Russian nationalist politician Vladimir Zhirinovskiy dead at 75
April 6 (Reuters) - Russian far-right politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, known for provocative stunts and anti-Western tirades that kept him in the public eye for more than three decades, has died after a long and serious illness, the speaker of parliament said on Wednesday.
So sez the far left Reuters
Zhirinovsky, 75, was admitted to hospital earlier this year after contracting COVID-19, according to Russian media.

He was known for outrageous and headline-grabbing statements, including threats to launch nuclear weapons against various countries, seize Alaska from the United States, and expand Russia's frontiers to the point where its soldiers could "wash their boots in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean".

Walt Disney's Great-Niece Abigail Disney Goes on Unhinged Rant About 'Right Wing Nonsense'
[PJ] Back in 2014, I introduced you to Abigail Disney, the granddaughter of Walt Disney’s brother and business partner Roy. When we first met her, the heiress, documentarian, and far-left activist was biting the hand that feeds her by doubling down on the patently false smears that the left has aimed against Walt for generations in their attempts to paint him as sexist, racist, and antisemitic.

On Friday, Abigail Disney went on an unhinged rant on Twitter. The rant wasn’t aimed so much at DeSantis and Florida’s Republicans or in support of Disney’s extreme woke turn, but against "right wing nonsense" and the business world.

And as best I can tell, it wasn’t an April Fool’s Day joke.

My understanding is that - as a rule of thumb - the great American fortunes have lasted just about three generations, one notable exception being the Rockefellers.

Twitter Employees Express Their Unhappiness About Musk Being the Largest Shareholder
[Red State] As the western world celebrates Tesla CEO Elon Musk becoming the largest shareholder in the online "de-facto public square," some of the employees at Twitter aren’t at all pleased about the development.

And no wonder. Twitter is something of a hard-left cesspool encased in an ideological bubble so thick that they seem to think death threats against anyone to the right of Marx is a-okay. They’re especially okay if they disagree with the mainstream transgender narrative and will only react if a large enough person brings the issue to the public’s attention.

Andy Ngo went through and documented some of the reactions from Twitter employees as they learned about Musk’s controlling shares and they’re exactly what you’d think they are.

One "data scientist" on Twitter describing himself as a "Feminist Demisexual Genderqueer Trans Woman," said he was "terrified" while a Senior Software Engineer said he worried about the "company culture" at Twitter.

Zelenskyy says Russian forces are using 'hunger as their weapon' by besieging cities and blocking food deliveries
[Insider] Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of using "hunger as their weapon" by blocking deliveries of food and aid both to Ukrainian citizens and to other countries.

Zelenskyy addressed Ireland's parliament on Wednesday, where he said Russia had been blocking Ukraine's ports, stopping supplies from being brought in and out.

"In addition, Russia has blocked all our seaports, along with those vessels that have already been loaded with agricultural goods for export.

Zelenskyy also singled out the strategic port city of Mariupol, in southern Ukraine, which has been encircled by Russian troops for weeks.

"Russia has been using hunger against our people since the first days of the war. The worst is in Mariupol. This half-million city was completely blocked by Russian troops more than a month ago. They blocked access from both land and sea. Any access," he said.

"They are blocking humanitarian goods, do not allow to bring anything — food, water, medicine. When there was snow, people could melt at least the snow to get water, but now there is none."

"Why are they doing this? Because they also consider hunger as their weapon. Weapon against us, ordinary people. As a tool to dominate."

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: April 4th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 20:44 The Czech Republic handed over dozens of Soviet T-72 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

20:41 The total wealth of the ten richest Russian billionaires has decreased by $90 billion compared to last year.

20:37 In Russia, the standard of living has risen to such heights that the federal publication Moskovsky Komsomolets tells how to cook a casserole from leftovers.

20:34 Head of the Central Command Post of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Mikhail Mizintsev confirmed that the invaders killed 93 men in civilian clothes during the humanitarian corridors leaving Mariupol.

"Over the past two days, part of the militants, numbering from 150 to 200 people, using humanitarian corridors, dressed in civilian clothes, deserted from the city. And in scattered groups of 10-15 people moved to the Zaporozhye region along country roads. Overnight, 93 of them were liquidated , the location of the rest has been established. The question of their destruction is a matter of a short time," he said.

20:26 The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that "taking into account Kiev's disinterest in saving the lives of its servicemen, Mariupol will be liberated from the nationalists by the RF Armed Forces and the DPR."

20:07 "There is almost no city," says Aleksey Kuleba, head of the OVA's humanitarian direction, about Borodyanka. The city is now closed - rescuers and law enforcement officers are working there.

Earlier, Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova said that the worst situation with victims among all the liberated settlements of the Kiev region is in Borodyanka.

20:04 Russian troops are preparing to surrender Kherson, Arestovich said.

19:58 The American television channel NBC News reports that the new US sanctions will include a complete ban on new investments in the Russian Federation.

19:51 Russia deliberately disrupts oil supplies from Kazakhstan to the EU under the pretext of a storm in the port of Novorossiysk, writes the German edition Handelsblatt.

Purpose: to keep prices in Europe at a high level and thereby undermine the economy of the EU, which announced sanctions against the Russian Federation because of the war in Ukraine.

We are talking about the infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, headquartered in Moscow.

"The pipeline passes through Russia and Russian firms dominate the consortium, but the oil in the pipeline is owned mainly by western firms such as Chevron, Shell and Eni, which are involved in oil production in Kazakhstan," the paper said.

In addition, Moscow shows its power to Kazakhstan. Handelsblatt's conclusion: "The example of Kazakhstan shows the tactics that Russia resorts to outside the actual theater of operations in Ukraine."

19:44 Speaking at a virtual press briefing, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights spokesperson Liz Trussell expressed the UN's horror at the photos.

"What we saw in Bucha and other areas clearly points to very disturbing events. The brutality, the attacks on civilians really underline that it is so disturbing. Looking at the video and footage from there, we see all the signs that the victims were direct targets and directly killed," Trussell said.

19:42 China's envoy to the UN Zhang Jun said that "any accusations about the events in Bucha must be confirmed by facts."

