...WINTER STORM BRINGS STRONGER WINDS WITH RAIN AND SNOW TODAY, COLD AND SHOWERY WEDNESDAY... Gusty south to southwest winds will precede and accompany the main cold front today. Widespread wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph in valley locations with gusts exceeding 60 mph in wind prone areas (my backyard) will likely bring difficulties for high profile vehicles, aviation and boating activities.

#3 Glenmore, the important thing is that the water reach the snail darter or whatever endangered creature they are protecting. If after that the water gets wasted in the ocean, oh well.

#5 I-80 closed about about 7500' as of an hour ago.

I think this is the 7th or 8th time this winter that it was closed.
