’s launch," a defense ministry spokesperson was cited by Rooters as saying Sunday.

Iran first acknowledged the planned tests for the Zuljanah satellite launcher on June 15, after satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies showed preparations at a launch pad at Imam Khomeini Spaceport in Iran’s rural Semnan province, the site of frequent recent failed attempt
    ...Curses! Foiled again!...
s to put a satellite into orbit.

One set of images showed a rocket on a transporter, preparing to be lifted and put on a launch tower. A later image showed the rocket apparently on the tower.

A spokesperson of Iran’s Defense Ministry responded to the published images by saying the tests would be conducted for "research" purposes, according to Fars News Agency.

But the US has rejected such claims, accusing Tehran of refueling tensions in the area.

Kurdish children, woman drowned in Greek waters to be returned home
[Rudaw] The bodies of three Kurdish migrants colonists recovered from the Greek coast earlier this month will be returned to the Kurdistan Region on July 2, the representative of an organization working with refugees and displaced persons announced on Sunday.

The three Kurdish migrants colonists are set to arrive in the homeland through Erbil International Airport on July 2 at 4:05 pm, said Hussein Hama Salih, the Greece representative of Summit (Lutka) Foundation for Refugees and Displaced Affairs.

He confirmed the three migrants colonists’ bodies as those of 32-year-old Ameera Othman, four-year-old Hanasa Hazhar, and seven-year-old Rezhwar Rebwar. Their bodies were identified on June 15.

Greece is a key route used by refugees and migrants colonists as an entry point into the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
At least three separate migrant boats sank in the Aegean Sea late last year, leading to the drowning of at least 30 people, including Kurds, between December 21 and 25.

Othman, Hazhar and Rebwar drowned after their boat capsized on the night of December 21, according to Lutka.

An 11-year-old boy who lost his entire family in the Aegean Sea was returned to his hometown of Koya in March.

Salih in mid-June told Rudaw that the two children whose bodies will be returned next Saturday belonged to the same family, and they were from Koya town.

The Kurdistan Region saw a large exodus of its youth last year, when tens of thousands of mostly young Kurds left the Region and headed to Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
seeking a better life, using smuggling routes. A number of these migrants colonists met their unfortunate end on the freezing Belarus-Poland border and others drowned at sea.

The bodies of 16 migrants colonists who drowned in the deadliest migrant disaster in the English Channel were returned to the Kurdistan Region in late December, with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) describing the tragedy as the "worst disaster on record."

People, mostly youth, take the perilous journey away from the Kurdistan Region through smuggling routes trying to escape an ongoing crisis grasping the Region — with high unemployment, corruption, political instability, and a fragile economy influencing their decision to depart.

The Kurdish government has acknowledged the existence of systemic issues and financial hardships but has said it is working to address these problems.

Judge throws out NYC law allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections
More on this story from yesterday.
[NYPOST] A New York City law allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections was struck down Monday by a judge who said it violated both the state constitution and various provisions of state law.

Staten Island Supreme Court Justice Ralph Porzio also issued a permanent injunction that bars the city Board of Elections from letting around 800,000 non-citizen residents register to vote.

In a 13-page ruling, Porzio said city officials can’t "obviate" restrictions in the state constitution, which "expressly states that only citizens meeting the age and residency requirements are entitled to register and vote in elections."

"There is no statutory ability for the City of New York to issue inconsistent laws permitting non-citizens to vote and exceed the authority granted to it by the New York State Constitution," he wrote.

Porzio said the city’s move also violated sections of the state’s Election Law and Municipal Home Rule Law.

City Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli (R-Staten Island), among the plaintiffs who challenged the law, hailed the ruling, saying it "validates those of us who can read the plain English words of our state constitution" and accused the measure’s proponents of seeking to "skirt the law for political gain."

"Opposition to this measure was bipartisan and cut across countless neighborhood and ethnic lines, yet progressives chose to ignore both our constitution and public sentiment in order to suit their aims," he said in a prepared statement.

Rudy Giuliani's alleged attacker walks free after charges downgraded
[NYPOST] The ShopRite worker arrested for allegedly hitting Rudy Giuliani on the back inside a Staten Island supermarket walked free from court Monday after his charges were downgraded.

Daniel Gill, 39, who was still dressed in his ShopRite uniform following his Sunday arrest, kept his head down and refused to answer questions as he left Staten Island Criminal Court after his arraignment Monday.

His charges were downgraded to third-degree assault, third-degree menacing, and second-degree harassment over the caught-on-camera attack inside the supermarket.

Gill, who had no priors, was initially charged with second-degree assault involving a person over age 65.

Judge Gerianne Abriano refused the Staten Island DA’s Office’s request for supervised release and instead let Gill go on his own recognizance.

From the Russian Perspective: Operation on Denazification of Ukraine: operational summary June 27th (updated)
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Kindly note that several entries in this article were removed because they included discussions of the grand strategic level.

[NewsFrontInfo] 23:56 Residents of Transcarpathia report that they began to catch men not only in public places, but even break into houses with searches, check phones and walk around the courtyards of houses, just to hand over summonses.

21:37 Medvedev about the words of the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia about the ban on transit as the first step to cut off Kaliningrad: "you see, he drank or ate something bad, he will come to his senses - he will be afraid of every rustle at the door."

21:36 The Kyiv regime is preparing a provocation at the Krivoy Rog thermal power plant in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian Defense Ministry reports. The Ukrainian command has placed armed formations on the territory of the thermal power plant, artillery and MLRS are moving out of there to positions. It is possible that, having failed to provoke the Russian military to strike at the station, Kyiv itself will arrange an explosion, the Ministry of Defense notes. In this case, the population of most of the central regions of Ukraine will remain without electricity.

17:56 Residents of the liberated districts of the Zaporozhye region receive threats from residents of Ukraine, told Ilona Ishchenko, head of the Russian-controlled Chernihiv region. Ishchenko noted that Ukrainians make threatening phone calls and also send messages on social networks and instant messengers.

16:46 A series of strikes were carried out in the Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk and Sumy regions. According to Come and See, up to eight missiles have been fired by the Russian army in just the last hour.

15:36 Kherson region receives targeted humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid was delivered to Novoaleksandrovka, Baltazarovka and Novopavlovka with the assistance of the Russian Guard, the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Ministry of Defense.

15:36 Russian servicemen continue to reveal caches of uncontrollably issued weapons. In Energodar, during operational activities, Russian military personnel identified a member of the territorial defense organization who organized a cache with a machine gun (AKM) and ammunition. The attacker planned to commit sabotage against Russian servicemen. By order of the curators, he spied on the personnel and the location of military equipment.

15:36 In Energodarworks Center for Humanitarian Aid. The center is designed to provide humanitarian assistance to socially unprotected segments of the population. To receive humanitarian assistance, you must leave your application to the center employee at st. Builders, 29.

14:46 During the fighting, 3 km from the Lisichansk oil refinery of the Luhansk People's Republic, Russian units destroyed two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of mercenaries, totaling 14 militants.

◽️The first group was "international" and consisted of citizens of various European states. The second included only mercenaries from Georgia, who were part of the so-called "Georgian Legion". In the ranks of this bandit formation, mainly criminals are fighting. Destroyed Georgian militants are involved in the brutal torture and murder of Russian servicemen near Kyiv in March of this year.

◽️The Russian Defense Ministry has information on every mercenary involved in the abuse and murder of our servicemen. We found them and punished them.

14:46 The Russian Aerospace Forces launched a strike with four high-precision air-launched missiles at the shops of the Artem Rocket-Building Corporation in the Shevchenko district of Kyiv. This enterprise produced ammunition for Ukrainian multiple launch rocket systems.

◽️According to objective control data, all four missiles reached their target. The object is hit. The civilian infrastructure of the city of Kyiv, as a result of the use of high-precision weapons, was not damaged.