19:37 Stoltenberg said that after the regrouping, Russia will focus its strike on the east and south of Ukraine.

19:21 The Ministry of Economy of Germany announced that Germany approved the supply of arms and military goods to Ukraine in the amount of more than 186 million euros.

19:15 The command of the RF Armed Forces is trying to make up for the loss of personnel in the war in Ukraine by attracting representatives of military educational institutions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

19:06 The likelihood of conflict between the big powers is increasing, said the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley.

The general says Russia's nuclear rhetoric has become "very provocative."

"We are entering a world that is becoming increasingly unstable, and the likelihood of a major international conflict between the big powers is increasing, not decreasing," Milley said.

19:01 Countries that have already recalled Russian diplomats:

🇱🇹Lithuania - the ambassador leaves the country, the consulate in Klaipeda closes

🇪🇺 The European Union declared 19 employees of the Russian Permanent Mission to the EU persona non grata
18:40 Zelensky showed at a meeting of the UN Security Council a video of civilians who died at the hands of the occupiers.

18:29 Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt said that she and other foreign ministers of the Scandinavian countries are considering the possibility of traveling to Kiev to meet with Vladimir Zelensky.

18:26 NATO will provide Ukraine with weapons to protect against a new offensive by the Russian army, which is expected in the coming weeks, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels.

He stressed that the Alliance will provide Ukraine with equipment that will effectively deter the advance of Russian forces.

Stoltenberg explained the decision to provide weapons for protection with intelligence and surveillance data confirming that Russian troops are regrouping, replenishing personnel and providing their units and equipment with resources for a new large-scale offensive in the Donbass.

“We are seeing a significant movement of Russian troops from Kyiv to regroup, rearm, supply and shift focus to the east. In the coming weeks, we expect further Russian offensives in eastern and southern Ukraine to try to capture the entire Donbass and create a land bridge to occupied Crimea,” he said. Stoltenberg.

18:17 In the once 30,000-strong Bucha, only 3,700 people remained after the liberation. This was stated by the mayor Anatoly Fedoruk.

18:10 Transcript of Zelensky's speech at the UN Security Council:

There is not a single crime in Bucha that they would not have committed. They killed entire families - adults and children, tried to burn people.

Some were shot in the streets, some were killed in houses, they were run over by tanks while they were in a car, women were raped and killed in front of their children.

They leave the country in ruins.

The aggressor provoked a food crisis that could lead to famine in Africa and Asia and political chaos in countries that are facing the fact that their security system is disappearing.

The world saw what happened in Bucha, the world will have to see what they did in other cities and regions of the country.

You know what the Russian Federation will say to such actions. After they shot down a Boeing over the Donbass, what they said in Syria - they refer to a variety of versions of what happened, they even declare that these are all staged shots.

The goal of the UN is to keep the peace, to prevent violations. But the first article of the statute has already been violated. If the first article is violated, what is the point of the other articles? Now the result of the actions of the Russian Federation-the most horrific crimes of all time.

The Russian leadership behaves like a colonialist in ancient times - they intend to turn Ukrainians into silent slaves, rob villages, steal food, rip gold earrings out of their ears, use a veto in the Security Council. We must not allow this to go unpunished.

If the situation continues, then countries will rely only on the force of arms to ensure their security, the UN can simply be closed.

Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to close the UN? If not, you need to act immediately. We need to reform so that the right to veto is not the right to die.

All who give criminal orders will face a tribunal, probably the same as the Nuremberg.

Now the main thing is to transform the UN system. I propose to hold a conference in Kyiv and discuss how to reform the security system in the world, how to reinforce international law.

At the conference, we will talk about how to guarantee the borders and inviolability of states, how to reinforce international law.

But if you do not know how to make a decision, you have 2 ways - either eliminate Russia as a source of war, so that Russia does not block decisions related to its own aggression, and then we will do everything to establish peace. The second option is to eliminate yourself. If you are not capable of anything other than talking, then there is no other option left. Ukraine needs peace, Europe needs peace, the whole world needs peace.

18:02 Mayor of Kherson Igor Kolykhaev reports that the Russian military has completely leaked the database of all activists in Kherson, participants in the territorial defense and anti-terrorist operation: "They know about everyone from beginning to end."

18:00 95 percent of Ukrainians are confident that Ukraine will win the war, but the number of those who do not believe in an early cessation of hostilities is growing, according to a survey by the Rating sociological group.

Confidence in a quick victory "in a few weeks" decreased from 47 percent to 35. On the other hand, the positions "several months" and "six months to a year" increased.

17:51 Zelensky speaks at a meeting of the UN Security Council, gathered about the atrocities of the Russian occupiers in Bucha.

17:46 Financial Times writes that Biden will soon announce plans for the US, UK and Australia to jointly create hypersonic weapons.

17:41 Bloomberg reports that the United States will transfer Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones to Ukraine among ten units. We are talking about a drone that is equipped with sensors and video cameras, and is also capable of automatically hitting a target.

The new weapons will be supplied to Ukraine as part of military assistance from the Pentagon in the amount of $300 million. The new model drones will be provided in addition to 100 Switchblade-300 drones as part of an $800 million US military aid that was announced earlier.

17:27 The UN Security Council is holding a meeting on the crimes of the invaders in Bucha.

Britain, which chairs the UN Security Council, convened a meeting on April 5 to discuss the massacres in the suburbs of Kyiv.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council, an increase in the amount of evidence of war crimes, including from Bucha, will be discussed. In Britain, they promise to use the country's chairmanship of the Security Council to ensure transparency, accountability and fairness.

"All partners of Ukraine will be informed in detail about what happened in the temporarily occupied territory of our state. War crimes in Bucha and other cities during the Russian occupation will also be the subject of consideration in the UN Security Council on Tuesday," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Zelensky’s speech was also announced during a meeting of the UN Security Council on April 5 on the atrocities of the Russian occupiers in Bucha.

17:24 Joining the EU is supported by 91 percent of Ukrainians, according to the sociological group Rating.

