#1 As usual, the standoffish Clarke doesn't explain the rise in attacks. Every poll of Muslims reveals belief that the US and its allies are attacking Islam. That is: MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT WORLD WAR 3 IS ON. And I agree: let's engage the mortal Muslim enemy on a global scale and crush Islamofascist scum and put Islamic practice under Secular constraints, and do so by any necessary means.

Muslims are at terror war, and we are offering them onetime participation in inclusivist pseudo-democratic schemes that they do not want, while waging civil policing farces in the guise of war. Until the Islamofascist clerics and their flunkees - including the entire leadership of AMC, CAIR , ICNA, ISNA, MCB (UK), etc - are liquidated, the counter-terror campaign will be nothing but a wheel spinning neverendum. Clarke set the stage for this farce by facilitating the escape of the bin Laden family from the US on Sept. 14, 2001 (no, I do not subscribe to Michael Moore's fictions about the escape).

The enemy is: ISLAMOFASCISTS. Start the slaughter.

IMO..Those are strong words for Tommy Franks, by nature and upbring he gives credit and shares credit with others offen when warrented, and does not engage in petty character nonsense.
