Pro-Hamas protesters crash White House Correspondents Dinner
[NYPOST] Anti-Israel protesters ran amok outside of the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, draping a massive Palestinian flag over the side of the venue and shouting at President Biden’s motorcade and guests as they headed inside.

Some protesters even stormed the red carpet at the star-studded event, video shows.

Hundreds of demonstrators descended on the Washington D.C. Hilton Hotel Saturday night where Biden will take the stage and crack jokes as part of the annual charity dinner with White House reporters.

Footage from the scene shows a mob of delighted protesters cheering after the Palestinian flag unfurled from one of the hotel’s top floors.

The activists lined the entranceway to the dinner and yelled in the faces of well-dressed celebrities as they headed inside, another video shows.

Lebanon's Hezbollah launches drone, missile attacks against Israel
[Iran Press TV] The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has launched a wave of drone and missile attacks on the Israeli regime hours after two of its fighters were killed in Israeli attacks targeting border areas in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said in a statement late on Saturday that its explosive drones and guided missiles had hit military targets in the Al Manara settlement as well as a gathering of Israeli forces concentrated in the 51st Battalion of the regime’s Golani Brigade.

The anti-Israeli operation was large in size compared to similar attacks launched by Hezbollah in recent weeks.

It came as an apparent response to Israel’s attacks earlier on Saturday on areas in southern Lebanon that killed three people, including two Hezbollah fighters.

Hezbollah had issued separate statements saying the fighters, who it said were martyred on the path to liberate the Israeli-occupied al-Quds, had been from the villages of Kafr Kila and Khiam, located in areas near Lebanon’s border with the occupied Palestinian territories.

Surprise, AZ homeowner gives burglars big surprise
[Breitbart] A homeowner in Surprise, Arizona, shot and wounded one of two alleged burglary suspects shortly after 4:00 a.m. Monday.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported that officers responded to the scene and took both suspects into custody. The suspect who had been shot was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the suspects was identified as 19-year-old Kason Nelson. The name of the second was not released, as he is a juvenile.

AZ Family noted that Nancy McCraven, the homeowner’s neighbor, said, "It’s almost unthinkable, especially in the early morning hours. You never think it’s going to happen, especially in a nice quiet neighborhood like this and it’s always quiet."

Welcome to protest season, where the cause changes but the tactics stay the same
[AZCentral] It’s protest season. Again.

This time, the Israel-Hamas conflict is the pretext for activists to block freeways, vandalize buildings and occupy universities.

Protesters took over Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus, renaming it the Gaza Solidarity Encampment.

An estimated 800 students set up tents before replacing the American flag with a Hamas banner. They chanted Islamist slogans, told Jewish students to "go back to Europe" and menaced anyone who disagreed.

Being a prestigious Ivy League school (annual cost of nearly $90,000), Columbia administrators quickly shut down the unrest.

Just kidding, they canceled in-person classes, as during the pandemic. Seems $90K doesn’t buy what it used to.

This week, the occupation has spread to other campuses, including Harvard and Yale, where a Jewish student was stabbed in the eye.

Students tried a similar stunt at the University of Texas, but the Lone Star State wasn’t having it.

Although Columbia’s organizers have tried to keep out the press, videos have spread across social media. The anger and chaos recalls scenes from 1934 Germany.

What were initially sold as anti-Israel protests quickly dissolved into pro-Hamas, antisemitic mobs.

Although 2024’s target is new, at least for America, we’ve witnessed the same tactics summer after summer after summer. Only the cause has changed.

Every year presents a new excuse to hoist signs, spray-paint buildings and shatter glass. Let’s review recent history.

It's the latest in a string of causes to protest

In 2017, the Women’s March was launched in reaction to the #MeToo revelations, while in 2018, the anti-gun March for Our Lives dominated headlines. Neither attracted much violence; you could find that at anti-Trump protests.

In 2019, Greta Thunberg grimaced at the United Nations over climate change, which apparently was solved by blocking traffic and throwing tomato soup on Van Gogh paintings. This Monday was Earth Day, but it didn’t get much coverage. Environmentalism is so five years ago.

But those annoying COVID restrictions were put on hold back in 2020, just as the virus was at its peak. Black Lives Matter protests swamped cities from coast-to-coast, often peaceful during the day but turning ugly by night.

Downtown Seattle was turned into the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone while Portland burned for months.

What uproar are we planning for 2025?

One year, statues are toppled and the next, Jews are bullied, but it’s amazing how the far-left treats such wildly diverse issues with the same small toolbox.

It has ever been thus. As one radical wrote for a Students for a Democratic Society publication in the 1960s, "The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution."

All the topics cited above are important issues for public debate. Sexism in the workplace to gun control to wars abroad, each is worthy of media attention, no matter the year.

What’s bizarre is the singular focus on one moral panic each summer to the exclusion of everything else. Earth Day was huge in 2019, while in 2022 it was met with a yawn.

Talking heads denounced guns in 2018; four years later, guns didn’t matter unless used by police.

These mass demonstrations used to be more localized, such as Occupy Wall Street or the unrest in Ferguson, Mo. Today, they are global, and the new cause is released with the regularity of a new car model’s marketing campaign.

New Bombshell Evidence Emerges: Was Trump Set Up in Classified Docs Saga?

This week in Florida, Judge Aileen Cannon unsealed a trove of new documents that Jack Smith fought to keep hidden. And you'll soon find out why. Among the documents unsealed were extensive exhibits, motions, and other filings shedding light on the intricate web of communication between the Biden White House and the National Archives and Records Administration in the lead-up to Trump's indictment.

Investigative journalist Julie Kelly found something interesting in the documents that could change everything. The first things is testimony from an FBI agent who testified that the General Services Association (GSA) had been in possession of Trump's boxes in Virginia before ordering Trump's team to come get them.

"So an entire pallet full of boxes that had been held by GSA somewhere outside of DC is dumped at Mar-a-Lago," Kelly notes. "Apparently these are the boxes that ended up containing papers with 'classified markings.'"

"I will double check indictment but I don't recall this event in the timeline," she added.

So, it appears that the Biden administration may have been responsible for shipping classified information to Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. This development is significant because Trump has previously blamed the GSA for packing the boxes that contained the classified documents, only to later accuse Trump of essentially stealing them and using that as pretext for sending the FBI to raid his Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022.

"It was a set-up from the get-go," remarked Tom Fitton, the founder of Judicial Watch.

Why Karnataka is in thick of Muslim quota row
[TimesOfIndia] PM Modi, addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha constituency, accused the Congress of attempting to diminish the quotas for SCs, STs and OBCs and of advocating reservation for Muslims contrary to the spirit of the Constitution. He cited Congress’ endeavour to introduce a 5% quota for Muslims in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as a “pilot project” for nationwide implementation. Modi criticized the inclusion of Muslims in the OBC list in Karnataka by Congress, labelling it as a reservation along religious lines.

MUSLIM POPULATION IN KARNATAKA
As per data from the National Commission for Backward Classes, Karnataka has a Muslim population of 12.9%. Out of the 32% reservation for OBCs, a subcategory comprising 4% was reserved for Muslims in the state.

COMMISSIONS THAT BROUGHT MUSLIMS UNDER OBC CATEGORY
In 1975, the then state Backward Classes Commission chairman LG Havanur presented a report to the govt of D Devaraj Urs, a prominent advocate of backward classes’ interests. This report recognized Muslims as eligible for reservation, leading to their categorization under backward communities alongside other groups like scheduled castes and tribes. In March 1977, a directive was issued granting reservation to backward classes, including Muslims. Later, commissions chaired by Venkata Swamy and Justice O Chinnappa Reddy further affirmed Muslims’ status as a backward class. The classification evolved over time, with subsequent commissions like the one led by Prof Ravivarma Kumar, refining the structure. Currently, 36 Muslim communities listed in Categories 1 and 2A are included in the central OBC list, subject to non-inclusion in the ‘creamy layer’ based on an annual income threshold of Rs 8 lakh.

BJP’ S UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT TO REMOVE RESERVATION
Before the Karnataka assembly polls last year, the then CM Basavaraj Bommai proposed on March 27, 2023, to eliminate categories 3A and 3B for OBCs. Instead, he suggested new categories 2C and 2D, with a 2% reservation each for Vokkaliga and Lingayat communities. The administration also aimed to remove the 2B category for Muslims and include them in the 10% quota for economically weaker sections (EWS). However, this sparked opposition and legal challenges, resulting in the shelving of the proposal. On April 13, 2023, the Supreme Court deemed the govt’s decision to scrap the 4% OBC quota for Muslims as “prima facie shaky and flawed”. Consequently, the Bommai govt halted new appointments or admissions based on the contentious order. The court has suspended the govt decision, maintaining the existing reservation.

LEAKED: Secret Recording Shows Dem Governor Slamming Border Patrol for Seizing Drugs
[RedState] A secret recording was leaked on Friday showing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham slamming Joe Biden's border policies, but not for the reason one might think. Her anger at the administration wasn't for not securing the border. Instead, her anger was being pointed at Border Patrol agents for doing their job and seizing drugs.

How this recording made it into the public eye is not yet known, but as you'll see, this isn't going to help her already-shot credibility.

LUJAN GRISHAM: I'm going to put extra borders going and beyond, for the love of God, put him at the border in Sunland Park where I don't have a single border patrol agent, not one, and people pour over, and so I'm cranky with the secretary. He knew that was coming, he did not say a word to me. Politico wants to write an article. Every single major press group is asking repeatedly, basically accusing me of being feckless, and uh, Huffington Post, I mean, they're all going to write about it.

They're saying that they are worried about fentanyl so they're taking all of our cannibis, and they tried to, and they're detaining people. We've never done that. We just use discretion, and look the other way. But the press also knows that the bad Border Patrol is taking a hard stance, and the only way is either we have to adjust it or I have to send you a letter saying, "You're persecuting the states, you are not using your discretion, you are not working with me on immigration," and I don't want to send that letter, but I'm boxed in hard.

Her words are just incredible. With all the problems in New Mexico and at the Southern Border, her concern is about the supposed bad press she may receive from drug shipments being seized. In her comments, she expressed outrage that the "bad Border Patrol" are doing their jobs and taking cannabis shipments when they stop vehicles.

For full context, she appears to be talking about in-state-grown marijuana, which Democrats have deemed "legal" in the state. Federal law still prohibits it, though. It is not the Border Patrol's place to "look the other way" and break the law to help out a left-wing governor's drug trade.

LUJAN GRISHAM: Here's what also the secretary said to me, just so you know: "Oh, who cares? They make a lot of money." Well, first of all, (inaudible) so I was really offended by that. Shame on him, and then secondly, we're the only state that lets baby producers in. If they lose a load, their business goes belly up. Yeah, I thought that was really inappropriate. Whatever you all want to do about that, it was really inappropriate.

Yeah, if you can, I've held off the press so I'll send it to you. You know I got a nasty "The governor is feckless, and she's going to let Biden walk all over her." I can't have that.

It is incredibly tone-deaf to whine about the Biden administration, not for its horrible pro-illegal immigration policies, but for some rank-and-file agents doing what they swore to do, which is uphold the laws as they stand today. Lujan Grisham is more worried about facilitating drugs in her state than helping her residents, and that says a lot about her failed tenure as governor.

I understand that New Mexico legalized marijuana, but as long as it remains illegal federally, there will be the risk of seizure by federal agents. Border Patrol agents are under incredible stress, and they don't have the resources to figure out who is working for a "baby producer" and who is working for the drug cartels when they make a stop. That Lujan Grisham is furious about that and not the actual border crisis is ludicrous.

Fifth Column
District of Columbia Police Reject George Washington University Request to Clear Pro-Hamas Encampment
[RedState] On Friday, the District of Columbia police department declined a request from George Washington University (GWU) officials to clear an "encampment" of students and others protesting Israel's ongoing actions in Gaza. The District police cited the "optics of moving against a small group of peaceful protestors" as one of the reasons for not acting.

Officers were prepared to move in early Friday morning but were ordered to stand down.

Officers had assembled around 3 a.m. and were prepared to enter the encampment, but senior leaders in the police chief’s and mayor’s office ordered them to stand down, the officials said. The demonstrators were small in number and largely peaceful, and the city officials told their university counterparts they wanted to avoid images of violent altercations between police and protesters flashing across TV screens across the country.

On Friday, my colleague Jeff Charles, in a related story, presented a photo of a protestor carrying a sign reading "final solution" on the GWU campus.

This is almost certainly a reference to the "final solution to the Jewish question," a WW2-era, German euphemism for the Holocaust.

There were reportedly discussions between GWU officials and the District police on what the proper response to the protests would be:

A spokeswoman for George Washington University did not answer questions about school officials’ discussions with law enforcement authorities. The school said in a statement, “After demonstrators refused multiple instructions to relocate, GWPD requested additional support from the DC Metropolitan Police to ensure the safety and security of all our community members through a measured and orderly approach.”

D.C. police also declined to comment on agency officials’ discussions with the university, and it was not immediately clear what tactics they considered using as officers prepared to enter the encampment Friday morning. D.C. police are accustomed to dealing with daily demonstrations over all manner of political issues in the nation’s capital, and they typically try to convince demonstrators to voluntarily surrender. But they can also use more aggressive tactics, donning riot gear, forming lines and forcefully trying to move large groups.

At last word, DC Police were still monitoring the protest at GWU.

Grand Jury Declines to Prosecute Texas Mother Who Shot 14-Year-Old Boy During Break-In
[RedState] A Texas mother who shot a 14-year-old boy will face no charges after a grand jury decided not to indict her. The decision closes the door on a tragic case in which a mother was forced to use her firearm to defend her children.

The incident occurred in December when Aleah Wallace discovered that the boy was trying to break into her home through a window.

