Egypt To Unilaterally Cancel Trade Agreement Signed With Turkey During Morsi Rule
[Hurriyet] The Egyptian government has decided not to extend a comprehensive free trade agreement signed with Turkey during the rule of the ousted ex-President Mohammed Morsi, the MENA news agency reported on Oct. 28.
All hail the new Ottoman sultanate, Recep Tayyip Erdogan presiding! See him sitting on his throne in more than oriental splendor, as his country's power and influence shrinks by the day!
Ties between the two countries have been strained since Morsi's ouster last year, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him...
repeatedly condemning the "coup" and describing the military government as illegitimate.

An undersecretary from Egypt's Transport Ministry was quoted as saying that the agreement, made up of several close cooperation measures including allowing ships from both countries to use their respective waters, had significantly damaged the Egyptian national economy.

He said Cairo would not extend the agreement, which is in effect until March 2015.

Both countries downgraded their diplomatic relations after Egypt withdrew its ambassador from Turkey over Ankara's stance on the overthrow of Morsi.

Erdogan has since repeatedly slammed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who led the military takeover in July 2013, turning the "rabia" sign of the Moslem Brüderbund supporters who faced a brutal crackdown in Egypt into his rallying symbol.

A recent attempt to spark dialogue between the two countries' foreign ministers in New York was nixed after Erdogan's strongly-worded criticism at the U.N. General Assembly.

'Free' Tunisia polls offer Arab Spring ray of hope
[ARABNEWS] Foreign observers on Tuesday praised Tunisia's landmark "free" elections, after the Islamists conceded defeat in a vote that raised hopes of a peaceful transition in the birthplace of the Arab Spring.

The Islamist Ennahda party, which had steered the North African nation through the aftermath of the 2011 revolution, congratulated its secular rival Nida Tounes which it said would be the largest party in parliament.

Ennahda called on its supporters to celebrate "democracy" and hundreds rallied outside its Tunis headquarters despite the bitterness of defeat.

Tunisia is the "only tree still standing in a devastated forest," its leader Rached Ghannouchi told the crowd, alluding to other Arab Spring countries where the hopes of the 2011 Arab Spring uprisings have given way to conflict or renewed repression.

The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
's observer mission hailed the conduct of Sunday's election, which took place against a backdrop of tight security because of fears of bad boy attacks.

"The Tunisian people have reinforced their commitment to democracy with credible and transparent elections that gave Tunisians of all political tendencies a free vote," mission chief Annemie Neyts-Uytterbroeck told a news conference.

With neither party expected to win an outright majority, the political horse-trading began ahead of the announcement of full results from the polls, in which an array of smaller parties also fielded candidates.

Egypt Gives Residents On Gaza Border 48 Hours To Leave
[IsraelTimes] Egyptian authorities on Tuesday ordered residents living along the country's eastern border with the Gazoo Strip to evacuate so they can demolish their homes and set up a buffer zone to stop weapons and myrmidon trafficking between Egypt and the Paleostinian territory, officials said.

The measure comes four days after Islamist fighters attacked an army post, killing at least 31 soldiers in the restive area in the northeastern corner of the Sinai Peninsula. After the attack, Egypt declared a state of emergency and dawn-to-dusk curfew there. Authorities also indefinitely closed the Gazoo crossing, the only non-Israeli passage for the crowded strip with the world.

The buffer zone, which will include water-filled trenches to thwart tunnel diggers, will be 500 meters (yards) wide and extended along the 13 kilometer (9 mile) border.
The buffer zone, which will include water-filled trenches to thwart tunnel diggers, will be 500 meters (yards) wide and extended along the 13 kilometer (9 mile) border.

Army officers spoke to the affected residents in person and initially gave them a 48-hour ultimatum to leave, but put that on hold after they protested, officials said. Residents groups are now negotiating with local officials to see if they can extend the deadline.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief news hounds.

The Egyptian army has waged a broad offensive in northern Sinai against Islamist groups, who have turned several areas into strongholds over the past three years, destroying many of the sprawling smuggling tunnels that connected the area with Gazoo.

