#1 As long as the allies are carefully systematic, the air defenses shouldn't pose a threat. I bet we could knock most of the big stuff out with either no losses or only one loss.

Now all the AAA guns when our planes fly low are a different story.

#2 The important bit here, IMHO, is they are doing it publicly, adding a little more weight to the stick so China can make Fat Kim an offer of carrots he can't refuse.

Radar directed AAA is actually one of the easiest things to defeat in SEAD. That's not to say it can be rendered harmless; it can and will claim victims. But jamming, speed, and weather/light can get it under control.
