Clovis brewery prints 'Epstein didn't kill himself' on the bottom of cans
CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) – Questions surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's apparent suicide have popped up everywhere lately, and now they have even made their way to the bottom of a beer can.

Printed on the bottom of the cans sold at Tatical Ops Brewing in Fresno is the message, "2019/11/06 EPSTEIN DIDNT KILL HIMSELF."

Manager Carlos Tovar said he first thought of the idea about a week ago.

The idea came to him because the question of if Jeffrey Epstein actually committed suicide is "a big thing right now."

"Epstein didn't kill himself" memes have taken social media and the internet by storm since his death was first reported.

The brewery will only be releasing one batch of the cans, about 54 packs worth.

The message can be found printed underneath blue cans of their Basher Oatmeal Stout.

The cans are already available for purchase, you can pick up a pack after 4 p.m., which is when the business opens for the day.

Elizabeth Warren: ‘Black trans and cis women, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary people are the backbone of our democracy'
Ten Years After (1971) - I'd love to change the world: "Everywhere is freaks and hairies
D*kes and fairies, tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich, feed the poor
'Til there are no rich no more?"

Image and source description courtesy of Bobby.
[American Thinker, and Pokey-haunt-us own Twitter thread] I am not certain when pandering to transgender people became necessary for any Democrat running for president. Nor do I know what percentage of Democrats are totally convinced that saying you are of the opposite gender means that you are of the opposite gender.

But Elizabeth Warren, reacting to an endorsement from a group calling itself "Black Womxn For" spread the pandering on thick:
"Thank you, @BlackWomxnFor! Black trans and cis women, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary people are the backbone of our democracy and I don’t take this endorsement lightly. I'm committed to fighting alongside you for the big, structural change our country needs. https://twitter.com/BlackWomxnFor/status/1192457539541225472 ..."

'Lt.-Col. Alexander Vindman's vilification by Jews is particularly shameful (bha, ha,ha)
[Jpost] The writer is heartfelt, scarred by generations of Joo-hatred back in the olde country, but it’s a bit off the mark to accuse those who vilify Col. Vindman as having dual loyalties to Ukraine of being Joo haters when nobody, including me, had any idea he was Jewish until a fuss was made about the fussers. The usual accusation is that Jews are loyal to Israel, which nobody is claiming in this case.

#1  Stop. Just stop.

Vindman is a citizen and as such he and his partisans will need to be big boys and girls, and accept the fact that when he chose to descend into the political arena, he would as a political figure be exposed to political attacks. End of story.

His faith or ethnicity has nothing to do with this matter.

#2  Lt Col Vindman is a serving, active duty officer. He disobeyed an order not to appear before Congress. On his own initiative, and against that order, he appeared, because he FELT that it was important to do so. Unfortunately for Lt Col Vindman, his opinion and feelings are NOT justification for disobeying a legal order.
He really should be court martialed.

#5  I don't care if you're a jew, christian, whatever... if you're in a uniform you're going to be treated like an officer first. That is the very meaning of a uniform. Being an officer is way easier than maintaining loyalty to any religion, community, or political factions - it's a life liberated from such conceits. This Vindbag just failed even that. I don't think any community can trust him.

“11,000 scientists” climate emergency petition includes a bunch of fake names
[WUWT] From the “there’s no quality control in climate science” department comes this laughable revelation, via the Australian:

Scientists’ petition on climate crisis blocked over fake signatories.

Dozens of signatories including Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore from Hogwarts have been removed from an Alliance of World Scientists declaration of a “climate emergency”.

Access to the 11,000 name-petition that accompanied a statement of concern published in BioScience on Tuesday was blocked on Thursday.

A statement issued by Oregon State University said “an administrative error unfortunately saw the inclusion of a small number of invalid names”.

24K Voter Records in Florida County Contain Errors, Potential Fraud
[Free Beacon] Legal group finds hundreds of double voting cases, thousands of deceased voters on rolls in Palm Beach County

An election integrity watchdog has found 24,000 instances of irregularities among the voter rolls in Palm Beach County, Fla., according to a new report.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a group that litigates to protect election integrity, discovered double voting by the same registrants, double registrants across state lines, deceased voters on rolls, and apparent noncitizens previously registered to vote in Palm Beach County following a three-month investigation involving office visits, records inspections, and voter roll audits.

The findings raise concerns in the swing state one year out from the 2020 elections. It was Florida's election results that sent the 2000 presidential race between George W. Bush and Al Gore to the Supreme Court. Palm Beach County itself faced massive criticism as recently as the 2018 midterm elections when it could not finish three state-mandated recounts by imposed deadlines. The events led to the county's supervisor of elections, Susan Bucher, being ousted from her position and the implementation of a $15 million voting overhaul.

"Concerns ranged from apparent clerical errors memorialized in voter records to evidence of dead and double voting," PILF's report states. "Seemingly unlawful claims of business and government addresses were also found used as residential ones. Some individuals (unwillingly or otherwise) even demonstrated an ability to register multiple times under the same name, address, and date of birth thanks to human or computer system errors between the county elections office and Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles personnel. Perhaps most alarming of all, apparent noncitizens were documented registering to vote in Palm Beach County‐sometimes while admitting their immigration status on voter applications."

Former ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch 'used her personal email account to message Democrat staffer over a
[DailyMail - Where America gets its news] The former US ambassador to Ukraine used her personal email account to message a Democratic staffer over a 'delicate issue' a month before the whistleblower complaint was made public, according to Fox News.

Marie Yovanovitch testified under oath she had not replied to Democratic congressional staffer Laura Carey.

Three-time ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, who was abruptly recalled from Kiev in May, gave a closed-door deposition on October 11 to three congressional committees investigating whether there were grounds to impeach Trump.

She is a key witness in House Democrats' impeachment inquiry which began on September 24 after a whistleblower's allegations that Trump pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate unsubstantiated corruption charges against Democratic political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Carey's emails and Yovanovitch's reported replies will raise questions of who knew about the whistleblower complaint before it was made public and which Democrats were warned of its contents. It will also lead to question on whether Yovanovitch committed perjury.

Yovanovitch is said to have replied to Carey regarding the 'time-sensitive' issue two days after the whistleblower filed their complaint over Trump's infamous call with the Ukrainian president.

That despite telling Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin: 'I alerted the State Department, because I'm still an employee, and so, matters are generally handled through the State Department.'

Yovanovitch added: 'So, she emailed me. I alerted the State Department and, you know, asked them to handle the correspondence. And, she emailed me again and said, you know, who should I be in touch with?

'I didn't respond to that email, because I had already transferred everything to the State Department and I figured they would be in touch, and they were.'

But Fox News reports she did reply, writing she 'would love to reconnect and look forward to chatting with you'.
Establishing the initial personal meet (PM).
'Could you let me know if you have any time this week or next to connect? Happy to come to a place of your choosing, or if easier, to speak by phone at either of the numbers below. I'm also around this weekend if meeting up over coffee works.'
I'll be wearing a dark grey suit with matching hat and carrying my Yorkie named Smitty.
Zeldin told the network: 'I would highly suspect that this Democratic staffer's work was connected in some way to the whistleblower's effort, which has evolved into this impeachment charade.

'We do know that the whistleblower was in contact with [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff's team before the whistleblower had even hired an attorney or filed a whistleblower complaint even though Schiff had lied to the public originally claiming that there was no contact.

'Additionally, while the contents of the email from this staffer to Ambassador Yovanovitch clearly state what the conversation would be regarding, Yovanovitch, when I asked her specifically what the staffer was looking to speak about, did not provide these details.

'I specifically asked her whether the Democratic staffer was responded to by Yovanovitch or the State Department.

'It is greatly concerning that Ambassador Yovanovitch didn't answer my question as honestly as she should have, especially while under oath.'

A Democratic House Foreign Affairs Committee spokesperson said the correspondence was 'to hear from an ambassador whose assignment was cut short under unusual circumstances'.