Egyptian media meanwhile has accused Gazoo's Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, rulers of meddling in Egypt's affairs, with some suggesting that the Islamic terror group is supporting fighters inside Egypt since the military overthrew Egypt's elected president, the Islamist Mohammed Morsi, last year.
Is it so soon forgotten that President Morsi was the political face of the "moderate Muslim" Muslim Brotherhood?
Hamas officials deny any interference and criticize Egypt for imposing stricter border crossing rules since then.

Party of ex-Dictator Cronies Beats Islamist Party in Tunisian Elections
[AlJazeera] Tunisian secular Nidaa Tounes party is emerging as the main winner in the 217-seat parliament election after Sunday's vote, preliminary results show.

Led by Beji Caid Essebsi, Nidaa Tunis has won 83 seats (38 percent), according to official provisional results released on Monday.

The North African nation's leading Islamist party, Ennahda, is in second place with 68 seats (31 percent).

Among the other parties, the provisional figures showed Free Patriotic Union and the Popular Front with 17 seats (seven percent) and 12 seats (five percent) respectively.

...Essebsi served as minister of the interior, defence and foreign affairs under the country's founding president, Habib Bourguiba. He was then parliamentary speaker under deposed leader Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.

Arabia
Bahraini opposition group slapped with 3-month suspension
[ARABNEWS] Bahrain has suspended the activities of the country's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq, for three months, a court ruling showed on Tuesday, ahead of a November parliamentary election which the group has already pledged to boycott.

The reported move appeared to be the result of a court case brought by the government in July against the organization, arguing it had broken the law and its own statutes.

A copy of the court ruling said Al-Wefaq was in violation of the law concerning political societies, which also says that the Justice Minister can request the High Civil Court to stop the activities of a society "for a period not exceeding three months during which it removes the reasons for the violation."

It said Al-Wefaq also failed to provide the Justice Ministry with documents that relate to the organization of the group's general conferences. The court said the group's activities were being carried out in a "fog, without any legal supervision."

The Grand Turk
Peshmerga Head for Syria's Kobane to Fight IS
[AnNahar] Heavily armed Kurdish peshmerga fighters set off from their base in northern Iraq Tuesday to support militia forces defending the Syrian border town of Kobane from the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group.

Military trucks loaded with weapons departed from the base northeast of the Iraqi Kurdish regional capital Arbil bound for the besieged town on the Turkish frontier, an AFP correspondent said.

More than three dozen vehicles carrying 80 fighters, machineguns and artillery were to travel overland to Kobane, crossing the border into Turkey on Tuesday, a Kurdish officer said.

The convoy included two towed artillery pieces and a number of covered trucks, some of them carrying rocket launchers.

Another 72 peshmerga fighters were to fly to Turkey early on Wednesday, the officer said.

Kobane's Kurdish defenders have been waiting for days for the arrival of the peshmerga fighters, after Turkey last week said it would allow them to traverse its territory to enter the town.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said there would no problem for the peshmerga to cross into Kobane, dismissing reports of delays imposed by Ankara.

"There is now no political problem. There is no problem in the way of them crossing. They can cross at any moment," Cavusoglu was quoted as saying by the official Anatolia news agency.

Local Kurdish militia have been holding out against an IS offensive for weeks and the town has become an important symbol in the international battle against IS.

The fighting continued on Tuesday, an AFP news hound at Mursitpinar across the border in Turkey said, with black smoke rising over the town as the jihadists set fire to tires in a bid to prevent air strikes.

The U.S.-led coalition waging an air campaign against IS has pounded jihadist positions in Kobane in recent days in a bid to prevent the town's fall.

The U.S. military said in a statement that four more air strikes had hit IS near Kobane on Monday and Tuesday, along with nine raids on the group in Iraq.

The turbans seized control of large parts of Syria and Iraq earlier this year, declaring an Islamic "caliphate" and committing widespread atrocities.

The group's growing power and influence has raised global concerns but Washington and its allies have so far refused to commit to deploying ground forces against the jihadists.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called Tuesday for an "integrated strategy" in the fight against IS and repeated calls to support the anti-Damascus Free Syrian Army
... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund...
Turkey has urged the global community to combine the fight against IS with wider support for the uprising against Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Oppressor of the Syrians and the Lebs...
's regime.

