Vape Store Clerk Has Meltdown over Customer Wearing Trump Shirt
[BREITBART] A store clerk at a vape store was fired Friday evening after he was caught on video screaming at a customer wearing a shirt that said "Trump" and a MAGA hat, demanding for him to leave and refusing to sell him anything.

"LEAVE THE STORE! LEAVE THE STORE! LEAVE THE STORE! F-CK OFF! I DON’T GIVE A F-CK, GET OUT!" the employee screamed at the customer, Ian Furgeson, who posted the video on his Facebook page on Friday afternoon.

The clerk can be seen taking a swing at Furgeson in the video and accusing Furgeson of being racist. The clerk makes a phone call, telling someone that Furgeson was wearing "some Trump bullsh-t."

"I’m not serving anyone that has to do with that f-cker," he said, referring to President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
. "He’s a treasonous a‐hole."

Furgeson proposed that the clerk sell him the vape juice he came to buy for his wife, and he would not call the police or call the store’s headquarters and get him fired. "What you did was assaulted me," he told the clerk.

The clerk reluctantly began ringing Furgeson up. After Furgeson said, "God bless America, capitalism wins again," the clerk launched into another profanity-laced tirade: "F-ck your capitalism, f-ck your f-cking president, he’s a racist stupid piece of sh-t."

The store, XHale City in Tucker, Georgia, posted on Facebook late Friday an announcement of the clerk’s firing:

"To our friends and customers," it read. "Tonight, we had an employee act improperly toward a customer. Xhale City does not tolerate this kind of behavior from its employees. When we identified the employee at fault, we fired him immediately. We’ve also spoken to the customer and apologized. We value our clients and treat them with respect and dignity, regardless of their political views."

#1  Vaping is a "smoking substitute," and clearly does not have some of the benefits of what it replaces. When I sit out in my driveway in the dilapidated office chair that substitutes for a rocker and light up a good cigar, I relax and smoke and don't have a care. It's the pure opposite of getting worked up.

Legislators spent big on lavish fundraisers ‐ but gave no grants to students
[NY Post] A nonprofit run by state lawmakers to raise scholarship money for needy minority students spends most of the cash on its lavish annual soiree ‐ including $6,000 on limos - and gave out no grants the last two years, The Post has learned.

The New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators organizes a "Caucus Weekend" ‐ a series of workshops, concerts and parties - in Albany every February for minority members of the Assembly and the Senate.

The group charges sponsors up to $50,000 for a chance to party with lawmakers at events that have included Grammy Award-winning rappers and high-profile speakers such as Hillary Clinton and Jesse Jackson.
Yes, they're Democrats...
The Presidents Day weekend bash is capped off with a swanky black-tie Scholarship Gala where participants are reminded that they are "changing lives, one scholarship at a time," according to the group's Web site and literature.

But in the last two years there has been no cash for scholarships, according to two sources ‐ a former lawmaker, and a community organizer who has relied on the money for needy students since just after the group was founded in 1985.

Federal tax filings confirm that in the 2015-16 fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30, 2016, the group gave out no educational grants ‐ despite raking in contributions totaling more than $500,000.

"I don't know what happened," said Assemblyman Gary Pretlow, a Westchester Democrat and the longtime treasurer for the group. "I just sign the checks they give me to sign."

While students went without scholarships, the lawmakers at Caucus Weekend 2016 spent $128,000 on "food service," $36,500 on music and $56,494 on "equipment rental."

The group failed to furnish The Post with the subsequent year's tax filings ‐ October 2016 to September 2017 ‐ despite a federal law requiring it to do so.

The group had its charitable status temporarily revoked in 2011 by the IRS after it failed to file tax returns for three consecutive years, according to federal tax documents.

When asked why the group had not given out any money to students in either year - even though scholarships are the heart of its stated mission - the lawmakers who manage the nonprofit refused to answer. The group is chaired by a president who serves a two-year term.

Assemblywoman Latrice Walker, a Brooklyn Democrat, the current chair of the nonprofit's board, who is campaigning to be the city's public advocate, said through a spokesman that she "does not have any knowledge of the matter."

State Sen. Leroy Comrie, a Queens Democrat and second-ranking board executive, did not return phone calls and e-mails, and would not emerge from his St. Albans district office when a Post reporter visited Friday. Queens Assemblywoman Michele Titus, a Democrat and the former chairwoman in 2015-16, did not return messages seeking comment.

Dems Flipped House with Out-of-State Money
[USA Today] The Democrats who captured the House by flipping 43 districts from red to blue received on average just over half of their large-dollar campaign funds from outside their states, another example of the nationalization of the November election that was a rebuke to President Donald Trump.
The nationalization of the election was the rebuke? I guess I ain't woke enough to comprehend.
The defeated Republicans in those districts, by contrast, collected only about one-third of their itemized funds from outside their states, according to a USA TODAY analysis of funding data collected by the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics.

That doesn’t include all small-dollar donations which don’t have to be identified by donor, but which were also maximized by Democrats this year. One fundraising vehicle, for example, allowed Missouri freelance writer Robin Burks to give $4.68 a month ‐ or 1 cent to each of the 435 House races and 33 Senate races contested in November.
Fascinating. But illogical, Captain.
Top large-dollar contributors to the winning Democrats included not just regular Democratic mega donors like Florida financier S. Donald Sussman and billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer.