The incident has traumatized the mother and her children. She said the family goes to counseling “once a week” and offered condolences to the family of Devin Baker, the boy who tried to enter her home.

Wallace had been facing eviction because of the incident. The landlord wanted to eject her from the residence because she kept a firearm on the premises. However, the eviction action stopped when an attorney took her case pro bono.

The boy’s mother indicated that he had snuck out of the home in the middle of the night just before the shooting.

Aleah Wallace, 25, said she was cleaning her living room when she heard someone, identified as 14-year-old Devin Baker, attempting to break into her rental home around 3 a.m. on Dec. 14, according to Fox 4.

“I went, and I stood in the hallway. And I could see him standing at the window, lifting it up. I just shot,” Wallace told the outlet.

It was the second time Wallace’s house was targeted by burglars in less than 24 hours.

The teen allegedly tried to sneak through Wallace’s 8-year-old daughter’s window, according to the outlet.

Baker, who also lived with his family at the apartment complex, died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

Wallace had recently purchased the firearm after four attempts to burglarize her home. She told reporters that “It’s just me and my four daughters” in the home and that she was “just protecting my daughters.”

The mother also explained that she did not know the boy was 14 years old when he was trying to come through the window and that all she knew “was that somebody could come in and hurt me or my kids.”

It’s a tragic situation, to be sure. The fact that a 14-year-old boy would resort to breaking into someone’s home in the first place is disturbing. But Wallace simply had no choice; many others would make the same decision if they found themselves in a similar position.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Why do antisemites hate God's chosen people?
[American Thinker] The anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian, and conflated pro-Hamas antisemitism on university campuses in America is astounding. Spitting on, threatening, intimidating, and menacing Jewish fellow students is beyond unacceptable and symptomatic of a malignant antisemitic spiritual plague in America — a scourge that is emerging after festering in the political, social, and collective spiritual marrow of America for many decades. The most shameful aspect of this is that universities are one of the roots.

The other political-social taproot of this American antisemitism is the subliminal and liminal anti-Israel messages of politicians like Barack Obama and the likes of radical leftist politicians of the Squad. It might have helped our country and the world at the time if Barack Obama and the Squad had praised and promoted the Abraham Accords.

It is one thing to vigorously disagree with Israel policies. But after the ghastly, evil attack of Hamas on October 7, 2023, and Israel’s declaration of war on Hamas, it is a pure expression of evil terrorism for a university student or other American to say, "I am Hamas" or to threaten more murderous attacks on Israeli citizens or American Jews. American politicians’ silence or advocacy of moral equivalency on the Hamas issue says volumes.

WHAT ARE THE SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL ORIGINS AND DYNAMICS OF STUDENT ANTISEMITISM?
As a teenager, I vividly recall my rebellion against my parents’ rules, their authority, their strict religious beliefs, and the connection to rules about my dress and behavior. I had adolescent heroes and antiheroes. None was ever an antisemite.

As a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, I have had some understanding of adolescent rebellion. I studied Anna Freud’s work and admired her observation that adolescents can become enthusiastic about community activities at times and at other times long for solitude. They can be submissive to a chosen leader or defiant to any authority. They can be extremely self-absorbed or materialistic and simultaneously idealistic (Freud, A., The Ego And Mechanisms of Defense, 1936) — but not, in my experience...violently antisemitic in their rebellion!

In my own work, I observed that al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other terror groups exploited adolescents by an appeal to expand and magnify "normal" adolescent rebelliousness toward a search for independent identity, even an extreme negative identity as a terrorist (Olsson, P., The Making of a Homegrown Terrorist, 2014). I hope Hamas infiltrators are not so using American university students today in America!

I can recall the violent university student rebellion against the Vietnam War, which grew deadly at Kent State and other locations. I agreed with the rebellion and defiance, but never the violence.

I have studied the Holocaust and support the emotionally charged 1948 admission of Israel as an independent state to the United Nations. I understand Natan Sharansky ending his recent essay in the April 26 Wall Street Journal, entitled, "The Fight for Freedom, From Exodus to Gaza," with these arresting words:

Let us, then, persist in hope and pray for the freedom of all the enslaved, captured, tyrannized, and oppressed. Let us also not forget that freedom is a precious gift, and that we must rise up to secure it every single day, in every generation.

Israeli warriors are so doing against Hamas, just as Sharansky says.

‘ Explain To Me Why We Don't Have The Right To Exist?’ – Eva Vlaardingerbroek Warns Whites Against Massive Demographic Changes In Their Native Countries
[Zero] Q: You’ve spoken a lot about White rights and the White replacement. But of course this kind of opens you up to these accusations of racism. So, how do conservatives deal with this Catch-22 of not wanting to be replaced in their native countries, but also not wanting to be attacked with this term?

A: You can’t. That’s the thing, you can’t. So you have to pick a side. Of course, you’re going to be attacked if you say, “Hey, this continent, Europe, has been predominantly White for the entirety of its history, and now suddenly within one generation, a few bureaucrats have decided against the will of the people that we should suddenly be a minority. Why do we agree with that, or why do we allow that to happen?” If you say that, you are going to be attacked.

But the only other option then you have is saying nothing and have it happen, so the choice is yours, and I’ve made my choice. I think there are many ways in which you can defend yourself, of course, against this ridiculous attack, so I’m sure that they’re going say about me that I’m a terrible racist again. No, that’s not true. I don’t think that any race is superior to another. I just think that mine is also not inferior to that of others.

Diversity Hire Karine Jean-Pierre Nearly Diversity-Fired in Palace Coup: Report
[ZeroHedge] Via New York Post (emphasis added):

“Top aides to President Biden secretly hatched a plan this past fall to replace White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre by recruiting outside allies to nudge her out the door, The Post has learned.

Jean-Pierre, who made history in May 2022 by becoming the first black and first openly gay person to hold the position, had developed the exasperating habit of reading canned answers directly from a binder to reporters at her regular briefings — offering what her superiors viewed as a less-than-compelling pitch for the 81-year-old Biden as he readied his re-election campaign.

De facto White House communications chief Anita Dunn, 66, the wife of Biden personal attorney Bob Bauer, told colleagues she had decided to call in prominent Democrats to explain to Jean-Pierre, 49, that the time was ripe to move on, sources told The Post.

‘There were a number of people she asked to engage Karine,’ said one source who heard of the strategy directly from Dunn, whose role as senior adviser has been filled during the past three presidencies by Jared Kushner (Donald Trump), Valerie Jarrett (Barack Obama) and Karl Rove (George W. Bush).

The source also told The Post that Dunn had claimed White House chief of staff Jeff Zients knew about and supported the cloak-and-dagger scheme to push Jean-Pierre out of the West Wing.

‘There was an effort to have some outside folks who Karine knows and trusts talk to her about why leaving last fall would have made a lot of sense for her and her career,’ the source said, calling it an ‘effort to encourage her to move along.’”

My speculative belief is that the Brandon entity’s handlers must have realized what they had stepped in as soon as KJP’s more competent predecessor, Jen Psaki, left to cosplay as a newswoman at MSNBC state media, and they were left with KJP as the obvious heir to the throne with no real escape hatch, given their professed fidelity to Equity™.

Iraq
Amnesty blasts Iraq execution of 13 on ‘vague' terrorism charges
[Rudaw] Amnesty International on Wednesday criticized Iraqi authorities for carrying out the death sentences of 13 men on the same day, saying the prisoners were denied fair trial, and expressed concern that many others had been executed in secret.

A total of 13 prisoners were executed in Dhi Qar’s Nasiriyah central prison on Monday, and scores more have been executed since April 10, said the Amnesty report citing activists and lawyers of the death row prisoners.

"Iraq’s recent executions are alarming and disheartening. For years, a legacy of human rights violations and abuses have plagued Iraq’s justice system, landing thousands on death row after grossly unfair trials," said Razaw Salihy, Amnesty International’s Iraq researcher.

Eleven of the men were convicted based on their alleged affiliation to the Islamic State (ISIS), while the other two were had been detained since 2008 and convicted of terrorism-related charges.

Amnesty said that the two men were tortured and forced to sign documents they were not allowed to read, which were later revealed to be confessions, according to their lawyers and relatives. The men were denied a re-trial.

"Amnesty International looked into documents issued in 2020 by the judicial committee in charge of reviewing these requests, which stated that a review of the cases could not be carried out as per the law because the casefiles had been lost," said the report, describing the losing of the casefiles as "utterly callous and outrageous."

The rights watchdog called on Baghdad to "immediately" establish a moratorium on executions and abolish the death penalty.

Since the rise of ISIS in 2014, thousands of people have been detained across Iraq for suspected links to terrorist groups, including ISIS, while hundreds have been executed. The United Nations has criticized Iraq’s trials of ISIS suspects, saying proceedings have not met fair trial standards and raising concerns about allegations of torture.

Iraq has often been criticized for poor prison conditions and treatment of detainees and suspects.

Access to data on executions in Iraq is limited. UN experts in January said they were "deeply concerned about the secretive nature of the implementation of the death penalty in Iraq," after 13 men were executed on the same day in late December.

More than 8,000 are purportedly on death row in Iraq, with at least 150 at the imminent risk of execution, according to Amnesty.

Man who filmed death of Ashli Babbitt during January 6 riot sentenced to six years in prison
[JustTheNews] A Utah man that filmed the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday, despite his claims that he was at the Capitol as a citizen journalist.

Babbitt was a protester and 14 year Air Force veteran who was killed by a United States Capitol police officer during the protest on Capitol Hill. Babbitt was shot trying to enter a secured area inside the U.S. Capitol Building the day the Capitol riot took place. She was unarmed at the time, and tried to climb through a broken window in a door near the House Chamber.

Prosecutors claimed John Earle Sullivan, who was convicted on multiple charges including felony obstruction of an official proceeding and civil disorder, made $90,000 off his footage of the riot, which included Babbitt's death. Sullivan was in the Speaker's Lobby at the time, and was encouraging rioters to break glass panes when he filmed Babbitt's death, per Axios. Sullivan was also heard shouting expletives that encouraged the protesters.

Sullivan was also convicted of entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, and disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, after he brought a Smith & Wesson M&P knife to the Capitol, according to the Justice Department. He was sentenced to six years in prison, three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution.

Babbitt's mother sued the federal government over her daughter's death, alleging she was ambushed, but an internal investigation from the Capitol Hill Police Department concluded that Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd had violated no laws and would not be disciplined for the shooting.

"USCP officers had barricaded the Speaker's Lobby with furniture before a rioter shattered the glass door," the department said following the investigation. "If the doors were breached, the rioters would have immediate access to the House chambers. The officer's actions were consistent with the officer's training and USCP policies and procedures."

A reminder who the gentleman really is:

UN welcomes repatriation of 50 ISIS-linked Tajikistanis from Rojava
[Rudaw] The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on Friday commended the Tajikistan government for repatriating 50 of its citizens from the Kurdish-run northeast Syria (Rojava) where they were held because of links to the Islamic State (ISIS).

"UNICEF commends the Government of Tajikistan for fulfilling its commitments under the Convention on the Rights of the Child and facilitating the reintegration of children and their mothers with their families and communities," said the UN agency.

Tajikistan’s ambassador to Kuwait, Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, visited Rojava on Thursday when Kurdish authorities handed over 33 women and 17 children.

Hundreds of Tajikistanis joined ISIS when it seized control of swathes of Syrian and Iraqi territory in 2014. The extremist group was territorially defeated in 2019, but it still poses threat to the security of the region.

The Tajikistan government has repatriated a total of 304 of its nationals, according to the Rojava Information Centre.

RNC requests Secret Service increase protester restrictions for upcoming Milwaukee convention
[JustTheNews] The Republican National Committee (RNC) has reportedly requested that the Secret Service increase protester restrictions for its upcoming July convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The RNC letter was first obtained by The New York Times and stated it was opposed to the designated area where demonstrators are supposed to conduct their protest.

Counsel to the RNC, Todd R. Steggerda, said those attending the convention would have to pass by the demonstrators to go to the convention.

The security plan the Secret Service put in place has the protesters at Pere Marquette Park, roughly a quarter of a mile from the convention center, the letter reads.

“Packing demonstrators into a park essentially boxed in by the two streets that thousands of attendees will be using to enter the convention site will only serve to heighten — rather than prevent and diffuse — any tension,” Steggerda wrote. He added that “forced proximity heightens tensions among peaceful attendees and demonstrators of differing ideologies and increases the risk of escalation to verbal, or even physical, clashes.”

As of now, the RNC hasn't pitched a different location where the protesters could conduct their demonstration.

The Secret Service has reportedly not responded to the letter at this time, stating that they have not formally received the letter. The Times said it received a copy of the letter that had been sent to the Secret Service director "via hand delivery."

Are the rats starting to flee Joe Biden's sinking ship now?
[American Thinker] Are the rats fleeing Joe Biden's sinking ship now?

Joe Biden is losing a signature lieutenant, Richard Cordray, the guy who runs all his student loan shovel-outs and 'forgiveness' programs. He's quitting in June, in what's officially the end of his three-year term, not wanting another.

According to Politico:
Rich Cordray, the Biden administration’s top student loan official who has been a key ally of progressives pushing for debt relief, will leave the Education Department at the end of June, the agency confirmed on Friday.

Cordray’s departure comes as the administration has been scrambling to recover from its troubled rollout of a new student aid system that delayed college financial aid offers for millions of families this spring and drew bipartisan criticism in Congress.

It's an odd departure, given that it leaves his successor just six months to clean up his agency before a new administration takes over. Lucky DEI hire.

Politico noted that it was his agency that was behind the FAFSA student aid bunglings.

It oversees a $1.6 Trillion portfolio of loans of which a huge number were assumed on bad faith where the borrower expected to default. Even of those that were on good faith a huge number will end in default.

