[AlAhram] Egyptian security forces have arrested a 60-year-old man who reportedly stabbed a Coptic archpriest to death in the city of Alexandria on Thursday evening.
Arsanios Wadid, the Priest of the Church of the Virgin Mary and Mar Boulos in the Karmouz neighbourhood of the Meharam Bek district, the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria said on its Facebook page.
Wadid, 56, was transported to Mostafa Kamel Military Hospital in Sidi Gaber neighbourhood, but he departed this vale of tears, the church said.
Investigations are underway to disclose the stabber’s identity and motives, the church added.
"The church eulogises this blessed father who committed his life to God, and gave his life today to him in an honest martyrdom," it said.
The victim was stabbed with a knife while walking along the Mediterranean Corniche in the Sidi Bishr district, according to statement by the Ministry of Interior.
Wadid, born in 1966, was ordained to the priesthood in 1995 by the late Pope Shenouda III, the former head of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
[AlAhram] The church held the funeral for the 56-year-old Wadid at Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Alexandria.
On Thursday, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayyeb condemned the crime and presented his condolences to the victim's family, the Coptic Orthodox Church and Egyptian Christians.
Terrorists locally known as bandidos have reportedly kidnapped an unspecified number of residents in Danjanku village, Musawa Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State.
According to residents who escaped the incident, the bandidos stormed the community in the early hours of Friday, and operated for many hours.
In their account, they claimed the bandidos arrived in the village on cycle of violences and started shooting indiscriminately. They kidnapped some locals and escaped with them into the forest, Politics Nigeria reports.
Barely a week ago, five persons were killed by button men suspected to be bandidos in Yantumaki, Danmusa Local Government Area of the state.
Danmusa, which is on the boundary of Rugu Forest, is one of the main hideouts for button men commonly referred to as bandidos.
Katsina, despite being the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, has witnessed sporadic attacks by bandidos and kidnappers that have claimed the lives of many.
Over 700 people have been reportedly killed by the button men in Jibia, Kankara, Dutsinma, Musawa, Danmusa and Safana local government areas of the state in the last five months.
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] A motion for detention shows two men impersonating federal agents, Haider Sher-Ali, 35, and Arian Taherzadeh, 40, had a slew of damning evidence in their apartments
This included images showing several different passports and IDs as well as firearms
'They are not law enforcement agents, and they are not involved in sanctioned covert activities,' the motion for detention filed Friday claims. 'Neither Defendant is even employed by the United States government Didja look and see who they were employed by? We'll wait.
'But their impersonation scheme was sufficiently realistic to convince other government employees, including law enforcement agents, of their false identities,' the memorandum added.
At least two Secret Service agents assigned to Biden and Harris' protective detail were caught up in the scheme by two men posing as DHS agents
One agent receiving free rent, sources say, was regularly stationed at VP Kamala Harris' residence at One Observatory Circle at the Naval Observatory
Another who was often seen partying with the two men is on the presidential protective detail
At least four Secret Service agents have been placed on administrative leave
Taherzadeh and Ali were arrested Wednesday for impersonating federal agents with the Department of Homeland Security, their apartment were raided by the FBI, NCIS and USPIS
The duo claimed to be involved in an investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol attack
Taherzadeh told law enforcement in an interview after being taken into custody on Wednesday that Ali was the one funding their lavish lifestyle and seemingly endless stream of gifts, but claimed he wasn't aware where the money was coming from.
Ali, according to Taherzadeh, was the one able to gain access codes and a list of tenants in the Crossing DC apartment complex — owned by upscale real estate firm Tishman Speyer.
'With respect to Ali, Taherzadeh stated that Ali had obtained the electronic access codes and a list of all of the tenants in the apartment complex,' the memorandum notes. 'Taherzadeh further stated that Ali was the individual that funded most of their day-to-day operation but Taherzadeh did not know the source of the funds.'
Just after the interaction with a Postal Inspector in March, which eventually led to the duo's arrest, Taherzadeh said that he started deleting law enforcement material from his social media.
Images from the raid Wednesday of a unit on the 7th floor where Taherzadeh was residing allegedly for free showed agents recovered 'three current copies of Taherzadeh's Washington D.C. driver's license, passport, United States Special Police — Special Investigations Unit business cards, a USSP police badge, and several identification and credit cards.'
During an arraignment Thursday afternoon, details emerged that there could be connections between Ali and the Pak Intelligence Service.
Two of his passports were found during a raid of his unit on the 6th floor of Crossing DC.
'Ali's expired passport contained several visas authorizing foreign travel,' the Friday memorandum notes. 'For instance, this passport contained two visas authorizing travel from the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran.'
'The Government has identified at least four entry/exit stamps from Mashhad International Airport in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan, Iran.'
It goes on: 'In addition, the Ali's passport contained two thirty-day visas from Pakistain and one visa for travel to Egypt.'
Images of these visas and passports corroborate the claims made in the memorandum for detention of Taherzadeh and Ali.
Customs and Border Protection records show that Ali traveled through Doha, Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. So at no time in 18 months it was determined that Biden/Harris were worth the effort?
ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE
Where there is 1 sleeper cell there are others.
If this is real not mid term hype.
Then DC swamp better cover its assets big time.
QUESTION:
How long before the Biden DOJ & MSM tries to blame TRUMP for this ?

