#1 Trump is bombing the $hit out of them as he said he would during the campaign.

#2 A-29 is an Afghan-flagged aircraft.

#3 Call them 'crop dusted'.

#4 The A-29 is of Brazilian origin. It is a turbo prop and used for counter-insurgency. It looks a lot like a jazzed up version of the WWII Curtiss P-40 Warhawk.

Technically, Trump did not bomb the $hit out of these militants. I'd bet, although not certain, the money for the A-29 is coming from the U.S. for these aircraft. We have been training their pilots in these aircraft. Training of Afghans on A-29.

Can you hang bombs on these things maybe? :-)

#6 gorb, yes. They can carry 10 250 lb bombs, or 5 500 pounders. They can also carry a varietyof other armaments.

#7 OK, JohnQC. There's hope that your wish may eventually come true. :-)

#8 This is a specialized CAS aircraft whose budget should be allocated to the Army. Currently, that budget belongs to the Air Force, which uses it to fund air superiority aircraft like the F-35. If you handed the Army's mortar budget to the Navy, you can bet the squids would use it on some ship-mounted artillery system.
