Trump suspended assistance and took troops out, but Bidet reversed that:

"In May 2022, the Biden administration elected to reverse Trump’s withdrawal and
re-introduced U.S. forces into Somalia on a more persistent basis."

Pointless but profitable, the MIC strategy for much of the world where
US troops are "defending America"!