NN,
The question is often asked as to why the WWII allies never tried to kill A Certain Austrian Corporal, and never gave all that much assistance to those in Germany who did try.
The answer has and can always be distilled down to one thing: the possibility that they might be replaced by someone competent.
They stayed away from Biden and Harris because they know no matter what they did, the worst result would be a couple of ineffective airstrikes and the White House kissing their backsides again in a few months for a new nuclear deal. But if you actually whacked the top of the food chain, somebody might get in there who says, 'Enough."*

*IMHO - YMMV, of course - Nancy Pelosi would avoid the Presidency like Dracula avoids Holy Water.

Idle speculation: these guys are actually Mossad. They infiltrated Pakistan's ISI but in order to maintain their cover, they had to infiltrate Homeland Security, which appears to be like having the weekend off.

It is a concern that the real agents were taking free rent from these possibly Iranian agents. Not sure why the Iranians would benefit from infiltrating the Biden regime. That would be like Walmart sending agents to infiltrate Sam's Club. It's the same payroll. Looks like we are missing 2/3rds of the puzzle which means we will never hear of it again.

I've reach the point where I think there's only about 3-5 people in each department of the government that do ALL the actual work. The rest are just there to grift money and get party invites.
[Dawn] Two suspected bandidosgunnies belonging to a banned outfit have been killed in a heavy exchange of fire with security forces in the Singi area of Mashkey in Awaran district.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, security forces conducted an operation on information about the presence of bandidosgunnies in the Lebanon Hezbollahstan ...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady days of human sacrifice to Baal Moloch... Singi area near Mashkey between the night of April 7 and 8.
Security forces seized illegal arms and ammunition, which were intended to be used for disrupting peace and security in the area.
During the operation, Lance Havaldar Raj Wali Khan and Sepoy Osama Khan embraced martyrdom, while one officer got injured in the exchange of fire.
The ISPR said when troops started taking positions in the area, the bandidosgunnies tried to escape from their hideout and opened fire on the security forces.
"Terrorists belonging to BLF [Baloch Liberation Front] have been killed in the ensuing heavy exchange of fire," the ISPR said, adding that these bandidosgunnies were involved in different incidents in Awaran district and its surrounding areas.
On Friday, a security source said that terrorists stormed a gas station in Al-Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
"Armed elements believed to have belonged to ISIS kidnapped a team member in a gas station in Al-Rutba district of Al-Anbar then fled to an unknown destination." A source told Shafaq News Agency.
A security force arrived at the scene and carried out an operation to find the terrorists.
A local officiall disclosed new details regarding the Ayn al-Assad incident.
The official told Shafaq News agency that an armed group had entered Kabisa sub-district to carry out the attack, prompting the Global Coalition forces to prepare to repel any possible attacks.
The Coalition said in a statement today, "At approximately 1:46 a.m., April 8, U.S. air defense systems shot down an armed unmanned aerial system entering Al Asad Air Base, Iraq.
'There are no reported injuries or damage and all Coalition personnel are accounted for. The incident is under investigation", the statement added.
However, a source reported to Shafaq News agency that the drones are similar to the ones that carried out the attack on Erbil and were found in Diyala two months ago.
The Global Coalition units deployed in Ayn al-Asad airbase
...alternately Ain Al-Asad...
thwarted an attack on the base today, a security source reported.
The source told Shafaq News agency that the units dropped two drones that were flying on the east side of the base, in addition to two rockets.
It is still unknown whether the two rockets were launched by the drones.
Ayn al-Asad is located 90 Km west of Ramadi, the capital city of al-Anbar governorate, and is the largest base hosting the Coalition units.
Bases hosting the Coalition units are constantly attacked since the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.
Washington accuses pro-Iranian factions of being behind such attacks.
The attack comes after four U.S. troops were hurt Thursday when rockets were fired at a base housing American forces in neighboring Syria's Deir Ezzor province.
Dozens of rocket and armed drone attacks have targeted U.S. troops and interests in Iraq in recent months.
Western officials have blamed hard-line pro-Iran factions for the attacks, which have never been claimed.
[IsraelTimes] Army chief Kohavi instructs military to focus operations on towns from which recent forces of Evil came; Tel Aviv attacker said to have crossed gap in barrier near Umm al-Fahm
Israel Defense Forces chief Aviv Kohavi on Friday said the military will ramp up activities in the northern West Bank, following several deadly terror incidents involving Paleostinians from the Jenin region and as officials reportedly believe the Paleostinian Authority is losing control of the area. Speaking to soldiers at the Ofer military base, Kohavi said he believes security challenges will remain for many days to come and hinted at an operation in Jenin.
"If we are going to clash with the forces of Evil anyway, I prefer it be in Jenin," Kohavi said, according to Channel 13. The city is located in the northern West Bank close to the border with Israel.
Channel 13 said Israeli forces may be preparing for an operation in the northern West Bank as soon as this weekend.
Earlier on Friday, Kohavi instructed the IDF to expand and increase offensive operations in the West Bank, especially in northern towns from which recent forces of Evil came.
The button men who carried out the deadly attacks in Bnei Brak last month and Tel Aviv on Thursday came from the Jenin area.

