Cairo court places five Muslim Brotherhood figures on terrorism list for 5 years
[AlAhram] A Cairo criminal court put five Moslem Brüderbund figures on the state’s terror list for a five-year period, Egypt’s official gazette revealed on Sunday.

According to the court's ruling, five runaway members of the MB have been placed on the terror list for five years. The five members are prominent MB preacher Wagdy Ghoneim and MB youth figures Abdel-Rahman Ezz and Ahmed El-Mogheir as well as Reda El-Sawy and Hany Sayid.

Courts in Egypt have already given rulings in absentia -- including a death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
in 2017 -- against Wagdy Ghoneim for inciting hatred and encouraging the murdering of coppers.

Egypt demanded Interpol to arrest him along with other MB figures, including MB youth figure Ahmed El-Mogheir, in 2017.

Ghoneim had residences in both Qatar

They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

He has faced several lawsuits and trials in Egypt since 2012 over statements considered offensive to women and Christians.

Arabia
UAE occupation force using Socotra island for tourist purposes
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The seized Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i island of Socotra now only receives tourism only through the UAE, according to a Bahraini tourist operator that made the revelation on Sunday.

A travel agency in Manama published an advertisement for individual tourist trips to the Yemeni island of Socotra via the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, with a fee of 15,000 Saudi riyals, equivalent to 5 million Yemeni riyals, according to currency rates in the city of Aden.

This comes amid complete silence of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition, without benefiting from the island’s tourism revenues.

It is noteworthy that the UAE suspended flights from Yemeni airports to occupied Socotra, following the outbreak of the crisis between the pro-Saudi "Hadi" government prime minister, Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, and the Emirati forces on the island in May 2018. Bin Daghr was tossed in October of the same year, and Maeen Abdulmalik was appointed as his successor.

Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century...
intervened in the aftermath of that crisis, and the UAE participated in the occupation of the island by sending its forces to the city of Hadibu, the capital of the Socotra archipelago, which contributed to the overthrow of the city in the hands of the Emirates militia in June 2020, and the expulsion of the Islah Party authorities from the island.

'Om' and 'Allah' are the same: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind chief triggers controversy
[OneIndia] On Friday, Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind
...the Deobandi caliphatist group also spelt Jamiat Ulema e Hind...
president Mahmood Madani said India belongs to him as much as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Days after targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying India belongs to him as much as the PM, Jamaat Ulema-e-Hind chief Mahmood Madani on Sunday triggered a controversy why equating Om with Allah.

According to him, 'Om', the prime symbol of Hinduism, and 'Allah', the term for God by Moslems, are the same.
Until they get in a snit, when only Moslems will be allowed to say Allah again. That’s what happened in Malaysia a few years ago.
Addressing a gathering at the three-day plenary session of Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, he said, "I asked dharma guru when there was no one, neither Shri Ram, nor Brahma, then whom did they use to worship? Some people told me that they used to worship Om. Then I told them that Om is called Allah by us, Ishwar by you (Hindus), Khuda by Farsi (Persian) speaking people and God by English speaking people,"
That there is what they call dawa (outreach) — the stage before the unbelievers accept Islam (surrender). It’s utter nonsense, of course, if one looks at how each of those personages is defined, but Allah is pleased to describe himself as the Lord of Lies, among other unexpected descriptors.
After the address of Jamaat Ulema-e-Hind chief Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, Acharya Lokesh Muni (Jain Muni) present on the stage expressed displeasure over his remarks and said, "We do not agree with his (Arshad Madani) statement. We just agree to live in harmony with each other."

Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind is a century-old organization and works for the protection of the civil, religious, cultural and educational rights of Moslems. Jamaat claims to be the largest organization of Moslems and socio-political and religious issues of Moslems remain on its agenda. The Jamaat believes in the Deobandi ideology of Islam, PTI reported.
That’s like Salafism, but based in India instead of Arabia.
Speaking at the inaugural plenary session of Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital, Maulana Madani said, "India is our country. This country belongs to Mahmood Madani as much as it belongs to Narendra Modi and Mohan Bhagwat. Neither Mahmood is an inch ahead of them nor are they one inch ahead of Mahmood."

He claimed that Islam is the oldest religion in this country.
Another lie, but do go on.
"This land is the first homeland of Moslems. Saying that Islam is a religion that came from outside is totally wrong and baseless.