Davutoglu said he wanted the FSA to control Kobane if the jihadists are defeated, not the forces of separatist Kurds or Assad.

The United States should "equip and train the Free Syrian Army so that if ISIS leaves, the regime should not come," he said, using another name for IS.

"If ISIS leaves the PKK bully boyz should not come, if ISIS is eliminated, the brutal massacres should not continue," he added.

Turkey is fearful that Kobane could be taken over by Kurds allied to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) which has waged a three-decade insurgency for self rule and is regarded as a terrorist group by Turkey, the United States and most of Europe.

* FYI SAME > FSA, AL-NUSRA SIGN NON-AGRESSION PACT IN ALEPPO.

Please correct me iff I'm wrong, but isn't this the same AL-NUSRA AQ-affiliate whom made peace + is back to being BFF wid fellow AQ-Affiliate ISIS/ISIL.

AL-NUSRA = ISIS IN ALEPPO, + VICE-VERSA???

And is not the FSA one of POTUS Bammer's principal groups to fight the new ISIS/ISIL threat???

I predict this will NOT end well.

U.S. Gov't steps up security at Federal buildings
The U.S. government is stepping up security at federal buildings in response to the recent killing of a Canadian soldier near that country’s parliament and continuing threats from groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.

“I have directed the Federal Protective Service to enhance its presence and security at various U.S. government buildings in Washington, D.C., and other major cities and locations around the country,” Johnson said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

“The reasons for this action are self-evident: the continued public calls by terrorist organizations for attacks on the homeland and elsewhere, including against law enforcement and other government officials, and the acts of violence targeted at government personnel and installations in Canada and elsewhere,” the Homeland Security chief said.

Johnson called the move “precautionary” and said the locations getting extra attention “will be continually re-evaluated.”

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) welcomed the administration’s move.

“ISIS is waging a campaign of war over the Internet to incite homegrown violent extremism in the United States. We must do everything we can to protect every American abroad and at home,” McCaul said in a statement. “Secretary Johnson’s efforts are to be commended, and no public servant should rest until this evil is rooted out and demolished.

Friend of accused Boston Marathon bomber found guilty of lying
[ARABNEWS] A US jury on Tuesday found a college friend of the accused Boston Marathon bomber guilty of lying to authorities in a terrorism investigation.

Robel Phillipos, 21, was charged with lying about having visited suspected bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaevâs dorm room three days after the 2013 attack that killed three people and injured more than 260.

Phillipos and two friends removed a backpack containing empty fireworks shells from the suspected bomberâs room.

Phillipos, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was on trial for two criminal counts of lying to investigators, one for saying he did not remember the visit and one for denying it. He later signed a written confession admitting to it, following an FBI interrogation.

Philliposâ attorneys had contended that their client was too intoxicated on marijuana the day of the visit to have a clear memory of his actions on April 18, 2013, and thus could not have lied.

Over seven days of testimony, a series of FBI agents testified that Phillipos gave conflicting statements about the visit to Tsarnaevâs room at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth before signing a statement that he did go.

Of the two friends who accompanied him, both Kazakh exchange students, Azamat Tazhayakov was convicted in July and Dias Kadyrbayev pleaded guilty in August of removing a backpack from the room during a massive manhunt for the bomber.

Defense witnesses included Philliposâ college and high school friends, who testified to his marijuana use and former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, a family friend, who described Phillipos as having been confused during his FBI interviews.

Tsarnaev, 21, is awaiting trial on charges that carry the death penalty. His brother, who prosecutors said helped carry out the bombing, died after a shootout with police late on the night of April 18, 2013.

Salman Taseer's killer incited shooting of elderly blasphemy inmate: inquiry
[DAWN] Mumtaz Qadri, a policeman incarcerated
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
for murdering Punjab governor Salman Taseer, in a religiously-motivated attack incited a prison guard to shoot an elderly British man convicted of blasphemy, according to an internal inquiry.

Mohammad Asghar, whom British doctors say is seriously mentally ill, was shot and maimed by a guard at Adiyala jail in Rawalpindi last month.