This goes back to the Obama theory of taking banks and other private financial institutions out of the program. The theory was that doing this would allow the Federal Govt to reap the benefits of the deferred interest on the loans.

Drone attack on Khor Mor gas field kills four Yemenis, cuts power
[Rudaw] A "terrorist" drone attack on Khor Mor gas field in Sulaimani province killed four Yemen nationals on Friday evening, said the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) spokesperson. The attack also affected power generation in the Kurdistan Region.

Khor Mor gas field in Chamchamal, operated by the UAE-based Dana Gas, was attacked by a drone, Ramik Ramazan, the mayor of Chamchamal, told Rudaw.

"It is the same place that was hit last time," he said, referring to a January 26 drone attack on the field and adding that the area is "under construction."

KRG spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani called the incident a "terrorist" attack and said four Yemen nationals were killed.

The attack caused "a huge amount of damage to the field and this damage will dramatically decrease the production of power," Hawramani added in a statement, calling on the federal government to find the perpetrators and prevent such attacks from happening in the future.

Ramazan later told reporters that two other Yemen nationals were slightly injured in the attack.

No group has claimed responsibility.

Khor Mor field produces 452 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, according to Dana Gas. The gas is a key fuel source for electricity generation plants in the Kurdistan Region, which has been affected.

"Due to a drone attack on the Khor Mor field, the sending of gas to power generation stations has been halted and as a result electricity generation has dropped by nearly 2,500 megawatts," read a joint statement from the KRG’s electricity and natural resources ministries.

They added that the staff of both ministries are working to restore electricity production.

Electricity generation has dropped to just 1,260 MW, according to the government spokesperson.

KRG Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani condemned the attack.

"We call on the Iraqi government and the relevant authorities in the [Kurdistan] Region to immediately launch a detailed investigation and take serious steps to prevent the repetition of these attacks, which cause the death of civilians," he said in a statement.

KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani condemned Khor Mor attack, saying that initial information indicated it was carried out from ’a nearby region within Iraq’ and demands ’swift action’ from Baghdad.

Khor Mor field has come under rocket attacks several times over the past few years, reportedly by Iraqi militia groups affiliated with Iran. The attack on the field in January occurred during a spate of rocket and drone strikes by Iraqi armed groups that mainly targeted American forces and rarely caused casualties or damage.

Despite the security threat, Dana Gas said in 2022 that they would be able to meet the Kurdistan Region’s full gas demands in about two years.

Iraq to repatriate over 700 ISIS-linked people from Rojava
[Rudaw] The Iraqi government is repatriating more than 700 people affiliated with the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) from al-Hol camp in northeast Syria (Rojava), the migration ministry said on Saturday.

Ali Abbas, spokesperson for Iraq’s ministry of migration and displaced, said that they will repatriate 750 Iraqis from al-Hol camp.

"Due to security reasons, we cannot reveal the date of their return, but it will be later this month," he told Rudaw’s Nahro Mohammed.

A group of some 165 families, totaling more than 700 people, have left al-Hol camp and are expected to arrive in al-Jada camp in Nineveh province within the coming two days, an Iraqi politician who closely monitors the matter told Rudaw English on Saturday.

The MP, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that more people were registered to be repatriated but some chose to stay in Syria.

Abbas told Rudaw last month that a total of around 2,000 families, or 8,000 individuals, have been returned to Iraq from al-Hol camp so far.

Iraqis and Syrians make up the majority of the 40,000 ISIS-linked people who have been held at al-Hol camp in northeast Syria’s Hasaka province since the defeat of the terror group in 2019. The camp has been branded a breeding ground for terrorism. Iraqi National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji last month said that around 20,000 Iraqis below the age of 18 are still at al-Hol. He described them as "time bombs."

Kurdish authorities in northeast Syria have repeatedly called on the international community to repatriate their nationals from the camps, but their calls have largely gone unanswered as most countries are unwilling to bring back their citizens due to security concerns.

Nearly 100 Al-Shabaab Militants Surrender in Somalia
[ShabelleMedia] In a significant development towards peace and stability in Somalia, the Somali government has reported that approximately a hundred al-Shabaab militants have surrendered in recent weeks across the South-Central states of Galmudug, Southwest, HirShabelle, and Jubaland.

This wave of defections from the militant group has been welcomed by the government, which is now urging more militants to take advantage of the amnesty offered by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

The government’s amnesty program is a part of its broader strategy to combat terrorism and bring peace to the region. The program aims to encourage militants to abandon their extremist ideologies and reintegrate into society, providing them with a chance to start anew.

This approach has been successful in other parts of the world, where similar initiatives have led to a reduction in violence and a decrease in the number of active militants.

The recent wave of surrenders is a testament to the effectiveness of the government’s strategy. It is also a sign that the government’s efforts to engage with local communities and address the root causes of extremism are bearing fruit. By providing an alternative to violence, the government is offering a path to reconciliation and a chance for former militants to contribute positively to their communities.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
The Massive UnitedHealth Hack Is Obamacare's Fault and That's No Lie
[Breitbart] The incompetence that guided Obamacare was on display recently when cyber hackers outsmarted UnitedHealth Group in late February. The division of UnitedHealth Group that transmits claims, Change Healthcare, was the subject of a ransomware attack, delaying payments for prescriptions, doctors, and everything else. The company performs 15 billion transactions per year, so the consequences of UnitedHealth ignoring adequate cybersecurity is proving disastrous.

The cyberattack is such a big deal that the Senate Finance Committee next week is holding a hearing on the subject, where they will (one hopes) hold the feet of UnitedHealth CEO Andrew Witty to the fire. The House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a similar hearing on May 1.

The most obvious question to ask is, “How can you not afford decent cybersecurity?” UnitedHealth has been raking in record profits thanks to Obamacare. Last year, its net profits were $22.4 billion, and it’s in the running to become the first healthcare conglomerate with a $1 trillion market cap.

So, it seems like the company could afford some white hats. It increased premiums 13 percent last year.?

One of the reasons UnitedHealth pulls in its record profits is because it rations care. The company used AI to systemically deny benefits to people through an intermediary called NaviHealth. Insurance monopolies like UnitedHealth are increasingly trying to control every step of patient care, and technology is making that easy for them. So, if you’re one of the 52 percent of Americans worried about the future of AI, don’t worry: the bad stuff is already here.

It could get worse though.

From 2019 to 2022, AARP spent more than $60 million to push a “rent seeking” provision in the Inflation Reduction Act – legislation so dishonestly named that it makes the Affordable Care Act almost sound honest. This provision allows Medicare to engage in so-called “negotiations” with pharmaceutical manufacturers over prices. The problem is that making companies an offer they can’t refuse by imposing a 95 percent tax on them if they don’t agree isn’t a negotiation at all. And AARP’s victory lap article left it unsaid how these negotiation requirements would benefit private insurers who subsidize AARP. Moreover, the IRA expands subsidies under ACA to private insurance providers, which will help pad those billion-dollar profits even more.

Freed hostage: My Hamas captor gave me a ring, said I’d marry him and have his children
[IsraelTimes] Noga Weiss, 18, was told other hostages would be released and she’d remain in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
to raise kids of captor; he reunited her with kidnapped mother to ask for her hand in marriage

Noga Weiss, who was released in a hostage deal last year after 50 days in Gaza revealed Thursday that one of her Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, captors told her they would get married, brought her a ring and told her she would stay in Gaza forever to have and raise his children.

"He gave me a ring on day 14 [in captivity], and I stayed with him until day 50," Noga, 18, recalled during a Channel 12 interview.

"He told me, ’Everyone will be released, but you will stay here with me and have my children.'"

Asked how she responded, Noga said, "I pretended to laugh so he wouldn’t shoot me in the head."

But her mother Shiri — who was also kidnapped into Gaza on October 7 and reunited with her daughter after several days — was not willing to play along.

At first, Shiri tried to politely reject the proposal, but the Hamas captor did not seem to accept the rejection, so she yelled at him until he understood, according to Meytal, one of Noga’s two sisters who sat next to her for the Channel 12 interview.

INVASION, FATHER’S MURDER, ABDUCTION
Noga had been with her parents in their home in Kibbutz Be’eri when thousands of Hamas-led snuffies invaded Israel on October 7.

Her father Ilan, 56, left the home at 7:15 a.m. to join the kibbutz emergency squad and was never heard from again. It was later determined that he was killed that day and that his body was taken into Gaza.

Ilan had left his wife and daughter in the house’s safe room. "They started shooting at the door, something like 40 shots until they managed to get in. We saw the conversations on WhatsApp and understood what was happening. People were writing that their house was on fire and then stopped answering."

Shiri, 53, told her daughter to hide under the bed, thinking that the snuffies would shoot her upon entering the room and not notice Noga.

"I went under the bed, and they came in and took her. After they took her outside, I heard gunshots. I thought she was murdered and not kidnapped," Noga said.

As Shiri was taken out of Be’eri, she saw homes going up in flames and was sure that her daughter was experiencing the same fate, said Meytal.

Meytal, 26, and her other sister Ma’ayan, 23, were living in their own separate student apartments in other parts of Be’eri and communicated with Noga via WhatsApp throughout the day. The older sisters, who hid in their safe rooms for 12 hours until IDF soldiers were able to rescue them, urged Noga to escape their parents’ house, which was going up in flames.

Noga managed to sneak out of the house and tried to hide among some bushes but was quickly spotted, as the kibbutz was filled with terrorists.

"Something like 40 snuffies surrounded me with Kalashnikovs. They tied my hands behind my back. As they took me away, I saw the bodies of people I knew from the kibbutz. A few minutes later, they put me in a car and started driving," she recalled to Channel 12.

CONSTANT FEAR IN GAZA
Thousands of Paleostinians, including children, cheered as their vehicle entered the streets of Gaza and tried to hit her and pull her hair through the broken windows. "I didn’t understand why they were delaying shooting me," she said.

Noga was moved between various homes throughout her captivity, each time dressed in a hijab and told to hold the hand of her captor so onlookers would assume they were married and not Israeli hostages.

"They brought cards for us to play with, and I told myself, ’I’ll play with them and do whatever they want as long as they don’t shoot. Their moods changed so quickly. One minute they played with us and laughed, the next they’d come in with a gun. You always had to please them," Noga said.

She recalled how her captors constantly talked about how Israel belonged to them and that she was an occupier. One of them told her he was an elementary school teacher and that Israelis had wrongly kicked him out of his home.

After several days in captivity, her Hamas captor professed his love for Noga and told her that he was bringing his mother to their apartment so that she could give her approval for their marriage.

An Arab-looking woman later entered the apartment. Noga didn’t immediately realize that it was her mother. "I thought she’d been murdered, I thought I was alone. Suddenly, she’s alive, and I’m not alone."

Even after her mother made clear that she would not accept the marriage, the thought that she would be left in Gaza forever with her Hamas captor never escaped her.

"People don’t understand the feeling of fear," Noga said. "I was 50 days, 24/7, with the thought that they would get tired of me and just shoot me or that they wouldn’t need me in the end, or that they would shoot us while we slept in the middle of the night."

Noga said she is unable to mourn for her father as long as 133 hostages remain in Gaza. "They have been there for an indescribable amount of time. At one point, they brought us a half-liter bottle of water for two days. You can’t survive like this for 200 days."

While she has lost much of her faith in the IDF, which wasn’t there to protect her and her family on October 7, Noga plans to enlist next month.

"On the day of my release, seeing soldiers in IDF uniform, it was the first time [since October 7] that I felt safe, so that did change something," she said.

Australians call for tougher laws on violence against women after killings
[BBC] Rallies have taken place across Australia in response to a wave of recent violence against women.

Demonstrators want gender-based violence to be declared a national emergency and stricter laws put in place to stop it.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the issue was a national crisis.

In Australia, a woman has been killed on average every four days so far this year.

Organiser Martina Ferrara said: "We want alternative reporting options for victim survivors to let them own their stories and own their healing and reporting journey.

"And we want the government to acknowledge this is an emergency action and take immediate action."

Speaking at a march in the capital Canberra attended by thousands of protesters, Mr Albanese admitted the government at all levels needed to do better.

"We need to change culture, the attitudes, the legal system and the approach by all governments," he said.

"We need to make sure that this isn't up to women, it's up to men to change men's behaviour as well," he added.

Britain
Large anti-Israel march held in London as police scrutinized for handling of protests
[IsraelTimes] Antisemitic slogans feature on signs at pro-Paleostinian rally, including in support of top cop who defended officer who made ’openly Jewish’ remark; pro-Israel counterprotest held

Large crowds of pro-Paleostinian demonstrators marched in London on Saturday to protest against Israel, as they have been doing on many weekends since the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,-led October 7 onslaught on Israel that sparked the ongoing war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
.

The Metropolitan Police arrested two protesters, one of whom was holding a poster with a swastika.

The other was suspected of making racist remarks toward a group of pro-Israel demonstrators who held a counterprotest under the slogan "Enough is Enough" to criticize police’s handling of the marches. The force has faced growing criticism in the past week after an officer told the head of the Campaign Against Antisemitism he could not walk through a pro-Paleostinian protest because he looked "openly Jewish."

The Campaign Against Antisemitism had also planned to hold a walk at the same time as Saturday’s march but canceled it amid safety concerns.

According to The Telegraph, Saturday’s protest against Israel included several posters with antisemitic slogans claiming the Israeli military harvests Paleostinian organs and that Zionists control the media. Another poster thanked London Police Commissioner Mark Rowley, who has defended the officer who made the "openly Jewish" remark.