17:17 Stoltenberg: "Russia is responsible for what happened in Bucha. When this happened, it was she who controlled this territory. This is a war crime, but I think we have not seen everything yet. When the territories come under the control of Ukraine, we will see even more evidence of war crimes.

16:45 The speaker of the Kharkiv military administration, Elena Shapoval, said that there are no plans to evacuate the population in Kharkiv. Confident in the strength of the defense:

"The hostilities have been going on for 41 days. We all understand that the enemy did not change plans for Kharkov. The only thing that has changed is the strength of our defense, it has grown significantly. The invaders can neither take Kharkov nor approach it. Therefore, evacuation measures in Kharkov we don't do it."

16:21 The first official details of the new EU sanctions were called by Ursula von der Leyen:

Russian coal import ban (was four billion euros per year)
Bans on imports from Russia for 5.5 billion euros (caviar, alcohol, wood, cement, chemical products, ...)
Complete ban on transactions of four key Russian banks, including VTB
Banning Russian ships from entering EU ports
Ban on work in the EU for transport companies from Russia and Belarus
Ban on the export to Russia of semiconductors and engineering products, including transport, for ten billion euros
The EU will continue to work on sanctions against Russian oil
16:05 German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said that in the warehouses of the Bundeswehr (the armed forces of Germany) there are hardly weapons left that can be supplied to Ukraine. Moreover, the issues with logistics, repair and training are complicated when it comes to the supply of old systems.

At the same time, Burbock noted that the final decision will be agreed at the level of partners in the European Union, NATO and the G7: "We are not saying no, we are looking at what solutions can be, and we are doing this together, as the EU, NATO and G7 Partners".

15:49 Over the month, support for joining NATO among Ukrainians has decreased from 76 percent to 68 percent.

15:15 The Ukrainian military shot down the latest Russian helicopter Ka-52 with the help of anti-tank Stugna.

14:51 Finnish Economy Minister Mika Lintilä expects the European Union to impose the first energy sanctions against Russia on Wednesday. A ban on oil imports would be the minimum requirement, he said.

According to Lintil, the replacement of Russian oil does not pose much of a problem, since it can be imported from other countries. The war from Lintilya has gone so far that energy flows to Russia must be stopped, at least temporarily, at any cost, Lintilya believes.

"Russia needs to be isolated in terms of energy, because this is the only way to influence the Russian economy so much that it affects their actions. Now in Ukraine, fuel oil is turning into red blood," the Finnish publication Uutiset quotes the minister.

14:28 Borodyanka after the Russian occupation:

14:18 Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya unexpectedly told the truth at a meeting of the organization: "There were no corpses in Bucha before the arrival of Russian soldiers." But then he said "until they left."

14:15 Latvia closes the Russian Consulate General in Liepaja and Daugavpils and expels 13 Russian diplomats. Yesterday, the Latvian Foreign Ministry announced that their country is lowering the level of diplomatic relations with Russia.

14:01 Journalists showed the destroyed Mariupol from a drone.

12:49 Italy expels 30 Russian diplomats for reasons of national security, writes Reuters.

12:44 A resident of Moscow dared to protest against the genocide of Ukrainians.

12:43 79 percent of refugees plan to return to Ukraine after the end of the war. According to the UN, as of April 4, the number of Ukrainian refugees exceeded 4.2 million.

12:38 The EU will adopt a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation this Wednesday. This forecast was made by French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clement Bon.

According to him, the European Union should immediately deal with the import of Russian gas, oil and coal.

12:36 The journalist of the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza, the author of works on anti-Semitism and genocides Konstantin Gebert commented on the tragedy in Bucha.

“There was a time to hide and bury these bodies. The fact that this did not happen makes me assume that the Russians did it because they could. They showed it because they wanted to. So Russia wants Ukraine and the world to see these photos. Russia tells us that it is not at all interested in what we think of it," Gebert said on Polish Radio.

According to him, massacres of civilians in wartime are relatively rare. Most soldiers don't kill civilians, and most commanders don't let that happen.

The troops avoid such crimes for moral reasons, for fear of criminal liability, and also for fear that the soldiers will not become demoralized and turn into armed killers. However, things were different in Bucha.

Gebert believes that the brutality of the Russians could be designed to scare Ukrainian civilians. Because when the next Ukrainian city is besieged, the "Bucha effect" will lead to "a stampede of residents, which will interfere with the work of the Ukrainian defense."

However, such a goal of the Russian Federation seems incomprehensible to the journalist. "The tactical benefit that Russia can get from this is incomparably less than the gigantic image loss," he says.

When asked whether the Russian Federation would be held responsible for crimes in Ukraine, Gebert replied that the existing veto mechanisms make it possible to avoid this, but the investigation process will place a heavy burden on it.

12:33 The West is running out of ways to punish Putin. Under this heading, an article appeared on CNN.

"The expression of concern, new sanctions and cutting-edge weapons came too late to save a man found shot to death next to his bicycle," writes the author of the photos from Bucha that horrified the whole world, and compares what he saw with the atrocities committed by the Nazis in Ukraine during time of World War II.

The author points out: the tragedy in Bucha became a catalyst for the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation, but the tragedy lies in the fact that all of them cannot save civilians. He doubts there is a way to influence the "ruthless Russian leader" because he has long crossed the line.

The world's largest arsenal of nuclear warheads also allows him to remain unpunished.

12:31 Full-fledged transport links have been restored between Kyiv and Chernihiv

12:28 Before the "Russian world" invasion, Bucha was an ecologically clean garden city, part of the "green belt" of Kiev, located 29 kilometers from its center.

Once there were children's sanatoriums and dachas of Kiev residents, then, in the process of urbanization, new cozy residential complexes appeared in Bucha, where tens of thousands of young families settled.

The Buchansk city park was the best place for a family vacation for a huge number of Ukrainians.

12:26 Denmark expels 15 Russian diplomats over suspicions of espionage.

12:24 Roskomnadzor demanded that the administration of the Wikipedia online encyclopedia remove materials in which, according to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, "inaccurate information" about the war in Ukraine is being distributed.