The 70-year-old was sentenced to death for blasphemy in January for claiming to be a prophet in a case that has prompted concern from British Prime Minister David Cameron
... has stated that he is certainly a big Thatcher fan, but I don't know whether that makes me a Thatcherite, which means he's not. Since he is not deeply ideological he lacks core principles and is easily led. He has been described as certainly not a Pitt, Elder or Younger, but he does wear a nice suit so maybe he's Beau Brummel ...
.

The prison guard Mohammad Yousuf had spent more than two weeks guarding Qadri, who killed Taseer three years ago, a senior jail official said.

He said an initial inquiry by a four-member committee found that Qadri had also prepared two other prison officers to hunt down blasphemy convicts in the prison.

"The accused [Yousuf] was deployed outside the cell of Mumtaz Qadri during the incident and he had confessed to taking religious lessons from him," the jail official said on condition of anonymity.

The claims will heighten concerns about staff being radicalised by hardline inmates in aging and overcrowded prisons.

Qadri, who was Taseer's bodyguard, shot him dead at an Islamabad coffee shop over the politician's call for blasphemy laws to be reformed.

Qadri was feted as a hero by a wide section of the public, including lawyers, and was even showered with rose petals as he arrived at court for a trial hearing.

The official's account of events was supported by three other prisoners held in the same part of the jail, who said guards regularly took religious instruction from Qadri.

"I was sleeping when I woke to the sound of gunshots and I saw the prison staff grabbing one of their fellows while Asghar was lying on the ground in a pool of blood," an inmate living next to Asghar's cell said.

A second prisoner who saw the attack said a guard appeared in the wing and demanded to know where Asghar was.

"The prison staff usually shout at us and I thought Asghar's family or lawyers must have sent him something, so I didn't pay any attention, but then I heard the first gunshot," the prisoner said.

He said Asghar was trying to hide in the bathroom area of his cell while the gunman was firing at him.

"He was lucky that he reached the bathroom and the other prison staff arrived to grab the assassin, otherwise he would have been killed", he said.

Asghar, diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in Britannia in 2010, had declared his prophethood in court and included a reference to it on his business card, a government prosecutor said at the time of his trial.

Blasphemy is an extremely sensitive issue in Pakistain, where 97 per cent of the population is Moslem, and insulting the Prophet Muhammad (PTUI!) can carry the death penalty.

"The six months break in US drone attacks in Pakistain improved the relationship between the two countries and it was appreciated by all segments of the society," he said during a meeting with a US delegation headed by Daniel Feldman, the Special Representative for Pakistain and Afghanistan.

"United States should halt drone attacks in Pakistain permanently in order to remove a serious irritant in our relationship," he added.

The minister said that illusory sovereignty and self-respect are the cornerstones of Pakistain's relationships with other countries including the United States. "It is very important that the government of United States understands Pakistain's point of view to address the differences by concentrating on positives of our relationships."

US Unveils Coalition To Fight Islamic State In Cyberspace
[Ynet] Moslem, Western nations coordinate to halt online recruitment to radical terror group and cyber-incitement.
As is currently the case with targetting information against ISIS, Israel will no doubt be permitted to quietly provide technical aid and assistance in the background so long as any identifying markers are stripped out, lest anyone have to acknowledge the Jooooooos' existence and usefulness. One hopes the Israelis will build backdoors into every single line.
The United States on Monday unveiled what it called an information coalition with Moslem and Western nations to combat efforts by Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
to recruit online and stoke sectarian hatred through a "cult of violence".

US officials told delegates from European and Arab countries at a meeting in Kuwait that this should complement parallel campaigns against the gang on the battlefield and in the world of finance.

"There is a military coalition that is on the battlefield with Daesh (Islamic State) every day and from the very beginning the partners in the coalition... felt that there should be an information coalition that complements the military coalition," US Undersecretary of State for Public Affairs Richard Stengel told a news conference after the talks.

Worried by the growing threat from Islamist murderous Moslems after the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/ISIS/Islamic State) captured large swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria in June, Washington has been working with regional and world powers to fight the murderous Moslems militarily, financially and politically.

