Lafayette Square ought to be wired for farking SOUND in term of cameras and detection gear. You should be able to see everything there from a dozen different angles.

Now, I can believe that a lone nut tried to pull something stupid...but my Dad always used to say, "Trust anybody you want - but always cut the cards." I wanna see the footage of the bust, arrest, and search.

Oh, and what was literally an attempt on Brandon's life is now defacing property.

Makes me want to add weight to the tin-foils who proposed that he was supposed to be in a truck with malicious cargo, and whatever reason that was fudged.

A government prosecutor told the court that Kandula is not a citizen or lawful permanent resident.

But later on Wednesday, a Department of Justice official clarified the open-court remarks and said Kandula does hold a green card for lawful, permanent U.S. residency.

The suspect's national origin wasn't mentioned in court.

A college student who was on the same high school track team with Kandula told NBC News on Tuesday that they're both members of the sizable Indian American community in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Mr. Kandula’s family is Indian, though whether they came directly from SE India has not been mentioned, as far as I am aware