◽️The Kyiv regime made attempts to intercept Russian high-precision missiles by anti-aircraft weapons deployed in the city. More than 10 anti-aircraft missiles were used by Ukrainian crews of S-300 and Buk M1 anti-aircraft missile systems.

◽️Due to the lack of interface between launchers of air defense systems and radio equipment located in urban areas, two S-300 anti-aircraft missiles were shot down in the air by Ukrainian Buk. Presumably one of the downed anti-aircraft missiles fell on a residential building.

◽️Against the backdrop of the successes of the Russian army in liberating the territory of Donbass, the Ukrainian command is trying to stop the chaotic flight of Ukrainian military units in the Lysichansk region.

◽️So, in order to hold the positions of the personnel of the first battalion of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a “blocking detachment” of the Nazi formation "Right Sector" was sent to the area of the settlement of Volcheyarovka. This unit was destroyed by Russian artillery.

◽️Control of the Ukrainian troops in the Lysychansk direction is lost. Thus, the commander of the 115th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who placed his command post in the rear zone, lost control of his units, which led to the irretrievable loss of 80 percent of the personnel and about 70 percent of the equipment of the 138th battalion of this brigade during the fighting.

14:30 Militants APU when surrendering a new specialty. Now they are all not cooks, but drivers of vehicles for the supply of material resources. The Brave grouping is increasingly capturing servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the rear units. At first glance, it is hard to believe in their fairy tales, but in fact, this is exactly what happens.

Huge losses of personnel force the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to throw everyone on the front line. And if the combat units, especially artillery, the command is still somehow trying to withdraw and save, then such cook-drivers, etc. thrown without the slightest pity and regret.

14:29 Ukrainian contractors told that the command persuaded them to commit terrorist attacks in Kherson.

13:54 Local residents report explosions in the Nikolaev area.

13:51 Self-propelled howitzers delivered by Berlin to Kyiv are used in the East of Ukraine - Bild newspaper.

13:08 Odessa resistance reports: a large number of nationalists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Troops are based on Shota Rustaveli Street in an unfinished high-rise building.

11:33 Ukraine announced that it was terminating two agreements with Russia in the field of nuclear security.

11:28 The affairs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Lisichansk are very bad. N.p. Volcheyarovka came under the control of the Allied Forces. There are fights on the southern outskirts of Lisichansk, in the area of the gelatin factory. Fierce battles unfolded behind the settlement. Berestovoe, there is also movement towards the settlement of Verkhnekamenka and the neighboring Lisichansk Oil Refinery.

The only escape route for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is through Seversk, but even there fire control of the road is carried out. As I noted earlier, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Lisichansk region are doomed to an unknown death. In general, the fall of the Lisichansk-Severodonetsk agglomeration may become a “point of no return” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which can trigger a “domino effect” in all key areas. I won’t be surprised if the Allies make a dash for Artemovsk / Bakhmut in the very near future."

10:46 Captured Ukrainian soldier told RIA Novostihow the commanders abandoned him in Volcheyarovka and he almost died under a tank in the basement.

10:44 The RF Armed Forces have increased the number of missile and artillery strikes on the infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine several times. According to Come and See, the Russian army has significantly increased the number of rocket and artillery strikes. And even in minor areas.

"The number of missile arrivals through the infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has increased. From the standard 10 launches to 50 missile and artillery strikes per day," the source of the channel said.

According to him, the practice of "second volleys" has appeared. We are talking about missile launches not only from 22.00 to 00.00, but also from 0200 to 0500 hrs.

"Moreover, even daytime rocket launches have become common practice," he said.

Russian aviation is increasingly visible over Kharkiv.

10:43 Today at 4.30 Ukrainian troops produced shelling of the city of Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region. As a result of a direct hit on the house on the street. Nevsky, a woman born in 1970 died, households and personal cars of citizens on the street were damaged. Nevsky, st. Dneprovskaya, per. Chekhov.

09:29 The number of refugees who arrived in Russia from Donbass and Ukraine exceeded 2.1 million people, TASS reported, citing a source in law enforcement agencies.

09:25 Today at 4.30 am, Ukrainian troops shelled the city of Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region. As a result of a direct hitto the house on st. Nevsky, a woman born in 1970 died, households and personal cars of citizens on the street were damaged. Nevsky, st. Dneprovskaya, per. Chekhov.

08:16 Consequences of the impact according to n.p. Lighthouses in the Odessa region. According to preliminary data, another ammunition depot.

02:43 The situation on the fronts for the past day:

-On the Kharkov, Izyumo-Slavyansk and Donetsk sectors of the front without change. There are minor skirmishes and exchanges of "greetings" from the gunners without the advance of the troops. There are fights in Klinovoe and in the direction of Pokrovsky.

‘Everything just kicked in': Sailor saves flight attendant's life on a long Navy trip
[Daily Press] It was an ordinary, if long, flight from Naples, but some 45 minutes out from Hampton Roads, it turned into something else for Petty Officer 1st Class Gerardo Alvarez, on his way to join the crew of USS John C. Stennis at Newport News Shipbuilding.

A flight attendant had stumbled, struck her head and was lying unconscious on the floor of the Navy transport plane. Alvarez, a physical therapy tech whose normal duties involve muscle strains and skeletal issues, scrambled.

But every Navy hospital corpsman has to know, train and be regularly tested on basic life-saving skills. Alvarez, a Los Angeles native who joined the Navy specifically to become a corpsman, says anyone on his Stennis team could do the same.

"I’d just been recertified for CPR," he said. "Everything just kicked in — muscle memory."

Kneeling next to the unconscious flight attendant, he couldn’t detect a pulse. He started chest compressions, tilted her head back so he could fit an oxygen mask from the plane’s first aid kit onto his patient. Another sailor hastened over, to hold the flight attendant’s head steady while Alvarez concentrated on chest compressions.

"You have to keep it up until the EMTs come and can take over," he said.

So as the pilot, with clearance for an emergency landing at Atlantic City, banked and turned and then landed, he kept going: on the floor of the plane, by the flight attendant lying there.

    No seat belt.

If there were bumps or turbulence, he didn’t notice.

"At times like this, it’s the patient first," he said. "You don’t think about yourself."

South Carolina man killed after 11-foot alligator pulled him into pond
(NYPOST] A South Carolina man was killed Friday after officials say an 11-foot alligator attacked him and pulled him into a retention pond.

In a Facebook post, the Horry County Police Department said they responded to a water rescue call around 11:45 a.m. Friday near the Myrtle Beach Golf & Yacht Club.

They and members of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Section and SCDNR Law Enforcement Division also responded to assist.

When they arrived at the scene, it was determined that the alligator grabbed the unidentified man standing near a retention pond and pulled him in.

The man’s body was later recovered from the pond, and officials determined that the alligator should be euthanized on site.

FOX News correspondent Phil Keating reports there are millions of alligators in the United States, from Texas to the Carolinas.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Time Is Not On Kyiv's Side: Training, Weapons, and Attrition in Ukraine
[Modern War Institute] The battalion commander shrugged helplessly when we advised him that five days was a completely inadequate amount of time in which to train his soldiers. "This is all we have—they are needed on the front," he replied with grim finality. A few days later, on a separate course that we were running for his medics, half of our class disappeared on the second day. "We have had casualties," was the only explanation we received. Even in units that fall within the Ukrainian special operations command, most soldiers are sent to the front line with very little training. In one such unit, we estimated that just 20 percent had even fired a weapon before heading to combat.

On May 3, the Ukrainian parliament passed a law that allows territorial defense units—the country’s home guard—to be deployed to combat outside their home regions. These units are manned by local volunteers who typically have received very little preparation. We were soon swamped by requests for training courses. In the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, a town hall meeting to explain the new policy to local territorial defense volunteers was disrupted by wives alarmed at the prospect of their part-time soldier husbands deploying to the front.

Each anecdote by itself a data point, but together they tell a story that belies the relentless optimism that has pervaded Ukrainian representation of the war from the outset. After four months of grinding attrition, the Ukrainian army is facing a manpower shortage.