OTOH, leaving them in place revealed much to Americans about the Donks and their stranglehold on Deepstate. Much more swamp-draining budget-cutting and downsizing needed.

#4  This could be a turning-point in the war waged on us by the DS. Note that Trump has already won the battle over the federal judiciary: in addition to his iirc 144 federal appointees (and 55 pending), there's Kavanaugh and Gorsuch, two of the leading academic scholars on the judicial overreaches of the administrative state.

Think of the judicial front as the equivalent of Grant and Sherman's campaigns in the West in 1862, when the Army of the Republic was getting its arse kicked in Virginia. McClellan = Sessions and the other washouts of the pre-Barr phase of Trump's first term.

Soon-- with Durham's grand jury and the indictments to follow-- we will see victories on the main political/Congressional front as well as on the judicial front.

The tide has turned.

U.S. sanctions leader of Mali Islamist militant group
[Jpost] The United States on Thursday imposed sanctions on the leader of an Islamist murderous Moslem group in Mali called the Macina Liberation Front,
...one of the local groups within Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Moslemin (JNIM), the regional umbrella affiliated with Al Qaeda in North Africa. MLF draws from the cattle-herding Fulani tribe extant in Mali, Niger, and Nigeria, which appeared in 2015 for the purpose of jihading against the farming tribes of Dogon and Bambara
the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement on its website on Thursday.

The sanctions target Amadou Koufa, a Salafist preacher and leader of the al Qaeda-linked group operating in Central Mali. French officials last year had said the murderous Moslem leader had died in a raid in the former French colony, but he appeared in a propaganda video in February.

U.S. sanctions block any assets Koufa may have under U.S. control and bars any persons or entities in the United States from any dealings or transactions with him.

U.S. officials in July added two other leaders of an al Qaeda affiliate in Mali to its global terrorism list.

Afghanistan
Taliban kills an Afghan scholar on travel
[KhaamaPress] Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
has killed an Afghan scholar who was in the way to travel from Baghlan to northern Kunduz province.

Aziz Ahmad Panjshiri, scholar and university lecturer has been killed by the Talibs in a highway between Baghlan and Kunduz provinces, Jawid Besharat, the spokesperson for Baghlan province confirmed.

The incident has taken place on Tuesday in the Hematkhil district of the new Baghlan city, where Talibs have wide appearance, Besharat said.

Taliban has not so far commented on this murder case.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money...
and his Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah
...the former foreign minister of the Northern Alliance government, advisor to Masood, and candidate for president against both Karzai and Ghani. Dr. Abdullah was born in Kabul and is half Tadjik and half Pashtun. He also held the meaningless salaried sop position as CEO of Afghanistan, while Ghani was president...
have released their condolence messages saying the Taliban cannot weaken the cultural and educational sector by showing violence and terroristic acts.

Aziz Ahmad Panjshiri was a 70 year old scholar and lecturer at the Kabul University. Panshiri was also a cultural advisor to the Kabul mayor, Ahmad Zaki Sarfaraz.

Ohio detective dies after being shot twice in face during drug raid
[FOX] An Ohio detective who was shot twice in the face while serving a drug-related warrant on Monday has died, police said Thursday.

"We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Det. Jorge Del Rio who succumbed to a line of duty injury today," the Dayton Police Department tweeted.

"Earlier today at Grandview Hospital, Det. Del Rio acted to save lives through the generous gift of organ donation."

Del Rio, a 30-year veteran of the department, was shot while working with a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) task force, Police Chief Richard Biehl had said.

Cash, fentanyl and marijuana, along with three weapons each containing a 30-round magazine, were recovered from the scene, investigators said.

The suspected shooter, Nathan Goddard, 39, was charged with felonious assault on an agent, according to U.S. Attorney Dave DeVillers.

Cahke Cortner, 39, and Lionel Combs III, 40, were charged with conspiring to distribute drugs, according to an affidavit. Courtney Allen, 34, also was in custody in connection to the shooting, the station said.

The DEA’s Dayton office reportedly conducted an investigation on a Dayton fentanyl operation between July and October, which led them to believe Goddard was a supplier. Police were conducting a search warrant on the suspected home Monday when Del Rio was shot, they said.

France reopens contested Jewish tomb in east Jerusalem
JERUSALEM (AP) ‐ French authorities reopened one of Jerusalem’s most magnificent ancient tombs to the public for the first time in over a decade, despite a dispute over access to the archaeological-cum-holy site in the city’s volatile eastern half.

After several aborted attempts, the French Consulate General reopened the Tomb of the Kings last month. But tensions between French authorities and Israeli nationalists and ultra-Orthodox Jews who seek open worship at the tomb and challenge France’s ownership continue to make day to day operations problematic at the site.

France, which has managed the property since the late 19th century, closed the site for an extensive $1.1 million restoration in 2009. The French tricolor flutters over the site’s massive black gate marked with the words "Republique Francaise," which obscures the grand 2,000-year-old mausoleum and Jewish ritual baths from the street.

The Tomb of the Kings is an underground burial complex dating to the first century BC and "definitely one of the most elaborately decorated tombs that we have from the early Roman period in Jerusalem," said Orit Peleg-Barkat, a Hebrew University archaeologist. Access to the interior burial chambers is prohibited.

NATO experiencing 'brain death', France's Macron says
BERLIN/PARIS (Reuters) - France’s president warned fellow European countries on Thursday that NATO was dying, citing a lack of coordination and U.S. unpredictability under President Donald Trump, comments quickly rejected as "drastic" by the German chancellor.

In an interview with British weekly The Economist, Emmanuel Macron expressed doubt about U.S.-led NATO’s security maxim that an attack on one ally is an attack on all, which has underpinned transatlantic ties since the alliance’s 1949 foundation.

"What we are currently experiencing is the brain death of NATO," Macron said. Asked whether he still believed in the Article Five collective defense guarantee of NATO’s treaty, Macron answered: "I don’t know," although he said the United States would remain an ally.

Macron has said there is a lack of strategic coordination between European allies on the one hand and the United States and Turkey, with NATO’s second largest military, on the other.

#6  But why? European industry is competing with American industry. How would recommitting to NATO benefit the US? IMO this only benefits Europe, not the US. People say "oh no, the US is not the world leader anymore, they cannot be relied upon". Quite frankly as an American I'm glad this is happening. I'm tired of trillions of tax dollars on nation rebuilding, endless ME wars/Proxy wars. The US is now the worlds largest Oil producer. The US also has Mexico and Canada, two friendly neighbors to buy energy from as well. The smartest thing to do is get out of the ME, since we won't need Arabian Oil anymore. Also pull forces out of Europe, or realign them to Poland, where they actually want us there. There's no reason to have a huge Airbase in Germany if they're buying LNG from an enemy and they don't want us there anyways. Also since EU is competing with US it makes no sense to reengage Brussels. We can work better trade deals with the UK, once they leave. IMO the way things are now, there's really no financial benefit to the US when it comes to NATO and the ME anymore.

It's strange how neither the threat of Soviet annihilation nor potential Chinese autocratic hegemony gets Europe to think about upping its military defense.

No, it's when a US president says some mean things about pulling your own weight and paying your fair share. THAT'S the bridge too far.

What would a Bernie Sanders presidency mean for Israel?
[Jpost] The crowd at J Street conference in Washington stood on his legs and gave a long standing ovation to Senator Bernie Sanders as he entered the stage last week during the progressive group's annual conference. The very first question he was asked was about his view on military aid to Israel. The Vermont Senator laid out a controversial plan, suggesting he would use the military assistance to Israel to pressure the government to change its policy.

"I would use the leverage of $3.8 billion ‐ it is a lot of money [...] we have a right to demand respect for human rights and democracy," he said. "Some of that $3.8b. should go right now into humanitarian aid in Gaza." Since that moment, the debate about military aid to Israel became a campaign issue in the Democratic primaries.

