Well at least we know Tammy is fertile, Nancy left that long behind her, envy is a strange thing.

#2 I actually agree with Pelosi on this one. Any accommodation of this type made to Duckworth would soon find abuse elsewhere.

I'm certain that is not the reason for proxy vote request being denied however. Everyone knows recognizing the involvement of a male figure, bringing a fetus to full term and live delivery are so un-progressive, so un-democratic. What sort of message does this send? Duckworth must be punished !

#3 What this was actually about is making sure that Pelosi's guy gets voted onto the Energy Committee. Duckworth supports the other guy.

#6 ed in texas: I thought it was something like this. However, I thought Pelosi wasn't sure she could count on Ducksworth's vote to support her leadership. She was afraid her minions would not be minions or stray off the Donk plantation--all about control. Similar in a way.