The agency claims that the authors of Wikipedia deliberately misinform users in their materials, promoting "an exclusively anti-Russian interpretation of events."

The day before, Russian Wikipedia tweeted that Roskomnadzor was demanding the removal of information from five articles at once.

12:21 The KSCA reports that in Kiev and the suburbs, where the fighting was actively fought, the demining process is now underway. Kievans who left the city or region are still urged to refrain from returning.

The destruction of supplies will be carried out for two weeks and will be accompanied by the sounds of explosions of various sizes.

12:08 Zelensky does not consider it possible for Hungary to block Ukraine's entry into the European Union.

12:06 The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, will visit Kiev this week and meet with Zelensky, an EU representative said.

12:03 Occupants got into a tank with nitric acid in the Lugansk region.

11:59 Zelensky gave an interview to Ukrainian journalists. The main thing:

- On joining NATO: If tomorrow we are seriously offered, we will act. But this will not happen, unfortunately. Therefore, we will build security guarantees for us that can protect life.

- On security guarantees: Ukraine has not yet received a list of countries with their confirmed consent to provide security guarantees, but apparently different states are ready to provide different guarantees.

- On the agreements with Russia: Even if we sign the most powerful agreement, Russia may return in two years. We understand this, and if you and I accept this, then we act accordingly.

- About the meeting with Putin: It's easier to say - let's not talk about anything. The most difficult thing is to say what they did, recognize them as an enemy... And with this position, find opportunities to meet, find a way out and not lose your territory. But perhaps there will be no meeting with Putin.

- On punishment for Russian war criminals: We have an internal case against these criminals who tortured our people. We are starting to collect information and will look for these people. There are people who are very eager to find these criminals. If international legislation does not help us in this, Ukrainian law will.

- About "demilitarization" and "denazification": We told them that forget about "demilitarization" and "denazification", we won't even talk about it. "Denazification" we ourselves can demand from you, and "demilitarization" - we do not perceive this story.

- About Mariupol: The military de-occupation of Mariupol is now very difficult. And our children know this very well. There are agreements with Erdogan that the dead and wounded Ukrainian soldiers can be taken out of the city - by land to Berdyansk, and from there by sea. We are waiting for a response to this proposal from Putin.

- About what will be a victory: not to lose sovereignty, not to lose hundreds of thousands of people, postponing the issue of the return of Crimea, Donbass is our territory, Russia's return to positions as of February 23

11:57 The US Treasury prohibits Russia from making any payments on its debt obligations in dollars from accounts in American financial institutions.

"Today is the deadline for Russia to make another payment on its debt," said a US Treasury official. "Russia must choose between depleting its remaining dollar reserves, generating new revenue, or defaulting."

11:52 The sounds of explosions in the vicinity of Kiev are the work of pyrotechnicians.

11:48 Zelensky says that de-blockade of Mariupol by military means is now extremely difficult.

According to him, there are agreements with Erdogan that the dead and wounded Ukrainian soldiers can be taken out of the city - by land to Berdyansk, and from there by sea.

As Zelensky said, they are now waiting for a response on this proposal from Putin.

11:22 Zelensky said that the Ukrainian delegation will not negotiate with Russia about "denazification" and "demilitarization".

This is how he sees Ukraine's victory:

Don't lose sovereignty
Don't lose hundreds of thousands of people
Crimea is Ukrainian territory. There can only be a delay in the issue of the return of the peninsula
Donbass is our territory. ORDLO is very important for Ukraine
The return of Russian forces to positions as of February 23 will be considered a victory by the president
11:11 Even after the conclusion of the treaty, Russia can return in two years, the president said.

"We understand that even if we sign the most powerful agreement, Russia can return in two years. We just understand this, and if we accept this, then we will act accordingly," Zelensky said.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation conveyed to the Russian side that Ukraine does not trust Russian guarantees and will continue to build a state that will be able to defend itself.

11:06 The Ukrainian military shot down another Russian Caliber missile from a conventional artillery gun. This was reported in the Navy Armed Forces of Ukraine.

10:43 In the Kiev region, law enforcement officers recorded 1,200 war crimes committed by Russian invaders. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.

10:40 Russian troops have destroyed at least six granaries since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

10:36 Zelensky believes that even after the tragic events in Bucha, it is necessary to continue negotiations with the Russian Federation. However, he admits that there may not be a meeting between him and Putin.

"It's easy to say - let's not talk about anything today - the position is the easiest. The most difficult thing is to say what they did, recognize them as an enemy and at the same time find an opportunity to meet and find a way out at this meeting without losing their territory," the president said.

10:18 A cross-party group of US congressmen turned to Biden with a request to provide Ukraine with more weapons.

The letter outlines the specific needs of the Ukrainian armed forces and territorial defense units.

In particular, Ukraine is asking for long-range surface-to-air missiles, fighter jets, anti-ship weapons, Stinger anti-aircraft systems, Javelin anti-tank systems, long-range drones, and radars.

10:13 France expels 35 Russian diplomats.

9:57 In occupied Melitopol, men began to receive "summons". Citizens of Ukraine are called to serve in the "people's militia".

9:44 Many Russian units withdrawn from northern Ukraine are likely to require significant re-equipment and modernization before they can be redeployed to operations in eastern Ukraine," the British intelligence report said.

9:28 In the Lugansk region, which Russian troops are now actively trying to capture, there is a difficult humanitarian situation. Rescuers cannot reach a number of areas, and residents are burying their neighbors in their yards, local authorities said.

9:14 Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 165 children have died from the actions of the invaders.

8:54 The next target of Russian military aggression may be the city of Dnipro. This was announced by the former commander of NATO forces in Europe, Wesley Clark, on CNN.

"What's next: Russians north and south of the Dnieper. If they can reach the Dnieper, they will cut off the Ukrainian forces that are holding back the separatists in the Donbass. And this is the next Russian task: to surround these forces, cut them off, destroy them. This is a significant part Ukrainian army," the retired general said.

To prevent this from happening, Clark is calling for heavy weapons to be provided to Ukraine, not just Javelin anti-tank missiles and Stinger man-portable air defense systems.