China, U.S. agree tariff rollback if phase one trade deal is completed
WASHINGTON/BEIJING (Reuters) - China and the United States have agreed to roll back tariffs on each others’ goods in a "phase one" trade deal if it is completed, officials from both sides said on Thursday, sparking division among some advisers to President Donald Trump.

The Chinese Commerce Ministry, without laying out a timetable, said the two countries had agreed to cancel the tariffs in phases.

A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the rollback would be part of the first phase of a trade agreement that is still being put to paper for Trump and President Xi Jinping to sign.

White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told Fox News Channel the United States is "very, very optimistic" about completing a deal that would defuse a 16-month trade war between the world’s two largest economies.

Whistleblower Revealed To Be Recently Hired White House Janitor Hillarita Clintonez
[Babylon Bee] WASHINGTON, D.C.---Much ink has been spilled over the possible identity of the whistleblower, but there seems to have been a breakthrough in the case.

The sudden revelation of the whistleblower occurred after a review of recent White House hires uncovered discrepancies in the paperwork of one Hillarita Clintonez.

Sources claim the janitor was seen wiping down a bust of Abraham Lincoln as President Trump made his controversial phone call to Ukraine.

"Excuse me, sir. I need to wipe down the receiver," she reportedly said to Trump after he made the call before slipping an electronic device into her pocket.

Trump confronted "Clintonez" in the halls of the West Wing this afternoon. "Stop right there!" he yelled. Realizing she'd been caught, the mysterious woman pushed her cleaning cart into Trump's path and dived into a ventilation duct. He chased after her.

Navigating the corridors in a wacky chase sequence, the two emerged on top of the White House roof.

"You're trapped. Like a dog!" Trump shouted.

"You'll always remember this as the day when you almost caught Señora Hillarita Clintonez!" she cried out as she jumped off the roof to a waiting helicopter.

"Curse you, whistleblowing scuuum!!!" Trump cried as she made her escape.

[J-Post] The London-based Jewish Chronicle, Britain’s oldest Jewish newspaper, published a front-page editorial calling on "our fellow British citizens" not to vote for Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn in next month’s national elections.

"The vast majority of British Jews consider Jeremy Corbyn to be an antisemite. In the most recent poll, last month, the figure was 87 per cent," read the editorial, which also criticized Corbyn for his failure to deal with antisemitism in the party.

Professor who fled Romanian Communism now flees Columbia University
[Hot Air] Andrei Serban is a world-renowned theater and opera director and was until recently a professor at Columbia University. After 27 years at the school, he resigned his position because he felt the political correctness at Columbia had reached a point of absurdity. Serban, who was born in Romania and fled communism for the United States, told a Romanian TV show that he felt he was "living under communism again" at Columbia. A video of Serban’s appearance on the show with English subtitles appeared on YouTube earlier this week in which he describes the reasons he resigned.

"What’s happening in the Trump era, the right is radicalized and the left is very radicalized," Serban said. He continued, "Universities in America are usually left. Columbia is some sort of socialist left on its way to full blown communism, a new strain of communism."

The East Europeans who come here don't realize that their experience of the arts -- in Romania, Russia, Czech, Serbia, Poland etc -- has been the way the arts used to be in this country and the West generally: a serious profession, heavily dominated by straight alpha males making serious creative productions. That's how E. Europe produced a generation that included Kundera, Havel, Bondarchuk, Shostakovich et al.

That ceased to be the case at least two generations ago. I pity the East European directors, playwrights, novelists etc. They're really better off in their home countries than here.

Donald Trump and The Art of Political Warfare
Over the past three decades far too many Republicans and Establishment Conservatives have acquiesced to the conventional wisdom that the American Left (i.e. the Democratic Party), are superior tacticians in the arena of political warfare. This hypothesis took hold as spineless Republicans and the Washington-based conservative intelligentsia were willingly intimidated by the Left and their allies in the mainstream media. But is this cabal nonpareil political tacticians or just the overconfident beneficiary of decades of feckless and near non-existent opposition?

The election of Donald Trump in 2016, the subsequent reaction and the repeated failed attempts to intimidate, remove or effectively castrate him by the Democrats and the mainstream media graphically illustrates that this cabal may well be the Keystone Kops of political warfare.
That's, IMO, an insult to Keystone Kops
...the cabal that is the American Left, the Democratic Party, and the mainstream media are a hodge podge of dedicated Marxists, bureaucrats, academics, pundits, politicians and elite wannabes who have but one thing in common: a crippling and overweening self-absorption. The majority do not favor outright Socialism or radical environmentalism but cynically ally with those that do as means to an end: their permanent control and individual involvement in operating levers of ever-expanding governmental power.

Thus, there is no coherent and consistent philosophy or guiding political principles undergirding this army of egotists. They do not now nor have they ever known who they are. Thus, if they ever succeeded in achieving their goal of permanent control of the levers of power, this nation would descend into unbridled and violent chaos.

Over the past 30 years the Left and the Democratic Party have utilized a dog-eared playbook whose only entry encompasses the personal destruction of any opponent by any means possible as their singular strategy. Just the threat of or the opening salvo of this tactic has been successful as innumerable Republican and conservative leaders surrendered virtually without a fight. The Left knew its enemy but its enemy did not know the Left. Accordingly, the Left calmly and unemotionally went about forcing Republicans out of office or dramatically changing their positions on an issue.

That is until Donald Trump burst upon the scene and vengeance for being Donald Trump and defeating the crown princess, Hillary Clinton, became the overriding emotion of the anti-Trump cabal. However, they still relied on the same 30-year old dog-eared playbook as they stumbled and fumbled amid the pratfalls of "getting" Trump.

Italy surpasses Greece as euro area's riskiest borrower
h/t Instapundit
Greece has lost the dubious distinction of being the riskiest government borrower in the eurozone after its bond yields dipped below Italy’s for the first time since 2008.

Greek bonds have staged a powerful rally this year as investors hungry for yields have snapped up debt from former euro area crisis spots ‐ a trend that gained further momentum after Standard & Poor’s upgraded Athens’ credit rating to BB- late last month. Italian debt also performed strongly during the summer’s global bond rally, but some investors remain wary due to the effects of last year’s political tensions.

U.S. Dependence on Pharmaceutical Products From China
h/t Instapundit
Last month, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission held a hearing on the United States’ growing reliance on China's pharmaceutical products. The topic reminded me of a spirited discussion described in Bob Woodward’s book, Fear: Trump in the White House. In the discussion, Gary Cohn, then chief economic advisor to President Trump, argued against a trade war with China by invoking a Department of Commerce study that found that 97 percent of all antibiotics in the United States came from China. "If you’re the Chinese and you want to really just destroy us, just stop sending us antibiotics," he said.

Cohn’s words highlight a security concern associated with pharmaceuticals from China. As Rosemary Gibson noted in her testimony, centralization of the global supply chain of medicines in a single country makes it vulnerable to interruption, "whether by mistake or design." If we are dependent on China for thousands of ingredients and raw materials to make our medicine, China could use this dependence as a weapon against us. While the Department of Defense only purchases a small quantity of finished pharmaceuticals from China, about 80 percent of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used to make drugs in the United States are said to come from China and other countries like India. For example, the chemical starting material used to make doxycycline, the recommended treatment for anthrax exposure, comes from China. When an influential Chinese economist earlier this year suggested that Beijing curb its exports of raw materials for vitamins and antibiotics as a countermeasure in the trade war with the United States, the worries surrounding our API dependence to China seemed to be vindicated. Concern about a disruption in the supply chain could explain why the tariffs on Chinese products proposed by the United States Trade Representative in May 2019, worth approximately $300 billion, excludes "pharmaceuticals, certain pharmaceutical inputs, and select medical goods."

A Tennessee Police Department's Last Officer Resigns Over Ticket Quotas
[Reason] Ridgetop Police Chief Bryan Morris submitted his resignation on Friday. The Tennessee city is now without a police force and it's all due to a disagreement over illegal ticket quotas.

