I doubt anyone was killed. The photos I saw appeared to be staged, similar to what the Syrian "White Helmets" did a few years back.

But then, we can't know the whole story given that western media only follows the Ukrainian version of events, given the Russian defense ministry website is blocked.

#6 No decent human ever should and why has Rantburg felt the need to give a tyrant's side of an international war effort?

They are no less an invader and mass murderer than their CCCP heirs were when they invaded Afghanistan in 1979.

I know why the fringe right is pro Russian, it would be good for the onwership of Rantburg to explain why they are in Putin's pr pocket like Tucker Carlson is.

#19 I post summaries from the Russians and the Ukrainians, as well as from the breakaway republics. As to the rest, the great lion's share of information about the war is sourced from the Ukrainian ministry of defense.

The balance between the two sides is roughly six to one in favor of the Ukrainians. I don't begrudge the Ukrainian side their advantage in information, why should you begrudge the Russians their side?

I can't believe I am having to defend a position I have stated. Repeatedly:

Both sides will be presented, regardless.