"Thank you Rowley for standing up to scum politicians being blackmailed by Jeffrey Want Some Candy, Little Girl? Epstein
...A high class pimp financier who was alleged to maintain a stable of underage whores sex slaves who were paid big bucks to entertain the rich and/or famous. He is a registered sex offender and made att least 17 out-of-court settlements with former members of his stable, with some cases still ongoing. 2011 court docs reveal that 21 email addresses and phone numbers for Bill Clinton and an aide were found in Epstein's electronic black book, and that Clinton frequently flew with Epstein on his private plane between 2002 to 2005. But really, they were probably just discussing finance or politix or something. While getting massaged. Then things got serious, Jeff was tossed in the slammer in New York and then he killed himself. Really. That's what happened...
Mossad Pedo Ring! Protect Mark Rowley," the poster reportedly read.

Among those who attended the march were far-left MP Jeremy Corbyn, whose tenure as head of the Labour Party was marked by accusations of antisemitism against him and his supporters, and Northern Ireland First Minister Michelle O’Neill, whose Irish nationalist Sinn Fein party has long been critical of Israel.

As the march was held, images showed a blue tarp covering the Hyde Park Holocaust Memorial, which Lord Mann — the government’s adviser on antisemitism — said he advised police and the parks authority to put up to protect the site.

"We could take the risk that it would get defaced with the likes of placards and cause additional offense to the Jewish and other communities," he was quoted as saying by The Telegraph. ""It would have been nice if the organizers [of the rally] stopped to pay their own respects at the memorial."

A spokesperson for the Royal Parks said: "The Hyde Park Holocaust Memorial is routinely covered with tarpaulin during various events as a precautionary measure. We are working closely with the police to ensure the safety of park visitors."

The Metropolitan Police insisted they had no role in the decision to put up the tarp, after a photo of the covered memorial with a police car nearby was featured on the front page of The Daily Mail tabloid under the headline "police are so cowed by the antisemitic mob, they even cover up the Holocaust."

"This is an inaccurate headline that will only fuel community concerns," the police said. "It is a precaution Royal Parks have taken for a number of different events.

Ahead of Saturday’s march, the police said the cost of policing the anti-Israel protests had reached approximately £38.5 million (approximately $48 million).

The London police force has struggled to manage tensions sparked by the Israel-Hamas war, with Jewish residents saying they feel threatened by the repeated pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel marches through the streets of the UK capital.

In addition, the police force said 450 arrests have been made since the marches began, with 193 of them detained for antisemitic offenses.

The majority of those offenses involved placards, chanting or expressions of hate speech, police said.

Met Police Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist told British media that the force aims to police the events "without fear or favor," and noted that they have "been a particular cause of fear and uncertainty in Jewish communities."

However,
denial ain't just a river in Egypt...
the senior officer said the protests had not reached the threshold where they would be determined to carry a risk of "serious public disorder."

Though the pro-Paleostinian marches have been largely peaceful, a British counterterrorism official said last month the protests have made the streets of London "a no-go zone for Jews every weekend."

Demonstrations have also featured people glorifying Hamas, and antisemitic incidents and chants.

British Jews say they have been subject to verbal abuse by some pro-Paleostinian supporters since October 7, and there have been recorded incidents of physical violence as well.

On my side of the pond, 20-30 folks around a small Israel sign. Hardly anyone noticed. Half an hour later, the chanters were gone. Now 4:30 in Madrid.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Hamas airs clip of 2 hostages, prompting more anti-gov't protests as FM says Israel would delay Rafah op for a deal
[IsraelTimes] Sign of life from Omri Miran and Israeli-American Keith Siegel ups pressure on government to okay deal; Miran’s father urges Sinwar: ’Show humanity’

Hamas issued a new propaganda video Saturday showing signs of life from two hostages — the second such clip in three days — as pressure mounts on the government to approve a truce and hostage release deal. Israelis awaited the terror group’s response to the government’s latest proposal for an accord following intense Egyptian mediation.

The video showed hostages Keith Siegel, 64, and Omri Miran, 46, civilians who were kidnapped from their hometowns during the Hamas-led onslaught of October 7.

The edited three-minute-long video appeared to be directed at the Israeli public, with Hamas making the case that military pressure had failed to bring about the release of the hostages and that Israelis should continue to pressure their own leaders to compromise.

In the clip, Siegel and Miran identified themselves, addressed their families, and said they were hoping for a hostage deal that would see them and other hostages returned home.

The video ended with a message from the Palestinian terror group to the Israeli public: "Your Nazi leaders don’t care about the fate of your captive sons or about their feelings. Do what is needed before it is too late."

The video was not dated, but Miran said he had been held captive for 202 days and Siegel mentioned the Passover holiday, indicating the clips were likely filmed recently. The war is on its 204th day.

Miran was taken captive by Hamas terrorists from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the onslaught, when terrorists killed some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapped 253 others. Siegel, a dual Israeli-US citizen, was taken captive with his wife from their home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. His wife Aviva Siegel was released in a November deal that saw over 100 hostages freed.

Hamas has previously issued several similar videos of hostages being held, in what Israel says is deplorable psychological warfare. The last of them was issued on Wednesday and showed Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin similarly urging Israelis to pressure their government to reach a deal soon.

The uptick in the release of videos comes as Israel has ratcheted up preparations for a long-expected offensive in Rafah, Hamas’s last major bastion in Gaza.

Most Israeli media, including The Times of Israel, does not usually carry the video clips unless the families of those shown in them give permission to the media to distribute. The families of Siegel and Miran approved Saturday’s video for publication.

Miran’s father Dani reacted to the video Saturday evening, addressing thousands of protesters at Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square during weekly rallies calling for a hostage deal. "I hope a deal will really happen now," he said.

"As I had expected, he had a beard. Because he has nothing to shave with," Dani said of his son. "I saw another thing: I inspected each millimeter in the image. I saw he’s not brushing his teeth, either."

Dani, who has grown a beard himself since his son was taken, vowed to shave it off with his son when he returns.

Miran also called on Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza and accused mastermind of the October 7 atrocities, to "make a small step and spare bloodshed for both peoples." Addressing Sinwar, he continued: "Show some humanity and [Israel’s] cabinet will reciprocate, I am sure of it."

To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the war cabinet, Miran said: "Approve any deal — any deal — that’s feasible. I implore you, one request: Make the decision now."

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum — the main body representing the families of the 133 hostages still being held in Gaza — reacted to the video by saying that the signs of life were proof of the need for the government "to do everything to approve a deal to return the hostages before Independence Day: for the living to be rehabilitated, and for the murdered to be buried with dignity."

Independence Day will be held this year on May 14.

A separate group that says it represents some 20 families of hostages issued a more hardline statement, contending that the government now had to make a stark choice between returning the hostages and continuing the war against Hamas. In a statement to the media from Tel Aviv, the group charged that military pressure, which the government had said was the best path to bringing their loved ones home, had failed.
Oddly enough, the Times of Israel journalists neglect to name the organization of hostage families that supports the Netanyahu government. In the Rantburg archives, they show up as the Tikva Forum, occasionally spelt Tikvah Forum. Doing the reporting the Times of Israel did not do, key names are founders Tzvika Mor and Kiryat Arba council chairman Eliyahu Libman and front man Eitan Zeliger.
"If the only way to reach a comprehensive hostage deal is to end the war, agree to pay the price — end the war in order to return the hostages home," they said.

"The State of Israel must choose: hostages or war. Entering Rafah will bring about more murders of hostages in captivity, or lead to their deaths in the war. Entering Rafah will be another way for the abductees to die. Israel must choose to return the hostages," the statement added.

The families also called on war cabinet members Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot — whose National Unity party joined an emergency government a few days after the war began — to seek to replace Netanyahu, arguing that their efforts to influence the government to reach a deal had so far failed.

It is believed that 129 hostages abducted by Hamas on October 7 remain in Gaza — not all of them alive. Hamas has also been holding the bodies of fallen IDF soldiers Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin since 2014, as well as two Israeli civilians, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, who are both thought to be alive after entering the Strip of their own accord in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

THE RAFAH-HOSTAGE CONNECTION
Netanyahu has for months been promising an imminent military offensive in Rafah, believed to be where most of the remaining hostages are being held underground and where Hamas leaders are hiding, but also where over a million Gazans are sheltering as a result of the devastation dealt by the war to the rest of the Strip. Israel has assured the United States that it will first work to safely evacuate civilians.

There has been intense international pressure on Israel not to enter Rafah. However, Netanyahu’s job could be on the line if one isn’t launched. Far-right coalition leaders Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir — whose parties are essential for Netanyahu’s parliamentary majority — have long pushed for intensifying military pressure on Hamas, arguing that the premier is sidelining them. According to Kan news, on Friday, Smotrich and Ben Gvir threatened during a meeting of the high-level security cabinet that if the Rafah offensive is called off, they could bolt the government. The broadcaster cited unnamed security cabinet sources.

Channel 12 news reported Saturday that Smotrich and Ben Gvir are also both opposed to the latest Israeli terms, conveyed to Hamas, for a hostage release deal. Smotrich publicly hinted as much on Friday, writing on X: "Mr. prime minister, this should be crystal clear — you don’t have a mandate for this! Capitulation to Nazis does not appear in the basic principles of our government."

However, as intensive Egypt-mediated talks over the potential hostage deal continue, Foreign Minister Israel Katz told Channel 12 news Saturday that if a deal is reached, Israel will delay an operation in Rafah.

Israel has reportedly indicated that it will move ahead with the offensive if Hamas delays its response or rejects the latest offer.

"The release of the hostages is the top priority for us," Katz said during the interview. Asked if that included putting off the planned operation to eliminate Hamas battalions in Rafah, Katz answered: "Yes." He went on to say: "If there will be a deal, we will suspend the operation."

Opposition leader Yair Lapid on Saturday night reiterated a pledge to provide the government with the votes it needs to approve a hostage deal if Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich were to take their parties out of Netanyhu’s coalition and oppose it.

"There is a majority among the people and in the Knesset for deal, and if you need to get rid of Ben Gvir and Smotrich, I will give you 24 votes in the government," Lapid wrote on X, formerly Twitter, referring to the number of parliamentary seats his Yesh Atid party holds. "We must bring [the hostages] home."

One can understand the hostage families feelings. One should also understand that - due to these feelings - hostage families should have no voice in political-military decisions.

Government Corruption
Secret Service Update: Agent Herczeg mumbled and threw menstrual pads, at an agent
[National Review] The agent who attacked a superior in the vice president’s security force has been identified as Michelle Herczeg, an Air Force veteran and former Dallas police officer who left the force in 2016 after accusing a superior of sexual malfeasance and subsequently saw her damages suit dropped in 2021. On Monday, she reportedly "snapped."

Herczeg showed up at the terminal and began acting erratically, grabbing another senior agent’s personal phone and deleting applications on it, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The other agent, a shift leader, was able to recover his phone and then acted as if nothing had happened.

But Herczeg’s bizarre behavior didn’t stop. She then began mumbling to herself, hid behind curtains, and started throwing items, including menstrual pads, at an agent, telling him that he would need them later to save another agent and telling her peers that they were "going to burn in hell and needed to listen to God," a source told RealClearPolitics.

Herczeg also screamed at the special agent in charge (SAIC), rattling off the names of female officers on the vice president’s detail and claiming they would show up and help her and allow her to continue working. At that point, other agents on the scene believed Herczeg was suffering from a mental lapse, and the superior officer, SAIC, approached her to tell her she was relieved from the assignment.

"That’s when she snapped entirely," one source recounted.

The Grand Turk
Gaza ‘Freedom Flotilla' blocked in Turkey after being denied use of 2 ships
[IsraelTimes] Organizers say African nation Guinea-Bissau withdrew its flagged vessels, blame Israeli pressure on the country

A "Freedom Flotilla" aimed at delivering aid to Gaza without Israeli coordination or approval was blocked in Turkey Saturday after being denied use of two of its ships, which organizers blamed on Israeli pressure.

The coalition of NGOs and other associations said it was unable to set sail after the West African country of Guinea-Bissau withdrew its flagged vessels.

"Sadly, Guinea-Bissau has allowed itself to become complicit in Israel’s deliberate starvation, illegal siege and genocide of Palestinians in Gaza," the Freedom Flotilla Coalition said.

"The Guinea-Bissau International Ships Registry (GBISR), in a blatantly political move, informed the Freedom Flotilla Coalition that it had withdrawn the Guinea-Bissau flag from two of the Freedom Flotilla’s ships, one of which is our cargo ship, already loaded with over 5,000 tons of life-saving aid," their statement said.

Security officials in Israel have been preparing for the arrival of the first ships from the flotilla.

The effort to reach Gaza in ships carrying hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid is being spearheaded by the Turkish IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation,
...a semi-official "charity" branch of the Erdogan government that links the government, the Turkish branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and pet jihadi groups like ISIS in Syria, among others...
which is attempting to break the naval blockade maintained by Israel on Gaza to prevent the Hamas terror group from rearming itself.
IHH puts together aFredom Flotilla every few years. Except for the first one, which was raided by the IDF on the high seas, the rest have not made it across the Mediterranean, as I recall...
The group said the Guinea-Bissau authorities made several "extraordinary" requests for information, including destinations, potential additional port calls, cargo manifest, and estimated arrival dates and times.

"Normally, national flagging authorities concern themselves only with safety and related standards on vessels bearing their flag," it said, equating it to being asked about destinations when registering a car.

At an Istanbul press conference, about 280 volunteers — activists, lawyers and doctors — who had hoped to join the ships shouted slogans including "Flag the flotilla," "We will sail" and "Free Palestine."

Three of the flotilla’s ships have been docked for a week at the port of Tuzla, south of Istanbul. They had planned to set sail Friday.

Turkish authorities and state media, who are generally keen to boast about the aid they have provided to Palestinian civilians in Gaza having organized 13 humanitarian flights and nine boats, have been silent about the flotilla.