In January, FOX 17 released explosive reports that implicated Ridgetop Mayor Tony Reasoner and Vice Mayor McCaw Johnson in a scheme to generate revenue for the city of just over 2,000 by directing the police department as a whole to write a minimum of 210 tickets each month. The officers pushed back and finally took it upon themselves to secretly record Reasoner and Johnson. The recordings were then handed over to FOX 17.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Katie Pavlich Ties ABC's Epstein Cover-Up To Clintons, Stephanopoulos
[Daily Caller] Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich drew a straight line from ABC’s alleged quashing of a bombshell Jeffrey Epstein story to the network’s news anchor with ties to the Clintons.

Pavlich, who appeared Wednesday on "Tucker Carlson Tonight," suggested that ABC’s reluctance to cover a story that tied former President Bill Clinton and others to the late convicted pedophile could be summed up in just one name: veteran ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos.

"There’s no question, executives at ABC protected Jeffrey Epstein," host Tucker Carlson began. "Why do you think they did that?"

"Because their star anchor’s name is George Stephanopoulos and of course George Stephanopoulos worked as Bill Clinton’s communications director at the White House," Pavlich explained. "And when was this information given to Robach at ABC? When did she bring all this to her executives to say we should put this to air? Right before the 2016 election when Hillary Clinton was running on the Democratic ticket."

Pavlich went on to add that Stephanopoulos had his own direct connection to Epstein as well, noting that the ABC journalist had attended a dinner party at Epstein’s home after Epstein served 13 months for soliciting underage girls.

"You’re saying at the time Amy Robach took this story to her superiors and they said, ’I don’t know who Jeffrey Epstein is,’ his name was already all over the news as a convicted sex offender," Carlson clarified.

"This all comes down to the Clintons, George Stephanopoulos working at ABC and the circle of connections they have there, and protecting not just the Clintons of course, because that is something they are willing to do for political purposes," Pavlich continued. "According to ABC’s editorial standards, which we keep hearing about, the standards are necessarily about accusers bringing forward evidence on someone who had already been convicted of similar crimes, but instead to protect political people and friends who are beneficial to them and who have very, very close connections to people in their network who claim to be leading journalists, like George Stephanopoulos."

"But it’s not just ABC," Carlson added. "The reaction has been fascinating in that MSNBC and CNN, both of which have media reporters, have essentially ignored the story."

"Yeah, they are still not touching it," Pavlich agreed.

#1  Epstein's Number-2, Ghislaine Maxwell (yes, the woman we no longer hear about) needs a bit of looking into. Some interesting nonprofit closures found below:

Wiki: In 2012, Maxwell founded The TerraMar Project,[63] a nonprofit organization that advocated the protection of oceans. She gave a lecture for TerraMar at the University of Texas at Dallas and a TED talk, at TEDx Charlottesville in 2014.[64] Maxwell accompanied Stuart Beck, a 2013 TerraMar board member, to two United Nations meetings to discuss the project.[18]

The TerraMar Project announced closure on 12 July 2019, less than a week after charges of sex trafficking brought by New York federal prosecutors against Epstein became public.[65][2] An associated, UK-based company, Terramar (UK), continues to exist, with Maxwell listed as a director.[66] An application for the UK organisation to be officially closed was made on 4 September 2019, with the first notice in The London Gazette made on 17 September 2019.[67] The second notice will follow in November 2019.[67]

TerraMar (UK)
TerraMar (UK) is a separate private limited company in the United Kingdom, run by Maxwell with a similar mission to the TerraMar Project.[4] It was incorporated in August 2013 in England and Wales and remains active, with a Salisbury address, as of the last company filing on July 10, 2019.[4] The objects of the charity TerraMar (UK) are listed as "the conservation, protection, and improvement of the environment" and in particular "the oceans, seas, coastlines and tidal areas" including "the conservation and protection of endangered marine flora and fauna, and the education of the public in the fields of marine conservation, marine ecology and related areas".[4] TerraMar (UK) was reported by The Times to have joined the "secretive Telegram messenger app service" on the date that Epstein died in prison.[13]

#5  Well of f---ing COURSE.

Epstein was not a "hedge fund manager." His trade was blackmail. He was taking in millions by blackmailing very wealthy and powerful figures whom he befriended and whored with and, almost certainly, secretly filmed in his various romper rooms getting it on with children.

One of this blackmailer's best friends was that March hare, Bill Clinton.

OF COURSE the Clinton's and their proxies intervened to quash Amy Robach's scoop.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Report: IAEA accuses Iran of evading attempts to probe its uranium production
[IsraelTimes] The top inspector for the UN’s nuclear agency has accused Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
of evading attempts to gather information on Tehran’s uranium production at a warehouse flagged by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last year and where particles were found earlier this year, according to Bloomberg.

The report cites "two officials familiar with the briefing who asked not to be identified" as saying that Massimo Aparo told diplomats in a closed-door meeting yesterday in Austrian capital Vienna that the Islamic Theocratic Republic is "evading attempts to discover the source of man-made and natural uranium particles detected at a warehouse in Tehran."

Iran says UN inspector it detained had explosive nitrates

[IsraelTimes] Iran is alleging that a UN inspector it blocked from a nuclear site last week tested positive for explosive nitrates.

Iran’s representative to the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi, makes the allegation at a suddenly called meeting in Vienna.

He does not elaborate on why he thinks the woman had the residue on her, though he says she went to the bathroom while waiting for a secondary screening and apparently removed the material. This happened at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility.

There is no immediate comment from the IAEA.

This incident comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and the US over its nuclear program.

Erdogan: ISIL leader's inner circle trying to enter Turkey
[Al Jazeera] Members of slain ISIS

chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's inner circle are trying to enter The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
from Syria, President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...
said on Thursday.
The question that comes to mind is, why would the ISIS big turbans and their families be so certain that Turkey is where they would be safe from the rampaging American and Kurdish beasts?
The number of people with family ties to al-Baghdadi who have been caught by Turkey "is close to reaching double digits", Erdogan added.

The Ottoman Turkish leader's comments were his second effort in as many days to publicise his country's push to catch Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS or ISIS) members who were close to al-Baghdadi.

"All of al-Baghdadi's inner circle is mostly targeting our country and these people are looking for ways to settle in our country or to come to our country," Erdogan told news hounds.

He and Ottoman Turkish officials said on Wednesday that Ottoman Turkish police detained one of al-Baghdadi's wives and a daughter last year.

A Ottoman Turkish official told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named they were among a group of 11 ISIS suspects detained in a raid in southern Turkey on June 2, 2018.

Police identified the wife as Asma Fawzi Muhammad al-Qubaysi. The official said she was the first wife of al-Baghdadi, who is known to have four wives.

A subsequent DNA test confirmed a suspect who identified herself as Leila Jabeer was al-Baghdadi's daughter, the official said.

A MAJOR BLOW
Ottoman Turkish authorities said they captured al-Baghdadi's elder sister, Rasmiya Awad, her husband, daughter-in-law and five children in the town of Azaz, in Aleppo province in northwestern Syria.

The region is administered by Turkey following a previous military campaign that was launched in 2016.

Erdogan said the suspects were being kept in detention centres in Turkey while the justice ministry decides how to handle their cases.

Al-Baghdadi went kaboom! during an October 26 raid by US special forces on his heavily fortified safe-house in the Syrian province of Idlib. The raid was a major blow to his gang, which has lost territory it held in Syria and Iraq in a series of military defeats.

Also Thursday, Erdogan said attacks continued in northeast Syria by Kurdish forces targeting either Ottoman Turkish troops or their Syrian opposition allies, despite two separate truces brokered by Russia and the US last month, which halted Turkey's military offensive.

At least 11 Syrian opposition fighters were killed in an attack on Thursday, Erdogan said, without specifying where or how it occurred.