Every day in the current fighting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said earlier this month, around sixty to one hundred Ukrainian soldiers are killed and another five hundred wounded in combat. A more recent New York Times article puts that figure much higher—at one hundred to two hundred deaths a day. To put that in context, during the 1968 Tet offensive in Vietnam, one of the bloodiest periods of the war, US deaths were roughly two hundred a week—and among a force almost twice the size of the Ukrainian army.

Aside from Zelenskyy’s admission, the Ukrainian government has been largely reticent about releasing casualty figures and Western governments have offered few of their own assessments, but grim reports from the front line indicate that Ukrainian casualties are high—and perhaps in the long term unsustainable. "My friend’s son is in a company with just thirty soldiers left," down from the 120 personnel typically in a company, one senior Ukrainian officer told me.

The Ukrainians have been shamelessly lying for months. It's long Bee n obvious that their bestctroops are no match for the Russians and are being ripped to shreds. They're being replaced with cannon fodder drawn from the Territorial Defense Force-- those poor pathetic oldsters and kids who've been pressganged into action, handed a rifle and sent against their will into the buzzsaw on the Donbas front.

#2  Strange they were suppose to fall with attempted coup de main in February. Then they were suppose to fall in March to the blitz on Kyiv. Then it was just a matter of weeks when the traditional Russian grind of troops and artillery was implemented in May. Yeah, really poor soldiers, but who actually believe in something called the Ukraine.

The general rule is that you need a 3 to 1 ratio to achieve goals on the battlefield. When you throw away maneuver and finesse, that is what the grind will cost. So even if the Ukrainians are hurting, that seems to imply the attacker is suffering around 2 or more casualties to their one. Things aren't garlands and cheering crowds on the Russian side either.

Russian bloggers are reporting the same situation in their own units. Many motor rifle companies have only 3 IFVs and only 3 - 4 infantry per vehicle.

GOP Rep. Mayra Flores accuses Speaker Nancy Pelosi of 'pushing' daughter during photo op
[NYPOST] A newly elected GOP congresswoman accused House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments...
of "pushing" her young daughter during a photo op at her swearing-in ceremony last week.

Rep. Mayra Flores of Texas made the accusation after a video posted on social media showed her posing with Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her family at the ceremony — with conservative commentators saying the speaker "elbowed" Flores’ daughter.

"No child should be pushed to the side for a photo op. PERIOD!!" Flores captioned a retweet of the video.

"I am so proud of my strong, beautiful daughter for not allowing this to faze her," she said. "She continued to smile and pose for the picture like a Queen."

The video shows Pelosi, standing next to Flores’ daughter, as she waves over the family’s pastor. Pelosi then looks at the girl and extends her elbow at the same point that the child moves over.

Spokesman insists Pelosi’s ‘push’ of GOP pol’s kid was for her own good
Ummm... That's what they told the cat...

They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
-aligned super PAC that was behind the unearthing of embarrassing and compromising videos of Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC).

    Among the spurious claims that went viral about Boebert (R-Colo.) was that she was introduced to Sen. Ted Cruz;
...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet...
(R-Texas) after being hired as an escort by a member of the Koch family. Boebert, who has denied the claims, has threatened legal action against the super PAC.

Dale appeared on CNN on Monday and relayed to viewers that David Wheeler, the super PAC co-founder, "acknowledged to me that all five of these [claims] were indeed inaccurate, but that his group still stands by what he calls the main points of the allegations, all of which Boebert vehemently denies."

Dale’s on-air remarks were reported by the online news site Mediaite.

"But so far the PAC has not provided corroborating evidence to prove the so-called main points," said Dale.

Gunmen Storm Drinking Joint In Enugu, Kill Pregnant Woman, Vigilante Member

Gunmen suspected to cultists have gone on rampage in Akwuke, Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State, shooting dead a pregnant woman and a vigilante member.

The hoodlums were also said to have shot a secondary school girl in the leg who is now receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

SaharaReporters gathered the incident took place on Saturday night around 8pm.

Three of hoodlums were said to have stormed a drinking joint and ordered everybody to lie down.

The owner of the joint, who also lived in the same compound, had sensed danger and escaped through the back door but his pregnant wife was not so lucky as the men pursued her into her kitchen and shot her dead.

A young man, whose name was given as Nonso, one of the vigilante members, who was at the joint tried to escape but was also rubbed out.

The pregnant woman's house help, who was also helping out in the joint was shot in the leg and is now receiving treatment at a hospital, SaharaReporters was told.

According to community sources, the button men had earlier gone into a compound inside Akwuke and demanded to see another young man but the man was not at home prompting them to come for the owner of the drinking joint, Hon. Felix Onyia, the immediate past counsellor representing Akwuke ward at the Enugu South legislative Assembly.

An eyewitness who spoke with SaharaReporters on condition of anonymity described the incident as horrific and terrifying.

He said, "I saw everything. I asked the woman to prepare fish for me and I was drinking, waiting for the fish when we heard, "Lie down, all of you."

"NwaGod popularly known as Hon. Onyia was sitting on the other side with Nonso, the vigilante man that was shot. When they told us to lie down, I quickly moved into one of the rooms and from there, I jumped through the window and they saw me but did not shot me. It was later I learnt that they shot NwaGod's wife and shot Nonso, the security man also. They also shot the girl that was serving in the beer parlour."

When contacted on telephone, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, said, "I am not aware of the incident but I'll get back to you. Where exactly in Akwuke do you say the incident happened?"

Libya among Few Countries Still Operating 30-Year Old Airbus A340
[LibyaReview] The Airbus A340 has been out of production for about a decade now. Yet, the four-engined jet continues to operate commercial service. There are nearly 80 Airbus A340s still listed as active in a few countries, including Libya.

The remaining active A340s mostly fall into two categories: VIP government transports, or wet-lease services. Governments that use the A340 as Presidential or VIP transports, include Azerbaijan, Libya, Qatar

The government of Algeria has an A340-500, while the Kingdom of Eswatini has a single -300. The Royal Thai Air Force has an active -500, while the German Air Force also operates a pair of A340-300s.

According to Planespotters.net, there are 79 A340s listed as active, 35 listed as parked, and 87 listed as stored.

Given the status of this aircraft type as old and inefficient, it’s questionable if the jets listed stored will indeed ever return to service again. While perhaps a handful of stored Lufthansa A340-600s maybe eventually be re-activated, it’s unlikely that the three SAS A340-300s will ever fly out of their current home at the Marana storage site in Arizona.

Those listed as parked have a much better chance of flying again, but there is always the possibility that these will eventually have their status changed to stored.

Notably, there are more A340 operators out there than those flying Airbus’ other quad jet, the A380. Indeed, if sanctions against certain countries persist, perhaps it’s possible that the A340 will outlive the A380 in terms of active commercial service. The A380, after all, is much more costly to operate, and isn’t able to access as many airports as its older but smaller sibling.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: June 27th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 23:40 The Russians today after 16:00 began shelling from cannon artillery in the Sumy region: more than 40 shots were fired at the Krasnopol community, as a result of which one person was injured. After 22:00, the enemy opened fire on the Belopolskaya community, said the head of the UVA Dmitry Zhivitsky.

23:39 Moody's agency stated that holders of Russian Eurobonds did not receive payments in due time, which is considered a default.

23:38 Tonight Russians fired at Nikolaev with cluster shells from Hurricanes, Mayor Alexander Senkevich reported. Private houses and a car were damaged.

23:35 At the NATO summit, an "awakening" of the alliance is expected, Yegor Chernev, head of the Ukrainian permanent delegation to the NATO PA, said on the air of the telethon. According to him, this will be expressed in increased support for Ukraine. And Chernev connects the acceleration of our country's integration into the alliance with the end of the war - then, probably, "we will very quickly follow this path and, possibly, without a MAP." He also said that tomorrow at the summit of the alliance the issue of Ukraine's transition to NATO standards, in particular, rearmament, will be discussed.