Campaigns by Islamic State on Twitter and other social media platforms have been slickly produced, incorporating up to the minute video and graphical techniques with battlefield footage to project an image of dynamism.

Representatives from Europe and the Middle East, including Britannia, La Belle France, Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates attended the meeting.

A joint statement said the attendees agreed to "enhancing exchanges, training and other cooperative programs for government leaders and spokespersons, actively opposing the recruitment of imported muscle and encouraging important religious and social leaders and the millions of young people who oppose violent extremism to raise their voices through traditional and social media."

Retired US General John Allen, special envoy for building the coalition against Islamic State, told participating delegates that ISIL must be exposed "for the un-Islamic cult of violence it really is".

"I strongly encourage participants to set forth tangible work plans that will directly and rapidly counter ISIL's propaganda in cyberspace and the press," he said.

Asked if the meeting discussed ways to ensure governments in the Middle East would not use the coalition to crack down on freedom of expression, Stengel said: "All the coalition partners have pledged to respect freedom of expression."

"There is a continuum between security and privacy, between security and freedom and in order to battle against ISIL nobody wanted to restrict freedom of expression and freedom of speech."

[Iraq News] On Tuesday, a security source in Kirkuk province stated that around 20 fighters within the ISIS militia in the province are Chinese nationals, and 3 Chinese militants were killed earlier in clashes southwest of Kirkuk.

The source informed IraqiNews: âIt is estimated that about 20 fighters hold Chinese citizenship are fighting alongside ISIS in Al-Huwaija, Al-Riyad, Al-Rashad in southwest of Kirkuk. The US-led airstrikes have so far led to the death of 3 Chinese fighters. There are about 12 nationals fighting alongside ISIS only in this side of the province.â

Obama Official Calls Israeli Prime Minister A 'Chickens**t'
[DAILYCALLER] "Aspergery." "Coward." "Chickenshit."

Those are just a few of the words B.O. regime officials have used to describe Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Jeffrey Goldberg, a deeply-sourced news hound at The Atlantic who covers the Middle East.

The officials' displeasure towards Netanyahu stems from disagreements over how to handle Paleostinian peace talks, as well Netanyahu's own growing frustration with President Barack Obama,
The Smartest Man in the Room...
Goldberg reported Tuesday.

Ironically, the digs also stem, in part, from Netanyahu's decision to forego preemptive strikes against Iran when it was threatening to continue its nuclear program.

"The thing about Bibi is, he's a chickenshit," an unnamed B.O. regime official told Goldberg, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

"The good thing about Netanyahu is that he's scared to launch wars," the official told Goldberg. The B.O. regime is pleased the Israelis did not launch strikes against Iran, though the threat of Israeli force was used to bring allies into line to back sanctions against the country.

"The bad thing about him is that he won't do anything to reach an accommodation with the Paleostinians or with the Sunni Arab states," the official asserted. Comparing Netanyahu to previous Israeli prime ministers and saying Netanyahu only cares about his political future, the official said, "He's got no guts."

Netanyahu is a former soldier in the Israel Defense Forces and leader in Sayeret Matkal, Israel's special forces.

Another official agreed with the first's official's assessment of Netanyahu, but used another descriptor: "coward."

"It's too late for him to do anything," the official said in reference to the aborted strikes against Iran.

"Two, three years ago, this was a possibility. But ultimately he couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger. It was a combination of our pressure and his own unwillingness to do anything dramatic. Now it's too late," said the official, talking about Israel's pullback from launching preemptive strikes against Iran.

"The feeling now is that Bibi's bluffing," the official told Goldberg.

#7  The original article was written by Jeffrey Goldberg and posted on The Atlantic web site.

It is a long article but well worth the read to get a better understanding of the full spectrum of discord between Obama and the Netanyahu administration.

The Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations Is Officially Here

The article opens up a real can of worms for speculation.

  • Jeffrey Goldberg is a known Obama sycophant and leaker. Is Obama deliberately using him to discredit Netanyahu on the world stage ?

  • Who is the Obama administration official who called Netanyahu a "chickenshit" ? Obama himself? John Kerry? Josh Earnest? Jen Psaki? Susan Rice?