8:08 In the Konotop district of the Sumy region, the bodies of three civilians were found with signs of torture.

7:39 a.m. Russia is reviewing its military objectives and is preparing for a new phase of the war that could last several months or longer, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said at a briefing.

According to him, the Russian Federation is regrouping its forces in order to focus offensive operations in the Donbas and parts of southern Ukraine.

7:36 The enemy is regrouping troops and is focusing its efforts on preparing for an offensive in eastern Ukraine. The goal of the invader is complete control over the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this in the morning report.

4:54 The Pentagon has promised to provide $300 million worth of requested drones, Javelin anti-tank missile systems and Stinger man-portable air defense systems to Ukraine.

2:23 The US authorities decided to sell eight F-16 Block 70 fighter jets to Bulgaria in order to increase the country's security against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, local media write.

Earlier there were proposals that the Bulgarian authorities could transfer their Su-25 and MiG-29 aircraft to the Ukrainian army if they receive fighter jets from the United States.

0:54 The New York Times published satellite images of Bucha, which show that bodies on the streets have been lying there since March 19, when the occupiers controlled the city.

#2  You keep your systems turned off. You allow other systems to acquire the flight profile information and pass it to the engagement system. You set your acquisition system to engage only to initiate fire at the optimal trade off point to lighting the target and launch, then shut down again. Do this with several launch systems and the suppression craft can't engage them all.

Or do like the North Vietnamese did during Line Backer faced with overwhelming SEAD, volley fire into a virtual box without guidance. You'll hit something and they did, however, by day three they were out of SAMs.

Ukrainian official calls for reprisals against civilians who collaborate with the Russian military
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[NewsFrontInfo] Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Gerashchenko, called for reprisals against civilians in the country who collaborated with the Russian military in the Kiev region, he announced this on social networks.

The Ukrainian official said that such reprisals should be started against those residents of the Kiev region who may be suspected of collaborating with the participants in the special operation.

He stressed that it is imperative to find and punish everyone who has somehow interacted with our soldiers, Readovka reports.

It is important to note that, according to Gerashchenko, neo-Nazis and members of the Bandera gangs can classify all Ukrainians as “collaborators”, who could only receive humanitarian aid from the hands of the Russian military in order not to starve to death. After such statements, residents of Ukraine in all regions are at risk.

Netherlands apologizes to Indonesia over war crimes

Prime Minister Mark Rutte has apologized to Indonesia after a study found that the Dutch army used extreme violence, including against civilians, during the archipelago nation's war of independence.

The study, which took more than four years to conclude, said sources showed that atrocities in the then Dutch East Indies were committed in a systematic way.

It found "that the use of extreme violence by the Dutch armed forces was not only widespread, but often deliberate, too."

"It was condoned at every level: political, military and legal."

"The research shows that the vast majority of those who bore responsibility on the Dutch side — politicians, officers, civil servants, judges and others — had or could have had knowledge of the systematic use of extreme violence," the researchers said.

"There was a collective willingness to condone, justify and conceal it, and to let it go unpunished. All of this happened with a view to the higher goal: That of winning the war," they said.

The review cited "extrajudicial executions, ill-treatment and torture, detention under inhumane conditions, the torching of houses and villages, the theft and destruction of property and food supplies, disproportionate air raids and artillery shelling, and what were often random mass arrests and mass internment."

Gosh, sounds just like what the Russians are being accused of, only we have hard proof and a confession.
What was that about reprisals against civilians being approved by the Geneva convention again?

Zelenskiy Says Post-war Ukraine Will Emulate Israel, Won't Be ‘Liberal, European'
From the self-proclaimed New York Times of Israel, with all that entails. Founded in 1918, by 2016 its circulation was down to 3.9% in Israel, though abroad it is bundled with the international edition of the New York Times, artificially boosting sales among readers who are mostly uninterested.
[Haaretz] Soldiers in 'cinemas, supermarkets, and people with weapons' is Ukraine's future, Zelenskyy tells reporters, as the country's leaders begin to imagine what a precariously post-war Ukraine might look like
Open carry — woot!
Ukraine will become a "’big Israel' with its own face," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared on Tuesday, indicating that his country intends to emulate the Israeli security state in the wake of Russia’s invasion.

"Ukraine will definitely not be what we wanted it to be from the beginning. It is impossible. Absolutely liberal, European — it will not be like that. It [Ukraine] will definitely come from the strength of every house, every building, every person," Zelenskyy told members of the Ukrainian media during a briefing.

"We will become a ’big Israel’ with its own face. We will not be surprised if we have representatives of the Armed Forces or the National Guard in cinemas, supermarkets, and people with weapons. I am confident that the question of security will be the issue number one for the next 10 years. I am sure of it."

However, such measures would not serve to undercut Ukrainian democracy, he added, declaring that "an authoritarian state is impossible in Ukraine."

"An authoritarian state would lose to Russia. People know what they are fighting for," he said.

#2  Why is there unasked-for editorial commentary attempting to discredit the media outlet? The source is Zelensky's own words. Here are some more of his own words:

Zelenskyy has been highly critical of Israel’s approach to the war, his ambassador to Israel telling reporters several days into the invasion that the president, as a Jew, “has much higher expectations of Israel than Israel can deliver.”

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Israel has carefully walked a diplomatic tightrope in an attempt to comply with American demands to speak out against Russia’s actions while simultaneously avoiding alienating Moscow – which allows the Israeli Air Force to carry out strikes against Iranian targets in Syria.

Zelenskyy brushed aside those concerns during a remote address to the Knesset last month, demanding that Israel arm his country and remove limits on Ukrainian immigration imposed since the invasion.
“What is this? Apathy? Calculations? Or mediation without taking a side? I’ll let you answer that question, but I want to point out that apathy kills, calculations can be incorrect. You can mediate between countries, but not between good and evil,” he said.

Zelenskyy’s speech drew a harsh condemnation from Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who objected to his Ukrainian counterpart’s use of rhetoric comparing Russian actions to those of the Nazis, stating that “it is forbidden to compare anything to the Holocaust.”

