#8 The elections were likely rigged but I'll wager he won all three without the net. Venezuelans are big on gimme, and Hugo came along at the right time (oil prices) with enough gimmes. Course now chicken and fresh milk seem to have disappeared off the foodmart shelves. Course if you can find milk or chicken at the Mercals it's at a really, really good price.
