#1 The AU liked Uncle Muammar, whom AFAIK suppor the concepts of "Africans for Africans" + stable national Govts.

IMO, the AU is interpreting the chaos in Libya + the seeming end of the Gaddafi regime as a boon to AFRICA-WIDE, PROB ISLAMIST/RADICAL MUSLIM-LED MILITANT + TERROR GROUPS.

THE AU NOW FEARS THE RISE + SPREAD OF JIHAD = ETHNO-RELIGIOUS INSURGENCY, MILITANCY + TERROR, ETC, THROUGHOUT AFRICA.

* CHINA DAILY FORUM > [BBC] REPORT:QADDAFI OFFERED POWER TRANSFER TO REBELS, BUT IS REJECTED, by the [MilTerr-supported]Libyan Rebels whom demand that Qaddafi first surrender.

IMO read, FOR TIME BEING = UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE???

The AU repor still believes in its pre-Tripoli "Road Map" in support of all-Libyuh "Inclusive Govt.".