In 2010, a previous "Freedom Flotilla" set off from the southern Turkish city of Antalya, leading to a deadly episode that soured relations between Turkey and Israel after Israeli military forces raided one of the ships, the Mavi Marmara, leaving 10 dead and 28 wounded aboard in violence that ensued. Ten Israeli soldiers were wounded.

United Nations agencies have warned that maritime deliveries alone cannot deliver sufficient aid to ward off the threat of famine in Gaza, and have called on Israel to open up more border crossings for road convoys.

Israel massively stepped up aid efforts to the territory in recent weeks, Jerusalem and Washington have said. The United States is also building a special offshore pier that will facilitate the delivery of large amounts of aid to the Strip.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF: 2 Palestinian gunmen open fire at West Bank checkpoint, are shot dead by troops
[IsraelTimes] Soldiers had been ready in ambush near Salem Crossing after recent repeated attacks in area; one the gunmen’s magazines had sticker with Palestinian Islamic Jihad logo.

Two Paleostinian button men who shot up a checkpoint in the northern West Bank in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday were rubbed out by troops, the military said.

The incident took place at the Salem checkpoint and army base, close to the Arab Israeli town of the same name, and some 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the West Bank city of Jenin.

Troops of the Border Defense Corps’ 636th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit had been ready in an ambush following several recent similar attacks at the same location, when the gunman arrived by vehicle at the checkpoint area.

As the button men began shooting at the checkpoint and adjacent base, the soldiers returned fire at the pair, killing both, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The button men’s assault rifles were seized. An image released by the IDF showed that one of the gun’s magazines had a sticker with the logo of the Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
terror group.

No troops were hurt in the incident.

The button men were named by the Paleostinian Authority health ministry as Mustafa Abed, 21, and Ahmed Shawahna, 20. It said two more Paleostinians were maimed by Israeli fire in the Jenin area, although the circumstances of their injury were not immediately clear.

The Salem Crossing has been the target of frequent shooting attacks in recent years. It is predominantly used by Arab Israelis who travel to the Paleostinian city of Jenin and the surrounding area for business or leisure. It has been largely shuttered for civilian traffic in recent years.

Violence in the West Bank, already on the rise before October 7 — when thousands of Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,-led murderous Moslems stormed southern Israel to kill nearly 1,200 people and abduct over 250 — has escalated throughout the war sparked by the onslaught, with frequent army raids on terror groups, deadly Paleostinian attacks, and rampages by Jewish settlers in Paleostinian villages, at times also deadly.

Since October 7, troops have arrested some 3,850 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 1,650 affiliated with Hamas, the IDF has said.

According to the PA health ministry, more than 490 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time. The IDF says the vast majority of them were button men killed amid raids or murderous Moslems carrying out attacks.

Bipartisan bill lets US government compel universities to accept antisemitism monitors
[IsraelTimes] The COLUMBIA (College Oversight and Legal Updates Mandating Bias Investigations and Accountability) Act seeks to withdraw federal funding for colleges that don’t allow oversight

Two New York congressmen, a Democrat and a Republican, introduced a bill that would allow the federal government to compel universities to accept supervision from an antisemitism monitor.

The bill introduced Friday by Reps. Ritchie Torres, a Bronx Democrat, and Mike Lawler, a Rockland County Republican, comes in the wake of anti-Israel protests roiling Columbia University.

The politicians named the bill the COLUMBIA (College Oversight and Legal Updates Mandating Bias Investigations and Accountability) Act.
*Snicker* It would allow the federal government to bring in an outside monitor to oversee how universities accused of allowing antisemitism to fester on campus are dealing with the allegations.

"The monitor would be appointed by the Secretary of Education, the terms and conditions of the monitorship would be set by the Secretary, and the expenses of the monitorship would be paid by the particular college or university that has been selected for monitorship," said a release from Torres’ office. "Failure to comply with the monitorship would result in the loss of federal funds."

Torres stands out as a progressive who has been unapologetically pro-Israel. He got a hero’s welcome in the country during a recent visit.

A number of his fellow progressives in the Democratic caucus have decried what they depict as an overreaction by local, state, and federal governments to the pro-Paleostinian and anti-Israel protests sweeping campuses.

Lawler, who has a substantial Jewish population in his district, has similarly been outspoken in his defense of Israel.

Iran promises to release the crew of the hijacked MCS Aries
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

That's mighty white of them.

[Regnum] The crew of the MCS Aries, captured by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, will be released. This was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a conversation with Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangelo.

“ We are seriously considering the humanitarian issue related to the release of the ship’s crew, and have announced to the ambassadors of their countries in Tehran that (the crew members - editor’s note) have access to consular services, they will be released and extradited,” leads words by Abdollahian Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

At the same time, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry did not give specific deadlines for release.

As Regnum reported, the naval forces of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps captured the MSC Aries on April 13. According to the vessel's operator, there was a crew of 25 people.

Russian sailor Timofey Kolchanov is also on the ship. On April 14, he contacted his family. As the detainee’s wife said, he called from an unknown number for eight seconds.

In turn, the vice-president of the International Human Rights Committee, Ivan Melnikov, sent a note of protest to Iran. He called for the sailors to be released and the Russians to be helped to return to their homeland.

On April 16, Tehran informed that it would not create obstacles to the return of the Russian sailor from the detained ship to his homeland.

Russian diplomats visited the captured ship on April 24 and met with Kolchanov. According to the sailor, he feels satisfactory and is provided with everything he needs, including regular access to communication with his family.

At the same time, the embassy emphasized, the Iranian authorities confirmed that Kolchanov can leave the ship at any time, since Tehran has no complaints against the ship’s crew.

The diplomats noted that the embassy is keeping the issue under special control and is also in touch with our compatriot and his family.

Police arrest anti-Israel protesters at Indiana University, Arizona State University

[IsraelTimes] The Indiana University police department in Bloomington says in an emailed statement that 23 pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested there. on Saturday

Indiana State Police along with Indiana University police told demonstrators they could not pitch tents and camp on campus. When the tents were not removed, police arrested and transported protesters to the Monroe County Justice Center on charges of criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

“The Indiana University Police Department continues to support peaceful protests on campus that follow university policy,” the police statement reads.

Pro-Palestinian protests against Israel have spread to college campuses across the US, stoked by the mass arrest of over 100 people on Columbia University’s campus last week.

School leaders at several universities have responded in the past week by asking police to clear out camps and arrest those who refuse to leave. While saying they defend free speech rights to protest, the leaders say they will not abide activists infringing on campus policies against hate speech or camping out on university grounds.

At Arizona State University, campus police arrested 69 protesters early Saturday, the school says in a statement.

The university says “a group of people – most of whom were not ASU students, faculty or staff – created an encampment and demonstration” and were arrested and charged with criminal trespass after refusing to disperse.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The 12th defendant in the criminal case regarding the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, Dzhumokhon Kurbonov, arrived in Russia from Tajikistan in July 2023. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to an employee of the hostel where Kurbonov lived.

According to the source, Kurbonov crossed the Russian border on July 3, 2023. At the hostel, he shared a room on the fourth floor with ten migrants. All of them were employed and under control.

As a hotel employee explained, their task is to accommodate visiting migrants, ensure that they do not violate the rules of the hostel and are officially registered.

As Regnum reported, 21-year-old Dzhumokhon Kurbonov provided the accomplices of the terrorist attack in Crocus with communication means and money to pay bills, the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction said on April 27.
Kurbonov was detained on April 26. He is a citizen of Tajikistan, a native of the city of Parkhor. He is charged under paragraph 6 of Part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Terrorist act”). The court arrested him until May 22.

These States Are Making It Illegal for Illegal Immigrants to Enter
[THEEPOCHTIMES] Conservative states across the country—Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and Oklahoma—are taking border security matters into their own hands, proposing or passing legislation targeting illegal immigration.

The Oklahoma legislature just passed a bill designed to prohibit illegal immigrants from entering or living in the state.

HB 4156 states: "A person commits an impermissible occupation if the person is an alien and willfully and without permission enters and remains in the State of Oklahoma without having first obtained legal authorization to enter the United States."

The bill passed the state House and Senate by wide margins and Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, is expected to sign it into law.

The legislature declared the issue a crisis in the state and stated in the bill: "Throughout the state, law enforcement comes into daily and increasingly frequent contact with foreign nationals who entered the country illegally or who remain here illegally.

"Often, these persons are involved with organized crime such as drug cartels, they have no regard for Oklahoma’s laws or public safety, and they produce or are involved with fentanyl distribution, sex trafficking, and labor trafficking."

Under the new law, a conviction related to "impermissible occupation" would be considered a misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in a county jail, a fine of up to $500, or both.
So, the illegally elected gov't will most certainly declare this State action against illegals to be illegal.
And then it will go straight to the US Supreme Court, which appears to be getting impatient with all the Progressive nonsense executed by the Democratic Biden administration.

Jamaal Bowman (fire alarm guy) duped by fake Chief Rabbi of Gaza
[NYPost] Rep. Jamaal Bowman and his campaign were duped by the parody social-media account of the fake "Chief Rabbi of Gaza."

The phony X account of "Rabbi Linda Goldstein" is infamous for spouting anti-Zionist vitriol to ensnare unsuspecting progressives unaware that it is satirical.

The rabbi messaged Bowman about sponsoring a fundraiser for his Democratic primary campaign.

"I really hope you win, I would love to host a fundraiser with you," Goldstein messaged Bowman in a private X message on April 11. The message prompted a reply from the congressman's account just 30 minutes later.

"Thank you, how do we get in touch with you?" Bowman asked. Goldstein promised Bowman she has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars before, adding "my anti-zionist community can't wait to help."

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: April 27, 2024
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 18:37 During the day, the Russians carried out 13 kamika drone strikes in the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region, said the head of the OVA Sergei Lysak. Two five-story buildings, nine private houses, an agricultural company, and a power line were damaged. More than 300 subscribers were left without electricity.

17:44 The Australian Department of Defense announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth $100 million. It will include $50 million in military assistance (of which $30 million is for the purchase of drones and another $15 million for other priority equipment, including helmets, inflatable rigid boats, shoes, fire masks and generators), $50 million for air defense systems short-range, as well as precision-guided air-to-ground munitions.

17:12 The Russians fired mortars at Kazatske, Kherson region, three people were injured. In addition, one person was injured as a result of Russian shelling in Stanislav. Over the past 24 hours, one person was killed and eight were injured as a result of Russian shelling, the OVA reported.

15:45 The defense forces control two-thirds of the village of Ocheretino in the Donetsk region, and the part into which the enemy broke through is under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said Nazar Voloshin, spokesman for the Khortitsa military group. “The enemy is blocked, and measures are ongoing to drive him out of there. There are heavy battles there, but the situation is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” he added. According to Voloshin, the situation is similar in the village of Solovyevo - approximately two-thirds is under the control of Ukrainian forces.

Voloshin also said that the enemy continues to put pressure on the Bakhmut direction, namely on the outskirts of Chasov Yar. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces control the situation both in the city and around it; there is no enemy army in the city. “An increase in the number of Russian units was noticed in the Kleshcheevka area. Most of the assaults in the Chasovoyarovsky direction were carried out in the Belogorovka area,” the speaker noted.

15:29 Not far from Volchansk, Kharkov region, an enemy FPV drone hit a truck - the driver was hospitalized in serious condition, said the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov.

15:03 Zelensky warned Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson that without American help Ukraine would hold out “until March or April,” Politico writes, citing sources. A source from the House of Representatives told the publication that after this conversation, Johnson decided to support assistance before this deadline and ordered the preparation of a corresponding bill.

In addition, SBU drones hit the rectification and atmospheric columns of the Ilsky and Slavyansky refineries - these are key technological facilities of the plants. After the strikes, fires and personnel evacuation began at the airfield and refinery.

11:07 In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the number of victims as a result of the night attack has increased to two - in the Krivoy Rog region, another person contacted doctors, said the head of the OVA Sergei Lysak.

10:22 As a result of the night attack, energy system facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions were damaged. Due to the consequences, the main overhead line of Ukrenergo in the western region was switched off by protection, the company reported.

Fifth Column
Columbia student leading the “protest” posted video stating that “Zionists do not deserve to live”
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Times of Israel has more on this little jihadi cosplayer and other Jew-hating academic Hamas/Antifa activists across America:
In video, Khymani James said he felt ‘very comfortable calling for those people to die,’ later apologized for ‘misspeaking’; university president’s conduct condemned by its senate

A video has surfaced of one of the leaders of the anti-Israeli protests at Columbia University stating repeatedly and emphatically that Zionists “don’t deserve to live” and should be killed.

“The existence of them and the projects they have built i.e. Israel, it’s all antithetical to peace. So yes I feel very comfortable — very comfortable — calling for those people to die,” Khymani James said in the January video.

“Be glad, be grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists,” he added.

A university spokesman told CNN Friday that James had been banned from campus. The substance of the move was not immediately clear, nor was it clear whether James would remain a student at the institution.

Earlier on Friday James issued an apology for the video while justifying himself, saying he “misspoke,” adding that he regretted his comments which were “wrong,” and that “every member of our community deserves to feel safe without qualification.” He explained that he had been feeling “unusually upset” when he made the statements “after an online mob targeted my because I’m visibly queer and Black.”
"and an attention-seeking asshole"
ABC News said that hours earlier during a TV interview, James refused to apologize for the video in question.

Columbia has been the epicenter of college encampment protests against Israel and its war in Gaza that have swept through the US, with many Jewish students saying they have been made to feel unsafe due to antisemitic undertones at the demonstrations.

The January video of James was of a livestream he made during an online hearing held with university officials. This came following comments he’d made on social media that if he were to enter into a fight with a Zionist, he would be fighting “to kill.”

