#6 Mr Hawking, your theology degree -- or philosophy degree, or some sort of proof that you are qualified to give an expert opinion on anything other than physics? Expertise in one field does not translate to another field (c.f. Chomsky, and almost any Nobel laureate in economics). And the deeper the expertise, the more narrow its range. Its quite simply one of the more common logical fallacies out there: argumentum Ad Verecundiam, appeal to false authority.

I believe that the ancient Jews saw this argument, and handled it already: Psalm 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God."