23:33 Currently, more than 40 applications have already been received from citizens about the disappearance of their relatives after the shelling of the mall in Kremenchuk, the Office of the Prosecutor General said.

23:31 Ukraine won an interim victory in the UN maritime arbitration against Russia. The UN Arbitration Tribunal for the Law of the Sea supported the position of Kyiv and ruled that it had jurisdiction to consider the case of the seizure by the Russian Federation of three ships and sailors in November 2018.

23:08 As a result of the shelling of Kharkov, the number of wounded increased to 31, including five children aged 8-12. The death toll remained unchanged - five people , said the head of the regional police Vladimir Timoshko.

23:04 Zelensky said in an evening video message that the Russian army does not know how to fight. He stated this in an address to the leaders of the G7: “Our common potential is absolutely enough to defeat the Russian army - it does not know how to fight. All the operations that we carry out to de-occupy our territories show one thing: the occupiers pour in when they have something put pressure on them. They don't know how to resist."

The President recalled that even before the start of a full-scale war, Ukraine told its partners that it needed modern missile defense: “The world is capable, and therefore must stop Russian terror. And now I can already say this - I heard it from our partners: Ukraine must receive reliable missile defense, we are waiting for the delivery of the corresponding systems."

22:49 Today's Russian attack on a shopping center in Kremenchuk is one of the most daring terrorist attacks in the history of Europe, Zelensky said in an evening video message. According to him, before the announcement of the air raid alert, there were about a thousand people in the shopping center, but many managed to get out. "Only completely frostbitten terrorists, who should not have a place on earth, can strike such an object with missiles. And this is not a mistaken missile hit, this is a calculated Russian strike on this particular shopping center," the president stressed.

He stated that "the Russian state has become the largest terrorist organization in the world - this is a fact, and this should be a legal fact." Zelensky said that this morning he called on the United States to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. The corresponding resolution has been approved by the US Senate committee, and the legal decision can be taken by the State Department.

According to the president, during the full-scale invasion, Russia used almost 2,800 different cruise missiles against Ukraine: "The number of air bombs, rocket artillery shells hitting our cities is simply incalculable. There are hundreds of thousands of them over the four months of the war. This is nothing but terror".

22:10 In Kremenchug, as a result of a missile attack on the mall, the number of victims increased to 13 , said the head of the Poltava OVA Dmitry Lunin.

22:08 In Lisichansk, the Russians fired on local residents from Hurricanes who were collecting water from a tanker: eight people died, 21 were taken to the hospital , said the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai. Of those who asked for help, 16 citizens were evacuated to hospitals in other regions, the rest remained in the city.

22:03 First Deputy Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that the "situation" in Kremenchug looks "like a provocation in Bucha."

22:01 The Russian Defense Ministry said that Kiev is allegedly preparing a provocation at the Krivorozh thermal power plant in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of which "the population of most of the central regions of Ukraine will be left without electricity."

21:57 As of 20:50, firefighting continues in the building of the shopping center in Kremenchug. The bodies of ten dead were found at the scene of the fire, and another person died in the hospital. 59 people turned to medical institutions, 25 of them were hospitalized, the State Emergency Service reported.

21:55 Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said that after the rocket attacks on the shopping center in Kremenchug, even more sanctions should be imposed against Russia: “Another terrible war crime of Russia is the rocket attacks on the shopping center in Kremenchug. The day will come when those responsible will be held accountable, "Until then, let's stop calling the Kremlin. They need to be completely isolated, more sanctions need to be imposed. My condolences to all those affected."

21:53 Johnson at a meeting of G7 leaders condemned the Russian missile attack on Kremenchuk: "This terrible attack once again showed the depth of cruelty and barbarism into which the Russian leader will fall. <...> Putin must understand that his behavior will only strengthen the resolve of the UK and any other G7 country to support Ukraine for as long as necessary."

Also, the British prime minister said in an interview with the BBC that the world should continue to support Ukraine regardless of the cost, because "the price of freedom is worth it." He recalled that during the Second World War, it took a lot of time and money to overthrow dictators, but "decades of stability" and "long-term prosperity" came.

21:49 Over the past day, Russian troops have not advanced in the Donetsk region, while their main intentions - Slavyansk and Kramatorsk - remain, the head of the UVA Pavel Kirilenko said on the air of the telethon. According to him, the situation is serious in Bakhmut, where the enemy is approaching from the Luhansk region, and Slavyansk has been under shelling for the third day. Also in the region there are again interruptions in water and electricity supply.

21:41 Argentina and Iran have applied to join the BRICS (an alliance that unites Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). This desire was announced three days apart by Argentine President Alberto Fernandez and Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Said Khatibzadeh.

21:38 As a result of today's shelling of Kharkiv by the Russian army, five people were killed, 22 were injured, five of them were children , Oleg Sinegubov, head of the OVA, said. The condition of the wounded is grave and average, as a result of the shelling, the residents received explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds.

21:34 The Baykar company announced that it would give Ukraine three Bayraktars for free, for which the Ukrainians transferred money to the fund of Serhiy Prytula. The company was asked to send the collected funds to help in the struggle of the people of Ukraine.

21:27 The Pentagon called "unceremonious" Putin's statement about providing Belarus with missiles capable of carrying a nuclear charge, reporter Jack Detsch said referring to a US Department of Defense official: "I can't think of anything more irresponsible than a high-ranking leader who talks about nuclear weapons in this case".

21:25 Following the summit in Germany, the leaders of the Group of Seven countries announced that they are ready to provide financial, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support to Ukraine as much as necessary. For more information about the decisions made, see Sanctions and Putin's trolling .

21:22 Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that two rockets were fired at Kremenchuk, one of which hit the shopping center, the second - the city stadium.

21:14 The Ukrainian court arrested the property of Russian companies, including RusAl, Rostec and Tatneft, worth more than 4.5 billion hryvnias, the Office of the Prosecutor General said.

21:12 Borrell called on the EU to abandon the principle of unanimity in decision-making: "As we revitalize EU enlargement, we must make similar efforts to reform the EU and the decision-making process ... This means reducing the scope of the unanimity rule in foreign policy and other areas to make more decisions by qualified majority."

The head of European diplomacy stressed that the union at various times paid for the principle of unanimity in foreign policy. As an example, he cited the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Federation, in particular, the exclusion of Patriarch Kirill from the sanctions list and the mitigation of some final provisions.

Borrell added that if countries know in advance that a final decision can be made by a qualified majority, they have an incentive to negotiate and build consensus. If they know that they can block everything, then they have no incentive to reach a healthy compromise: "They can sit in their positions, forcing others to change. And the more outsiders are considered successful in their tactics, the more this dynamic spreads, and now the veto occur more frequently than in the past.

21:05 JP Morgan predicted that Ukraine would receive $ 20 billion in financial assistance from the West and called for lowering the official hryvnia rate from 29.25 to 35-35.6 hryvnia per dollar: "A quick return to some form of exchange rate flexibility is required. US carries out strike inside Syria, targeting 'senior' terrorist leader: CENTCOM
[ALARABIYA] The US military said it conducted a "kinetic strike" overnight Monday in Syria in an operation that targeted a senior al-Qaeda-linked terrorist.

"CENTCOM Forces conducted a kinetic strike in Idlib province, Syria, June 27, targeting Abu Hamzah al Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...

    ...KABOOM!...
s that have killed civilians. But the US said al-Yemeni was alone while traveling on a cycle of violence, and no civilian casualties were reported.

Extremist organizations like Hurras al-Din continue to present a threat to America and its allies, CENTCOM said, adding that al-Qaeda-aligned bully boyz use Syria as a safe haven to coordinate with external affiliates and plan operations outside of Syria.

"The removal of this big shot will disrupt al-Qaeda’s ability to carry out attacks against US citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians around the world," CENTCOM said.