Asked in the video by an off-screen official whether he saw why his statements were problematic, James said “No.” He then said that “taking someone’s life in certain case scenarios is necessary and better for the overall world.”

He appeared to make most of the subsequent comments to his viewers at a point when the officials were not listening in.

“If we can agree as a society, as a collective, that people… some persons need to die, if they have an ideology that results in the death of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions — if there are people like that who exist, shouldn’t they die?” he said to the camera.

“Zionists — they are Nazis. They’re Nazis. They’re fascists. They’re supporters of genocide. Why would we want people who are supporters of genocide to live? I’m confused.”

He went on: “Zionists along with all white supremacists need to not exist because they actively kill and harm vulnerable people. They stop the world from progressing.

“And so be glad, be grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists,” he said. “I’ve never murdered anyone in my life and I hope to keep it that way. I genuinely hope to keep it that way.

“But when you have a whole bunch of Zionists and white supremacists and Nazis and fascists threatening your physical safety, one feels the need to remind them that one is not afraid two reach that point. And we know what that point is.”

In his statement on Thursday, James said other leaders of the Columbia protests had stressed that his comments “are not in line with [their] community guidelines. I agree with their assessment.”

The White House on Friday strongly condemned James’ comments.

“These dangerous, appalling statements turn the stomach and should serve as a wakeup call,” White House Deputy Press Secretary said. “It is hideous to advocate for the murder of Jews. President Biden has been clear that violent rhetoric, hate speech and antisemitic remarks have no place in America whatsoever, and he will always stand against them.”

Late on Thursday Columbia University backed off an overnight deadline for pro-Palestinian protesters to abandon an encampment there as more college campuses in the United States sought to prevent occupations from taking hold.

The office of New York-based Columbia University President Minouche Shafik issued a statement at 11:07 p.m. (0307 GMT Friday) retreating from a midnight deadline to dismantle a large tent camp with around 200 students. It was the second time the administration backed off from a deadline in recent days.

“The talks have shown progress and are continuing as planned,” the statement said. “We have our demands; they have theirs.”

But on Friday Columbia students said that they had reached an impasse with administrators and intended to continue their encampment until their demands were met.

The announcement after two days of exhaustive negotiations came as Columbia’s president faced harsh criticism from faculty. The development puts more pressure on university officials to find a resolution ahead of planned graduation ceremonies next month — a problem that campuses from California to Massachusetts are facing.

As the death toll mounts in the war in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis worsens, protesters at universities across the country are demanding schools cut financial ties to Israel and divest from companies they say are enabling the conflict. Some Jewish students say the protests have veered into antisemitism and made them afraid to set foot on campus.

Student negotiators representing the Columbia encampment said that after meetings Thursday and Friday, the university hadn’t met their primary demand for divestment, although they had made progress on a push for more transparent financial disclosures.

“We will not rest until Columbia divests,” said Jonathan Ben-Menachem, a fourth-year doctoral student.

Meanwhile, Presiden Shafik faced a significant — but largely symbolic — rebuke from faculty Friday but retained the support of trustees, who have the power to hire or fire the president.

A report by the university senate’s executive committee, which represents faculty, found Shafik and her administration had “taken many actions and decisions that have harmed Columbia University.” Those included calling in police and allowing students to be arrested without consulting faculty, failing to defend the institution in the face of external pressures, misrepresenting and suspending student protest groups, and hiring private investigators.

“The faculty have completely lost confidence in President Shafik’s ability to lead this organization,” said Ege Yumusak, a philosophy lecturer at Columbia who is part of a faculty team protecting the encampment.

Police had clashed with protesters Thursday at Indiana University, Bloomington, were 34 were arrested; Ohio State University, where about 36 were arrested; and at the University of Connecticut, were one person was arrested.

California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, has been negotiating with students who have been barricaded inside a campus building since Monday, rebuffing an attempt by the police to clear them out. The campus remains shut down at least through the weekend.

On the other end of the state, the University of Southern California canceled the school’s May 10 graduation ceremony. The announcement was made a day after more than 90 protesters were arrested on campus. The university said it will still host dozens of commencement events, including all the traditional individual school commencement ceremonies.

Elsewhere in New York, about a dozen protesters spent the night in tents and sleeping bags inside a building at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The institute’s museum, which is in the building where the demonstrators set up camp, was closed Friday.

Protesters also stayed overnight at the encampment at George Washington University.

The university said in a statement Friday that those who remain are trespassing on private property and officials will pursue disciplinary actions against students involved in the unauthorized demonstrations.

Student protesters say they are expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, where the death toll in the Israel-Hamas war has topped 34,305, according to the terror group’s health ministry — a figure that cannot be independently verified, and includes some 13,000 Hamas gunmen Israel says it has killed in battle.

Israel also says it killed some 1,000 terrorists inside Israel on October 7, when the Hamas-led onslaught that sparked the ongoing war killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in southern communities. Terrorists also took 253 hostages into Gaza.

Two hundred and sixty-one IDF soldiers have been killed in the Gaza offensive

The protests pose a major challenge to university administrators trying to balance campus commitments to free expression against complaints that the rallies have crossed a line.

Pro-Israel supporters and others worried about campus safety have pointed to antisemitic incidents and allege that campuses are encouraging intimidation and hate speech.
Courtesy of Besoeker, Breitbart’s take:
Columbia University banned a student protest leader who made remarks in a video that "Zionists don’t deserve to live," a spokesperson from the university said, according to Fox News.

Khymani James,
…who pride “themselves” on being both black and queer, neither of which he did anything to make happen…
a junior at the university and one of the leaders of the anti-Israel encampment, issued an apology in a post on X early Friday morning in which he expressed that he had "misspoke in the heat of the moment."

"I am frustrated that words I said in an Instagram Live video have become a distraction from the movement for Palestinian liberation," James said. "I misspoke in the heat of the moment, for which I apologize."

The anti-Israel encampment at Columbia University was established on April 17. The next day, several students were suspended, and hundreds of protesters were arrested.

Columbia University had removed the encampment with help from officers with the New York Police Department. However, it has since returned, and school administrators are reportedly in negotiation talks with the protesters taking part in the encampment.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
'Nazca alien mummies are real, DNA evidence proves'
[GEO.TV] Nazca alien mummies are found to be real as DNA evidence proves that they co-existed with human beings, as per a claim by an investigator.
Right. He said it, so we should believe it. Silly me, I had expected that actual space aliens would have an analog of DNA, but not DNA due to separate evolutionary paths.
Jois Mantilla, who operated closely with the mummies in order to identify their origins, confirms that he has made a progressive DNA discovery that could "change the course of history" and which is more important than the moon landing, according to The Sun.
The Sun being a reputable news source, of course. I'm surprised those genuine space aliens from the Magellanic Cloud are bilaterally symmetrical, though I suppose trilaterally or quadrilaterally would be harder to achieve.
Known as Nazca mummies, several mysterious extraterrestrial-looking creatures, have been discovered across Peru in a set of thrilling findings.
Having separate evolutionary paths, I was surprised to see they had heads up top, ears in the same place as humans, ribs, shoulders, hips and legs in the same conformation.
Peruvian journalist Jois Mantilla who has been leading an investigation into the mummies, also confirms that they are thousands of years old and once walked among humans.
Bone and muscle in the same arrangement?
With some even saying they were aliens, the mummies were unearthed by astonished discoverers and caused mass doubts over where they originated from.
"Hey! Where'd that come from?"
"Andromeda galaxy, obviously. Count the ribs!"
"Space aliens got ribs?"

When Jois and fellow journalist Jaime Maussan presented two mummies discovered in Palpa and Nazca, Peru in 2016 to the Mexican Government, they made headlines last year.
"FLASH! Somebody gave space alien mummies to Mexico!"
As a presentation of their newest mummy — called Monserrat — descended into chaos, their investigation has caught the attention of the public once again.
"Yeah. It's them again!"
However,
the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits...
the project has been slammed by the critics including the Peruvian Government, saying the bodies are nothing more than dolls made by artists.

OK, shut up and shared the Nazca mummies DNA with 20 other Worldwide INDEPENDENT labs.

Then have those Labs verify the findings.

As an extra safeguard, run it anonymously through Ancestry.com and see what it reports.

PTI says US report on 'human rights violations' in Pakistan 'hangs our heads in shame'
[GEO.TV] After the "2023 Country Report on Human Rights Practices" issued by the US State Department highlighted alleged violations of fundamental rights, Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf spokesperson Raoof Hasan backed the findings related to the country saying, "Our heads hang in shame" after reading the report.

Hasan, while addressing a press conference along with PTI Senator Walid Iqbal on Saturday, said that the US reports elaborated on alleged human rights’ violations committed during 2023, including political cases, detentions, and violation of sanctity of "chaddar and char dewari".

He went on to say that the US State Department’s report also discussed "extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances, political prisoners, censorship, as well as use of force against journalists."

"The report also stated the environment of lawlessness in the country, besides other human rights violations which bowed our heads in shame," the spokesperson of the Imran Khan-founded party added.

Senator Iqbal, speaking at the same press conference, claimed: "50 to 60 pages of the report were only about human rights violations [in our country] which gave details about torture on individuals in custody and even their killings. The report also mentioned the situation after regime change. It specifically mentioned subjecting PTI workers to torture."

WION TV channel called Zaluzhny’s absence in public suspicious
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny has not appeared in public for some time, which raises suspicions. This is stated in the story of the Indian TV channel WION.

“Although the former commander-in-chief was planned to be appointed ambassador to London, he is suspiciously absent from the public eye,” the TV presenter noted.

According to her, no one has seen Zaluzhny for several weeks. There are suggestions that he and several other high-ranking military personnel could have been killed. The journalist wondered “what went wrong” and where the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is.

As Regnum reported, in February, the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, removed Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was the largest reshuffle in the military leadership of Ukraine. After the failed “counter-offensive” of the Ukrainian army, open disagreements arose between Zelensky and Zaluzhny. Zelensky appointed Alexander Syrsky to replace the commander in chief.

On April 2, an adviser to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said that Zaluzhny and ex-Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexey Danilov would be sent to the diplomatic service in order to avoid speculation about their future activities.

The first bank in 2024, Republic First, collapses
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] US authorities established control over the American bank Republic First, closed it and appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as its successor. This incident turned out to be the first collapse of a credit institution in the country in 2024, according to a statement issued by the corporation on April 26.

“Republic Bank has been closed by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, which has designated the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as its successor,” the FDIC said.

It is clarified that in order to protect depositors, the corporation has already reached an agreement with another credit institution, Fulton Bank, to accept most of the deposits and acquire the assets of the collapsed bank.

Difficulties in the US banking sector worsened in March 2023. The problems began after California state regulators closed Silicon Valley Bank, which was one of the 20 largest commercial American banks, experts noted.

As Regnum reported, the USA, Japan and European countries will suffer a “terrifying” recession, which will be accompanied by the collapse of the banking system, investor Jim Rogers said in May 2023.

The investor pointed out that states are trying to combat the collapse of banks through their merger with larger organizations.

On March 10, 2023, the 16th largest US bank, Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), went bankrupt. The head of the Federal Reserve System (FRS), Jerome Powell, blamed the organization's management for the incident. In his opinion, the SVB board failed to properly manage risks.

On March 21, former vice president of the Lehman Brothers financial corporation Lawrence MacDonald said that the threat of bankruptcy of at least 50 more banks looms over the United States if the American authorities do not get rid of structural problems in the economy.
The main structural problem being a government, from top to bottom, operated by economic illiterates.

U.S. court upholds R. Kelly's 20-year prison sentence
[AFRICANEWS] The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the 20-year prison sentence for singer R. Kelly on child sex convictions in Chicago.

The decision, announced on Friday, affirmed the verdict reached by jurors in 2022, who found the Grammy Award-winning R&B singer guilty on three charges of producing child sexual abuse images and three charges of enticing minors for sex.

Kelly's legal team expressed disappointment with the ruling and announced their intention to petition the U.S. Supreme Court for a review of the decision.

This latest development follows a series of legal battles for Kelly, who is currently serving a 30-year sentence in New York for federal racketeering and sex trafficking convictions. It is noted that Kelly has also filed a separate appeal against this sentence.

UT-Austin Students Arrested During Protests May Not Freely Roam the Campus
[HOTAIR] It's been a little confusing since arrests were made during the big pro-Hamas protest on the University of Texas-Austin campus on Wednesday. Are students free to return to campus?

Yes and no. It seems there was confusion on Friday. On Thursday, the Travis County district attorney dropped all criminal trespass charges against those who were arrested. On Friday, the university confirmed that the arrested students will not be allowed to freely be on campus.

University spokesman Mike Rosen released a statement Friday afternoon. Students will be allowed to complete courses for the semester but may only return to campus for academic reasons and to access university resources with approval.

It sounds as though they may return to class and, say, the library or other places to support their classes, but they are restricted when it comes to anything else. In other words, they can finish their classes but they can't return to join another demonstration.

Sudan: Army airstrikes target RSF, civilians reported killed
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Sudanese military aircraft conducted airstrikes on Friday targeting positions held by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in several locations, sparking reports of civilian casualties.

Local sources informed Sudan Tribune that warplanes bombed RSF sites east of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, as well as Mellit, a town roughly 60 kilometers north. Additionally, airstrikes were reported near al-Qatina locality in the White Nile State, south of Khartoum, resulting in the destruction of RSF armoured vehicles.

The paramilitary forces acknowledged the attacks on social media, posting video footage showing dead camels allegedly killed in the airstrikes.

Meanwhile, Meanwhile,
...back at the dirigible, Jack stuck the cigar in his mouth, stepped onto the gantry, and asked Got a light, Mac?