The Ottoman Turkish leader said Wednesday a total of 144 Syrian opposition fighters and 10 Ottoman Turkish soldiers were killed during Turkey's military operation into northeast Syria, which began on October 9.
The Times of Israel adds:
The official said that Baghdadi’s spouse identified herself as Rania Mahmoud but was in fact Asma Fawzi Muhammad al-Qubaysi.

She was said to be the "first wife" of the IS leader, who was killed in a US special forces raid in Syria last month.

The woman was arrested on June 2, 2018 in the province of Hatay, near the Syrian border, along with 10 others, including Baghdadi’s daughter, who identified herself as Leila Jabeer.

The official said the family links were confirmed using a DNA sample of Baghdadi provided by Iraqi authorities.

"We discovered (the wife’s) real identity pretty quickly. At that point, she volunteered a lot of information about Baghdadi and the inner workings of ISIS," the official said.

"We were able to confirm a lot of things that we already knew. We also obtained new information that led to a series of arrests elsewhere."

Nawaz agrees to travel abroad for medical treatment
[DAWN] Former prime minister and Pakistain Moslem League (PML-N) supreme leader Nawaz Sharif
...served two three non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf, then by the courts...
has reportedly acceded to doctors’ advice and family’s persuasion to go abroad for treatment of his diseases.

"Nawaz Sharif has finally agreed to go to London after the doctors told him categorically that they had already exhausted all medical treatment [options] available in Pakistain and going abroad is the only option left," a Sharif family source told Dawn on Thursday.

Subsequently, he said, the PML-N had shared with the PTI government the doctors’ recommendations regarding Mr Sharif’s travel abroad. "In light of the doctors’ reports, the government is likely to remove Mr Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) in a day or two, enabling him to leave the country," he added.

The source further said that Mr Sharif might leave for London this week if his name was removed from the ECL. "Though Mr Sharif was not ready to go abroad after the recommendations of the medical board of the Services Hospital and the medics of the Sharif Medical City and the ’request’ of his family members, he has finally agreed," he said.

The source said Maryam Nawaz would not go with her father as she had surrendered her passport to the Lahore High Court as surety against the bail granted to her in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. "At the moment Nawaz Sharif’s health matters more as he is fighting for his life. Maryam Nawaz may explore the option of going to London to look after her father later," he added.

Iraq’s main port reopens; 4 more protesters killed in Baghdad

In Baghdad, security forces open fire on protesters marching in downtown’s Rashid street, where the central bank is located, as they tried to remove barriers near two bridges that lead to the west bank of the Tigris river. Demonstrators have been trying to reach the Green Zone on the other side, which houses government offices and foreign embassies.

'Aggressive' Animal Rights Activists Target Blind Man, 30, For Keeping A Guide Dog That They Claim Should Be 'running Free In The Fields'
A blind man was left shocked after being targeted by angry animal rights activists ‐ because he has a guide dog.

Jonathan Attenborough, who has been totally blind for five years, relies on his ’constant companion’, a highly trained labrador called Sam.

The 30-year-old, from Newburgh, Fife, said the guide dog had enabled him to lead a more fulfilling life since he was paired with it in April last year.

However, after two verbal attacks from people claiming to be campaigners against animal cruelty, he has begun to worry about further abuse.

And he is not alone. Another blind man has also come forward to describe the hostility he too has faced.

VA study finds veterans suffering from severe pain are at higher risk for suicide
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Veterans who experience pain are more likely to attempt suicide, according to a study by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The study, published this year in the Journal of Pain, found that veterans suffering from moderate to severe pain were at higher risk for suicide attempts over the course of a year.

"This close correlation between pain intensity and suicide risk and death rates suggests that reducing pain, or the perception of pain, can help prevent Veteran suicide," Dr. Lisham Ashrafioun, a researcher at the VA Center of Excellence for Suicide Prevention, wrote in a VA blog post.

Ashrafioun and his colleagues found that moderate to severe pain increased the risk of a suicide attempt, even when outside factors such as PTSD, depression, and a history of suicidal behavior were taken into account.

Texas Fighting Back Against Bad Education
[TexasTribune] State to take over Houston Independent School District by replacing school board and superintendent.

Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath informed Houston ISD of those plans in a letter Wednesday. He also sent letters saying the state would take over Shepherd and Snyder ISDs.

Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath sent a letter to Houston ISD Interim Superintendent Grenita Lathan and Board President Diana Davila giving two principal reasons for the decision: the school board’s “failure of governance” and the repeated low academic performance of Wheatley High School, which received its seventh failing rating this year. In addition to appointing a board of governance to replace the elected school board, Morath will also appoint a superintendent to lead the district. The timeline of the takeover action is unclear.

The announcement of a takeover was far from unexpected. Last week, a final state investigation report recommended Morath replace the school board, finding that it had violated state open meetings law, attempted to influence how contracts were awarded, and took action on district issues individually without consulting other board members.

Just yesterday, the state denied Houston ISD’s appeal of Wheatley High School’s state accountability rating, killing one of its last hopes of remaining independently governed. A 2015 law requires Morath to penalize a district with a school that has been failing for more than four consecutive years, by either shutting down the school or taking over the entire district. This is the first time that law will be used to take over a district.

The same law also led Morath to inform two small, rural school districts Wednesday — Shepherd ISD, in East Texas, and Snyder ISD, in West Texas — that he would replace their elected school boards with appointed boards. Snyder Junior High and Shepherd’s elementary and intermediate schools received their fifth consecutive failing ratings this year.

The districts will also be assigned state conservators, who will attend all board meetings, oversee district operations and submit monthly progress reports to the state. Houston ISD has had a state-appointed conservator since 2016, initially appointed to oversee another long-failing school.

Another Pundit Says Hillary Will be Dem nominee in 2020
[AmericanThinker] Be afraid, be very afraid. Barring some serious event in her life, Hillary Clinton likely will be nominated for President of the United States by the Democrat party in mid-July next year.
... [assuming no one emerges from the early primaries with lots of momentum]
Hillary may not enter the convention with a majority of delegates pledged to her, but she doesn't have to in order to win. If no one wins a majority on the first ballot, the superdelegates, roughly 16% of the total delegates and almost a third of a majority, become eligible to vote on the nomination in the second ballot and beyond, while the delegates pledged to nominees become free to change their support.
So one could expect lots of Arkancide at the convention?
Last time she lost badly in the Electoral College when many conservatives stayed home in protest. My prediction: if she is the Democratic Party candidate, many who stayed home last time will come out to reward the Donald for keeping his promises, while the Bernie lovers will stay home. And while I don’t wish it, she might permanently destroy what remains of her health in the attempt.

Russia, Syria call on international community to pressure US to leave Syria for good
[ALMASDARNEWS] Moscow and Damascus have called on the international community to pressure Washington to withdraw all US troops from the territory of Syria, the joint statement by Russian and Syrian coordination headquarters on humanitarian situation in Syria informed.

"We call on the entire international community to pressure the US, which continues to violate norms of international law by maintaining its presence on illegally occupied territories of Syria, and to obligate the US to withdraw all its troops from the sovereign Syrian Arab Republic," the statement says.

The statement claims that US’ unlawful presence in Syria is the main destabilizing factor in Syria currently. Namely, the US continues to hold the 55-km area around al-Tanf, hindering the release of refugees held at the Rukban camp, the statement adds. Despite the readiness of Russia and Syria to implement the third stage of the UN plan on evacuating the residents of the camp in big groups up to 2,500 people, on September 29, only 336 people left the camp.

"The reason for that is the unwillingness of the US to influence the turbans under its control, who sabotaged the alert of the upcoming action, restricted the duration of stay of the humanitarian convoy, engaged in extortion and directly threatened families wishing to leave the camp," the statement informs.

Moscow denies US claim of 200 Russian troops deployed to Libya
[ALMASDARNEWS] Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has refuted US media reports about Russian contractors allegedly operating in crisis-torn Libya, calling them "speculation".