  • Does Israel still have the capacity to launch a pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities ?

  • Is Obama's true political motive to throw Israel under the bus in order to achieve a weak nuclear deal with Iran?

  • What is Netanyahu's true political ambition ?

  • Will Netanyahu bypass Obama and take his case for war (with Iran) before the U.S. congress and the American public ?

  • Is Netanyahu naive? Does he actually have the courage to "pull the trigger" and attack Iran ?

  • Will Obama withdraw U.N. support from Israel to force Israel into a peace treaty with the Palestinians ?

Just a few of my own questions I came away with after reading the article.

#9  I don't doubt that much of what said happened. Since the source is hiding behind anonymity, it is difficult to respond to such tripe. Most likely, the anonymous leak was intended by Obama and Valerie.

It is a sad state of affairs in our country when you trust another country's leader more than you do Moboama. I like Netanyahu and have more respect for him than the current Occupy Pennsylvania Avenue squatter.

It is difficult to restrain myself from an extended rant.

#15  This is simultaneously hilarious and appalling. (is there a German word for that? ShadenWTF, maybe). There isn't a single senior member of BO's admin that could stand up to John Bolton's mustache in a straight-up fight, much less Netanyahu. This is just embarrassing.

Basically, our govt is accusing Bibi of being unwilling to wager the safety of his country and its people against the hope that the Paleos will finally act civilized. Given his mil background (which I didn't know about), I suspect the Israeli PM is well acquainted with the trade-offs involved with risk, opportunity and benefit.

US to sell Israel more stealth fighter jets
[Iran Press TV] The United States has agreed to sell Israel 25 more stealth fighter jets, bringing to 44 the total number of F-35s the regime has ordered.

The deal was reached after an order was placed by Moshe Ya'alon, the Israeli minister of military affairs, at a meeting with US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in Washington last week, reports said on Tuesday.

Israeli media said the deal was finalized "in recent days."

In 2010, Tel Aviv bought the first batch, 19 F-35s manufactured by US defense contractor Lockheed Martin, for $2.75 billion.

The 25 new jets are part of the options -- included in the 2010 deal ‐ that allows Israelis to purchase up to 75 planes.

The delivery of the first batch of the jets will start at the end of 2016 and will continue to 2018.

A US official told Rooters on condition of anonymity that Tel Aviv hoped to purchase 31 instead of 25 F-35s and could increase the order if Washington reduces the price.

During the latest offensive against the besieged Gazoo Strip in summer, Tel Aviv used the fighter jets to kill a large number of Paleostinians and destroy thousands of homes.

Washington pays Tel Aviv $3 billion a year in military aid.

In June, the engine of a Lockheed Martin's F-35 caught fire forcing the commanders to ground the fleet to solve the problem.

The incident made US officials to cancel plans to send the F-35 to fly at Britannia's Farnborough International Airshow in July.

Pentagon says its technicians are dealing with the matter by carrying out repairs in the test fleet.

Berkeley Muslims Prove Bill Maher’s Point
h/t Instapundit
What was it that Bill Maher said that got him into hot water with leftwingers and Muslims?

Right — he slammed their intolerance, their illiberalism. He noted that too many — not all, but far too many — Muslims respond to challenges with rage, with violence, even with murder.

Maher also criticized many on the left who turn a blind eye to that Islamic intolerance, while they slam Christians who, say, oppose being forced to furnish flowers for gay weddings.
Well, Christians won't cut of your head.

#1  All VIP leftists take note. Nobody, nobody is beyond the purge. In fact, first gens like Mahar need purging, since they have seen another way, and dissidence against it, are more likely to speak out about the new way peoples' revolutionary thinking. Cows for the slaughter, or heretics for the pyre.

Welcome to the party Mahar, but you are still a piker until they petition to keep you out of professional sports investments.

#7  Murder, Yes. If one thinks of Bill Ayers and the Weathermen, they committed murder. The Black Panthers were not opposed to occasional murder. Lee Harvey Oswald was a leftist and he is attributed with the JFK assassination. More recently, a Black Panther supported the attempted ax murder of NYC police by a Muslim extremist. New Black Panther support for Muslim extremist.
