My understanding is that - as a rule of thumb - the great American fortunes have lasted just about three generations, one notable exception being the Rockefellers.

Today's wealthy are hoarding away the vast majority of the money created by our incredible culture, locking it away so we can't get to it. Our wages haven't gone up since 1971.