In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... members were killed in the ensuing firefight near Jenin and four Israeli soldiers were maimed.
According to the Kan public broadcaster, the Paleostinian Authority is being challenged for control of the area around Jenin by both the Islamic Jihad terror group and members of Fatah, the Paleostinian faction ostensibly led by PA President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase.... Israeli officials want the PA to crack down on terror in the area, but fear it will not be able to, according to Friday news reports.
Kohavi also ordered the military to ramp up defensive operations in the "seam zone" border area along the Green Line separating Israel and the West Bank.
Kohavi told soldiers on Friday night that the terrorist who carried out Thursday’s terror shooting in Tel Aviv, Ra’ad Hazem, crossed into Israel through a gap in the barrier.
Officials suspect Hazem was driven from Jenin to the northern Israeli town of Umm al-Fahm
... base of the outlawed Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, the militant arm of the Israeli branch of the Muslim Brotherhood....
through a gap in the fence, and from there took a bus to Tel Aviv to carry out the attack, according to Hebrew media reports.
The suspect who drove Hazem is known to security forces, Ynet said.
Uh oh. Someone’s in trouble...
There are many gaps in the West Bank barrier, and the IDF has dispatched thousands of troops in recent weeks to the seam zone area to prevent Paleostinians from crossing into Israel. Kohavi told the troops that the attacker should not have been able to cross into Israel and that it is the IDF’s responsibility to prevent such border infiltrations.
On Friday, troops thwarted an attempt to smuggle an M16 assault rifle and ammunition from the West Bank into Israel near the northern city of Tulkarm.
Channel 12 said security forces were looking into the possibility that other people knew about Hazem’s plan to carry out a terror attack and did not act to stop him. At the moment though, the belief of the security establishment was that Hazem acted alone using a pistol he acquired in the West Bank.
The Shin Bet had in the past declined to grant Hazem an entry permit, but he had a thorough knowledge of Tel Aviv and the neighboring Arab-majority city of Jaffa after entering Israel illegally on a number of previous occasions, reports said.
Senior security officials told the Walla news site that Hazem had crossed into Israel through a hole in the security barrier near Jenin, even though the military recently fortified the fence in that area.
Hazem suffered from a limp, which could be seen in security camera footage in the moments before the attack. He was shot in the leg during an incident in the West Bank several years ago, but the reason, nature and Hazem’s role in the incident remained unclear.
The Shin Bet said earlier Friday that he had "no clear organizational affiliation, no security background and no previous arrests," but security officials had previously known Hazem as being a hacker, reports said.
His father, Fathi Hazem, is a former security prisoner who previously served as an officer in the Paleostinian Authority’s security services in Jenin.
[IsraelTimes] Thursday night’s terror attack has drawn several comparisons to a similar attack at a bar just down the street in 2016, in which Arab Israeli man Nashat Milhelm opened fire on the Simta pub, and then escaped back to his home in Wadi Ara within hours. Two people were killed at the pub, and Milhelm also killed a taxi driver as he fled.