Islam is the oldest religion among all religions.
You may make that claim for Heaven, but on Earth it is over 2000 years younger than Judaism, 700 years younger than Christianity, and several thousand years younger than generic paganism.
India is the best country for Hindi Moslems," Madani said.

The Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind chief stated that they are against forced religious conversions and alleged that today people who are converting their religion voluntarily are also being sent to jail on false charges.

He said, "We are against religious conversion driven forcibly. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right. We are also against conversion by force, fraud and greed. There are many examples of agencies targeting the Moslem community, such as the ban on Namaz, police action on them, and bulldozer action."

Pakistan Orders a Complete Ban of Visa Issuance to Afghan Nationals
They ruined it for everybody.
[KhaamaPress] The Foreign Ministry of Pakistain in a letter sent to all its embassies in European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
countries has ordered a complete visa ban for Afghan nationals/origins, effective from February 8.

The Pakistain Foreign Ministry relates this decision to the issuance of 1600 visas to Afghans origins who had provided fake Swedish residence cards.

A formal letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistain which went viral on social media last week indicates that Pakistain Embassy in Sweden had granted 1600 to Afghan citizens based on fake residence cards. The foreign ministry has ordered an immediate investigation regarding this scandal.

The letter was issued on February 8 and recently went viral on social media. The letter was addressed Pakistain Diplomatic Mission in European cities including London, Glasgow, Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Berlin, Frankfort, Lisbon, Athens, Vienna, Berne, Copenhagen, Oslo, Brussels, The and Hague.

It is still not clear how long the ban will be in place as the investigations over the 1600 issued visas have already begun, and the issuance of visas is banned until further notice.

The latest decision by the Foreign Ministry of Pakistain has negatively affected Afghan nationals currently residing in Pakistain. Their family members in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
cannot come to visit them in Pakistain due to the imposed visa ban, and it has disrupted their personal plans, said one Afghan national in Islamabad.

Since the overthrow of the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan, the Pak government has limited the issuance of visas to Afghan nationals to a great extent.

India-held Kashmir sees most internet outages globally in 2022
And how much does Pakistan have to do with that?
[Dawn] RESIDENTS of India-held Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
experienced more internet shutdowns and restrictions than any other region in 2022, including Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
and Russia, according to a new report.

More than a fifth of all web blackouts took place in held Kashmir, according to Surfshark, a virtual private network company headquartered in Lithuania, the Voice of America reported.

The VPN company’s global report on internet censorship in 2022 — released mid-January — found 32 countries were hit by a total of 112 restrictions. Almost all came during times of protest or unrest.

India-held Kashmir ranked alongside Russia — where Moscow moved to cut access to social media and news amid its invasion of Ukraine; Iran, where blocks came amid mass protests that started in September; and India, where Surfshark documented cuts in service at times of unrest.

Overall, Asia led the world for internet disruptions, accounting for 47 per cent of all global cases. An estimated 4.2 billion people experienced internet censorship throughout the year, Surfshark found.

Surfshark’s Internet Censorship Tracker analyses reports from the news media and digital rights organizations such as Netblocks and Access Now, and collects data from social media companies to document cases.

Surfshark spokesperson Gabriele Racaityte-Krasauske told VOA that in occupied Kashmir, the internet was shut down for a total of 456 hours in 2022. "All were cases of full internet restrictions on a local level," she said.

India-held Kashmir has experienced restricted and blocked internet regularly since 2019, when Indian authorities revoked the region’s special autonomous status.

Data from the home department of the India-held Jammu and Kashmir shows 49 internet suspension orders were issued last year.

Authorities have said the blocks were intended to prevent the spread of "misinformation and maintain public order" in the wake of security-related incidents and political unrest in Kashmir, VOA said.

But local journalists and analysts have said the blocks are also used to prevent critical reporting in the region.

In its 2022 report Suspension of Telecom/Internet Services and Its Impact, India’s parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology said that guidelines on internet blocks needed to be established and noted that no database currently exists in the country to track such orders.

Arab League Hot Air Fest in Cairo: Abbas says PA to request full UN membership, cites ‘battle raging over Jerusalem’, Sissi sez J’lem Paleo cause

says the PA will ask the United Nations
...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society...
this week to grant full membership to the "State of Paleostine."