Ukrainian leaders have described Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians as genocide but, until recently, Israel has been reluctant to speak out against Russian actions.

#5  Omomolet Phutch9064, you weren’t to know, but Ha’aretz has all the problems, or faults of character if you will, of the New York Times. While their journalists (no mere reporters, they) demonstrate strong writing skills, their reporting is blindered by the stereotypical narratives common to the left around the world, which drives them to miss or ignore important stories and ditto important details of the stories they do report. If Hebrew is not one of your languages, I can recommend the Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, or Ynet as English languages Israeli news sites. I seem to recall the in Times of Israel also has a Russian language version — the other two might also, so that’s something to look into is your Russian is better than your English.

#6  Ukrainian leaders have described Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians as genocide

Didn't Zelensky himself press every citizen into his war, hand them half filled mags and order them to fight?

Who's really responsible for the deaths of untrained people pressured into facing Russian armored and infantry?

#7  #6 Didn't Zelensky himself press every citizen into his war, hand them half filled mags and order them to fight? Who's really responsible for the deaths of untrained people pressured into facing Russian armored and infantry?

Exactly. Zelensky's behavior has nothing in common with the Israeli leadership. He is an actor who goes to Berlin and Tel Aviv and screams at people, trying to shame them with hysterics. It's a kind of emotional blackmail: "If you don't support us then you're guilty of committing another Holocaust."

This is another reason that Ukraine will become Europe's Gaza. Maximalist demands, maximal poverty, war without end.

Goodness knows that’s true. But on this case President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been throwing spaghetti at the wall in the hope that at least one of his arguments will stick, getting help for his beleaguered country. I don’t blame him for using an argument few other national leaders can.

How does he spell his name? It seems different every time.

Transliterations from another alphabet generally depend on what the transcriber hears — hence the variations until the news services settle on one of them. We see that all the time in reports from Israel — The Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post have different style books for place and Arabic names. Ditto the several sites we use for reports on Iraq and Syria, making archives searches a bit more challenging.

China-Japan-Koreas
Russia-Ukraine war: In Chinese media, the US is the villain
[Aljazeera] Hong Kong, China — China may portray itself as a neutral party in the war in Ukraine, but the message it communicates to its audience at home tells a different story.

State news agency Xinhua calls the war "a special military operation" and "the Russia-Ukraine crisis" but never refers to it as an invasion. CCTV, the state broadcaster, mentioned civilian casualties for the first time only three weeks after Russia invaded. More recently, state outlets doubled down on the Russian conspiracy theory claiming the US is funding the development of biological weapons in Ukraine, including migratory birds that could spread avian viruses in Russia.

How the war has been framed in Chinese state media is a reflection of where the government stands.

China has not condemned Russia over the invasion of a sovereign nation with which Beijing has strong economic ties, instead talking of "legitimate security concerns" that need to be discussed by "all parties". And while there has been outrage in the West over the discovery in recent days of civilians allegedly killed by Russian troops in Bucha, coverage in Chinese state media has been brief, despite a recent subtle shift of tone to acknowledge the human toll.

Since the start of hostilities more than a month ago, one theme has remained consistent: the United States is the villain.

China’s relations with Russia have come under even closer scrutiny since the two countries declared a "no limits" partnership in early February.

"We should understand information as part of that," said David Bandurski, co-director of the China Media Project, who noted that there is a long history of cooperation between Chinese state outlets and Russian agencies such as Sputnik and Russia Today.

What we have seen here in Middle Easter GA. is lots of farm acreage planted in 2021 in WHEAT and harvested last week. The farmers are were collecting the straw until the rains hit us.

BTW: The Fields planted in Wheat this time, have usually been Soybean, or Corn for farm feed or cotton. Wheat was a new thing and not common in this neck of the woods.

#7  Big switch to planting beans instead of corn due to lower fertilizer requirements.

It would be nice if this switch could be made permanent. King Corn and putting HFCS into every other packaged food and beverage are probably the biggest causes of the obesity epidemic. It would save us billions in wasted subsidies as well.

Also less US corn production would help small Mexican farmers and reduce economic pressures on Mexicans, which would reduce illegal immigration. Less corn is a good thing.

#8 Corn as fuel.
5+ Billion tons worth per year.
Since 2011 the USA has used more Corn for Fuel than For Feeding Staving people.

Adding up the energy costs of corn production and its conversion to ethanol. Multiple sources tell us that 131,000 BTUs are used to make 1 gallon of ethanol which treats 10 gallons of Gasoline. One gallon of 90/10 Gas/Ethanol treated fuel has an energy value of around 76,300 BTU's. or

While conventional untreated Regular gasoline has an energy content of about 116,090 Btu's per gallon.

So not only are we wasting food to feed people. We are wasting close to as much energy in doing so.

WHY?

Execution by organ procurement: Breaching the dead donor rule in China
[AmJournalOfTransplantation] ABSTRACT
The dead donor rule is fundamental to transplant ethics. The rule states that organ procurement must not commence until the donor is both dead and formally pronounced so, and by the same token, that procurement of organs must not cause the death of the donor. In a separate area of medical practice, there has been intense controversy around the participation of physicians in the execution of capital prisoners. These two apparently disparate topics converge in a unique case: the intimate involvement of transplant surgeons in China in the execution of prisoners via the procurement of organs. We use computational text analysis to conduct a forensic review of 2838 papers drawn from a dataset of 124 770 Chinese-language transplant publications. Our algorithm searched for evidence of problematic declarations of brain death during organ procurement. We find evidence in 71 of these reports, spread nationwide, that brain death could not have properly been declared. In these cases, the removal of the heart during organ procurement must have been the proximate cause of the donor's death. Because these organ donors could only have been prisoners, our findings strongly suggest that physicians in the People's Republic of China have participated in executions by organ removal.

Australian Bushmaster armoured vehicles painted and ready to fly to Ukraine within days
[ABC.AU] Four ADF Bushmaster vehicles have been hastily repainted and modified so they can be flown to Europe within days of a direct public request from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

During Thursday's historic address to parliament the Ukrainian leader caught Defence by surprise when he nominated the troop carriers as a practical example of what Australia could provide his nation as it fights a Russian invasion.