US-led coalition troops detained a senior ISIS leader earlier this month, also inside Syria, the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said.

Also this year, US President Joe The Big Guy Biden

#1  ...Interesting commentary on this over at the Always Fascinating strategypage.com . Short version - apparently the various terrorist leaders are finding life quite uncomfortable these days.

For some time their preferred strategy was to hide in crowds...until the Russians and Syrians stopped caring and started taking out the crowds as well. Moving alone by motorcycle is fast, but then you have the problem of the United States Air Force and its Predator crews being realy, really good at finding lone dudes on motorcycles trying to look inconspicuous.

Voicemail indicates Joe Biden knew of Hunter deals with 'spy chief of China'
[NYPOST] Joe The Big Guy Biden
    ...46th president of the U.S. S You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
called his son Hunter in late 2018 to discuss a New York Times

article detailing the younger Biden’s dealings with a Chinese oil tycoon accused of economic crimes — telling him, "I think you’re clear," according to a report Monday.

The voicemail, discovered on a cell phone backup contained on Hunter Biden’s infamous discarded laptop, would appear to contradict President Biden’s continued denial that he ever talked with his disgraced 52-year-old son about his overseas business transactions — and was aware they could be improper.

"Hey pal, it’s Dad," Joe Biden said, the Daily Mail reported. "It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you."

Biden then made his intentions clear.

"I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good," Biden continued. "I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you."

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Russian military shelled Lisichansk from Uragans
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Vesti] Residents of Lisichansk were hit by Russian Hurricanes. This was announced on Monday, June 27, by the head of the Luhansk region Serhiy Gaidai.

According to him, the blow was delivered at the moment when civilians were collecting water from a mobile tank.

As a result, eight people were killed and 21 others were injured. Among them are two children.

"The Russians are storming Lisichansk, besides, they are constantly destroying the city with all possible weapons. The quantitative advantage is on the side of the enemy. Our defenders lack long-range artillery. For the last two days we have not been able to deliver humanitarian supplies, but the city is kept on stocks that we made in advance, in including the hospital is equipped with everything necessary. In the occupied territories, "someone" is constantly littering with cigarette butts. Several enemy BCs have been destroyed ," the head of the UVA said.

Also, as Gaidai noted, the invaders will not be able to restore communications in the occupied Severodonetsk, and the meager humanitarian aid from them is a window dressing for the propaganda "media", no one will bring enough food and medicine for the townspeople.

As Vesti.ua reported, today Russian aircraft attacked Kremenchug. As a result of rockets hitting the Amstor mall, ten people were killed, about 40 were injured . There were about a thousand people in the mall, so the number of victims is likely to only increase.

It also became known that as a result of today's shelling of Kharkov, four people were killed, 19 were injured, including four children.

Gaidai urges residents of Lisichansk to urgently leave the city

[Vesti] The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, called on the residents of Lisichansk and the territorial community to urgently evacuate. He wrote about this in Telegram .

“Due to the existence of a real threat to life and health, we call for an urgent evacuation! The situation in the city is extremely difficult! Save yourself and your loved ones. Take care of the children!” he emphasized.

He assured that all those who left will be taken care of at the places of arrival on the territory of Ukraine and left phone numbers for reference: 050 208 92 23, 095 513 80 91, 050 986 42 10, 066 464 22 83.

Gaidai also recalled that on June 26, six residents of Lisichansk were evacuated.

"Each of those who hesitate should understand that next time it will be even more difficult. Do not miss these chances," the head of the OVA stressed.

It should be noted that the Russian military continues to shell Lisichansk in the Luhansk region, in particular, over the past day, at least 11 houses, infrastructure facilities, and two churches were damaged in the city.

    Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
    War in Ukraine. Summary 06/27/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
    [ColonelCassad] 1. Severodonetsk.
Most of the civilians held hostage were taken out of the territory of the Azot plant. The plant itself will continue to operate after restoration.
Combing of the industrial zone and forest plantations near Borovsky and Sirotino continues. Filtration measures are activated.

A direct assault on Lisichansk from Severodonetsk is not expected - the bridges have been destroyed + Lisichansk itself is on a hill. The intensity of the shelling of Severodonetsk fell - the main efforts of the enemy artillery are applied to hold the front near Lisichansk.

    2. Lisichansk.
Fights for Verkhnekamenka, Lisichansk refinery and factories on the southern outskirts of the city.

    Fights for the White Mountain.

The neck of the Lisichansk cauldron - up to 8 km. The real route to Seversk is now only through Belogorovka, but this road is already under fire from Russian artillery. Ukrainian propaganda is already preparing society for the surrender of Lisichansk. The LPR says the city will be liberated by the end of the week.

    3. Artemovsk.
Fighting in Klinovoye and in the Pokrovsky area. The enemy strengthened the defense of the city by rotating the battered brigades defending the city. The pressure of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Artemovsk will intensify in the near future, but without the capture of Pokrovsky, a direct assault on the city is unlikely to begin.

In the area of Svetlodarsk, there are no significant changes so far.

    4. Soledar.
Fighting at Berestovo, Belogorovka and near the Lisichansk-Artemovsk highway in the Nikolaevka area.

After the loss of Lisichansk, Soledar will become an element of the Soledar-Seversk defensive line, on which the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to hold the front north of Artemovsk. After the capture of Lisichansk, it is worth waiting for an offensive in the direction of Seversk and Soledar from the north.

    5. Kharkov.
Positional battles in the area of Tsupovka, Uda, Dementyevka, Upper Passages and Upper Saltovka. The enemy is almost completely on the defensive. The fire destruction of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kharkov and Chuguev is intensifying. They are also probing the Zolochev area.

    6. Slavyansk.
Fights at the Valley, Krasnopolye, Bogorodichny, Prishib and Sidorovo. The enemy notes some advance of the RF Armed Forces towards Slavyansk. The fire destruction of enemy forces in the Seversk area is also intensifying.
On the Izyum direction without significant changes.

    7. Avdievka.
At the front without significant changes. As before, fights in the industrial complex, on the Avdiivka-Konstantinovka highway and on the outskirts of New York.

Counterbattery work is intensifying, which, however, has not yet stopped the shelling of the cities of Donbass. Today there were civilians killed and wounded again.

    8. Zmeinny Island.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine claim that as a result of the shelling of Zmeinny Island, they were able to hit the Pantsir air defense missile system. No other successes are reported. It is stated that Zelensky gave the order to try to recapture Serpentine from the RF Armed Forces in two weeks. Apparently in other areas the chances of a "counteroffensive" are even less.

    9. Nikolaev.
Positional battles in the Nikopol, Krivoy Rog and Nikolaev directions. The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remains purely virtual here. The Ukrainian command is already openly calling to stop writing about the "successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," as the picture of the "offensive" is becoming more and more ridiculous against the background of numerous shots of the destruction of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by rocket and artillery strikes.

    10. Zaporozhye.
On the line Kamenskoye-Orekhov-Gulyaipole-Velikaya Novoselovka without significant changes.

Fighting in the area of Ugledar and Pavlovka. In Novomikhailovka and Marinka no changes. The activity of the enemy with the attack on Pavlovka and Yegorovka did not last long.

At least 13 dead after Russian missiles strike Ukrainian mall crowded with 1,000 shoppers
[NYPOST] Ukrainian officials said Monday that 13 civilians were confirmed dead and scores more were missing following a Russian missile attack on a crowded shopping center in the Poltava Oblast that was filled with some 1,000 people.

Footage shared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from the scene in the city of Kremenchuk showed orange flames and clouds of thick black smoke pouring out of the strip mall, with onlookers and firefighters standing outside.

"The invaders hit the mall where there were more than 1,000 civilians ... the number of victims cannot even be imagined," Ukraine’s leader wrote on social media. "(It) posed no danger to the Russian army, not a single strategic value."