The comments, which Abbas makes during a meeting a meeting on Jerusalem held at the Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
’s headquarters in Cairo, come as the US has urged both Israel and the Paleostinians to refrain from unilateral moves amid a recent spike in violence that has included a number of deadly terror attacks on Israelis and shootouts between IDF troops and Paleostinian button men in the West Bank.

Abbas says the Paleostinians will urge the UN to call on Israel to halt unilateral actions, specifically citing settlement construction, and to "adhere to the signed agreements and resolutions of international legitimacy," according to a statement carried by the PA’s official Wafa news agency.

"Supporting Jerusalem and strengthening the steadfastness of those staying there and in its environs is a religious duty and a humanitarian and national imperative," he is quoted as saying.

He continues: "The battle raging over Jerusalem did not only begin on the day of its occupation in 1967, but several decades prior to that, and even before the Balfour Declaration which was issued by the colonial powers, led by Britannia and America."

Abbas claims the 1917 declaration, in which Britannia’s government backed the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in the Land of Israel, was aimed at "getting rid of the Jews in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and establishing the so-called Jewish national home in Paleostine, to be an outpost to safeguard the interests of these colonial countries."

"Just as our people rejected the Balfour Declaration and its results, we also rejected all attempts to liquidate our cause or falsify the facts about it," he says.

Egypt’s Sissi says Jerusalem ‘the backbone of the Palestinian cause’

[IsraelTimes] Dozens of leaders and bigwigs from Arab and Islamic countries condemn recent Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the West Bank, where violence has surged between Israel and the Paleostinians.

The meeting in Cairo is hosted by the Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
and attended by President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi of Egypt, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
along with many foreign ministers and bigwigs.

Calling Jerusalem "the backbone of the Paleostinian cause," Sissi warns of dire repercussions of any Israeli move to change the status quo of the holy site, saying thos would "negatively impact" future negotiations to settle the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict.

He says such measures would impede the long-sought two-state solution to the conflict, which would leave "both parties and the whole Middle East with difficult and grave options."

Sissi, whose country was the first Arab nation to establish diplomatic ties with Israel, calls on the international community to "reinforce the two-state solution and create conducive conditions for the resumption of the grinding of the peace processor."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Gaza residents speak of Hamas' brutality amid desires for peace in the region
[FoxNews] Hamas reportedly sent bot armies to bring down the organization’s distribution platforms while doctoring some of the clips

Violent crackdowns, arbitrary arrests, trumped-up police charges, imprisonments, and even live ammunition to deter innocent women, children and people with disabilities from demanding basic rights such as electricity are just a few of the heartbreaking testimonies from the Gaza Strip captured in a series of video clips published recently by the U.S.-based Center for Peace Communications.

The series, "Whispered In Gaza," which uses animation and voice-altering technology to protect the identity of the speakers, offers a rare and unfiltered glimpse into life in the poverty-stricken, embattled Palestinian enclave. But the anger and fears expressed by those who bravely share their stories are not directed toward their neighbor, Israel. Rather, their criticisms and despair are aimed at their autocratic rulers: Hamas.

"Your own thoughts are taken away from you when you walk down the street, the walls are covered in pictures, slogans and stories of the Hamas leadership and you feel like you’re in a war zone. Is this a city or a military barracks?" asks one man, who the video calls "Iyad."

"Gaza is a city. Yet they’ve penetrated it down to the walls, the billboards, even the odor," he continues. "The city has taken on a vibe of backwardness, inhumanity, militarism. At any moment it could be fired from, fired upon – missile strikes, response, repeat. We are conditioned to this."

In another of the clips, "Ahmed" recounts how the electric company, accompanied by the Hamas-controlled police, arrived to turn off the supply in his neighborhood. Those that tried to stop them, including Ahmed’s cousin, a boy with Down syndrome, were beaten and fired on with live rounds. When Ahmed decided to document the injuries and uploaded a video to the internet, he was forced into hiding for three days before the Hamas authorities caught and jailed him.

"I’m not trying to make you think I’m a hero," he says in his testimony. "I’m just one of the thousands of people who have dealt with similar situations and worse."

"When unpleasant videos come out, like the one of hundreds of Gazans celebrating the carnage in Jerusalem last week, they form the impression that Gazans are squarely behind Hamas and that’s exactly what Hamas wants," Joseph Braude, founder and president of the Center for Peace Communications, told Fox News Digital in an interview.