Von Schtinken stopped short, lowering the dagger and trying to control his features.

If you light that thing, Herr Armschtröng, he pointed out, his voice tense, we all die!...

the Civil Democratic Forces Coordination (Tagadum) issued a statement condemning the air raid on Mellit, claiming civilian casualties and significant property and livestock losses.

Tagadum criticized the targeting of civilians and called for the reformation of Sudan’s military and security institutions. The statement highlighted a pattern of airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure, including homes and property, across Darfur, Kordofan, al-Jazira, and other regions.

They condemned the use of imprecise weaponry like barrel bombs, accusing the government of deliberately harming civilians outside its control.

Tagadum urged both sides to cease attacks on civilians, their areas of residence, and their property through airstrikes, ground assaults, or artillery shelling.

Avdeevsky direction: liberation of Berdychi and Novokalinovo

Russian troops consolidate the success achieved after the liberation of Ocheretino, Semenovka and the advance to Novokalinovo.

On the western outskirts of Berdychi, servicemen of the 74th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces erected the battle banner of the “Mad Dogs” unit on a destroyed building. Cleanup is underway in the liberated territory.

After the loss of Semenovka, as well as a breakthrough to the Ocheretinsky fortified area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to retreat from this settlement due to the high risk of encirclement. According to reports from the field, a large number of members of the Ukrainian formations chose to surrender.

According to the latest information, Novokalinovo, east of Ocheretino, also came under the control of Russian troops. At the moment, pockets of resistance from scattered enemy groups are being cleared out.

In adjacent Keramika, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces established a foothold on the eastern outskirts of the village, which is confirmed even by Ukrainian resources. There are oncoming battles in the populated area. After the complete clearing of Novokalinovo, the retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Keramik will become a matter of time due to the geographical location of the village in the lowland.

The successful actions of Russian troops over the past 24 hours will likely make it possible to soon level the front line at the Ocheretino-Umanskoye line and continue the offensive westward to a new line. In total, in April of this year, Russian troops managed to liberate more than 60 square meters. km of territory on this section of the front.

20:33 It is reported that the roundabout in Krasnogorovka on Geologicheskaya Street, as well as part of the private sector up to the territory of the kindergarten, are under our control. Thus, the entire Geologicheskaya Street is freed from the presence of Ukrainian troops -map.

Kupyansk direction: breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense in Kislovka.

A couple of days ago, after a rather long stagnation, Russian troops launched a new assault on the Svatovsko-Kupyansk direction, attacking the positions of the 104th Troops Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kislovka.

On the eastern outskirts of the village, the Russian Armed Forces took control of about three dozen houses and a railway station. Information is being received about the complete liberation of the village, which has not yet been confirmed by objective control personnel.

At the same time, Ukrainian resources monitoring the situation at the front confirm a breakthrough in the village, speaking about the plight of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area due to the lack of heavy weapons.

With a high probability, the Ukrainian formations retreated to neighboring Kotlyarovka, the distance to the outskirts of which is no more than three hundred meters. However, with success in Kislovka, the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kotlyarovka will noticeably worsen.

Considering the location of Kislovka on a hill relative to the surrounding settlements, we can talk about potential fire control of the adjacent territory by Russian troops after the complete liberation of the village.

Success at the Kislovka-Kotlyarovka line will allow Russian troops to significantly advance along the N-26 highway leading to Kupyansk, a large fortified area and an important transport hub in the Kharkov region.

16:37 Sumy region.

Sounded repeated sounds of explosions in the eastern regions of the region. At the same time, the air raid warning was not announced.

Information is being received about the defeat of several military targets by UFABs from our Russian Aerospace Forces.

15:15 Russian army again broke through enemy defense, liberating Novokalinovo and Keramik, pushing the enemy further and further from Avdeevka.

After the liberation of Ocheretino, Novobakhmutovka, Solovyevo and Berdychi, the “Center” group of troops with attached units of the 1st Army Corps cleared the last outskirts of Novokalinovo and finished off the enemy in Keramika. The information is confirmed by the Gorlovka fighters who took these inhabitants. Our troops also approached Arkhangelskoye, advancing from Ocheretino.

14:22 Krivoy Rog. Explosion.

Reported that a single powerful explosion occurred at a military industrial enterprise in the suburbs of Krivoy Rog. Local public pages write about a bright flash.

The strike was apparently from the Iskander OTRK.

13:11 Scheme missile attack of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Black Sea Fleet on objects on the territory of Ukraine on April 27, 2024, according to the enemy.

12:47 Statement by the head of the press center of the “West” group -video.

Units of the West group of forces continue to carry out combat missions in the special military operation zone.

Motorized rifle units, with the support of artillery and aviation, inflicted fire on the personnel and equipment of the formations of the 3rd assault and 77th airmobile brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Borovaya and Terna areas.

The artillery units of the group inflicted fire on 72 Ukrainian Armed Forces targets.

During the counter-battery fight, artillery units destroyed: the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount, towed howitzers 122mm D-30 and 152mm D-20, as well as six mortar crews.

The group's air defense systems destroyed four aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as three Baba Yaga copter-type drones.

Enemy losses amounted to up to 20 military personnel, 3 artillery pieces, six mortar crews, an electronic warfare station and two pickup trucks.

12:15 Situation in Novokalinovo –map.

The Russian Armed Forces continue to advance along the river bed from the west of Novokalinovo. In addition, battles for Keramik began.

Keramik and Ocheretino hang over the remaining large fortifications, between settlements.

Missile attack on energy infrastructure facilities so-called. Ukraine April 27, 2024.

what is known by 11.00 April 27, 2024

Tonight, the Russian Armed Forces attacked electricity generation facilities in the Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. According to DTEK, four thermal power plants were damaged.

We are talking, apparently, about Dobrotvorskaya, Krivoy Rog, Pridneprovskaya and Burshtynskaya TPPs, which are part of the DTEK structure. A photo of a fire that appeared on the Internet, presumably at the Burshtynska Thermal Power Plant, indicates that the blow fell on the operating power units.

We have repeatedly talked about the importance of hitting those thermal power plants that have special equipment that allows them to maneuver the power of the energy system. This plays a very important role in the conditions of failure of at least 60% of the capacity of the Dnepropetrovsk hydroelectric station. The Burshtynska and Dobrotvirska thermal power plants affected today are equipped with secondary frequency control devices.

The most important for the Ukrainian energy system is the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant: it had 10 turbogenerators with secondary regulation of turbine speeds (after previous shocks, there were probably 4 left in operation). They made it possible to compensate for short-term fluctuations in electricity consumption. There was one such generator at the Dobrotvorskaya TPP.

11:02 Statement by the head of the press center of the Dnepr group -video.

Units of the Dnepr group of troops inflicted fire damage on the personnel and equipment of the 117th mechanized brigade, 121st and 126th territorial defense brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Novodanilovka, Respublikanets and Chervony Mayak.

The enemy lost up to 35 military personnel, two vehicles, a 155mm FH-70 howitzer made in Great Britain, three 155mm M777 guns, a 122mm D-30 howitzer, and a 105mm M102 towed howitzer.

10:31 In the morning the enemy recognizes the advance of Russian troops in Ocheretino, Solovyevo and Semyonovka -map.

It also became known that Russian troops have already entered Keramik. There is also progress in the liberation of Novokalinovo.

09:55 Telegram channel «WarGonzo":

Frontline report for the morning of 04/27/2024

– On the Donetsk front, Russian troops continue the assault on Krasnogorovka. The territory of the Refractory Plant is being cleared, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to counterattack. Positional battles in Georgievka.

In the Netailovo district and in Umansky there are no changes. In the Semyonovka area and in Berdychi, the Russian Armed Forces were able to push Ukrainian troops to the west, although in Berdychi, fighting still continues on the outskirts of this settlement.

In Solovyovo, Russian troops cleared the territory of the village and secured new positions. The Russian Armed Forces are advancing in the direction of Arkhangelsk, where Ukrainian troops recently withdrew from Ocheretino.

In Novokalinovo there are also tactical successes of Russian troops moving further into the settlement, as in the adjacent village of Keramik. Apparently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will retreat from these lines in the near future.

– There are no significant changes in the LBS in the Chasovoyarsk direction. Fighting continues on the eastern routes to Hours Yar. The assault operations of the Russian Armed Forces in this direction have noticeably decreased, which cannot be said about the strikes of long-range weapons of Russian troops. The Aerospace Forces and artillery continue to hit Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the city. 09:23 Criminal Kyiv regimecontinuesto fire at the civilian infrastructure of settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region, yesterday during the day the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired from cannon artillery:

08:46 Telegram channel “Fisherman":

Chronicle of a special military operation for April 26, 2024

– During the day, Russian troops carried out several attacks on targets in the so-called frontline areas. Ukraine: one of the targets was an industrial enterprise on the northeastern outskirts of the city of Sumy.

– In the Avdeevsky direction, the Russian Armed Forces, after long battles, completely liberated Semenovka, in the central part of which the Russian flag was already installed on the building. The enemy also retreated from the forest belts adjacent to the village and retreated west towards Novopokrovsky.

– Another success was the advancement of Russian assault groups in Novokalinovo and the actual access to the outskirts of the village of Keramik. At the same time, the situation of the Ukrainian formations in Berdychi became significantly more complicated.

– In the Donetsk direction, fighting continues on the territory of the refractory plant in the center of Krasnogorovka, while the southern part of the settlement is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

White House Uses Walkers To Conceal Biden's Old-Man Shuffle
[ZERO] With the presidential election still more than six months away, President Biden's handlers are under increasing pressure to divert Americans' eyes from his obvious and accelerating mental and physical decline.

Where his deteriorating mental abilities are concerned, we've already seen them using tactics like drastically minimizing his spontaneous interactions with reporters and excessively stage-managing his rare press conferences -- down to furnishing him with answers to questions submitted in advance.

Now comes news that Team Biden's latest stage-management innovation is focused on obscuring his frailty: Uncomfortable with the way Biden looks as he unsteadily shuffles across the White House lawn, one or more staffers now walk at his side, helping to prevent close scrutiny of his gait.
Biden's new shoes.
Biden advisors have told Axios they're uneasy about how he looks when walking and shuffling by himself,

Government Corruption
Newly Unsealed Transcripts Further Prove Mar-a-Lago Raid Was a Setup
Good to know.
[Gateway] Newly unsealed transcripts of a witness interview with a DOJ prosecutor further prove Trump was set up.

Judge Aileen Cannon ordered documents unsealed in Jack Smith’s classified documents case against Trump.

An unidentified witness told DOJ prosecutor Michael Thakur that after the Trump Administration ended, the General Services Administration (GSA) stored six pallets of boxes in Virginia. They eventually contacted Trump’s team and told them to come pick up the boxes.

These were the boxes that ended up having documents with "classified markings" on them. The boxes were dumped outside of DC in Virginia and then ended up at Mar-a-Lago.

This was a total setup.

#1  I don’t think they added anything to the pallet, but they had an exact inventory and were in a hurry to get the material into Trump’s hands. Canceling his Q clearance without telling him
was key. All planned during the Trump Admin. You know what you call when the Executive staff conspires to set up a sitting president. It’s called treason.

#2  FROM CTH 24 Apr 24; link below:
"Last year, CTH outlined a four-part series of articles going deep into the background of the DOJ-FBI raid of President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, along with the outline into why it was important to them. It doesn’t matter how many different legal angles and Deep State justifications the DOJ attempts to deploy in order to divert away from what took place; the background of who, what, when and why they raided Mar-a-Lago will not change.

In Part One, we outlined the background of the modern Deep State {Go Deep}. In Part Two, we outlined the specifics of how President Trump was targeted by political operatives using tools created by the DC system {Go Deep}. In Part Three, we outlined how and why President Trump was blocked from releasing documents {Go Deep}. And then finally, in Part four {GO DEEP} , we assembled the specifics of what documents likely existed in Mar-a-Lago.

It is important to remember, the Presidential Records Act –the presented pretext for the document conflict– is not a criminal statute. An FBI raid cannot be predicated on a document conflict between the National Archives and a former president.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was a retrieval effort where the DOJ/FBI were looking for evidence of their misconduct that Donald Trump may have taken with him after his time in office.

That’s it, that was the core purpose.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) documents issue was the auspices or justification for the raid, but that wasn’t the intent of the raid.

The DOJ/FBI was on a search mission to retain full control of the evidence that showed corrupt and illegal conduct by people in the Obama administration. The DOJ, FBI, DOJ-NSD, FBI Counterintelligence Division, ODNI, CIA, SSCI and Legislative Gang of Eight, all participated or were willfully blind to the 2016/2017 activity of a weaponized government targeting a Republican political candidate. This action was grossly illegal and unlawful. Every action taken post-election was taken to mitigate the legal risk of the participants.

The special counsel was looking for documents held by Donald Trump that touched on declassification and/or pertained to John Durham and Crossfire Hurricane. They were looking for documentary evidence against them that Trump may have held (he did and likely still does).

Again, (1) Crossfire Hurricane, (2) Robert Mueller and (3) John Durham was all one long continuum with a shift in operational intent. CH was the original targeting, RM was the continuation of the targeting and coverup, JD was the coverup and run out the clock operation that never looked at anything RM did.

The number (4) in the continuum was/is Jack Smith.

Paris students end Gaza protests after university agrees to ‘debate' Israel ties
[IsraelTimes] Inspired by encampments on US campuses, pro-Palestinian demonstrators clash with counterprotestors, block access to Paris Institute of Political Studies building

Students at one of France’s most prestigious universities called off protests over the Gaza war on Saturday, following a series of street scuffles between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli groups.

Inspired by anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian encampments at college campuses across the United States, students on Friday blocked access to a building at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, known as Sciences Po, prompting administrators to move all classes online.