Zelensky added: "Russia continues to take out its impotence on ordinary citizens. Hoping for common sense and humanity on Russia’s part is useless."

Regional governor Dmytro Lunin said Monday that, in addition to the 13 known dead, more than 50 others were found maimed as rescue crews continued to crawl through the rubble.

G7 leaders condemn Russia for its strike on the shopping center in Kremenchug

[REGNUM] The leaders of the G7 countries (USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan) condemned the alleged Russian military missile attack on the Amstor shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchug. This is stated in the joint statement of the G7.

"We, the leaders of the G7, condemn the heinous attack on a shopping mall in Kremenchuk."

from a joint statement by the leaders of the G7 countries
In the statement, the responsibility for what happened in the Poltava region was traditionally assigned to Russia.

Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that the fire in the Kremenchug Amstor shopping center "with 1,000 visitors" allegedly arose as a result of a deliberate missile attack by the Russian military, which is a "terrorist act."

According to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Dmitry Lunin , at least 13 people died as a result of the fire in the shopping center. First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky called the incident reminiscent of a provocation organized by the Kiev regime in Bucha.

A fake about a strike on a shopping center with 1,000 visitors in Kremenchug was exposed

[REGNUM] The information that the Russian military attacked the Amstor shopping center (the city of Kremenchug, Ukraine), which was full of visitors, is false, the telegram channel “War against fakes” reports on June 27.

The international media quickly picked up the news, according to which "a Russian missile hit the shopping center with 1,000 visitors" . This is how they reacted to information disseminated on June 27 by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky , who stated that there were about a thousand civilians in the shopping center at the time of the strike.

The Ukrainian authorities cite official data: preliminary, two people were killed, 20 were injured. The information was disseminated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko .

An analysis of messages on the Internet shows that the shopping center was probably not working. This is evidenced by the almost empty parking lot and attendance data. A large number of military men with weapons next to the building is also typical. There is information that equipment repaired at Dormash, the Kremenchug plant of road machines, was stored on the territory of the shopping center.

Amstor shopping center is located next to Dormash, 90 meters away. In one of the videos, it seems to people that the rocket hit the plant, judging by their comments. Since 2014, the plant has been repairing equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A railway line from the Kremenchug station leads to Dormash.

The Kremenchug station is one of the most important railway junctions in Ukraine, connecting the central and western parts of the country. In addition, in Kremenchug there is a locomotive depot (TC-6) and the Kremenchug power supply distance (EC-8). The station is actively used to supply fuel from the Kremenchug refinery for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

In the coming days, a NATO summit will be held, during which Zelensky will ask for military assistance from the Western "big brother". Now the Ukrainian authorities are preparing the ground to make a new Bucha out of Amstor, the authors of the publication note.

Polyansky compared the footage of the fire in Kremenchuk with the provocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bucha

[RIA Novosti] Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, suggested that "the attack on the shopping center in Kremenchug" was another Ukrainian provocation. He wrote about this on Twitter.

“It looks like we are dealing with a new Bucha-style provocation. We have to wait what our Ministry of Defense says, but there are already too many conspicuous inconsistencies. This is exactly what the Kyiv regime needs to keep the focus on Ukraine before the NATO summit,” - said the deputy chairman.

On Monday, footage of a shopping center in Kremenchug engulfed in flames appeared on social networks.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense called all photographs and videos published by the Kiev regime, allegedly testifying to crimes in Bucha , another provocation. As noted in the department, during the time this settlement was under the control of the Russian army, not a single local resident suffered from any violent actions.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov

The names of those killed in the provocation in Bucha have not yet been presented, Lavrov said.

They also stressed that all units completely left Bucha on March 30, and exits from the city in the northern direction were not blocked, while the southern outskirts, including residential areas, were fired around the clock by Ukrainian troops from large-caliber artillery, tanks and multiple launch rocket systems.

#11  The Russians did not strike a mall. They hit and destroyed an adjacent, enormous machining plant that is ideal for repairing or preparing heavy weaponry and that sits at a central distribution point in Ukraine.

This is another monstrous lie designed to keep up the con that Ukraine has not lost the war. Even little Natasha Bertrand's Pentagon and CIA whisperers are not pushing this stupid, obvious lie.

#18  Makes me think of the shopping center strike from some 8 weeks ago which was roundly rebuffed.

Way back when, friends and I would go to Haunted Houses around Halloween. Not crummy one, but put together by people who *Love* their job, multi story refitted buildings. Anyways, one had a stunt where an employee would run out and attack another employee, like a ticket taker. Maybe shift was up, don't know. Thing is, it sure set the mood.

I think of that everytime I read a story about a VIP visiting Kyeeeev and there are 'explosions' and the VIP gets to play serpentine.

#19  Of course I want Putin to lose. I want him dead in a ditch and Russia joining the civilized world for a change.

Civilized? You mean like the Biden family laundering money through a Ukrainian energy company? That kind of civilized? The kind of world where politicians rig elections, promote critical race theory and sexual confusion, take bribes from Chinese communists and allow their countries to be flooded with fentanyl? You must really hate Russia if that's what you want for them.

Nobody here is trying to tell you that Putin is a good guy. But I will assert that Biden is just as bad.

#21  Our beloved president is a different kind of bad than their beloved president. Not a better kind of bad, just different.

Abu Uluque, Vladimir Putin is supposed to be super clever after all those years moving up the ranks in the KGB. Falling for the nonsense coming out of Joe Biden’s mouth is a rookie mistake.

#22  Falling for the nonsense coming out of Joe Biden’s mouth is a rookie mistake.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean Biden's insistence on expanding NATO into Ukraine? Or, maybe, believing Biden when he said NATO wouldn't put nuclear armed cruise missiles on the Russian border with Ukraine? I don't think Putin believed that one.

After all these years I admit I still don't know much about Putin except that he is a ruthless dictator and that deliberately provoking him is not a good idea. But I do believe I know all I need to know about Biden.

[NewsFrontInfo] 21:43 The Ukrainian military were ready to blow up tanks with chemicals at Azot in Severodonetsk. On the territory of the enterprise they find a large amount of explosives ready for use, as well as gas masks and chemical protection.

21:43 The remains of 172 Ukrainian servicemen were found on the territory of Azovstal. The remains of 52 of them were exhumed, according to the Prosecutor General's Office of the DPR

21:43 The territory of the LPR is 98 percent liberated, Severodonetsk and its environs are under the full control of the allied forces - representative of the People's Militia of the Republic Andrei Marochko

21:43 Refugees from the LPR, DPR and Ukraine will be able to exchange their driver's licenses for Russian ones without passing exams - a decree of the government of the Russian Federation.

20:39 Enterprises in Kremennaya APU destroyed intentionally. The second city-forming enterprise in Kremennaya is being destroyed even after three months of liberation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. First, they made the location of personnel and ammunition there, and after the retreat, the Kyiv neo-Nazis hit him with artillery. There are no explanations other than barbarism.

20:38 The air defense system shot down a Ukrainian drone over Stakhanov, according to Izvestia correspondent Denis Kulaga.

19:50 Shelling was recorded from the side of the VFU in the direction:

    — n.p. Novopokrovskoye - n.p. Novobakhmutovka: four shells of 152mm caliber were fired.

19:45 AFU attacked Yasinovataya,School No. 24 is on fire

19:30 According to the official representative of the NM DPR: the Ukrainian side continues to terrorize the civilian population of the Republic, inflicting massive artillery strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure, which in turn do not pose a danger to the enemy and are not military targets.

So, since the beginning of the current day, according to information from the DPR JCCC, the enemy fired more than a hundred shells from BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems, 152mm and 122mm cannon artillery, as well as 120mm mortars.

The fire was fired at the areas of nine settlements of the Republic. As a result of shelling, two civilians were killed and eight were injured, of which one child was born in 2007. Four residential buildings and seven civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.

As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, twenty-seven transformer substations were de-energized, and 4,500 subscribers were left without power supply. Additional information about the injured civilians and damage to infrastructure is being specified.