"Hamas claims that the people are wrapped around the resistance, that is their claim to legitimacy, but the reality is that the hundreds who turn out for such events are not a cross-section of the millions who stay home," he said.

A designated terrorist organization, according to the U.S., EU and Israel, Hamas has maintained an iron-clad grip on Gaza since violently taking over the territory in 2007, after Israel unilaterally withdrew in 2005. The militant Islamist group, which receives funding and training from Iran, imposes a strict Islamic code on its two million plus residents and continues to engage in fighting Israel, including firing endless rounds of rockets and incendiary devices into Israeli territory, as well as mass protests along the border fence.

Israel, together with Egypt on its southern border, continues to maintain a tight civilian and military blockade over the area, controlling the flow of goods and humans in and out of the Strip, as well as responding to attacks perpetrated by Hamas and other militant Palestinian groups.

Braude noted, however, that recent polls show a diversity of views among Gazans, with the majority saying they are unhappy with the launch of rockets from their territory and blaming Hamas for initiating the wars with Israel. There is also deep resentment at Hamas’ leaders for leaving the Strip or hiding out in bunkers, while civilians suffer the casualties from these on-going flare-ups.

"The people in Gaza don’t trust them [Hamas] but they’re repressed," Braude said, adding that many even refer to Hamas, not Israel, as the occupying force in Gaza.

Michael Milshtein, head of the Palestinian Studies Forum at the Dayan Center in Tel Aviv University, Israel, told Fox News Digital that the videos were an accurate reflection of attitudes in the Gaza Strip and that in his estimation only around 25% of the population – mostly Hamas members and their families – supported the Hamas government.

"I talk a lot with people in Gaza and it is quite clear that the majority of the public there is suffering and strongly opposes the Hamas administration," he said. "The big problem, however, is that there is a deep fear of Hamas and a clear understanding that any protests against the organization will be met with great force."

Milshtein said there had been some civilian protests in recent years, mainly due to the dire economic situation, but that "at the moment, Hamas is still strong and while the possibility of another outbreak of protests against them exists, I’m not sure it will be effective."

Braude said the goal of the project was not only to "help Gazans break the blockade" imposed by Hamas but also to spark a new conversation on the situation worldwide.

Since its launch two weeks ago, the Whispers In Gaza series, which was featured by an array of independent media outlets and is available in six languages – Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Persian – has garnered some three million views, with the largest audiences being in the Arab world and North America.

In Gaza, Hamas reportedly reacted angrily to the videos sending bot armies to bring down the organization’s distribution platforms and doctoring some of the clips with their own voiceovers. In one of the altered versions, Braude said, the testimony of a Palestinian mother describing anxiety over sending her children to a Hamas-run school was changed to the voice of a mother expressing pride at her child joining the resistance.

Monitoring broader reaction to the videos across social media, Braude said, "we’ve seen the beginnings of what we’d like to achieve, which, in a nutshell, is to start a new conversation about what’s happening in Gaza – a conversation that is wider and more thorough than the polemics which bubble up whenever there’s a war."

"We interviewed dozens of people inside Gaza on the condition that we would not show their faces, and we would alter their voices and we brought a team of very creative animators, musicians, artists, to turn their voices into, I think, quite beautiful videos that in some ways, are more memorable in the way that they depict these people’s lives artistically," he explained.

Iran releases reformist journalist on bail week after arrest
[IsraelTimes] Iranian authorities have released journalist Elnaz Mohammadi from the Hammihan newspaper on bail one week after her arrest, media reports say, but her sister, also a news hound, remains in jug.

Elnaz Mohammadi was detained after going to the prosecutor’s office "for an explanation," but has since been "released from Evin prison on bail," the reformist daily Hammihan reports today.

Her sister Elahe Mohammadi was arrested on September 29 after reporting for Hammihan from the funeral of Mahsa Amini, and remains in jug.

The funeral procession in Amini’s hometown of Saqez in Kurdistan province turned into one of the first protest actions, followed by more than four months of unrest.

Elahe Mohammadi was charged with "propaganda against the system and conspiracy to act against national security."

Authorities say hundreds of people, including dozens of security personnel, have been killed during protests.

Thousands of Iranians, including public figures, journalists, and lawyers have been arrested.

Ten of the journalists arrested over the protests are still in jug, Tehran Journalists Association said.