"I categorically refute speculations of this kind. We are acting in the interest of the Libyan settlement, we are supporting the existing effort, including through the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
; we maintain a dialogue with those who somehow influence the situation. We do not think that there is any grounds for such statements, such fiction, but this is not the first time that US media spread different speculations, wicked rumours, falsehoods targeting us", Ryabkov told Russian journalists during a working visit to Israel.

The official noted that such hoaxes affected the attitude of the US public, thus damaging bilateral relations.

"We have already gotten used to this, and we take it in stride. However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
I have to acknowledge that recurrent hoaxes of this kind exercise a negative influence on the sentiment of the US domestic public, and the general atmosphere in the United States, unfortunately, does not promote normalisation of our ties, although we strive for it", he added.

The New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

reported earlier this week that 200 Russian "fighters" had allegedly arrived in Libya over the past six weeks as "part of a broad campaign by the Kremlin to reassert its influence across the Middle East and Africa".

UN Votes Overwhelmingly to Condemn US Embargo on Cuba
[USNEWS] The U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Thursday to condemn the American economic embargo of Cuba for the 28th year, rejecting U.S. criticism of human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
violations there and criticizing the Trump administration's increasingly tough enforcement measures.

The vote in the 193-member world body was 187-3 with the U.S., Israel and Brazil voting "no," and Colombia and Ukraine abstaining. Last year, the assembly voted 189-2 with the U.S. and Israel voting "no" and no abstentions.

For the second year, Moldova did not vote.

General Assembly resolutions are not legally binding and are unenforceable, but they reflect world opinion and the vote has given Cuba an annual stage to demonstrate the isolation of the U.S. on the embargo.

It was imposed in 1960 following the revolution led by Fidel Castro and the nationalization of properties belonging to U.S. citizens and corporations. Two years later it was strengthened.

Brazil's conservative government, led by President Jair Bolsonaro, was the first in Latin America to vote against the resolution in at least five years.

Several ISIS terrorists killed in clashes with Syrian troops in eastern Homs
[ALMASDARNEWS] For the second day in a row, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is involved in a fierce battle against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) in the desert region of eastern Syria.

A joint unit of the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF) reportedly clashed with the Islamic State terrorists in the Arwad Dam area of eastern Homs; this resulted in the death of several terrorists.

According to another report from the area, the Syrian Army also clashed with the Islamic State terrorists near the T-2 Pumping Station in the Al-Sukhnah District.

The clashes near the T-2 Station are still ongoing as the Islamic State terrorist attempt to flee the scene of the battle.

At the same time, Syrian warplanes renewed their air raids on points and targets of the Islamic State, hitting several sites in the Al-Sukhnah District of Homs and the Badiya Al-Sham region of the Deir Ezzor Governorate.

A source from the Syrian Army said the air force was heavily targeting the Islamic State’s hideouts in this vast desert region that stretches from central to eastern Syria.

Bolivia's Morales fumes as protesters attack mayoral ally
[Al Jazeera] Bolivia's President Evo Morales condemned on Thursday an attack on a female mayor in which an opposition mob forcibly cut her hair, covered her in paint and marched her barefoot through the streets.

Bolivia has been rocked by deadly post-election violence over opposition claims that Morales rigged his re-election last month.

A 20-year-old student died in festivities on Wednesday between pro- and anti-government demonstrators in the central city of Cochabamba, bringing the overall toll to three dead since the October 20 election.

In nearby Vinto, an opposition mob stormed the municipal headquarters and dragged the mayor Patricia Arce, into the street before setting the building ablaze.

Morales said in a tweet on Thursday that Arce - a member of his ruling Movement for Socialism (MAS) party - had been "cruelly kidnapped for expressing and defending her ideals and the principles of the poorest."

Television images showed her on the ground, her hair cut, and covered in red paint. She was dragged and forced to walk barefoot through the town by the mob before being rescued by police on cycle of violences.

Morales' party demanded the police bring the perpetrators to justice.

Arce's office told local media on Thursday the mayor "is recovering" from her ordeal.

Syrian Army tanks roll into northeastern Syria for possible showdown with Turkish troops
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish military expansion in northeastern Syria has been obstructed by the recent arrival of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) tanks and heavy weapons, a source from the Syrian Armed Forces told al-Masdar News this evening.

According to the source, the Syrian Army has deployed heavy armory to several border points in northeastern Syria, which is something they lacked at the start of their deployment in October.

The source said the Syrian Army has deployed several tank battalions to the front-lines around the Tal Tamr District in al-Hasakah and key town of ’Ayn ’Issa in al-Raqqa, pointing out that the Ottoman Turkish-backed hard boyz previously tried to advance in these areas.

He would add that the Syrian Army is committed to maintaining control over the Syrian-Ottoman Turkish border and will not accept any push by the hard boyz and the Ottoman Turkish Army into these areas.

The Ottoman Turkish regime has already accused Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
The Scourge of Hama...
of protecting the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), while also complaining about the latter’s presence along the border.

However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
despite Ankara’s complaints, the Syrian government has made it clear that they are not willing to work with them until they halt their support for groups they deem to be terrorists.

The absence of diplomatic ties between Damascus and Ankara has proven to be a major obstacle to peace in Syria, as the latter’s continued support for bully boy groups fighting against the state has led the Syrian government to remain hostile towards the Ottoman Turkish regime’s requests to their Russian partners.

-War on Police-
San Francisco Supervisor Chants 'F*** the [Police Officers Association]' During DA Candidate's Campaign Rally
[MRCTV.ORG] Heading into 2020, it seems we’ve entered into an age in which anyone, from Twitter troll to elected public official, can say whatever strikes their fancy no matter how abhorrent, destructive or violent, from any microphone they can manage to find, and with near impunity.

Oh, sorry. I mean, any liberal. Conservatives can’t do that.

Take, for example, the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer, who, after clunking her way up to the stage to stump for left-wing district attorney candidate Chesa Boudin, used her moment at the podium to rant against the city’s 2,000-member police union by leading the audience in the chant, "F*** the POA [Police Officers Association]!"

Classy.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, "Fewer raised her middle fingers while flanked by some of the city’s notable progressive leaders. Behind her were Supervisors Matt Haney and Hillary Ronen, as well as former Supervisors Jane Kim and David Campos."

The chant was reportedly in response to the POA’s position against Boudin.

Again, as I mentioned previously, this is a city supervisor. An elected city supervisor. Who apparently thinks it’s shrugs-a-plenty to rant profane things at her own city’s coppers.

Hilariously, Fewer followed up her unhinged tirade the next day by saying she’s sorry that her curses were "construed as an insult" toward coppers, but that she "cannot apologize" to the POA.

"It has been brought to my attention that the comments that I made last night, directed at the leadership of the Police Officers Association, were construed as an insult and an attack on the members of the San Francisco Police Department," Fewer said in a statement. "As this was not at all my intent, I would like to issue an apology to the 2,000 officers of the San Francisco Police Department; I am sorry for any offense that my comments may have caused."

"That said, I cannot apologize for my comments last night directed at the leadership of the Police Officers Association (POA)," Fewer added.

Boudin, whom Fewer was supposedly supporting during her rant, tried to distance himself from the incident without throwing Fewer completely under the bus, saying he "wasn't in the room when [the chant] started."

"I was surprised that it happened. I think it's coarse language I wouldn't have used it myself, but I think it shows some real dissatisfaction on the part of voters and even elected officials," Boudin said.

It also shows some extreme buttheadedness on the part of your elected officials, but hey. Can’t say that out loud.

#4  Well, it wasn't hard to find this little tidbit on Boudin's campaign finances...one of his top donors is Chloe Cockburn. She is a prominent partner of globalist billionaire George Soros' Democracy Alliance. Cockburn moderated a crucial 2017 summit with Soros and other deep-pocketed liberal philanthropists to strategize on taking over local and state offices to reclaim "our progressive future." Other bigwig Boudin donors hail from the Soros-allied Tides Foundation and Soros-funded Brennan Center for Justice.