During the current day, the joint actions of the military personnel of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the following enemy weapons and military equipment: one installation of the BM-21 Grad MLRS, one Fury UAV and two armored vehicles. Two enemy firing points were suppressed in the areas of the settlement. Avdievka and Novomikhailovka.

In addition, we inform you that while performing military duty in the struggle for independence, five defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic were injured.

19:29 The Russian military liberated Severodonetsk and entered Lisichansk.

Details of the operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the armies of Donbass according to the map of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

    - The Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost all supply lines and are blocked in Lisichansk.
    - Up to 8,000 Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries were surrounded.
-Our troops cleared the "cauldron" with a powerful fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Gorsky and Zolote.
-At units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are trying to get out of the encirclement, massive air strikes and artillery of the RF Armed Forces are inflicted.
-At the same time, the "grinding" of the Ukrainian defense in the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration is going on.
-The next goal of the RF Armed Forces and the armies of Donbass is Artyomovsk and Soledar - the southeastern gates to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

18:29 The headquarters of the DPR TerO reports: as a result of today's shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR, two people were killed and 12 civilians were injured.

18:17 A direct hit by a Ukrainian shell damaged the roof of kindergarten No. 77 "Solnyshko", located on the street. Zagorodnaya, 1a. According to preliminary data, in an apartment building on the street. Hospital 27, st. Chopin, 11, as well as in the area of the local market on the street. Hospital residents watch the smoke.

18:17 Shelling from the side of the VFU was recorded in the following directions:

    — n.p. Wedge - n.p. Golmovsky: 20 missiles were fired from the BM-21 Grad;
n.p. Novomikhailovka - n.p. Dokuchaevsk: eight shells of 152mm caliber were fired.

18:14 Shelling was recorded from the side of the armed formations of Ukraine: 16.00 from the direction of the Uglegorskaya TPP along the settlement Svetlodarsk (DPR) using an SPG-9 recoilless rifle (four rounds). Representation of the LPR in the JCCC.

17:58 Consequences of the shelling of Makiivka. Neighborhood Gvardeyka. two people died, three were injured.

17:52 As a result of today's shelling of the VFU in Yasinovataya, the number of wounded has increased to six people.

17:50 Weekly report of the "Military Chronicle" about the events on the front line.

After pinning down the AFU grouping in the Zoloto-Gorsk cauldron and ousting the Ukrainian formations from the Volcheyarovsky fortified area, the units of the Toshkovo and Popasnyanskaya groupings of the allied forces managed to establish fire control over the key Lisichansk-Seversk highway, as well as over numerous field loopholes for the retreat of the APU from the Lisichansky semi-boiler.

Only a few units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and some foreign contingents (including British, French and Belgian mercenaries) managed in a chaotic manner through the fields and dirt paths to overcome the closing neck of the Lisichansky pocket and retreat to the areas of the Seversky and Artyomovsk fortified areas.

Units of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 112th BrTrO (terodefense brigade), Aidar and Donbass battalions remained in Lisichansk.

In the last 24 hours, groups of militants from Azot broke through to them across the Seversky Donets River. The divisions dispersed in the urban development of the pitted city, as well as on Belaya Gora and a number of dominant heights near Maloryazantsev.

They deployed mortar and anti-tank crews at the firing positions of the Lisichansk glass factory and the rubber products factory, as well as near the waste heap of the OGPU mine and in the Lisichansk "grand canyon" - as the locals call the recently closed illegal coal pit. Such fortifications will allow Ukrainian formations to resist for another one and a half to two weeks.

It is also important that the concentration of the Popasnyanskaya and Toshkovskaya groupings of the united allied forces in the Lisichansk direction, most likely, will not allow in the near future to free up resources to intensify offensive operations on the most powerful network of more than ten fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the tactical square Artyomovsk-Seversk-Slavyansk-Kramatorsk.

This, unfortunately, gives time for additional fortification of the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine both in the cities listed above and in the settlements of Krasnaya Gora, Soledar, Druzhkovka and Chasov Yar, where the refractory plant is located.

    SLAVIC DIRECTION

In the Slavyansk direction, one can observe a noticeable increase in the counter-battery response to the firing positions of British-made M777A2 howitzers and rocket artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the corps artillery deployed near Svyatogorsk, south of Izyum and near Liman.

But there are no noticeable offensive actions on our part here, since a number of firing positions of the Stugna-P, Javelin and Konkurs anti-tank systems are deployed on two dominant heights near the village of Donetsk and in the greenery of the Svyatye Gory natural park, as well as anti-tank guns 2A29 "Rapier" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which prevent our units from building pontoon crossings across the Seversky Donets and further advance towards Slavyansk.

Apparently, the accelerated establishment of control over the Artemovsk-Seversk-Slavyansk-Kramatorsk square can only be carried out through active offensive operations by the Izyum group of allied forces through the settlements of Aleksandrovka, Dobropolye and Pokrovsk (bypassing the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk agglomeration) with the closure of the neck of the boiler in the area Dzerzhinsk.

17:41 According to operational data, as a result of the shelling of the VFU in the village of Golmovsky at the address: Bolnichnaya St., 14, an elderly civilian of 62 years old was wounded.

17:39 According to updated data, as a result of yesterday's (06/26/2022) shelling of the VFU, the village of Golmovsky, a civilian resident of the village, 28 years old, received a shrapnel wound and concussion.

16:54 DPR Foreign Minister Natalya Nikonorova made a number of important statements:

    -Negotiations on the recognition of the DPR are underway with some countries;
    -Some states have already shown interest in the impending tribunal in the DNR over Ukrainian war criminals;
    - Relatives of a mercenary from Morocco, convicted in the DPR, contacted his lawyer and requested the opportunity to communicate;
    - The authorities of the DPR did not receive from the convicted mercenaries either an appeal or a request for pardon.

16:42 Troops of the LPR and Russia have entered Lisichansk with fighting and can completely liberate the city from the Nazis by the end of this week, - Vitaly Kiselev, assistant to the head of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs.

16:29 AFU retreat from Lisichansk and Bakhmut (Artemovsk). "Come and See" established the fate of specific units.

According to "Come and See", the remnants of two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being withdrawn from Bakhmut (Artemovsk), and parts of the National Guard are also being withdrawn from Lisichansk.

"One of the retreating was the 26th Artillery Brigade, which suffered heavy losses and went to restore combat capability. Another brigade, the 72nd Brigade, entered the city, ”said the source of the channel.

According to him, in Bakhmut we are talking about the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. After fortifying the city and preparing it for street fighting, fresh forces were brought to Bakhmut, the composition of which we are now establishing.

16:27 Child wounded in Yasinovataya as a result of Ukrainian shelling

16:13 Shelling was recorded from the side of the VFU in the direction:

    — n.p. Avdievka - n.p. Yasinovataya: three shells of 122mm caliber were fired.

14:49 Georgian mercenaries who tortured Russian military were destroyed in Ukraine

Yesterday, during the fighting, three km from the Lisichansk Oil Refinery, Russian units destroyed two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of mercenaries (a total of 14 militants) - the first consisted of citizens of European countries, the second included only mercenaries from Georgia who were part of the "Georgian Legion", the Ministry of Defense reports .

Destroyed Georgian militants are involved in the brutal torture and killings of Russian servicemen near Kyiv in March, the ministry said.

"The Russian Defense Ministry has information on every mercenary involved in the abuse and murder of our servicemen. We found them and punished them," the department stressed.

14:47 The head of the administration of Donetsk, Aleksey Kulemzin, reports:

According to updated information, as a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district, the following were damaged:

    - st. Katovitskaya, 74 - facade and glazing of the Privolye store;
    — Rodnikovaya st., 1a — glazing of the building on the territory of the republican rehabilitation center of the Ministry of Health of the DPR;
    - st. Znamenskaya, 2a - the roof of the box building of the Petrovsky Eastern District of the Distribution Zone.