He was eventually found in his hometown of Arara after a week-long manhunt. In contrast, shooter Ra’ad Hazem was found just 10 hours after the shooting, hiding out in nearby Jaffa.
Channel 12 news reports that Hazem also planned on escaping home, in his case to the West Bank, but was stymied by a decision to set up checkpoints on roads leading out of Tel Aviv toward the West Bank or northern Israel. Instead, he was shot and killed in a shootout with forces outside a Jaffa mosque.
According to Kan, Hazem did not visit the mosque before the shooting, but went straight to Tel Aviv, where he walked around before eventually carrying out the attack. Earlier reports had indicated he had been there before the attack.
[IsraelTimes] Yaakov Cohen, 32, faces up to 14 years in prison after admitting to his role in the brutal beating of Saeed Mousa last May.
A Tel Aviv court on Thursday convicted a second man for his involvement in a mob attack on an Arab motorist during a spasm of communal violence last year.
The incident took place in May, when a mob yanked Saeed Mousa from his car and proceeded to beat him in an assault that left him motionless and bloodied on the ground, and seriously injured.

[IsraelTimes] Waqf estimates around 80,000 Paleostinians worshiped at Jerusalem holy site; several dozen chant pro-Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, slogans; additional forces deployed in city after Tel Aviv terror attack
Tens of thousands of Paleostinians attended afternoon prayers at the Temple Mount for the first Friday of the Moslem holy month of Ramadan, as Israeli security forces were on high alert in Jerusalem following the deadly terror attack in Tel Aviv the night before.
Many West Bank Paleostinians crossed into Israel to pray at the holy site on Friday morning, in accordance with relaxed restrictions on movement during Ramadan.
A Waqf official said around 80,000 worshippers prayed at the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, a significantly lower number than usual.
"During a normal Ramadan Friday, we would expect to see as many as 200,000," Azzam al-Khatib said in a phone call.
Khatib said fewer worshippers arrived from the West Bank than expected, although he declined to comment further as to why.
"Some people were scared to come, because of what happened yesterday, and we were worried they’d close off the West Bank. But they’re here, praise God," said Adam, an East Jerusalem Paleostinian who works at a shop in the Old City.
The prayers ended peacefully, though tension in the air was palpable following Thursday’s terror shooting in Tel Aviv, with both police and IDF deploying additional forces across Jerusalem.
Many coppers were deployed around Damascus Gate, where daily festivities have erupted between Paleostinians and security forces since the start of Ramadan last weekend. Fences tightly directed the tide of worshippers out of the plaza as Border Police look on.
As the majority of Paleostinian worshippers left the Old City, several dozen remained on the Temple Mount, chanting pro-Hamas slogans.
"Put sword next to sword, we’re Mohammad Deif’s men," the Paleostinians chant, referring to the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... -ruling terror group’s shadowy military commander.