Immediately following President Zelenskyy's historic address the Defence department scrambled to work out how best to get the Bendigo-built armoured vehicles to the war-torn nation in Eastern Europe quickly.

Now the ABC can reveal the first four troop carriers were repainted and refitted in Brisbane over the weekend ahead of their delivery to RAAF Base Amberley, where they are expected to be loaded onto a C-17 Globemaster before being flown to Europe.

A RAAF Globemaster can carry up to four Bushmasters on board at any one time, but it is understood the ADF is also examining whether some of the vehicles used by the Dutch military could be given to the Ukrainians as well.

During the Afghanistan war the Bushmaster was credited for saving the lives of Australian soldiers, with the Dutch government buying more than 100 of them.

The UK Defence Force is believed to operate around 20 of the vehicles.

Last week Prime Minister Scott Morrison declared Australia would meet President Zelenskyy's request, by "not just sending our prayers … we're going to be sending our armoured vehicles, our bushmasters as well, and we'll be flying them over on our C-17s".

Food Rationing Next? Supermarkets Allowed to Begin Rationing, Says Spain's Socialist Government
[Breitbart] The socialist government of Spain has introduced new laws allowing for the supermarkets to ration food and other items as a part of its “Response Plan” to the economic fallout from the war in Ukraine.

Amid soaring inflation, which hit nearly 10 per cent in March, the Spanish government, controlled by the leftist Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has opened up a legal loophole for supermarkets to begin rationing to customers.

Published on Wednesday in the Official State Gazette (BOE) news bulletin website of the government, an amendment was inserted to the Regulation of Retail Trade law of 1996, which previously prohibited businesses from rationing.

The new amendment reads: “Exceptionally, when there are extraordinary circumstances or force majeure that justify it, commercial establishments may temporarily suspend the prohibition… of limiting the number of items that can be purchased by each buyer.”

The government stressed that rationing must be justified, such as in order to prevent shortages, prior to limits being implemented.

Despite the worrying signal from the struggling state, the government’s Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda Raquel Sánchez appealed for calm, saying: “Sometimes there are alarms guided by nervousness. That is what the plan contemplates and I think the important thing is that we make a call for responsibility, that together it is up to us to transmit a message of tranquillity to the citizenry.”

Sánchez said the supermarkets and markets should be “responsible” in how they convey information to the public to prevent panic buying.

The Spanish broadsheet Heraldo de Aragón noted that there has already been some instances of panic buying — likening it to the run on toilet paper during the early stages of the Chinese coronavirus — with consumers rushing to buy sunflower oil related products for fear of shortages. Ukraine and Russia dominate the global sunflower oil market, along with several others.

Pentagon Wants Permanent Military Bases In Eastern Europe To Deter Russia
[ZERO] Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Mark Milley in Tuesday testimony before the House Armed Services Committee told Congressional leaders that the US should establish permanent military bases in Eastern Europe in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

He cited that allies Romania, Poland and Baltic countries remain "very willing" to host US bases, and that "they'll build them, they'll pay for them." He testified alongside Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin. "My advice would be to create permanent bases, but don’t permanently station," Milley said.

He explained that this wouldn't necessitate permanently deployed forces, but with the same benefits: "You get the effect of permanence by rotational forces," the top general said.

Among other highlights in the House testimony was his being questioned over whether Vladimir Putin could have been deterred ahead of the Feb.24 invasion of Ukraine, short of direct US-Russia clash. He said:

India-Pakistan
Bill Gates looks to strengthen ties between Pakistan, his foundation on 'issues of shared interests'
[Dawn] Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates wrote a letter to President Dr Arif Alvi on Tuesday, thanking him for "warmly welcoming" the billionaire philanthropist on his first-ever visit to Pakistain in February and saying that his foundation looked forward to "deepening" its relationship with the Pakistain government to tackle issues of "shared interests".

During his day-long visit in February, Gates had held separate meetings with the president and Prime Minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who ain't the brightest knife in the national drawer...
. He had also visited the now-defunct National Command and Operation Centre, which spearheaded the country's Covid-19 response, and lauded Pakistain for its efforts to end polio
...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain...
President Alvi had conferred the Hilal-e-Pakistain award — one of the country’s highest civil awards — on him during the trip.

In his letter to the president, Gates said it was a "pleasure" meeting him and an honour to receive the award.

He said he was "glad" to discuss challenges of "vital importance" with Alvi such as stunting, malnutrition, family planning and social protection programmes.

"I look forward to a deepening partnership between the government of Pakistain and our [Bill and Melinda Gates] Foundation to tackle these and other issues of shared interest," the letter read.

He commended the president's "ongoing high-level commitment" to protecting the health and wellbeing of Pakistain's children, including efforts to secure a polio-free future for upcoming generations.

Gates reiterated in the letter that Pakistain had made "remarkable progress" in its fight against "wild poliovirus" with no case recorded for over a year. However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
he noted that the circulation of the disease persisted in southern Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

Gates said President Alvi's "continued engagement on polio would go a long way to accelerating Pakistain's continued progress [in eradicating polio]."

He ended the note saying "I hope we can speak again soon".

Olde Tyme Religion
Nigeria sentences atheist to 24 years for blasphemy
[DW] Mubarak Bala, in detention for two years, pled guilty to 18 charges of blasphemy. Activists in the country called the sentence, "a sad day for human rights in Nigeria."

A Nigerian court on Tuesday sentenced Mubarak Bala, an atheist, to 24 years in prison for blasphemy
...the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence to a deity, or sacred objects, or toward something considered sacred or inviolable. Some religions consider it to be a crime. In Pakistain you can commit blasphemy by looking cross-eyed at a Koran...
"This court hereby sentences Muhammad Mubarak Bala to 24 years ... This will take into consideration the time he served awaiting trial," said Judge Faruk Lawan in Kano, Nigeria.

Bala, a former Moslem and the president of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, was arrested in April 2020 for what authorities said were social media posts blasphemous toward Islam.