And indeed...What makes Boudin especially toxic is his family tree. Boudin is the militant offspring of spoiled-rich radicals Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, members of the violent Weather Underground terrorist group, which bombed government buildings and corporate headquarters, aided convicted felons in jailbreaks and participated in a 1981 Brink's armored car holdup in Nyack, New York, with the Black Liberation Army. That crime took the lives of three innocent Americans -- police officers Edward O'Grady and Waverly Brown and private security guard Peter Paige.

Olde Tyme Religion
Three Mexicans, one Swiss wounded in stabbing at Jordan tourist spot
[Jpost] JERASH, Jordan - Three Mexican tourists and one Swiss were maimed along with four locals in Jordan on Wednesday when a man went on a stabbing rampage in Jerash, a major tourist destination near ancient Roman ruins, the health minister said.

Four of those injured had moderate to serious wounds and the others light ones, Saad Fayez Jaber told Rooters.

Later, Jaber told state news agency Petra that the condition of those seriously maimed was now stable and at least four would probably be discharged from hospital on Thursday.

Police identified the suspect as 22-year old Mohammad Abu Touaima and said he lived in a makeshift home on the edge of the city near a poor Paleostinian refugee camp where unemployment was rife among many of the youth in the area.

"I was about to have a heart attack," the suspect's father, Mahmoud, 56, told Rooters television. "My son was a loser and his mind was twisted, but he was scared of even slaughtering a baby chick. I am shocked he did this."

Sources had earlier mistakenly said three of the maimed tourists were Spaniards. Video of the incident showed victims speaking Spanish with Latin American accents.

Jerash is famed for its Roman ruins. Jordan has seen a surge in tourism in the last two years and is considered by tour operators as one of the safest tourist destinations in the Middle East. Attacks on foreign tourists have been rare.
Fox News adds:
The suspect's family identified him as Mustafa Abu Tuameh, a 22-year-old whom the Jordanian army says lived at a refugee camp in Jerash.

Tuameh’s family told the Associated Press that he was not a member of any organized militant group and believed he had acted alone, but they said he had recently become very religious, was very poor and apparently planned to die during his attack.

"Today he told his mother that he has only 35 piasters [50 cents] and he was going out and might not come back," said an uncle, Younis Abu Amrah.

Abu Amrah described his nephew as once being “a normal person who was interested in looking good, so he would have a special haircut.”

But two years later, Abu Amrah told the AP, things started to change.

"All of a sudden he became religious in a very extreme way, and he would say this is forbidden in Islam and that is forbidden," Abu Amrah said.

He said the family is very poor, with 10 children, and that his nephew had worked in a mill in the refugee camp. He said the family condemned Tuameh’s actions.

"If we knew he was going to do this, we would have broken his legs. This is unacceptable," the uncle said, adding that security forces ransacked the family's house but found nothing.

Residents of the camp also signed a letter denouncing what they called a "terrorist attack that was carried out by a coward,” according to the Associated Press.

Ex-UNRWA chief says agency 'victim of campaign to undermine it'
[Al Jazeera] The former head of the UN agency for Paleostinian refugees, who resigned amid an ongoing investigation into alleged abuses of authority, has denied wrongdoing saying his agency was the victim of a political campaign designed to undermine it.

"I have rejected these allegations from the start and will continue to do so," former commissioner-general Pierre Krahenbuhl told Swiss broadcaster RTS. "There is no corruption, fraud or mismanagement of aid."

A confidential internal agency ethics report, first reported by Al Jazeera in July, accused Krahenbuhl and his "inner circle" of abuses of authority.

The report alleged the inner circle was made up of Deputy Commission-General Sandra Mitchell - who resigned from her post in late July - Chief of Staff Hakam Shahwan - who left the agency in early July - and the senior adviser to the commissioner-general, Maria Mohammedi.

It claimed members of the group "engaged in misconduct, nepotism, retaliation ... and other abuses of authority" following the fallout from the United States's decision to cut its contributions to the agency from $360m to $60m for 2018 and then zero in 2019.

The US and Israel both accused UNRWA of mismanagement and anti-Israel incitement.

'ABOVE THE POLITICS'
Krahenbuhl said he was "above the politics that have governed this entire process" and was resigning "in the firm belief that this is in the best interest of Palestine refugees, of my family and myself"
In his resignation letter, Krahenbuhl complained the inquiry "has been fraught with leaks ... despite your personal commitment to confidentiality".

He denied what he called "the unfounded allegation that I entertained a romantic relationship with a staff member".

Krahenbuhl said he was "above the politics that have governed this entire process" and was resigning "in the firm belief that this is in the best interest of Palestine refugees, of my family and myself".

He added: "A further delay would only benefit those who have so actively engaged in political, financial and personal attacks over the past two years with the declared objective to undermine UNRWA and the integrity of Palestine refugees."

"Currently there are around 2,000 women and kiddies on whom we have data who are relatives of fighters, that’s just Russian nationals," the head of the FSB security service Alexander Bortnikov said at a regional security forum in Tashkent, TASS news agency reported.

He said that this included both family members who are still in the Middle East or who have left the region.

Some of these may still have holy warrior views and could commit terror attacks back in Russia, he warned.

"Such returnees quite often adhere to holy warrior religious ideology," Bortnikov said.

He said "the heads of international terror organizations target such people as jacket wallahs, proselytizers and recruiters and agents for the underground terrorist network."

Unlike some other countries, Russia has organized the repatriation of some women and kiddies of Islamist fighters, particularly to its Caucasus regions.

Man Arrested in Mexico Killings No Longer Suspect
[NBC] A man arrested Tuesday in the Mexican border city of Agua Prieta with a cache of weapons was not involved in the killings of nine U.S. citizens, Mexican officials say, as pressure mounted on the government to make an arrest.

Alfonso Durazo, a public security official, said Wednesday that preliminary information indicates that the suspect detained Tuesday is not linked to the attack, The Associated Press reported. NBC News was not immediately able to independently verify the AP report.

Earlier, criminal investigators in Mexico had said the suspect — who was found with multiple assault weapons on him and two hostages in his captivity — may have participated in Monday's brutal highway ambush, which killed three women and six children, including two infants.

The attack happened on a highway in the northern Mexican border state of Sonora as several families were traveling in a convoy of large SUVs that investigators believe drug cartels may have mistaken for those of rival gangs.

Relatives of the victims described a harrowing scene, with bullets flying at mothers and their children and a car bursting into flames when its gas tank was apparently shot. Eight children ranging from 7 months old to early teens survived; five are currently hospitalized in Phoenix, including some with serious injuries.

On Thursday, the first funerals were held for some of the victims.

Mourners earlier in the week arrived in the municipality of Bavispe, where the funerals are being held, in dozens of SUV-style vehicles and pickup trucks escorted by the Mexican National Guard, Reuters reported.

"We came prepared to sleep on the floor, in tents. Whatever is needed to support the families who died in this terrorist act," Alex LeBaron, a former congressman and cousin of one of the women, Rhonita Miller, said, adding that mourners had come from across the United States and Mexico, according to Reuters.

Miller is set to be buried on Friday, Reuters reported. On Thursday, funerals were held for Dawna Ray Langford, 43, and her children, Trevor Harvey Langford, 11, and Rogan Jay Langford, 2.

Mexico's president has invited U.S. authorities to aid in the investigation into who is responsible for the victims' deaths, and President Donald Trump has said in tweets that the United States is "ready, willing and able" to help Mexico "in cleaning out these monsters."

The victims of the attack lived in Mexico and all belonged to a Mormon offshoot group. Some family members have disputed Mexican authorities' account of the killings being a case of mistaken identity, arguing that cartel members know everyone in the area and would be unlikely to make such an error.

#8  "The memo was brief—just a few hundred words. The memo was polite. But for President Lyndon Johnson and his NATO allies, it read like a slap in the face. “France is determined to regain on her whole territory the full exercise of her sovereignty,” wrote French President Charles de Gaulle. The country intended to stop putting its military forces at NATO’s disposal and intended to kick NATO military forces—and those of NATO members—off of its land. In short, de Gaulle had just done the unthinkable: pulled the plug on a crucial part of NATO.