With exams scheduled to start soon, the university said on Saturday that the pro-Palestinian students agreed to call off their action in return for an "internal debate" about the university’s ties to Israel.

The pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel protest kicked off a day of drama at the university, which counts French President Emmanuel Macron and French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal among its many famous alumni.

Protesters first occupied a central campus building and blocked the entrance with trash cans, wooden platforms and a bicycle. They also gathered at the building’s windows, chanting anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian slogans, and hung out Palestinian flags and placards.

Later Friday, pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrators faced each other in a tense standoff in the street outside the school. Riot police stepped in to separate the opposing groups.

As night fell, a dwindling group of pro-Palestinian protesters refused to budge, ignoring police orders to evacuate the street and warnings of possible arrests. Eventually, demonstrators came out of the building, carrying a large Palestinian flag, to cheers from the protesters who had been supporting them outside. They then started to stream peacefully away from the area, watched by police.

Among protesters’ demands was that Sciences Po sever ties with Israeli schools. In an email to students, Sciences Po administrator Jean Bassères pledged to hold a town hall meeting in the coming week and to suspend some disciplinary proceedings against students. In return, students "committed to no longer disrupting courses, examinations and all other activities of the institution," the email said.

The Gaza war is sharply divisive in France, which has the largest populations of Muslims and Jews in western Europe. France initially sought to ban pro-Palestinian demonstrations after Hamas’s surprise October 7 attack on Israel that sparked the war. Antisemitism has surged.

On Wednesday evening, more than 100 pro-Palestinian protesters had also occupied a Sciences Po amphitheater. Most agreed to leave after discussions with management, but a small group of students remained. They were removed by police later that night, according to French media reports.

The university administration closed all university buildings and moved classes online Friday. It said in a statement it "strongly condemns these student actions which prevent the proper functioning of the institution and penalize Sciences Po students, teachers and employees."

Louise, a protester, said the students’ actions were inspired by similar demonstrations at New York’s Columbia University and other US campuses.

"But our solidarity remains first and foremost with the Palestinian people," she said. She spoke on condition that only her first name be used over concerns of repercussions.

Hochstein presents new proposal to Israeli officials
[An Nahar] U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein arrived in Israel on Friday and might visit Beirut to discuss the possibility of "containing the situations on the border with Leb

Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...

According to media reports, Hochstein submitted a new proposal for ending the Israel-Hezbollah escalation during a meeting with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

The informed sources meanwhile told al-Akhbar that Hochstein is "trying to return everyone to the rules of engagement, amid a U.S. belief that calm in Lebanon will not be achieved before reaching a major agreement that involves Gazoo

Syrsky warns the West about the difficult situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, at a meeting of the contact group in the Ramstein format, notified Kiev’s Western allies about the difficult situation at the front for the Ukrainian military.

“I informed the coalition participants about the difficult operational-strategic situation, which tends to escalate,” Syrsky said on the Telegram channel.

According to him, he also outlined to Western countries Kyiv’s current needs for missiles, ammunition and equipment.

As Regnum news agency reported, on April 22, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed as terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation), said that a difficult situation awaits Ukraine from mid-May to early June. He explained that difficulties at the front will begin when the Russian Armed Forces launch a major offensive in the Donbass.

National Review columnist Andrew Stattaford wrote on April 14 that Ukraine could lose the conflict with Russia as early as the summer. In his opinion, such a defeat could lead to the collapse of the “American world.”

The French publication Le Figaro reported on April 12 that Western countries are already expecting Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict. It was noted that the huge losses of Ukrainian troops against the backdrop of the transparency of the front and the accuracy of strikes by the Russian army make any attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces “labor-intensive and costly in terms of human lives.”

Bloomberg reported on April 11, citing sources, that the next few months will be the most difficult test for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter, speaking on the Ask the Inspector podcast, noted that the regime of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will fall in the coming months.

Former adviser to Kuchma said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not want to carry out Syrsky’s orders

Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuse to carry out the orders of the command, and the army leadership cannot do anything about it, Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, said on April 27.

Some brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not obey the new army command, Soskin said during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

“The situation is very bad for Ukraine, and (Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander. - Ed.) Syrsky cannot do anything. In addition, based on indirect signs, in Avdeevka and Ocheretino, and other things, we can say that a rebellion is brewing in the army. That is, some of the brigades do not obey Syrsky and the new leadership,” Soskin said.

The situation at the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is depressing, added Kuchma’s ex-adviser.

As Regnum reported, on April 26, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, removed from the post of commander of the support forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Yakovets, who was appointed to this post less than two months ago, on March 4. The reasons for the dismissal were not specified.

In early April, it was also reported that Zelensky fired the commanders of the operational commands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “West” and “South” Sergei Litvinov and Andrei Kovalchuk. No reasons were given.

In February 2024, Zelensky dismissed Valery Zaluzhny as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and appointed Alexander Syrsky to this position. The head of the Kiev regime explained this decision by military failures during the “counter-offensive” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In March, it was reported that military personnel of the elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine accused Zelensky of the upcoming big “catastrophe.” The unit’s fighters criticized Syrsky and said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are “ on the edge of the abyss ” after the dismissal of “the most adequate ones.”

Fifth Column
This is the way 1968 ends...
[BENJAMINKERSTEIN] ...The most powerful and influential form of radicalism in the Western world today has no real name in the United States. It does in France, or at least its adherents do: les soixante-huitards, "the ’68ers."
Pre-cursed by those from 67...
On this day in history, April 28, 1967, Muhammad Ali refuses to serve military at height of Vietnam War
Followed by the restful, '69ers'.

The term refers to the radicals who took part in the 1968 student riots in Paris, as well as their ideology and the movements that emerged out of it: Third-worldism, environmentalism, anti-Americanism, anti-racism, etc. In many ways, the ethos of this kind of 1968ism defines the modern left. It has rarely achieved outright political power; it rarely wins elections; but it exercises hegemony over culture and higher education, as well as the activist industry.

A short background review
...But their greatest success was the long march. Named for the Chinese communists’ legendary trek to northern China that ensured their survival and eventual takeover, the plan was simple: Conquer the universities, install radicals at all levels of faculty and administration, and then consolidate a totalitarian regime, a dictatorship of the professoriate, that would colonize and control the mind of America’s elite.

This takeover would be enabled by tactics drawn from the radical movements of the past: They would purge all dissenters by means fair or foul. Those they could not purge, they would ostracize and isolate. They would subject even those who remained neutral to rituals of public repentance and submission in the style of the Chinese Cultural Revolution—Mao’s brutal campaign against "ideological deviationism" that maimed and murdered thousands. If necessary, they would resort to outright violence and terrorism. In other words, they would construct and impose a suicide cult "by any means necessary."

Their success was spectacular and we are seeing the results today. As we speak, antisemitic mobs have conquered and colonized many of America’s most elite institutions of higher learning. They advocate terrorism and genocide; brutally intimidate, abuse, and physically attack Jewish students; and call for not just the destruction of Israel but the annihilation of America itself.

Even though all of this is a direct violation of these universities’ alleged codes of conduct, as well as numerous local, state, and federal laws, those who have the power to stop them have refused to do so. Many have endorsed the mob and more still are too terrified to take action against what they know to be evil.
Sopranos star: "People are afraid to have those conversations, because first of all, you never win with a liberal, you're just never gonna win."
They have good reason. They know quite well that if they were to take effective action, if they were to enforce their own codes, laws, and alleged principles, they would have to expel large sections of their student bodies. They would have to fire equally large numbers of faculty. They would have to cleanse their administrations of enablers and collaborators. They would have to break the regime. This, they are utterly unwilling to do.

The reason is 1968. Even if they know that the mob is immoral and indeed monstrous, those who should know better—who do know better—are still ’68ers. They believe in the basic tenets of 1968ism: America is corrupted by racism, imperialism, patriarchy, and their attendant evils. Radical action is necessary to change this. There are no enemies to the left. The chickens come home to roost by any means necessary. Ideological deviationism cannot be tolerated. Ideological deviationism is whatever they happen to disapprove of at any given moment. If all else fails, exterminate all the brutes.

The result of all this is now clear: The ’68ers and the radical left as a whole have collapsed into something very like Nazism. Whatever their protestations otherwise, the parallels are obvious: Theirs is a minority movement that wields the mob to impose its ideology on the majority. It sees the past as compromised and corrupt and will redeem it by any means necessary. It looks to a glorious future of tyrannical virtue. It takes over institutions of education, government, and culture and uses them to destroy those institutions and impose a totalitarian regime. It is perfectly willing to use horrific violence to achieve this. Its capacity to tolerate dissent is nil. And now, it has embraced racism, antisemitism, and genocide. Exterminate all the brutes.

...In such a situation, however, an enemy must be found, a focus of all the inchoate energies of hate and violence buried deep in every human psyche. There must be someone to blame, a scapegoat for all the ills that the radicals have failed to overcome. And like the Nazis, they have found the ready victim, the eternal villain and the eternal scapegoat. They have found the Jews.
And the Jews found E = mc^2.

Russian Def Min: Central Asia Threatened by Terrorists 'In Afghanistan'
[TOLONEWS] At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's defense ministers' meeting in Kazakhstan, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed that the main threat to Central Asia originates from terrorists bully boyz based in Afghanistan.

The Russian Defense Minister also spoke at the meeting about America's efforts to regain influence in the region following its withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Sergei Shoigu said, "The main danger to Central Asia comes from extremist turban terrorist groups based in Afghanistan, and the United States is trying to influence the region after its 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan."

The Islamic Emirate has repeatedly stated that Afghan soil will not be used against any country.

Some military experts believe that there are no terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

Abdul Hadi Quraishi, a military affairs expert, told TOLOnews: "Russia and China should be assured that there is no threat from Afghan soil against Central Asia and the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and it is the policy of the Islamic Emirate that Afghan soil does not pose a threat to any country in the world and will not do so."

Hekmatullah Hekmat, a military affairs expert, said: "Afghan soil is currently not hosting any terrorist groups, and it is the hope of the current government's officials to maintain their neutrality in such interactions and consider national interests."

The Islamic Emirate has consistently called the claims of terrorist groups' presence in Afghanistan unfounded.

Ukrainian Armed Forces about the situation in Ocheretino
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting stubbornly in the Donbass.

The part of the settlement into which the enemy broke through is under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to OSGV Khortytsia.
The Ukrainian military maintains two-thirds of the villages of Ocheretino and Solovyevo in the Donetsk region. Speaker of the OSGV Khortitsa Nazar Voloshin said this during a telethon on Saturday, April 27.

According to him, in order to be able to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Novobakhmutovka - Ocheretino, the Russians deployed additional reserves there - the 55th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

“Now two-thirds of the village of Ocheretino is under our control. The part of the village into which the enemy broke through is under our fire control. The enemy is blocked, and measures are being taken to drive him out of there. Heavy fighting continues there, but the situation is under control,” Voloshin assured.

He claims that in Solovyov the situation is approximately the same - approximately two-thirds of the village is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and part of the village, into which the enemy also broke through, is under fire control. Heavy fighting continues there as well.

Let us remind you that two days ago the Russians broke into the village of Ocheretino north-west of Avdeevka. This is fraught with the collapse of the entire defense line in the Pokrovsky direction, the creation of which the Ukrainian command was forced to begin after leaving Avdiivka.

Russians gained a foothold in part of Ocheretinoye
The fighting for Ocheretino continues.
The DeepState analytical project reported that the occupiers had captured the village of Berdichi south of Ocheretinoye.

The Russians have gained a foothold in part of the village of Ocheretino in the Donetsk region, said Nazar Voloshin, spokesman for the Khortitsa group of troops, during a telethon.

“The enemy managed to break through and gain a foothold in a certain part of this settlement (Ocheretino). Now the part where the enemy is located is under our fire control. All measures are being taken to drive the enemy out of there, heavy fighting continues. The situation is controlled by units of the Defense Forces,” – Voloshin said.

According to him, in the Ocheretinoye area the Russians deployed 4 brigades of their armed forces.

“On our part, we are taking all measures to stabilize the situation in the Avdeevsky direction and return control over Ocheretin. For this purpose, additional forces and resources have been introduced from the reserve,” the speaker said.

At the same time, the analytical project DeepState reported on the capture by the invaders of the village of Berdichev to the south of Ocheretinoye: “The Katsaps captured Berdichie, hanging their rag on the western outskirts of the village. The fighting west of Berdichev continues. The defense forces are conducting rearguard battles. It is impossible to maintain the line of contact in its current form, therefore, leaving the northern outskirts of the village is a necessary measure. But the most important thing is the preservation of personnel.

Let us recall that two days ago the Russians broke into the village of Ocheretino, north-west of Avdeevka. This is fraught with the collapse of the entire defense line in the Pokrovsky direction, the creation of which the Ukrainian command was forced to begin after leaving Avdiivka.

Ocheretiny and Solovyovoi in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military is blocking the enemy and working to knock out the enemy's forces from their positions.

Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman of the "Khortytsia" OSU, stated this on the air of the telethon, writes Ukrinform.

"In order to be able to break through our defenses in the direction of Novobakhmutivka - Ocheretyne, the Russian Federation introduced additional reserves there - the 55th motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Currently, two-thirds of Ocheretyne settlements are under our control. The part of the settlement, into which the enemy broke through, is under our fire control. The enemy is blocked, and measures are being taken to knock him out of there. Heavy fighting continues there, but the situation is under control," the spokesman said.

As for the settlement of Solovyove, the situation there is similar — approximately two-thirds of the settlement is under the control of the Armed Forces. Also, the part of the settlement that was captured by the enemy is under the fire control of the Defense Forces, heavy fighting is going on there.