"We were all in on flipping the House," said Steyer, who also spent millions of dollars mobilizing voters. "That was our No. 1 bottom line. It's all about power."
First we flip the House, then we impeach the Orange Man.
But they also included Seth Klarman, the head of a Boston-based private investment firm who used to give to primarily Republican causes.
Seth has a personal fortune estimated at US$1.50 billion. In 2015, Klarman was listed as the 15th highest earning hedge fund manager in the world.
And top donors included people like Barbara Karplus, a semi-retired teacher from California with little history of political giving, who cut back on her classroom hours to focus on researching which candidates to support. Among those she backed were 30 of the Democrats in the districts that flipped. She gave them more than $100,000 combined.
Wow. My sister should've taught in her district! Barbara hasn't made it to Wikipedia, however.
The Democrats who flipped GOP seats raised a combined $236 million compared to $142 million raised by the Republicans. On average, about 51 percent of itemized contributions to Democrats came from outside their states. That’s despite the fact that House candidates typically draw the most money from in-state donors, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Then there was the Senate, where the Dim blew $70 million to try to unseat Ted Cruz in Texas.

#2  I really think the only way to straighten this out is to limit all campaigns at all levels to $10. Total.

#4  Politics is money. People with money want things from politicians. Their money will get to the politicians. Efforts should focus on revealing what money politicians are getting from whom, not trying to prevent money from flowing to politicians.

Lou Dobbs says Gowdy and Goodlatte are JUST AS CRIMINAL as Mueller and Hillary!!!
[Right Scoop] In our last post we saw how the rabid insane left is screaming "traitor" at their political opponents over relatively minor grievances. Luckily, no one, especially not Lou Dobbs, does the same thing on our side.

Also, he is saying that Republicans Trey Gowdy and Bob Goodlatte are JUST AS criminal as the nefarious Robert Mueller and his girlfriend Hillary Clinton!!! That’s because their report released yesterday didn’t have the evidence of a the massive Hillary-FBI-DOJ-Soros conspiracy that he and Hannity have been pushing soo heartily on their very intelligent viewers.

California Voter Roll Errors
Published November 1, 2018. Easy to see why this didn't make the LA Times.
[Santa Clarita Gazette] When people think of "voter fraud," they probably mean "voter impersonation," in which a person not eligible to vote votes under the name of someone who is eligible, votes more than once or pretends to be another eligible voter.

It was for this kind of fraud that Donald Trump, soon after taking office, went on Twitter and called for "a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered in two states, those who are illegal and even those registered to vote who are dead." He claimed that this fraud was the reason he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton.

In fact, this kind of fraud is extremely rare and has never been proven to affect an election’s outcome.
Nor has it ever been proven to have a minor effect on elections.
But there are other worries surrounding elections, such as the reliability of accurate voter rolls.

According to Meuser, the problems have little to do with whether a person can prove their identity. Rather, he said, the state needs to do a better job at verifying citizenship (only American citizens can vote), residences, and that the address listed is actually a residence.

An area he said should be examined is jury-service summons. He said he found some 449,000 people returning jury summonses saying they’re not American citizens and, therefore, aren’t eligible to serve on juries. They’re also not eligible to vote, but Meuser wonders how many of these people ended up voting.
However, these could be citizens who don't want to serve on a jury.
In fact, Padilla’s office announced this month that between April and September, 1,500 people who signed up for driver licenses at Department of Motor Vehicles offices accidentally were registered to vote because of DMV employee errors. Some of those people are non-citizens. The Los Angeles Times reported that Padilla canceled those registrations upon discovery, but he couldn’t say if any had voted in the June primary.

Meuser also found from looking at statewide databases (access the Gazette does not have and, therefore, cannot verify), 23,108 people with a birthdate older than the recognized oldest person in the state (birthdate: July 24, 1906) were registered to vote, and 16,780 voted in the 2016 election.
But that had no effect on any election, right?
"There are two explanations: Somebody has fraud going on or the county registrar is failing to uphold the law," Meuser said, adding that state law requires registration forms to include a date of birth; forms are to be returned if it’s missing.

Meuser also found that 75 people listed a fictitious address in Malibu when they registered to vote; 15 of those people actually voted. "OK, where do they really reside?" Meuser said. "What’s going on? We don’t know."

Furthermore, he said, 10 people listed a jewelry store in San Diego as their residence; six voted. Twelve listed a miniature golf course, 31 listed a check-cashing store in Gardena, and 16 listed a non-existent Long Beach hotel.

"They are diluting the vote of the people who live in that district," Meuser said.
That's the issue, girls and boys. Period. The end.
None of these numbers are very large, and many might argue that such infinitesimal numbers wouldn’t affect and election. Meuser acknowledges that a major race such as president or governor might not be affected, but down-the-ballot races could.

"Bernie Sanders won his first race (mayor of Burlington, Vt.) by 10 votes," Meuser said. "Seventy-five people in a precinct could flip a mayoral race, a city council race, a supervisor race."