"The Humanist community in Nigeria is utterly shocked by the sentencing of Mubarak Bala for 'blasphemy.' It is utterly disgraceful that a court in this 21st century could convict an individual for making innocuous posts on Facebook," wrote Leo Igwe, a board member of the organization Humanists International.

"Today is a sad day for humanism, human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
and freedom in Nigeria. The sentencing of Mubarak Bala is a stark violation of the rights to freedom of expression and freedom of religion or belief. We urge the authorities in Nigeria to ensure that this judicial charade does not stand," Igwe added.

The supposed crime of blasphemy typically involves the perceived insult of a deity or deities. Its place in Nigeria's legal code, as in multiple countries around the world, dates back to British imperial rule.

BALA COULD HAVE FACED EXECUTION AT SHARIA COURT
Prosecutors in the West African country's predominantly Moslem northern state of Kano said Bala had insulted the Prophet Muhammad and Islam in Facebook posts which they claimed sought to, "cause a breach of the public peace."

Bala had long maintained his innocence but surprised his legal team Tuesday by pleading guilty to 18 charges of blasphemy.

The presiding judge halted the trial to grant counsel the opportunity to speak to Bala to "be sure he was under no influence or intimidation" and understood "the implication of his plea."

Bala told the court he was "pleading for mercy and leniency," adding: "The intention of the posts was not to cause violence but I have realized they are capable of causing violence. I will take care in the future."

Supporters fear he was coerced by Nigerian authorities and questioned the state's motives, raising issues of a flawed process.

During his nearly two years in detention, Bala was reportedly put in solitary confinement where he was denied health care and forced to "worship in the Moslem way," according to his lawyer.

Authorities in Kano insist the trial was fair, stating that Bala is welcome to appeal its decision.

The trial was conducted in a secular court. Had he been tried in one of Nigeria's Islamic Sharia courts he could have faced the death penalty
.

'A DAY OF SHAME' FOR NIGERIAN AUTHORITIES SAY HUMANISTS
Humanists and atheists in Nigeria are now "potential criminals who can easily be thrown in jail just for expressing their views. Humanists have become endangered citizens of Nigeria," Leo Igwe said.

"The thoughts of the whole global humanist movement are with our friend Mubarak, his wife, and his baby son. This is a day of shame for the Nigerian authorities, who have imposed an unthinkable punishment on an innocent man," wrote Andrew Copson, president of Humanists International.

"For two years Mubarak's fundamental rights to liberty and a fair trial have been consistently violated," Copson continued. "He has been charged and found guilty of offenses that amount to no more than expressing a non-religious opinion. We call on the Nigerian authorities to quash this completely unjust and entirely disproportionate conviction, and release our innocent friend and colleague."

Numerous Health Problems More Likely Due To COVID-19 Vaccines Than Coincidence: VAERS Data Analys
[ZERO] Various health problems reported by people after receiving one of the COVID-19 vaccine shots are more likely caused by the vaccines than being merely coincidental, according to an analysis of data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
"It's just a harmless jungle defoliant, you'll see."
VAERS has been flooded with more than a million reports of various health problems and more than 21,000 death reports since the introduction of the vaccines in late 2020. Some experts and public officials have downplayed the significance of the reports, noting that just because a health problem occurs after getting the shot, it doesn’t mean it was caused by it.

A deeper analysis of the data, however, indicates that many of the adverse effects are more than just a coincidence, according to Jessica Rose, a computational biologist who’s been studying the data for at least nine months.

"The safety signals being thrown off in VAERS now are off the charts across the board," she told The Epoch Times.

There are multiple ways to parse the data in order to flush out whether the causal link between an adverse event and the vaccination is real or illusory. For example, the vaccines usually come in two doses. A random adverse event unrelated to the vaccine should be dose agnostic. A stroke randomly coinciding with a vaccination shouldn’t be picky about which dose it was. In the VAERS data, however, a number of the reported problems are dose-dependent. Myocarditis in teenagers, for example, is reported several times more often after the second dose than after the first one. Following a booster shot, in contrast, the frequency is significantly lower than after the first dose, Rose found.

While we are out and abound meeting people again & sharing C-19 stories. Some are telling us they got VAX'd/Boostered and still got the C-19. A few that got VAX'd, still ended up in the Hospital.

A few tell us that they have had younger VAX'd family members that had adverse reactions ranging from ongoing head & body aches, brain fog, clots and other things they did not have before.

I honestly don't think we will ever be told the whole truth about the VAX, or even the real cause, or C-19 numbers.

#2  Visited a friend in physical rehab facility the other day. Lied about being "boosted" with one click of the visitor badge printing machine.

It's all a bad joke unless you actually got sick and died.

#3  /\ Here's some truth. I'll never get another gov't recommended JAB. Lost a friend a couple of months ago. He was in good shape, not obese, was active, Viet Vet, hiker for Vet causes, comfortably retired, but on hypertension meds. Fell ill and died within a hour or so. Very suspicious.

#4  I won't get any boosters. I've never tested positive. I only got the initial jab because the lockdown scenario at the time seemed to demand it. Now we know it's another lame gummint program. The vaxxes do. not. work. The claim you will be "less sick" if you are vaccinated cannot ever be clinically proven.

People who live in fear of COVID will always be with us. I cannot let their fears run my life.

#5  "just because you get a health problem after getting the shot doesn't mean the shot did it." How was every death from the last 2 years from covid then?
Posted by: Chris || 04/06/2022 10:19 Comments || Top||

#6  When a new vaccine goes through clinical trials they test it on x number of people and expect a certain percentage of side effects based on unexpected variables. If a side effect is lethal the program is cancelled.

When x number of people includes millions and millions of people the variables have got to be crazy in numbers and cancellation is unlikely as the powers that be can't admit mistakes.

#8  In our case we ( wife & I) never have been VAX'd.
We caught it likely from extended family member, an RN, who visited us, who had been VAX'd, who then came down with a "mild flu" a few days later and several days before we did.

But we were out living a normal life for almost 2 years before be hospitalized for 2 weeks and We still would not get the VAX.