14:27 Shelling was recorded from the side of the VFU in the direction:

    — n.p. Zaitsevo - n.p. Dolomite: fired five shells with a caliber of 152mm.

14:15 The situation in the Severodonetsko-Lysichansk direction as of 14.00 June 27, 2022:

The allied forces of the RF Armed Forces, the NM of the LPR and the DPR, as well as volunteer formations are developing an offensive in order to encircle the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk enemy grouping.

Units of the Ukrainian 25th Airborne Brigade attempted a counterattack on Volcheyarovka in order to prevent the closing of the encirclement north of the village. The attack was repulsed: fighting continues in Maloryazantsevo north of Volcheyarovka.

Assault units of the RF Armed Forces, with the support of army aviation, broke through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Volcheyarovka and occupied part of the territory of the Lisichansk Oil Refinery. Fighting is taking place in the western part of the refinery and the village of Verkhnekamenka with units of the 25th Brigade, 24th Brigade and 17th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The fighting in Maloryazantsevo and at the oil refinery actually means the narrowing of the encirclement around the Severodonetsk-Lisichanskaya group. It is now possible to leave the outlined cauldron along the only remaining road along the banks of the Seversky Donets through Belogorovka, which is under the fire control of the RF Armed Forces.

World's Ugliest Dog of 2022 winner: Meet Mr. Happy Face, a 17-year-old stunner
[NYPOST] A bald-bodied, 17-year-old Chinese crested-Chihuahua mix named Mr. Happy Face scored points for mutts who are ruff on the eyes after winning the 2022 World’s Ugliest Dog Contest Saturday in Petaluma, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,.

His human, Janeda Banelly, said the title was a well-deserved honor for the senior canine with a signature silver tuft and an askew tongue.

"I believe that this humble soul is also being an example, in subtle ways, to help humans realize that even old dogs need love and a family too," Banelly, who adopted Mr. Happy Face from an Arizona shelter in 2021, told "Today."

The win garnered the Flagstaff, Arizona, native $1,500 and an appearance on the aforementioned show with her mirror-shattering mutt.

Mr. Happy Face beat out eight other contenders, including a canine that resembled a mandrill baboon and a "hairless mutant" with a Picasso-esque face. He also took top honors over a Pekingese named Wild Thang that evoked the fictional Tribble species from "Star Trek."

    Eastern cities under heavy bombardment

Russian officials have said their forces are fighting for the "complete liberation" of the Donbas, which broadly refers to Ukraine's eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, where Russian-backed separatists held significant territory before the invasion.

[NYPOST] Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The very model of propity....
inadvertently financed his son Hunter’s dalliances with a Russia-linked escort ring, according to a report Monday.

President Biden wired his 52-year-old son $100,000 to help him pay bills from December 2018 through January 2019, the Washington Examiner reported, citing records from a laptop Hunter Biden left behind at a computer repair shop in Delaware.
The was for the nose candy. The whores were billed separately.
Hunter Biden, meanwhile, had spent more than $30,000 on hookers prostitutes sex workers
...the oldest profession was legal (though not always unregulated) for thousands and perhaps even millions of years. That never has made it something most people want their daughters doing...
between November 2018 and March 2019, records show — including many linked to Russia-based email addresses and connected to an "exclusive model agency" called UberGFE, the outlet reported.

Sudan will summon back its ambassador to Addis Ababa immediately for consultations following the killing of seven Sudanese soldiers who were being held captive by the Ethiopian military

Sudan will summon back its ambassador to Addis Ababa immediately for consultations following the killing of seven Sudanese soldiers who were being held captive by the Æthiopian military, the foreign ministry said on Monday.

The ministry will also summon the Æthiopian ambassador to Khartoum on Monday to directly condemn the killing, it added.

The Sudanese armed forces said in a statement late Sunday :"In an act that contravenes all laws and customs of war and international humanitarian law, the Æthiopian army executed seven Sudanese soldiers and a citizen who were their captives."

Sudanese leader warns of tangible response to execution of Sudanese military

[REGNUM] The Sudanese authorities will give a tangible response to the execution of Sudanese soldiers after a clash on the border with Ethiopia. This was stated by the head of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan Abdel Fattah al-Burhan , the press service of the Sudanese army reported.

He also promised that Khartoum would not allow such events in the future, as well as any encroachment on its territory.

Earlier, the Sudanese Ministry of Defense announced the execution of seven Sudanese soldiers who were captured by the Sudanese side after the conflict on the border between the two states.
    Garowe adds:
Tensions between Sudan and Ethiopia have run high in recent years because of a spillover of the conflict in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region and Ethiopia's construction of a giant hydropower dam on the Blue Nile.

Tens of thousands of refugees have fled into eastern Sudan and there have been military skirmishes in an area of contested farmland along the border between Sudan and Ethiopia.

Russian forces enter the Lisichansk refinery
Direct Translation via Google Translate Edited.
[RIA Novosti] The allied forces of Russia and the Lugansk People's Republic entered the territory of the Lisichansk oil refinery from the east, LPR Ambassador Rodion Miroshnik said on his Telegram channel.

"From the eastern side, the allied forces also entered the territory of the Linik refinery and continue to squeeze the militants out of the territory of the enterprise," Miroshnik wrote.

He added that Ukrainian units still "continue to be at the refinery."

Remains of 172 Ukrainian soldiers found in Azovstal

[RIA Novosti] The remains of 172 Ukrainian servicemen were exhumed on the territory of the Azovstal plant, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Donetsk People's Republic reported on its Telegram channel.

"Investigators of the General Prosecutor's Office of the DPR , together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR, continue to work on examining the territory of Mariupol , including the Azovstal plant," the statement said.

According to the agency, on May 20, 2022, the remains of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers buried during the active phase of the liberation of the city were also exhumed in the Petrovsky Park.

It is noted that the investigators of the prosecutor's office, together with colleagues from the Investigative Committee of Russia, found on the spot lists with the data of the buried, which made it possible to identify them.
At the end of May, the Russian army and units of the DPR liberated the last line of defense of Ukrainian troops in Mariupol - the territory of the Azovstal plant.

In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, since May 16, more than 2,400 militants from the nationalist Azov battalion (against whose militants criminal cases have been initiated in Russia) and Ukrainian soldiers have laid down their arms and surrendered.

Multiple deaths after Amtrak train derails in Missouri
[CBS] At least three people were killed Monday after an Amtrak train hit a dump truck and derailed in Missouri, officials said. It's not yet clear how many were injured, though at least two hospitals said they had received patients.

Officials said Southwest Chief Train 4, which was carrying 207 passengers and additional crew members from Los Angeles to Chicago, hit a truck near Mendon, Missouri, at approximately 12:43 p.m. local time. An official from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crossing was "uncontrolled" and had no lights or crossing rails, which is common in more rural areas.

Seven of the train's eight cars derailed, Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal Justin Dunn said at a press conference.

Atlanta Subway worker shot dead for putting too much mayo on sandwich
[NYPOST] A Subway worker in Atlanta was rubbed out and another was injured after an angry customer opened fire because they put too much mayonnaise on his sandwich, police said.

The shooting erupted at the Subway in a downtown Atlanta gas station at about 6.30 p.m. Sunday after the customer became irate over his order, police said.

The store’s owner, Willie Glenn, told FOX5 that mayo was to blame for the deadly argument.

"Believe it or not, it was about too much mayonnaise on his sandwich," Glenn said. "He decided to escalate the situation and from there that’s when all hell broke loose."
"The amount of condiments wassa disrespectin' me!"
The manager on duty was able to return fire but didn’t strike the gunman, Glenn added.

Police said they are still searching for the suspect and are reviewing surveillance footage to try to track him down.

The employee who was injured, a woman, had to be rushed to a hospital for surgery, according to the owner and police.

Glenn said the son of the woman was also inside the store at the time.