De Gaulle’s 1966 decision to withdraw France from NATO’s integrated military command sent shock waves through NATO’s member states. It was a reminder of the fissures within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization—and a challenge to its very existence. Could NATO survive without a member state’s participation in the very military agreements it was founded on?"

Italian Holocaust survivor assigned police protection due to online death threats
[IsraelTimes] An 89-year-old Auschwitz survivor who is a senator-for-life in Italia is assigned police protection in response to revelations that she is subject to 200 social media attacks each day.

Italian state radio says Milan’s prefect, who reports to the interior minister, has assigned a Carabinieri paramilitary police security detail to Liliana Segre because of the threats against her.

Segre unwittingly provoked one of the country’s most intense confrontations with anti-Semitism since the end of its Fascist dictatorship during World War II. She called for the creation of a parliamentary committee to combat hate, racism and anti-Semitism. Parliament approved her motion ‐ but without votes from Italia’s right-wing parties.

Matteo Salvini’s euroskeptic League party, Silvio Berlusconi’s center-right Forza Italia and Giorgia Meloni’s far-right Brothers of Italia all abstained, in a move that defied the kind of social consensus that has marked Italian post-war politics.

Israel’s ambassador to Italia tweets his dismay about the threats. "An 89-year-old survivor under escort symbolizes the danger that the Jewish communities in Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
are facing today," says Ambassador Dror Eydar.

Two Illegal Aliens Charged in Killing of California Sheriff Deputy
[TOWNHALL] On Thursday, the Department of Justice announced federal indictments against four individuals arrested in connection with the killing of El Dorado County Sheriff Deputy Brian Ishmael. The charges handed down today relate to the illegal cultivation of marijuana and illegal discharge of a firearm, but the new indictments confirm the two suspects previously arrested for the killing of Deputy Ishmael were in the country illegally.

On October 23rd, Deputy Brian Ishmael was killed and another deputy maimed after responding to a call about stolen marijuana crops at a private residence. Deputy Ishmael was shot and killed after immediately coming under fire by an unknown number of people. The injured deputy was taken to a local hospital and released after undergoing surgery.

Juan Carlos Vasquez, who has been arrested on suspicion of murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and Ramiro Bravo Morales, who has also been charged as an accessory, were both identified as illegal aliens.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Syrian Army’s main objective in 2020 is Jisr Al-Shughour
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) main objective in 2020 will be the key city of Jisr al-Shughour in the western countryside of the Idlib Governorate, a military source told al-Masdar News.

According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army’s upcoming offensives in northwestern Syria will concentrate on putting the military within position of striking Jisr al-Shughour from several axes.

In particular, the Syrian Arab Army will focus on two major axes: al-Ghaab (directly south of Jisr al-Shughour) and northeast Latakia (southwest of Jisr al-Shughour).

At the al-Ghaab Plain, the Syrian Arab Army will attempt to clear the northern part of this farming region, which is currently under the control of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else
...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
and the Hurras al-Deen Group.

Meanwhile,
...back at the desert island, Irene was indignant at the thought of doing such a thing without benefit of clergy...
in northeastern Latakia, the Syrian Army will attempt to capture the imperative town of Kabani, which is a key area that overlooks the northern part of al-Ghaab and southwestern Jisr al-Shughour.

The Syrian Army’s previous attacks on Kabani have led to many jihadists killed; however, they have not been able to enter the town.

With reports surfacing of the elite 25th Special Mission Forces Division (formerly Tiger Forces) deploying to the Kabani axis, this front will likely be a focal point in the coming weeks.

All of these operations should eventually lead the Syrian Army to the strategic city of Jisr al-Shughour.

Jisr al-Shughour is the de-facto capital for the jihadist rebels in Syria, as it is home to some of the largest groups, including Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, Hurras al-Deen group, and the Turkestan Islamic Party.

Country may remain on FATF list beyond February: minister
[DAWN] Pakistain may remain on the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) beyond February 2020, mainly because of its risk profile and in view of two simultaneous evaluations.

Senior officials provided this information to a parliamentary panel on Thursday. They also revealed that the government recovered only Rs5.6 billion in taxes on foreign assets worth about $7.4bn (Rs1.15 trillion) of Paks reported by the international community under information exchange arrangements.

"Pakistain faces greater challenges than many other countries because of its risk profile," said the minister responsible for economic affairs division, Hammad Azhar, while speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue, presided over by MNA Asad Umar.

He said that some countries had been removed from the grey list after just 80 per cent compliance while Pakistain was being pressurised to ensure 100pc compliance with the action plan.

Europe
Denmark approves Nord Stream 2, ensuring the deal will go through. US gas guarantees rejected.
Nord Stream 2, the controversial Russian natural-gas pipeline project, has received the last permission it needs to close the distance between the Leningrad Region and the Baltic coast of Germany. It’s now probably too late for the U.S. to prevent Russia from finishing the project by the end of this year.

Nord Stream 2 is part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plan to send natural gas to Europe without needing to go through Ukraine. The new pipeline will be able to carry 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas, more than half of what Russia now pumps through the Ukrainian system, and would mean for Ukraine a loss of $3 billion a year in gas transit revenues. The U.S. would like to prevent this, and also keep relatively cheap Russian gas from becoming an obstacle to increasing exports of U.S. liquefied natural gas to Europe. President Donald Trump has argued that Germany is too dependent on Russian gas, and has repeatedly threatened European companies involved in the project with sanctions.

Meanwhile, Russia has rushed to lay the pipe. On Oct. 1, Gazprom, the Russian gas export champion, said construction was 83% finished, with 2,042 kilometers (1,270 miles) laid across the bottom of the Baltic Sea. There had been a snag, though: For two years, Denmark put off granting permission for the section that was to pass through its territorial waters. On Wednesday, Denmark finally granted it, allowing the pipeline to take the shortest possible route, and Gazprom says that section can be built in five weeks.
Obviously they don't see Russia as a threat, and view economic engagement as the best way to avoid war. And if they're not worried about it, why should we be worried about it?

Well, yes. Putin's remarks in that clip are 100% sensible, clear, consistent and comprehensible.

He is speaking like a normal leader of a normal country who sees his job as the promotion of his country's national interests. It's not his job, or our role, to deny obvious reality and pretend that these are not valid Russian interests.

The task for Russia's leadership and our leaders is to get to a mutual understanding of those interests, articulate which of those conflict with vital interests of our own, and work it out.

As opposed to flogging hysterical tall tales, bullshit and outright lies for 3+ years, drawing nonexistent "red lines" in places where we have no clear interests and no real friends, and waxing apoplectic about a tiny peninsula in Russia's backyard that has for over 200 years been considered and considered itself not only Russian in nature but solidly, ineradicably inside Russia's sphere of interest.

#9  On no other issue do the Shitshow's anti-Trump clowns demonstrate so much stupidity, bad faith and sheer incoherence as our policy toward Russia.

These are the same people who ignored Russia's legitimate interests in the Clinton era, breeding the almost-universal resentment and hatred of the US across Russian society.

Then Zero his Pajama Boy foreign policy adviser-- the dude fresh out of his mom's basement and his MFA in Creative Writing program-- this ignorant crew went to the other extreme and promised Putin and Medvdev they would reverse Bush and not sell Patriot missiles to our ally Poland.

Then, barely three years after these fools heaped scorn on Romney for calling Russia a threat, they told us that Putin was ... the biggest threat to all human health 'n' holiness since Genghis Hitler Mussolini.

In the process these idiots are pushing us toward a war footing with Russia. If their incoherence were not so dangerous, it would merit only scorn.

But their stupidity and hysterics aren't funny. They're deadly.

These Shitshow Clowns are pushing us into a war with a nation that should be a partner for us against China and jihadist Islam.
